Welcome! This is my second time jumper fic, with my first being on my profile. This OC will not have a romantic pairing, so expect canon relationships (for the most part).

This will cover classic and new who, so be prepared for that

Also, my friends and I have a discord server and I would love to chat with y'all! Link in my profile!

Every day was the same for her. Wake up, go to work, work for eight hours, go home, read until dinner, and go to bed. Every single day was the same routine.

She hated it.

She wanted something new, something exciting!

She sighed as she exited the library she worked at, reaching her hand up to tuck a stray piece of jet-black hair behind her ear as she did so.

There was a piece of her that felt that she was… destined for more. She didn't necessarily believe in destiny and all that, but she could feel it in her bones that she was meant for something more than just working in a library.

She started the journey home, thankful that she lived only a twenty minute walk from the library she worked at.

A large part of her dreaded going home. Her neighborhood was less than ideal, even for London.

But still, she soldiered on, her head held high as she went down the streets to her flat.

She will reflect on this moment later on and say that she wished she had been more careful.

"Give me all your money and you won't get hurt!" a voice from beside her exclaimed, along with a sudden pressure being put at her side.

She froze when she felt the knife at her side, she didn't have any money on her. "I-"

"Hey, what's going on over there?" Another voice yelled, seemingly from behind her.

Suddenly, she felt a sharp, stabbing pain just below her ribs. Before she could process what happened, the man with the knife ran off.

"Are you okay miss?" a voice asked, sounding like it was underwater.

"I- I think I've just been stabbed." Her voice was shaky as she pressed a hand to her side, only for it to come back sticky with blood. "Oh my god! Yeah, I've been fuckingstabbed!" Her voice became hysterical as she realized what was probably going to happen.

She didn't want to die! Sure, she hated her life but that didn't mean that she was suicidal!

She crumpled to the ground, hearing frantic voices as she laid there on the ground.

Gold danced around her vision as she closed her eyes, the voices around her fading as she did.

It looked like she was destined to die here in the street, not for adventure like she thought she was.

As she took her final breath, she could've sworn she heard a wheezing sound.

And just like that, Abigail Theirin woke up.
