(forest in Transylvania)
We see a heavily filled backpack moving through the forest suddenly… zombies dressed like bellhops were slowly moving through as well…
Zombies that were on fire
On a nearby hilltop a teen blonde boy wearing some travel gear and a big backpack was watching this, this was Naruto Uzumaki
"Huh so mom was right transylvania is filled with monsters" Naruto said with a chuckle as he started to follow the zombies from afar
Naruto didn't mind monsters and hoped that he would meet some other monsters on his travels since he only met the occasional monster
Now your probably are wondering why Naruto isn't afraid of monsters
Well there is a simple explanation for that
Naruto is half monster
More specifically his mother is a kitsune, a nine tailed fox, while his father is a normal man
Right now he was doing something his mom said all young monsters should do, go out into the world and explore a little
Well he did, he just wasn't expecting to find flaming zombies on the move
His curiosity told him to follow them which is what he did
Plus if anything attacked him he could just use his kitsune abilities that his mom taught him
He soon came up to what looked like a big old castle which the zombies were all going into
'Huh so that castle rumor was true' Naruto thought as he approached the castle and saw that it had a modern spinning door
When he entered it he looked around at all the different kinds of monsters that were in the lobby
'Wow this is so cool! maybe I can finally make some monster friends' Naruto thought with a smile
Suddenly he was tackled into the spinning doors and kept there by a man wearing a black cape
"How did you find this place, human?"
'Huh? human? oh I still have my human disguise up' Naruto thought in realization
"Answer me!" the man yelled showing his fangs
Naruto then smiled at this 'i smell a prank opportunity' he thought as he couldn't resist the opportunity to prank someone
Sue him he's part kitsune after all
"Name's Naruto and I was mountain climbing with some dudes when I heard about this spooky forest, just wanted to check it out then I found these guys on fire and followed them"
The man's eyes widened in shock at this "Holy rabies the fire!" he said as he realized his mistake "How many of you are there?" he asked Naruto
"Just me, kinda like traveling alone you tend to meet so many people going solo, fyi love the cape" Naruto said with a smile
"Come with me!" the man yelled as he grabbed Naruto and pushed him out of the door but paused as he saw more guests arriving
"Wow you have a lot of guests her- woah!" Naruto yelled as the man dragged him back inside with great speed into a back room
"Ok I have to find you a disguise then when it's clear I can get you out of here without anyone panicking" the man said as he looked through some boxes
The man then gagged as a sock of Naruto's fell out of the backpack "Gah the smell it's hideous!"
"Well I haven't showered in a week sorry about that" Naruto said as he took the sock back
Then he jumped hearing Naruto's phone vibrate "What is this? A torture device, you won't read my thoughts, I won't let you!"
"It's a phone and also music, see take a listen" Naruto said as he plugged in his ear phones and put them in the guys ears
He then started screaming "It's taking my soul!"
"Wow you must be old if your such a grump" Naruto said as he took his earphones back
"I am not a grump I am a vampire and this is my hotel for monsters" the man said
"Cool… what are you doing with that make up?" Naruto asked patting his pale cheek
"it is not makeup!" the man yelled
"Huh so vampires are that pale do you go bleh bleh bleh and suck blood too? Naruto asked with a smile
"Oh rabies another human stereotype, I don't drink human blood, it's so fatty and you never know where they have been, I use a blood substitute. And I do not go bleh bleh bleh now hold still so I can disguise you" the man said as he took Naruto's backpack off of him
"Oh that's OK I have a disguise I can use just hold on" Naruto said as he took his backpack and hid behind a changing curtain
Naruto smirked as he snapped his fingers and in a poof of blue fire he gained a pair of blonde kitsune ears which poked out of his hair along with a bushy blonde fox tail
He then came out from behind the curtain
"Huh, a kitsune disguise not bad, wow they look so real. What do you use?" The man asked as he pulled on Naruto's tail and ears
"They are from my home in Japan they make good stuff" Naruto said as he tried not to react to the man pulling in his ears and tail
"Truly" the man said as he let go of Naruto's tail making it hit the boy's butt
"So whats your name gramps?" Naruto asked curiously
"I am Dracula"
"Wait the Dracula?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow
"The very same" Dracula said with a prideful look
'Wow mom was right this guy is a stick in the mud' Naruto thought to himself remembering the stories from his mom
Naruto then yelped as Dracula pulled him out of the closet and the two headed for the door
Suddenly a small hunched back man came on the end of a rope "Bonjour Dracula"
"Not now Quasimodo" Dracula said
"Wait, the actual hunchback?" Naruto asked looking at the small man with a bewildered look
A rat jumped out of the man's hat and started smelling the air before Dracula put Naruto behind him before the rat squeaked
"What, don't be absurd that is not a human that is monsieur Dracula" Quasimodo said
Dracula laughed nervously before tossing the rat in the elevator when the hunchback wasn't looking
"Behold, the deviled lizard fingers" the hunchback said with a smile
This made Dracula stop laughing instantly
"Deviled lizard fingers, I asked for spleens in blankets" he said with a scowl
Naruto took this chance to sneak away from Dracula so he can take a look around the lobby
He soon saw a bunch of werewolf pups running past while destroying whatever was in their path
'Yeesh mom is right werewolfs are just as nuts as kitsunes as kids' Naruto thought with a smile
One of the werewolf pups who was sucking on a pacifier stopped and looked at Naruto in curiosity
"Hey little girl" Naruto said with a kind smile
The girl looked at him before kicking his leg and running off
"Gah, yeah you better run." Naruto said holding his leg in pain
"Winnie! we don't kick!" a female werewolf who looked pregnant said as she came down some stairs with what looked like a goth girl his own age with short black hair a black shirt skirt and black and red stockings she had large DD- cup breasts, a curvy model like body, and a nice large round plump ass
"Hey are you okay?" The goth girl said as she tripped on a step falling down in front of him
"That's my line right… now" Naruto said
Suddenly the two locked eyes and their eyes flashed pink
Then Dracula came between them opening his cape "Mavis, are you okay honeybat?"
"Yeah I'm fine dad."Mavis said rolling her eyes at her father being overprotective
"Dad?!" Naruto said as he poked his head around Dracula's cape
"Yea daughter of Dracula everyone is always surprised" Mavis said waving her hand dismissively "who's this dad?" she asked looking at her father
"Who is what?" Dracula asked as he tried to block Naruto from Mavis's view with his cape
"Really dad?" Mavis asked with a raised eyebrow
"Ah um well my blood orange I invited a monster your own age to be uh…a party planner"
"You're my own age?" Mavis asked with a smile at Naruto
"A what now?" Naruto asked Dracula with a raised eyebrow
Dracula grabbed Naruto and pulled him aside "Pretend you're a party planner or i'll drain you of your blood" he whispered harshly at Naruto
"Alright, alright geez."
"Ok sweetheart my and Naruto here are gonna go plan your party" Dracula said as he turned to Mavis
"Oh...well can we hang out later?" Mavis asked Naruto
"Uh… sure?" Naruto said
Mavis smiled at Naruto as Dracula dragged Naruto off
Naruto felt his heart skip a beat as he saw Mavis smile at him. 'What's going on with me?' he thought
Dracula threw Naruto into a room "Sit for a moment, there's a secret entrance in here I just need to remember which stone opens it" he said as he began to grab stones on the wall
"So what exactly is this place? Like an actual hotel for monsters?" Naruto asked
"Yes, a hotel for monsters, if you want to sum it up" Dracula said flatly
"Huh cool I'm gonna guess it's to keep you all safe from humans?" Naruto asked curiously
"Exactly and if my guest find out your a human then they will all crazy and my hotel will be ruined" Dracula said as he continued to look for a hidden entrance
"Have you even seen the outside world in the last century?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow as he did recall his mom's history lesson about how humans used to hunt monsters
"Why would I do that? Do you want me to be seen? Aha!" Dracula said finding the stone that opened the wall
Which showed a stone table with two bugs on it
"Ah I'm sorry, I'm a little lost, I know it's your honeymoon, go back to doing what you were doing." Dracula said as he closed the wall
"You don't know your own castle? Naruto asked as he followed Dracula deeper into the passageways
"I haven't had to use these passageways in at least a century. I made them to help us escape if a human ever found us."
"And you're showing it to a human?" Naruto asked with a small smirk
"Gah, gee, grr, the mouth on this." Dracula said as he growled "I have to get you out without Mavis seeing you" he said
"Oh yeah I had this weird feeling when me and her met" Naruto said
This made Dracula stop mid step "W-what feeling? he asked hoping it wasn't what he thought it was
"Like there wasn't anyone else but us it was just… wow" Naruto said with a smile
"GAH! my daughter has zinged with a human!" Dracula yelled as it echoed through the empty halls
"Zing? What's a zing?" Naruto asked
"Ugh, it's like our very own love at first sight" Dracula said as he rubbed his temples
Naruto blushed at this "Ohhhhh you mean my red thread" he said remembering what his mom told him
"Your huh?" Dracula asked in confusion
"It's the same as a zing but that's what it's called in Japan" Naruto said
"Ah yes my wife mentioned that Japanese monsters called their zings that… wait, how do you know it's called that?" Dracula asked
"well….what if I told you I was actually a kitsune and I was just messing with you the whole time? Naruto asked as he wagged his tail to show it was real
Dracula's eyes twitched before he opened a door at his feet and stuck his head in it as it glowed red before standing back up "You… have been a monster this whole time?!" he yelled
"Yup I'm a kitsune" Naruto said as he made some fox fire in his hand for emphasis
"I should devour your soul for putting me through this!" Dracula yelled
"Hey us kitsunes are pranksters you can't blame me for messing with you when you looked so panicked when you thought I was a human Naruto said with a smile
"Starting to see why kitsune are known as the walking headaches" Dracula said
"You think I'm bad? wait until you meet my mom….dad" Naruto said with a mischievous smirk
"Don't call me that" Dracula said as he whacked Naruto on the head with a rolled up newspaper
"Ow… where'd you find that?" Naruto asked
"Now… to find the way out of these tunnels" Dracula said
"This means I can stay?" Naruto asked
"Well you're a monster so despite my instincts telling me to throw you out yes you may stay but no pranks!" Dracula yelled out as he led the way
"Spoilsport" Naruto said with a slight pout
"Whatever, god why do you reek?" Dracula asked as he held his nose
"That's probably from all the ramen I eat." Naruto said
"What in the rabies is ramen?" Dracula asked curiously
"Oh it's a human dish and it's really good" Naruto said with a smile
"You eat human food?" Dracula asked surprised
"Hey food is food plus you would be surprised how good human food is " Naruto said
"I'll take your word for it" Dracula said as he finally found a hidden exit out of the pathways
Which led them into a room where what looked like a werewolf a mummy and reanimated corpses were fighting
"What's going on here?" Dracula asked as he walked into the room
Before Naruto could follow Mavis dropped down hanging upside-down in Naruto's face making him jump in surprise
"Whoa." Naruto thought as he looked into the vampire girls eyes
"Hey, I thought you were party planning." Mavis said as she dropped down to the floor
"We were but your dad got us lost in his tunnels" Naruto said
"Yeah he does that a lot." Mavis said with a smile showing her fangs
"I do not, I have excellent navigational skills." Dracula said
"Hey Drac who's the kitsune?" the werewolf asked
"Who this? This is Naruto, I uh, hired him to help with Mavis' party" the vampire said
"You, asked someone to help you?" The mummy asked
"Captain control freak?" The werewolf said
"It's count" Dracula said
"Well it is a special birthday and Drac here wanted to make it special right?" Naruto asked
"Uh exactly, after all my little blood orange is becoming 118" Dracula said
"118?!" Naruto said surprised
"Oh yea, kitsune's age different right?" the mummy asked
"Sorta." Naruto said keeping it simple
"Well Naruto meet my uncles Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin." Mavis said
Griffin? Naruto asked not seeing a fourth one
"Right here." a voice said
"Ah!" Naruto yelled seeing a floating pair of glasses
"Sorry I really should start clearing my throat before I talk." Griffin said
"So you're from Japan?" Frank asked curiously
"Yep." Naruto said with a nod
"Huh my wife said she has a cousin from Japan tsume I think" Wayne said
"Oh god I know her" Naruto said with a shudder
"She try tearing into you too? I mean holy rabies the attitude on that woman" Wayne said
"Yea her and my mom are best friends" Naruto said
"Geez, hey mr. party planner can we run something by you?" Murray asked
"No problem that's why I'm here sandman" Naruto said with a smile
Mavis chuckled at this while Murray pouted
"Okay, Mr. Control freak here was wanting these powder heads to play for Mavis' party, but we thought it'd be fun if we played for her like old times" Wayne said glancing at Zombie mozzart, Back and Beethoven
"Wait, the old man plays?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow at Dracula
"No. no I haven't sung in public for a century" Dracula said waving his hands and shaking his head
"Come on drac I'm sure Mavis would like to see-"
"I said no!" Dracula yelled before roaring at them making them blow back a little
"Nice pipes" Naruto groaned from the floor as he was sent to the floor since he wasn't ready for the force behind Dracula's roar
"What?!" Wayne yelled as he tried to fix his ear sense Dracula's roar hurt his hearing
"Whatever, since you guys say you play, let's hear it" Naruto said wanting to see how Mavis' uncles could play
"Sure kid let's show them how we used to play" Frank said with a smile at his friends
(10 minutes later)
Naruto watched them play and while it was a older style and he didn't exactly hate it he definitely knew this wouldn't work for the party
"Wait wait, you guys aren't bad but it's kinda old school" Naruto said as they stopped playing
"Thank you now-" Dracula said before he was interrupted
"You gotta liven things up a little" Naruto said
"Huh?" Dracula said as Naruto took to the stage and grabbed Murray's guitar
"Alright wolfie give me some music and glasses, give me a beat" Naruto said as he began to play the guitar like it was a electric
Naruto played a guitar riff like a pro which caused Dracula to cover his ears
Naruto soon stopped and smiled. "What do you think?" he asked
"That was horri-" Dracula was saying before he was interrupted
"That was incredible!" Mavis said with a excited smile
"This guy is going to make this the best. Birthday. Ever!" Frank yelled as he picked Naruto up
"Ah careful big guy I have a heights issue" Naruto said
"Huh sounds like mine and fire" Frank said putting Naruto down
"That include fox fire?" Naruto asked curiously
"Fox what now?" Frank asked
"Oh it's what we kitsunes use to make illusions mostly to prank people or cover a escape Naruto said as he made a very small blue fireball in his palm
"FIRE BAD!" Frank yelled as he tossed Naruto down and ran off
"Owwwww probably should have led with the fact that fox fire doesn't burn" Naruto groaned
"Yea that would have been a better idea" Mavis said as she helped Naruto up
"No way am I allowing that craziness at the party!" Dracula said
"Then what are you going to do?" Naruto asked
(5 minutes later)
Naruto groaned, feeling close to death of boredom as the monsters were playing bingo
"Bingo!" Eunice yelled before the goblin beside her ate her bingo card "Hey!"
"I didn't do that." The old goblin woman said
"Isn't this fun? Dracula asked Naruto
"No." Naruto said as he slammed his face on the desk
Then next came charades
Naruto could appreciate Griffin's want to help but being invisible made his charades impossible
Though the fly man upchucking on his hands did add some form of entertainment
Naruto grinned as he reached into his backpack and pulled out a orange scooter and took off on it while doing some tricks
This got the attention of some of the monsters who watched with interest
Naruto saw he was coming up on the tail of a sea monster and jumped to avoid it and ducked to avoid hitting the sea monsters body
Suddenly he was grabbed off his scooter by Dracula and watched the same goblin monster from earlier eat it
"I didn't do that."
"Uh miss can I have that back? that was a gift from my mom" Naruto asked
The goblin woman looked at Naruto before reaching inside her mouth and pulling the scooter out of her mouth covered In saliva
"…..thanks" Naruto said as he took it back
"Ew" Dracula said with a shudder
"Now who's up for the pool?" Frank asked
"You have a pool? Pool party!" Naruto yelled "
Dracula's eyes widened as he got trampled by the other monsters as they ran outside to go to the pool
(Outside at the pool)
Monsters were enjoying themselves as they ran and did cannonballs into the pool
"You been to the Taj Mahal?" Eunice asked Naruto
"No way, no monster ever been to the Taj" Murray said
"Oh sure I have been all over the world" Naruto said with a smile as he remembered some of the stuff he had seen
"Awesome, how'd you deal with the Mobs?" Mavis asked
"Well let me tell you it gets hectic in the summertime, but I find it better that you just roll with it."
"Ha, he just rolls." Wayne said
"Did you have problems with humans?
"That's the fun about kitsune's I tell you what, I met one, finest foxy mama you ever could see. I work my charm, right, and the lady puts me in a illusion, the next thing I know I'm in a hot tub filled with big jelly monsters" Murray said making everyone laugh
"Yea I'm able to use illusions to make humans think I'm human" Naruto said with a smile
"Does it really work?" Mavis asked with wide eyes
"Worked on your old man here" Naruto said with a laugh
"You pulled a prank on Drac?" Frank asked with a smile at Naruto
"Oh yea had him trying to sneak me out of the castle before I revealed I was a kitsune" Naruto said with a laugh
This got the group laughing again
"Yeah, yeah ha, ha, look sweet fangs I brought you a bagel, with your favorite, scream cheese." Dracula said
"Oh thanks dad Naruto you have to try this" Mavis said as she showed Naruto a bagel with what looked like cream cheese which screamed at him
"Sure thing, pfft, sweet fangs" Naruto said with a snort
"I'm sure your parents have embarrassing names for you too Mavis said as Naruto took the half of her bagel to eat
"Oh definitely, especially my mom. She used to call me the storm of her seas"
"huh?" Wayne asked with a tilt of his head
"My name means Maelstrom in english." Naruto said
"And also the name of a ramen topping." Dracula said with a knowing smile
Naruto groaned at this as they laughed
"How did you know that?" Mavis asked curiously
"A friend of your mothers taught me some japanese" Dracula said with a fond smile at the memory
"Why haven't I met this Friend? Mavis asked curiously
"Cause she's crazy and I would like my hotel still standing Dracula said with a shudder
"Oh you mean Kushina don't you?" Murray said with a smile
Naruto's eyes bulged as he somewhat spit his drink
"Monsieur Dracula I have the menus ready for your inspection" Quasimodo said as he ran over with some menus
Suddenly his rat Esmeralda popped up
"What Esmerelda you smell it again, hu–"
"You know what I think I should see how these go for the party" Naruto said quickly interrupting as he took a menu
"Oh yea as party planner you should take a look" Mavis said with a nod of agreement
Naruto looked at the menu and raised a eyebrow
"Well?" Quasimodo asked impatiently
Naruto turned and as he did he hit Esmerelda away with his tail "These are fine but these are more made for a fancy, boring dinner, you want to have things everyone will like. For one some scream cheese for this honey" He said pointing at Mavis
"Scream cheese." Quasimodo said as he wrote that down
"Actually I have been around the world and have tried all kinds of foods if your cooks are willing to learn I could-" Naruto was saying
"This human food?" Dracula asked remembering that Naruto didn't he had had human food
"Well yeah sure, like pizza" Naruto said
"Pizza? What is a pizza?" Quasimodo asked
"My hunchback friend prepare to have your culinary world expanded" Naruto said as he walked off with him
Mavis chuckled at this as she watched Naruto leave with a smile on her face
"Frank if you hurt yourself." Eunice said as she saw him up on the top of a big tentacle
"Relax honey, the Stein boys are made for this, CANNONBALL!" Frank yelled as he jumped
Frank landed in the water with a belly flop and fell to to pieces
"Ouch." Murray muttered
(With Naruto)
Naruto was in the kitchens with the cooks while he showed them the various recipes of the foods he knew
"You really like this ramen stuff don't you?" Quasimodo asked
"First human food I ever ate" Naruto said not noticing esmeralda sniffing at him before squeaking loudly
"What?! a half breed?!" Quasimodo yelled in surprise as he grabbed a kitchen knife
"... Fuck." Naruto muttered as he sighed and cracked his neck
(With Mavis)
Mavis was walking in the lobby sighing as she thought of Naruto before suddenly a package was thrown into the hotel sliding in
"Yo mom, dad, are we there yet?!" was heard from inside
"Hank?" Mavis said as she opened the box to find the bits of one Hank N. Stein, teenage son of her uncle Frank and Aunt Eunice
"Hey, Mavis, I arrived late didn't I? Did I miss the party?" Hank asked
"No, party hasn't happened yet" Mavis said smiling happy at seeing her friend
"I hate this travel by mail thing. I always arrive later than my parents" Hank said as he started putting himself together "Are the others here?"
"Wendy and Pedro are around here somewhere" Mavis said referring to Blobby Blob's daughter and their mummy best friend
"So what have I missed?" Hank asked putting his head on his body
"Well there's this awesome, cool… handsome kitsune planning my party for my dad" Mavis said with a sigh as she thought about Naruto
"Handsome? Well Mavis" Hank said teasingly
"Don't start if my dad found out…".Mavis said
"Yea Uncle Drac would definitely go rabid if he found out his Mavi was interested in a guy" Hank said
"Yeah don't know where he is though" Mavis said
"Well let's go find the others then so you can tell us about him" Hank said
"Good idea I miss hanging out with you" Mavis said with a smile as her and Hank walked up the stairs
Mavis then yelped as Dracula nearly ran her over
"Mavis what are you doing up, the sun is coming up soon it could hurt you my honey gut." Dracula said
"Couldn't sleep, have you seen Naruto?" Mavis asked
"No- why are you looking for him? Do you like him?" Dracula asked instantly turning around
"And that's my cue to leave" Hank said quickly ducking out of the hallway away from the vampires
"Sir we have a problem in the kitchen" One of the suits of armor said
"Not now!" Dracula said waving away the suit of armor
"It seems Quasimodo is trying to make soup out of –" the knight was saying before he was interrupted
Dracula zipped pass the knight making it's helmet spin 360
Mavis sighed at this relieved that her dad was distracted
(With Dracula)
Dracula finally made it to the Kitchen doors and held some yelling inside
He quickly opened the door and saw Naruto had Quasimodo tied up and gagged hanging over a stew pot with Naruto glaring at him with blood red eyes
"You call me that again and I'm gonna turn you into- Oh hey drac what's up? Naruto asked quickly turning back to normal
"Are you kidding me, one of the armors told me that he was making soup out of you."
"Yea me and him had a disagreement" Naruto said with a scowl
"He's a–" Quasimodo got gagged once more
"Are you kidding me, this is how you stop someone." Dracula said as he stared at Quasimodo who froze after glowing blue
"Well I considered gutting him like a pig but I figured doing that in a kitchen would be frowned upon" Naruto said with a evil grin at Quasimodo
"Ugh it's like dealing with Kushina again" Dracula grumbled to himself as he recalled his wife's friend saying things like this
"Wait, you ran straight here because I was in trouble, aw you care about me" Naruto said with a teasing smile
"Shut up" Dracula said with a huff
"Oh come on you could do worse for a son in law right?" Naruto said with a smile
"raggghhh!" Dracula roared at Naruto before he grabbed Naruto and dragged him into another room
"Real mature" Naruto said shaking his head at this
"Look, it's a lot to take in. First I had to make Mavis think humans are bad so she doesn't leave now I have you showing up and making my hotel a madhouse oh and let's not forget YOU ZINGED WITH MY DAUGHTER!" Dracula yelled in Naruto's face
"…..you lied to your daughter?" Naruto asked with a frown
"Oh rabies." Dracula muttered to himself
"Was that why those zombies were dressed as old school villagers? Naruto asked remembering how those burning zombies were dressed
"... ha, yes. It's just that I'm terrified, she wants to leave but what if something happens to her? I'd never forgive myself" Dracula said as he sat down
"Well I can understand that but take it from me humans are different now" Naruto said
"So you're saying if we were to come out we'd be accepted? By everyone?"
"... No, I don't think so" Naruto said as even he had to admit there'd be some that'd hate them
Dracula frowned at this
"But can you say the same about all monsters?" Naruto said
"What do you mean?" Dracula asked
"What if you met a monster that was half human but was an actual good guy? Would you want to kill him like you think all humans would want to kill monsters?
"I… wouldn't know how to handle that." Dracula said as he thought about this
"Whatever… is this your room?" Naruto asked
His focus was then turned to a large picture that had a beautiful blue eyed woman
"Woah I know her" Naruto said recognizing the woman
"How could you know her?" Dracula asked with a raised eyebrow
"A legend my mother told me, and a legend that was in a castle I visited in my travels, Lady Lubov" Naruto said
"A legend?" Dracula asked in wonder
"They say a lonely count met her by chance and no two souls were more meant for each other, they fell in love and settled in Castle Lubov, there they had a child but a tragedy happened one night a fire started killing them both. They say you can still feel their powerful love in the remains of that castle."
Dracula frowned at this and approached the picture
"... The legend is wrong… it was only… the wife that died" Dracula said as he took off the sheet covering the picture showing himself with the woman
"And it was no mistake who killed her… the humans!" Dracula said as his eyes glowed blue
"Oh Drac" Naruto muttered now seeing just why Dracula was so reserved about Mavis leaving… she was all he had left of his dead wife
"I built this hotel for her and Mavis, to protect her. As a father you do everything to protect your child… even if it must mean betraying their trust" Dracula said
Naruto sighed at this look "Drac I completely understand but lying to her isn't gonna work forever eventually she's gonna find out and do you really want her mad at you?" he asked
Dracula said nothing as he looked down
"Look let's just focus on the party" Naruto said as he patted Dracula's back
"Yes just focus on making the party the best it can be for Mavis" Dracula said
"No problem Hey I think I can get those hypno eyes down" Naruto said with a smile hoping to cheer Dracula up
"Oh boy, come on, hit me with your best shot." Dracula said with a small smile
"You are now under my power, I command you to act like the wolfman!" Naruto said imitating Dracula
"Awoooooooo, oh I have too many kids, oh and the fleas!" Dracula said with a laugh
Naruto laughed with Dracula as they both left the room
(Later)
We see Naruto prepping the party room after Dracula showed him how the tables worked, after the two had a little moment of goofing off as they flew around on the tables
"Oh come on you two I said to the left, my left, y- we have the same left… zombies" Naruto muttered as he rubbed his head
"Hey" Mavis said from behind Naruto making him jump in surprise
"Jeez you're good at stealth" Naruto said as he patted his chest
"You can thank my dad for that" Mavis said with a chuckle
"Remind me not to try hiding from him then" Naruto said as if she could make him jump he'd hate to see what Dracula could do
"Hey I want to show you something before the sun come up" Mavis said as she pulled on his sleeve
"Well i still have to-" Naruto was saying before he looked at Mavis
Mavis was making a pouty face and had wide eyes "Please" she asked
"God the irony, I do that face to my mom to get her to cave in" Naruto said before he nodded
One of the zombies laughed at this and made a whipping motion with his arm
Naruto grunted before he sent his tail at the zombies ladder knocking him down
(The roof)
Mavis and Naruto laid on the roof looking up at the stars
"I do this every night I love looking at the stars,it makes me feel like I'm not trapped here" Mavis said with a smile as she looked at the stars
"I know… exactly how that feels. When I was just a kit my mom was just like your dad" Naruto said
"That stinks." Mavis said as she turned her head to look at Naruto
"It wasn't until one night just like this that I really told her what I wanted, she smiled and held me and that's when we started our first family world adventure. You're in luck my favorite part of that night is about to happen" Naruto said as he got up
Before Mavis could respond she felt her foot sizzle a little and jumped back a little
Naruto looked at Mavis and saw that she was hiding in the shadows
"Oh dang I'm sorry here" Naruto said as he walked behind Mavis and moved her to behind a nearby tower where the shadow wouldn't disappear
"Now just watch" Naruto said with a smile as he held Mavis's shoulders
They saw the sun begin to rise over the mountains
Mavis's eyes widened in wonder as she saw the sun rise
Naruto smiled at this glad that Mavis liked watching the sun rise
Mavis then turned to look at Naruto and hugged him "Thank you for showing me this" she said
Naruto looked at her before blushing seeing how close they were before backing up
He then yelled as he fell through the roof landing in the sauna
"Oh cool! you have a hot spring in this place?" Naruto could be heard yelling from inside
Mavis chuckled at this before she went back inside the castle
Meanwhile Naruto looked at a flat faced Dracula as he landed on him and the others as they were in the sauna
"Actually kid it's a sauna here in the states" Wayne said with a chuckle at Naruto
"Hi." Naruto said chuckling
"What were you doing up on the roof?" Dracula asked
"Looking at the sunrise with Mav-."
"WHAT?!" Dracula roared at Naruto sending Naruto into a wall
"Don't worry I had her in the shadows, calm your fangs." Naruto said as he got back up
"Ah trying to get close with Mavis huh?" Frank asked with a smile
"Well actually she wanted to show me the stars." Naruto said
"Aw, how romantic." Griffin said
"Yea the young couple, did you zing yet?" Murray asked with a smile
Naruto and Dracula froze at this but said nothing
"Well we should really be getting into the party room and set it up." Dracula said pushing Naruto out of the room
"Yea I have some cool ideas I think Mavis will love" Naruto said with a smile
"Don't go too crazy" Dracula said with a slight frown
"Relax it's stuff even you will like" Naruto said with a smile
(the next night)
Mavis was in her room getting ready for the party tonight as she was trying to make her own cape which was difficult considering the string and needle were so small so she became a bat and it became easy
"Hey honey bat " Dracula said with a smile as he entered the room
"Hey dad, what do you think of my cape for the party?" Mavis asked as she spun in place to show it off
"Not bad, I have a present for you, you can open it after your party." Dracula said placing her present on her bed
"Thanks dad" Mavis said with a nod at him
Dracula looked at his daughter and smiled fondly as he thought of how much she has grown
(the party)
Naruto was at the party looking around at the assembled monsters who were enjoying the party as Frankenstein, Griffin, Murray and Wayne were playing with new techno music and new instruments
A blue mist went through the crowd before Mavis stood in front of him with her new cape
Naruto jumped in surprise at Mavis appearing In front of him so suddenly "Jeez you need to give me some tips I thought I was sneaky" he said with a chuckle
"Sorry, thanks for the party." Mavis said as she looked around
"You like my little touches, well check this." Naruto said as small lights formed in front of her before they became a airplane that flew around before more lights took the shapes of places Naruto had been too like the Taj Mahal, Paris, New York, Hawaii, Moscow etc
Mavis eyes widened in wonder at this as she looked at the images
"I heard you wanted to see the world and I thought you would like this, what do you think?" Naruto asked with a smile
Mavis smiled at this before she looked at Naruto with a look on her face that made Naruto nervous but not scared
'oh boy' Naruto thought as Mavis approached him
Meanwhile Dracula was walking around the party and smiled at the fact that his guests were actually having fun
'Looks like Naruto knows how to have fun after all' Dracula thought as he saw some of his guests dancing
"Uh sir?" a suit of armor said getting his attention before he pointed
He saw Mavis kissing Naruto who's eyes were open and wide
Dracula's eyes widened before he became a mist and got between them "What do you think you are doing?"
"Dad relax it was just a kiss." Mavis said
"No, you're not allowed to kiss." Dracula said
"Dad I'm not 84 anymore, I'm allowed to do things, I'm allowed to like people or go see the world again." Mavis said as she looked at the images of the places Naruto had been which where still above them
"What? But you did, you said you hated it" Dracula said in a panic
"Maybe I want to give the village another chance, you know kinda roll with it like Naruto does. Mavis said with a smile at Naruto
"No, no you can't go to the village again." Dracula said firmly
"Maybe Naruto could make them see that we could be friends." Mavis said
"No that's impossible" Dracula said
"How do you know maybe with some effort I could get them to see differently" Mavis said
"No, that won't make any difference!" Dracula yelled at his wits end
"Why not?" Mavis asked starting to get frustrated
"Because that village doesn't really exist!" Dracula said making everyone stop dancing and look at him even Frank and the others who stopped playing
"What do you mean doesn't exist?" Mavis asked
"What did you do?" Frank asked with a look of disapproval
"I… did what I had to do." he answered
"What do you mean, what you had to do?" Mavis asked giving him a look
Before anyone could respond the doors to the room opened and Quasimodo who was still frozen was wheeled in by esmeralda who flopped to the floor exhausted
Quasimodo tried to talk but nobody could understand him being frozen
"Hold it, I speak frozen." The fly man from earlier said as he flew by Eunice
Quasimodo yelled something which made the fly man pause in surprise
"What'd he say?" Eunice asked curiously
"He said that "Dracula has brought a human hybrid into ze hotel, he has a french accent." he said
Naruto froze at this and started to panic a bit as he started to remember things he tried to forget
'hey look! it's the half breed!' a child's voice yelled in Naruto's head
'lets beat him up and see if he bleeds like a human!' another yelled
Naruto began to back up as everyone was paying attention to him as when he got to the door Esmerelda closed the doors on him
"There is ze human hybrid." the fly man said pointing at Naruto
"What, that's Naruto, he's a kitsune." Frank said with a look of disbelief
Quasimodo yelled again which of course nobody could understand
"He is a half human!" The fly man said
"This guy's full of it." Wayne said shaking his head
"Actually… he's not wrong." Naruto said deciding to not lie
"What?!" Everyone said in shock
"My mom is a monster, my dad is a human." Naruto said
Everyone was silent before they started to scream and start to yell as they all ran out of the room
Mavis approached Naruto and looked at him "Is it true?" she asked
Naruto hesitated for a moment before he nodded
Mavis didn't hesitate and hugged Naruto tightly "I don't care if your half human you could be all human and I wouldn't care I love you" she said as she held him close
Naruto froze at this but smiled a little but before he could respond he looked at Dracula who was nearby and had a look of sadness
'if she's with me she may be hated by other monsters like I was as a kid' Naruto thought before he made a decision
Naruto's ears flopped as he sighed before vanishing in a poof of smoke
"Naruto, wait!" Mavis said but couldn't see where he went
She continued to look for him but couldn't find him and soon she started to cry and turned into a bat and left the room
"Mavis!" Dracula said giving chase
(hours later)
Soon Dracula found Mavis in her room looking out of her window with her makeup messed up from her tears
"Oh honey bat." Dracula said as he entered the room with a frown
"I looked at mom's present" Mavis said looking at a book that was beside her
Dracula picked it up and read it finding it was a story about himself and Martha falling in love
"I thought I did it, I thought we zinged… guess it was just me" Mavis said as she started to sob
"Ugh, this is all my fault. If I wasn't so worried about you…" Dracula closed the book with a determined look before becoming a bat and flew out the window
(in the lobby )
Dracula was heading for the lobby where everyone was trying to check out
"Everyone please!" Dracula yelled as he appeared in front of them
"Too late rat bat." Murray said
Dracula transformed behind the check in desk "Please you have to help me find Naruto."
"The hybrid, he could've killed us!" someone shouted
"I know I lied but Naruto is not dangerous. The truth is… the truth is I don't even know if humans are even bad anymore. "
A package on the checkout desk started to shake and soon opened to reveal Frank's head "Naruto was fun and he didn't act like he wanted to hurt anyone he said
"From what we saw you wanted him out Drac so why do you want him back?" Wayne asked
"He and Mavis… they zinged" Dracula said as he lowered his head
"They zinged?!" his friends said in surprise
"But I got in the way, I was so afraid of losing Mavis like I lost Martha that I couldn't just let her be"
Frank started to sob and start to short out
"Frank you're shorting out again" Eunice said to her husband
"I don't care! You only get one zing in your life!" Frank yelled as he sobbed
"Let's go get him back!" Wayne yelled as the other monsters all cheered in approval
Dracula, Wayne, Murray, Griffin and Frank ran through the crowd and headed for the automobile out front
"Alright where am I going?" Griffin asked at the wheel
"The human world, we must find Naruto before he's gone forever" Dracula said
"But what about the sun?" Murray asked as the sun was still behind some clouds
"I guess I'll just roll with it then" Dracula said as the car took off down the road
They soon lost Naruto's tracks but found a shirt
"Wow, that reeks." Dracula said before he held it to Wayne "Work your magic."
"You want me to- do you know how many dirty diapers have destroyed this thing? My sniffing tracking days are over, but I got an idea." Wayne said before he made a silent whistle
Then his children came running
"Ok you all- hey! no biting each other!" Wayne yelled at his kids
Some were all over Frank and Murray
"Sniff." Wayne said but they weren't smelling the shirt they were smelling his butt making him groan
"Do any of your kids still respect you?" Dracula asked flatly
"... Hmmm, Winnie, front and center!" Wayne said
The werepups froze in place as the pink shirted pup with a pacifier in her mouth walked through before they moved again once she was past them
"Ok princess do your thing" Wayne said as he held out Naruto's shirt to her which she took a deep sniff of
"He was here recently and is heading to the airport he's on a plane to Japan that leaves in 10 minutes oh and he said no to the ramen meal on the plane" Winnie said before she placed her pacifier back in her mouth
"Wow he must be upset if he said no to ramen" Griffin said sounding surprised
"We'll have to book it, now all of you back to your mother!" Dracula said before he jumped back in the car and they drove off
"Sheep!" Dracula yelled before Griffin drove past it making a shaky drop to the road on the side of a cliff before they ran into a whole herd of sheep on the road
"I got this" Wayne said as he got out of the car and moments later he got back in the car a smile on his face and the road clear
"That was sick man" Murray said
"Focus we need to get to Naruto" Dracula said as they entered a human village
As they entered they saw what looked like decorations in the shape of different kinds of monsters
"What the?" Frank said as the group of monsters looked around
They then see a man dressed like a vampire "Welcome to Transylvania, bleh, bleh bleh."
"What is all this?" Wayne asked
"You all new? this is the monster festival been going on every year for about 50ish years" a man dressed as Frankenstein said
this made the groups eyes widen in surprise
"They...like us?" Murray asked
"Apparently" Griffin said
"Uh… Hey you, which way to the airport?" Dracula asked another person dressed like him
"It's that way, fellow vampire but the road is blocked for the festival."
"Yea some sad kid left right when we blocked off the road" a man dressed as a werewolf said
"Gah we'll never get there in time." Dracula said with a scowl
"Then maybe you should have left an hour earlier, bleh, bleh, bleh."
"I do not say Bleh bleh bleh!" Dracula yelled after the man frustrated
"Guess we go by foot." Griffin said as they all got out of the car
As they all walked they continued to see more humans dressed as monster, even some mummies as one woman winked at Murray
"Hey…" Murray said with a chuckle
"Imagine if that guy knew he was talking to the real Drac, he'd probably run for the hills." Frank said
"Wait…..that's it! if we want to clear the way we need to reveal that we are real! Dracula said
"Scare humans? We haven't done that in centuries I don't know if I even have it in me anymore" Frank said as he made some weak growls
"ok let's move this along" Griffin said as he struck a match and held it in front of Frank
Frank then screamed before it turned into roars as he stomped over to the giant inflated Frankenstein and climbed up it then let out one massive roar
But instead of screams of terror he got cheers from them
"I'm trying to scare you, the real Frankenstein!" He yelled
"We know!"
"Yea we love monsters!"
"Can you sign my torch!"
"Ugh, listen before anything else, down there is the real Dracula"
"prove it" a man holding a coffee cup said
Dracula glared at the man who then smashed his own coffee cup on his head
"Go on" the Man said satisfied with this
"Drac's daughter's in love and he needs to get to the airport, but he can't get through this crowd!" Frank said
"Ah and he can't fly cause of the sun" a man said in realization
"Yes, thank you monster nerd, so people if you really are our friends, clear a way for the man!" Frank said
"We will do one better we will protect him from the sun so he can get moving" a man dressed as a vampire said as he nodded to his fellow vampires who all used there capes to make a path in shadows for Dracula which led into the forest
Dracula smiled as he ran under the capes listening to their cheers for him
he soon made it to the end of the forest and saw the airport
he used his vision and saw Naruto in his seat with a miserable look on his face as the plane he was on was about to take off
Dracula saw he was out of shade "I have no choice." He said as he ran out into the open towards the plane
as he ran he the plane took off and Dracula turned into a bat so he could keep up
Dracula started to burn and leave a trail of smoke as he flew but he didn't react as he continued to fly after the plane
He eventually caught up to it grabbing one of the landing gears "Ouch, ouch, ouch, okay, I can do this." he said before the gear began to go into the plane making him lose his own spot of shade
It also knocked him loose making him have to chase after the plane again, with all his force he eventually made it to Naruto's window
"Huh?" he said seeing Twilight on the screen in front of him "This is how we're represented unbelievable." he muttered
Naruto then scowled at the movie and looked at his window and blinked in surprise at seeing Dracula outside of his window
"Naruto! you don't have to leave!" Dracula yelled
"Huh? I can't hear you drac Naruto said pointing at his ears
"What, my hand's in a jack?"
Dracula then had a look of determination before he took off heading for the front of the plane
{Naruto you don't have to leave!} the pilot's voice said over the PA system
Naruto looked up at this slightly surprised before he realized what was going on
{it doesn't matter if your half blood everyone still likes you the same} the pilot's voice said
This got confused looks from the rest of the people
{My dear boy, I made a grave mistake coming between you and Mavis,, I couldn't ask for a better future son in law} the profits voice said
A woman then screamed as Dracula got to the window again spooking others
Naruto smiled as he looked at Dracula who also smiled
{Now if you will please take your seats we will be returning to Transylvania for refueling.}
This made many of the people groan
{Oh give me a break I'm burning up out here!}
(airport)
Naruto was Instantly leaving the airport and saw Dracula and the rest of his friends waiting at the forest
Naruto ran over and saw that Dracula was sunburned "Jeez if you saving me from the hunchback of stupidity didn't prove you liked me this definitely does" He said with a chuckle
"Never took you for the plane type" Frank said
"Yea normally I wouldn't but It was way too painful to be here so I wanted to get out of here"
"Well if you're gonna travel, first class is a way to go" Murray said
"I don't even know why I took a plane, I hate planes, I don't even like heights." Naruto said with a shudder
"Wait, big strong Naruto is afraid of heights?" Frank asked with a Chuckle
Naruto growled slightly before igniting a finger and held it in Frank's face making him shout and run off
"Still doesn't burn!" Naruto yelled after Frank with a bright smile
(Hotel Transylvania)
Mavis sat in her room holding her legs
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Dracula yelled as he slammed into her room smoking
"Dad?" Mavis said as she waved some of the smoke away
"Yes, I'm okay, just a little sunburnt." Dracula said as he walked through the smoke "Mavey, I thought the worst thing ever would be to see you go, now I see it is seeing you like this, I want you to live your life, the way you want to." he said holding her hands
"I don't know how to do that." Mavis said with a frown
Dracula then smiled "You know, your mother gave you her birthday present, it's time I give you mine." he said stepping back and held up a pink backpack
"Dad, I don't think I need that." Mavis said with a frown as the backpack reminded her of Naruto
"Oh it comes with a nice accessory." Dracula said as he turned the backpack around to show Naruto
"Hey mav- woah!" Naruto yelled as Mavis tackled him into a hug.
"How could you just leave like that?! Mavis yelled as she hugged Naruto tightly.
"Oh Mavis, you have no idea how it was for me growing up a half breed, the hate, the bullying, the ridicule. I just couldn't see you having to face that being with me… Also I was afraid Dracula would suck my soul out of my body." Naruto said with a sheepish smile.
"Dad!" Mavis yelled at her Dracula with a look of disapproval.
"Ha ha, I woul— alright yeah I would've"
"If it's because he's half human I swear il-" Mavis was saying before her father interrupted her
"Of course not Mavis I don't care at all it was more of a dad thing… go make your own paradise devilchop." Dracula said with a smile
"Hey… think we could try that kiss over?" Naruto asked
"I think we can."
As the two leaned close to kiss Dracula roared at them before stopping "Sorry, sorry, going to have to get used to that, you do your thing." he said as he left the room
Mavis rolled her eyes at thus and shook her head
"You think he's bad, wait until you meet my mom," Naruto said with a shudder.
"Oh she can't be that bad" Mavis said with a smile.

Inside a traditional Japanese home a woman with long red hair was watching TV while eating some plain rice this was Kushina Uzumaki
"Honey, we got a letter from Naruto!" a man with blonde hair said as he came into the room this was Minato Uzumaki
"Oh good, where did he visit on his travels this time?" Kushina asked with a smile
"Hotel Transylvania." Minato said as he held up a postcard with Dracula's castle on it
"Dracs hotel Huh? looks like he didn't hide it that well if Naruto found it" Kushina said with a chuckle
"Apparently he's found his red thread there and it's Dracula's daughter." Minato said as he read Naruto's letter
Kushina coughed out some of her rice and drink hearing this "My baby found his red thread?!" she yelled as a pair of red fox ears appeared on her head since in her excitement her illusion faltered
"Yes he sent a pic- honey why are you packing?" Minato asked seeing his wife already getting out the suitcases
"Me and you are heading for Transylvania. I want to meet my future daughter in law!" Kushina yelled with a look of pure joy on her face.

I hope you enjoyed the start of this new fic me and one of my co authors decided to do
we have been thinking up this one for a little bit
yea I know this kind of fic has been done but you know what this is mine and my friends take on it and I'm not apologizing for doing a fanfic with my co authors
Paring is just with Mavis which should be a no brainer but I figure I should say it anyway.
