"Really Sophie?" Hector said

As he watched her lay out all the food they could eat that day which included MREs, jerky, and hot Cheetos "You knew that we would be trapped in a cave for over a week and you chose to pack hot Cheetos" "You got a problem with that?" She asks questioningly "Yes, yes I do" But they both began eating anyway "This stuff smells like dirty gym socks," he said while opening an MRE. Then through a silent agreement, they both started heading further into the maze.

As we were walking Sophie slipped her hand into mine I raised an eyebrow at her questioningly. She looked back at me confused for a moment then seemed to realize she was holding my hand "Oh" she said not releasing what she had done "Well I guess I couldn't hide it for too long. Before you lost your memory we were a little more than just friends." "I guess I kinda figured that out already" "How," she asked "You are REALLY bad about hiding your feelings" Then just in time to ruin our little happy moment in my crapy life a voice spoke into my mind Even you prophesied child cannot defeat my wrath I let go of Sophia's hand and grabbed my head "GET OUT" I bellowed causing the floor to crack and darken around me "Hey its okay, its okay," Sophia said calming me down and grabbing my hand "What the hell do they mean" "what does what mean" I filled her in on the voices "oh, umm you are a child spoken in a prophecy that states a child of the underworld would be born with his powers greatly enhanced after the destruction of Diocletian's scepter" I recalled reading on the scepter before I got my memory erased

"So basically I am a superpowered version of a child of hades who can spawn the dead"

"I guess"

"But who would attempt to come and kill me"

"Would you like me to make a list because that's gonna take a while."

"That many huh"

"Yup"

I felt my hand go right through hers "What the"

"Another thing with being a 'superpowered child of hades' is that 1. using your powers makes you tired 2. Sometimes you turn into a ghostly state and are not solid"

I just nodded my head as we continued walking deeper into the cave
