Chapter 1

When I woke up, I looked around to see I was Alone in a damp dark cave. Except for one sheet of paper that read "Find the stone" I found I had no memory at all but I was certain that finding this stone was my only hope. So I started my journey through the cave. I made it about ten steps then noticed another worn-looking note that said that I would restore my memory only if I reached the center of the cave and if I took 1 step outside I would never be able to find the cave again. Great, I thought I have no food no water, and no supplies and the only way to get my memory back is to go through this stupid cave. But I decided it would be best to keep moving forward.

Although I had no memory, I found I had a strong sense of direction. I found that this was a maze and I knew every turn I should take. Once I came across an old notebook whippee. another thing that will make my life just much more miserable it read Beware child of Hades you may know which way to go but in order to get the stone, you must complete this maze and travel through tartarus where many dangers await you. Child of Hades? You will find one other in this maze, a friend of the past. There is no turning back. Just then the cave started collapsing behind me.

I started sprinting through the maze running in whatever direction felt right then WAM! I ran straight into someone else. Suddenly I thought of the line from the notebook You will find one other in this maze, a friend of the past. But I did not have much time to think I saw that the person I ran into was being chased by Hellish-looking dogs. Like I had done it thousands of times before I thought of a sword forming under the earth strait into my hand I look down to see Pitch black liquid seeping out of the ground and into my hand in a matter of seconds I was holding a 2 foot long pitch-black blade with a bone-white hilt.

As soon as the dogs saw the blade they came to a halt.

"Good boy" I muttered

They began to slowly advance but as soon as I was about to strike they turned and ran.

"Hector," said the person I ran into said surprised

Which scared me half to death I had completely forgotten that they were there

"Do I know you?" I said while turning to face them.
