Chapter 1: Ice Monster & Earthquake

Year: 1985

Location: Krypton

All space & galaxy, all the planets, the planet's supercomputer: Brainiac.

(at Krypton...)

Ice mountain, The guy in the flyship, Kryptonian Scientist: Jor-El, his cold's costume, Jor-El into broken ice mountain, he finds the hole, his flyship is down, he into the hole, his flying on the rooftop.

Jor-El conducts research in the desolate northern region.

"Northern region, sector 17-Alpha. Log date 8313-Omega-3. Jor-El speaking. Gathering readings for final subterranean probe." Jor-El replied.

The probe is down the hole. Jor-El button controls, the probe is light on, he sees the line.

*LOUD RUMBLING*

Snow fell, Jor-El looked up to loud rumbling, hot cloud to wall, the smoke, he saw the line.

*BEEPING*

Jor-El looked down and closed his eyes.

The smoke was still on the wall & broken.

*EXPLOSION*

Jor-El nodded no, opened his eyes, he turned to smoke.

"Huh?" Jor-El replied, as he turned to something.

Jor-El turned… the crawl grabbed his, Jor-El gasps, the crawl takes his neck, he groans, he looks up at ice monster, he still groans, ice monster is green cloud, ice monster pulls Jor-El, ice monster takes him up, Jor-El grabbing the pipe to fire, Jor-El hit to the crawl for the pipe to fire.

*SCREECHES*

Ice monster got injured, Jor-El fell and grabbed the line, he stood up & turned his flying ship, he running and grabbing his flying ship, ice monster grabbed his flying ship, Jor-El has escaped, his side eyes, he turned to ice monster, he gasped and turned to his head, Jor-El's flying ship was still faster, the crawl takes his, Jor-El yelps, he grabbing the controls in down, ice monster got hunt to ice, ice hunt ice monster, ice monster was killed by ice, ice monster was dead. Jor-El was away from the hole, he looked down at his neck to the crawl and grabbing the crawl, he grunted, he dropped the crawl, he went to the shipboat.

(At the Shipboat…)

Jor-El gets into the shipboat at ice mountain & ocean, Kryptonian people, his flying ship down, she turns to Jor-El.

"I hope everything went smoothly, sir." The Krypton woman replied.

Jor-El is down on the floor.

"Frostbite, ice monsters. Same old, same old." Jor-El replied.

Jor-El is off his cold's costume. He went into the open door. The computer to Brainiac.

"Good afternoon, Jor-El." The voice of Brainiac.

"Brainiac. What an unpleasant surprise." Jor-El, as he buttons the controls.

"I'm awaiting your data." The voice of Brainiac.

"Have you been spying on me with your satellites again?" Jor-El asked, he turned his head.

"The Planetary Council demands that I analyze your data as soon as you obtain it." The voice of Brainiac.

"You know, Brainiac, somewhere in all those trillions of file clusters, there's got to be one that says people don't like to be spied upon." Jor-El explained, he turned to Brainiac.

"Then why did they create me?" Brainiac asked.

"A question I often ask myself. Transmission set. It's feeding time. My brother: Zor-El with Brainiac 8." Jor-El replied.

Jor-El turned Brainiac to the computer.

"Data received. Ending transmission." The voice of Brainiac, the computer is off.

"You're welcome. Glutton." Jor-El replied, as he turned.

His kryptonian son, by the name of Kal-El, was walking and he was babbling, he met his father.

"Hey, Kal, What do you have there?" Jor-El asked, as he down & hugged Baby Kal-El and he stood up.

Baby Kal-El grabbed the box, and solar panels came out of the box.

"Ah!" Baby Kal-El yelled, as he turned to solar panels.

"Oh, great." Jor-El replied, as he smiled.

Jor-El down Baby Kal-El and solar panels were running.

His kryptonian wife, by the name of Lara Lor-Van, saw them.

"Kal-El was helping me check the solar panels when he discovered a playmate." Lara replied.

Baby Kal-El was walking to solar panels.

"I heard you had fun too." Lara replied.

"Oh, yes, I encountered a very friendly shoggoth. All in all, I prefer your arms." Jor-El replied, as he hugged Lara.

*THUDDING*

"We're moving." Lara replied, as she turned.

Lara sees the window to the ice mountain.

"What forsaken spot are we going to now?" Lara asked, as she turned to the ice mountain.

"Home, Lara." Jor-El replied.

"Home?" Lara asked.

"That's right. What's the matter, five months in this deep freeze not enough for you?" Jor-El asked.

"No, it's just that once we're back, you'll start going over the data." Lara replied.

Lara walked to the window and Jor-El walked to Lara.

"I keep thinking, "What if it supports your theory? What then?" Lara asked, as she side-eyed Jor-El.

"We can deal with it. Trust me. The truth can only help." Jor-El replied, as he placed his hands on Lara's right shoulder.

"Oh, Jor-El. Such a beautiful world, even up here. It's hard to believe it could all come to an end." Lara replied.

Jor-El and Lara looked to the window.

The shipboat was going to the ocean.

(Meanwhile…)

At Jor-El & Lara's home. His research is complete, Jor-El heads home. Later, he goes over the data and it only supports his theory that Krypton is on the verge of destruction. Jor-El sees Krypton, Krypton is an explosion, Jor-El groans, he looks down, he looks at the sun.

A kryptonian man, by the name Lor-Van, was standing and talking to his daughter Lara.

"All I can tell you, Lara, is that if he persists in predicting the end of the world, it'll be the end, all right. Of his political and professional career." Lor-Van replied.

"But what if he's right, Father?" Lara asked, as she turned to her father.

"Try convincing the council. He hasn't one supporter for his theory. They even avoid him in the hallways. Do you know why?" Lor-Van asked, as he turned to his daughter.

"Why is that, Lor-Van?" Jor-El asked, as he stood behind them.

Lara and Lor-Van turned to Jor-El downstairs.

"Because you can never be wrong, Jor-El. You can never let it go. You have an ego the size of House of El." Lor-Van replied.

"I never let my ego get in the way of the facts. My brother Zor-El, my sister-in-law: Alura and my niece: Kara." Jor-El replied.

"Well, let me let you in on a little fact." Lor-Van replied.

Baby Kal-El pulled & back to the ball and he with the kryptonian dog: Krypto. Krypto barked at him, Baby Kal-El smiled & clapped his hands.

"Unless Brainiac agrees with you, it's all over. Your brother with Brainiac 8." Lor-Van replied.

Baby Kal-El plays Krypto with the ball.

"No more expeditions, no more research, no more…" Lor-Van replied.

*LOUD RUMBLE*

Jor-El, Lara and Lor-Van turned to the plant and rumbled.

"It's' another temblor." Jor-El replied.

"KAL-EL!" Lara yelled as she turned & running.

Jor-El turns Lara running & takes Baby Kal-El. Baby Kal-El was whimpering & turned to Earthquake, he looked up at the meal body, the meal body fell, Lara grabbing Baby Kal-El was crying. The meal body was destroyed.

(At Krypton…)

Krypton was earthquakes & rumble, people were screaming, they were looking up at the ship was down, he was down, she was running, he was climbing to the floor, he was standing, she fell, he turned her, he grabbed her, he with her, they were hide & sees earthquakes. Smoke to fire, stop earthquakes & rumble.

Baby Kal-El whimpered & hugged his mother to hold.

"Hush. Shh, shh, shh." Lara replied, as she turned.

Lara and Baby Kal-El were hiding, they saw something, Lor-Van was hiding at the table, he got up, Jor-El got up, Krypto was whimpering & hiding.

Krypton people were goraning, they saw an earthquake, he stayed down on the floor, he stood up to ship, the ship was destroyed & fire, Krypton man was walked. They to indistinct chatter.

Jor-El, Lor-Van, Lara & Baby Kal-El looking at something at home.

"You'd better be wrong, Jor-El." Lor-Van replied, as Jor-El turned to him.

Jor-El and Lor-Van see Krypton.

"You'd better be dead wrong." Lor-Van replied.

Krypton city was filled with smoke, fire and earthquakes.
