Chapter 4: Farewell Krypton
(At Jor-El & Lara's home…)
As it just so happens & living rooms, Lor-Van is visiting & sat on the couch and Lara comes to the drinks at tray.
"Then you've read it?" Lara asked.
"Yes. And as much as I don't want to believe it, your husband's findings are hard to discount. Still, there's the Brainiac question." Lor-Van replied, as Lara gave her father to drink, she sat down on the couch.
Door opens, Lara & Lor-Van turn & look at Jor-El, he groans, Jor-El enters his home.
"Jor-El! Father's read your report. He thinks he can help." Lara replied.
Lor-Van grabbed the read and he stood up.
"Yes, I think it's worth it-" Lor-Van replied.
"It's too late." Jor-El replied, he walked & was injured.
Lara gasped.
"Good lord." Lor-Van gasped.
"What happened?" Lara asked.
Lara ran & grabbed Jor-El.
"Brainiac tried to kill me. The police will be here soon. Remember when I told you what we'd do if worst came to worst?" Jor-El asked.
"No!" Lara gasped.
"I'm sorry. I never thought it would come to this." Jor-El replied.
Jor-El hugging Lara and Lor-Van upstairs.
"Come to what? What are you talking about? What's this nonsense about Brainiac?" Lor-Van asked.
Lara walks to Baby Kal-El's room. As Jor-El turned to Lor-Van.
"Lor-Van, if you love your grandson and care one whit about his future, you'll kindly shut up!" Jor-El replied, as he got mad.
Lor-Van gasped, Jor-El walked, Baby Kal-El at his rooms, he turned to his mother, he was babbling, Lara with him, Lara to the sleep box to Baby Kal-El's eyes, he was closed eyes, he was asleep.
"Sleep, Kal-El, my beautiful child, my heartbeat, my life." Lara replied, as she smiled.
Lara's left hand to Baby Kal-El was asleep. His home's light is off. Jor-El quickly makes preparations for his back-up plan: to save his son, Kal-El, by sending him off in the small one-person spaceship he had earlier developed as part of his evacuation plan. It was meant for someone to take a Phantom Zone projector.
"Send Kal-El to another world? You can't be serious!" Lor-Van replied.
Jor-El turned & pointed his left hand to Lor-Van.
"The ship will get him there. I know. I built it. It was part of the plan. Save everyone in the Phantom Zone, travel to Earth, then bring them back. My brother, send my niece to the Phantom Zone or Earth." Jor-El replied.
Lara cautiously & gently Baby Kal-El, she looks down at Jor-El & her father.
"Now it's only good for a lifeboat. And the passenger will be my son, the Last Son of Krypton." Jor-El replied.
The light signal Jor-El & Lor-Van looked at the police was coming, the police found Jor-El & Lara's home. Jor-El looked up at Lara. Lor-Van turned and Jor-El was running.
"LARA!" Jor-El yelled.
Jor-El runs to Lara cautiously & gently Baby Kal-El, wrapped in a red blanket, they go downstairs.
"I'm ready. He's sedated." Lara replied.
Jor-El & Lara looked down at Baby Kal-El.
"The police are here. They'll break into the lab to get me. Maybe if I lead them away while you set up the launch…" Jor-El replied.
Jor-El, Lara, Baby Kal-El & Lor-Van were running downstairs to the basement. The ship in the basement. Jor-El turns to see Lara standing. She cautiously & gently Baby Kal-El.
"I can't do it all myself." Lara replied.
"I'll be back. I promise." Jor-El replied.
Jor-El turned downstairs, but now it can only be used as a lifeboat to save one person. Lor-Van is skeptical of this plan, but knowing Jor-El can't outrun the authorities, ultimately volunteers to distract the police so his daughter, Lara. Lor-Van places his hands on Lara's shoulder. She turned to her father.
"Lara. please, this is madness!" Lor-Van replied.
"Father, I love you dearly but this is my baby's life." Lara replied.
Jor-El buttons the control to the ship.
"But he can't outrun the police." Lor-Van replied.
The ship opened the door.
"Do you have a better idea?" Lara asked, as she turned to her father.
Lor-Van's expression changed and he let out a soft exhale.
The police are flying to lights, they take the guns. They run & the window to hide. He had binoculars.
"See him?" Policeman asked.
"Not yet. They have the lights off." Policeman 2 replied.
Policeman was binoculars vision was green.
"Wait! There's movement in the hover port." Policeman 2 replied.
Jor-El away from Lara & Baby Kal-El were staying here. He running & into the ship. The ship is going.
"Look out!" Policeman 2 yelled.
*SMASH!*
The window is broken to the ship. Police turned around, green smoke, police got him. The ship was flying, and the police chased Jor-El's ship.
"I hope his crash bags are working." Policeman 3 replied, as his gunshot to the ship.
The ship was fire & smoke, the ship to the ground, the ship flipped, the ship was pulled, police got him. Police grabbing the gun. Open the door to the ship. Airbag to his hands up… Lor-Van was hiding & surprised.
"Good evening. Is there a problem?" Lor-Van asked, as he smiled.
(At Jor-El & Lara's home…)
The home of light on one, Jor-El and Lara can prepare the ship to launch. He controls, she walks to his spaceship, Lara grave to the crystal & holographic projector in Baby Kal-El sleeping in his ship. Lara's left hand to kiss in Baby Kal-El's head.
"I've got the hyperspace coordinates locked in. Once he gets to Earth he'll be safe." Jor-El replied.
Lara walks to Jor-El, she turns around, she sees Baby Kal-El on the spaceship, and Lara is crying to teach. Seeing Lara's grief over losing their only child. A tear streamed down from Lara's right eye.
"Lara, I could send you with him. There's a risk, but if I have time to recalibrate the course-" Jor-El replied.
Jor-El offers to make some quick flight modifications so that she can be saved along with him. Lara turned to Jor-El, her hands to his head, Jor-El turned to Lara.
"No, my love. I'm staying with you." Lara replied.
Lara buttons the controls. Baby Kal-El is wearing a seat belt holding his spaceship. Jor-El & Lara were staying. She refuses, saying that her place is with Jor-El and triggers the final preparations herself. His spaceship went up to the window.
(Brainiac Operations…)
Security guards were standing, he to the radio. He turned to Security guards. They turned to him.
"The patrol's reporting in. Jor-El's escaped the perimeter." Security guards replied.
Security guards fire extinguisher to the flying ship. They turned to Brainiac.
"They're requesting further instructions. It doesn't matter anymore. Farewell, Krypton." The voice of Brainiac replied.
Brainiac is off to the computer. The lights flickered off. Security guards were gasping & turned.
"Hey, what's going on?" Security guards asked.
"Where'd he go?" Security guards 2 asked.
"Where's Brainiac?" Security guards 3 asked.
Security guards turned Brainiac's gone.
*BEEPING*
In orbit, Brainiac's satellite completes download and launches into space.
*LOUD RUMBLING*
As earthquakes rock the planet, the apprehended Lor-Van calmly recognizes it's Krypton's final death throes. He with the police turned to earthquakes.
"Not another one." Policeman replied.
"No. The last one." Lor-Van replied, as he calmly recognizes.
(Jor-El & Lara's home…)
Jor-El and Lara launch Kal-El's ship to rumble & earthquakes.
"Goodbye, Kal-El." Jor-El replied.
Jor-El & Lara say goodbye to Baby Kal-El. When he was asleep & goodbye to his parents. Jor-El buttons the control to blue. His spaceship to fire. It successfully lifts off: watching their son disappear from sight, the couple hold each other. Jor-El & Lara see Kal-El's spaceship & gone. Jor-El & Lara farewell Kal-El, Jor-El kisses Lara. Brainiac Operations was earthquakes. Security guards were screaming as the rock fell. Krypton's city was rumble & earthquakes. Krypton people were screaming & running, The metal statue fell & was destroyed. Security guard seeto rumble. He got down. The tower smashed the computer.
*SMASH!*
Brainiac Operations was destroyed.
*BOOM!*
While the terrified population witness their world tearing their civilization and itself apart.
*ALL BOOM!*
Kal-El's ship is going, All explodes to greens. Behind Kal-El's ship, Krypton explodes. Farewell Krypton.
*BOOM!*
Baby Kal-El was sleeping in his cockpit. The spaceship then opens a wormhole in space and enters, several chunks of Kryptonite entering into it as well. Baby Kal-El is slightly sad, about his parents being dead.
