Chapter 13
Sighing as she and Pea finally got to Lowee City, Blanc looked at the third person who had joined them along their way. "C-Sha..." She trailed off, her voice as cold as the snow on the ground as she looked at the brunette with rather impressive assets. 'Sheesh, she's almost as big as Thunder Tits.' It wasn't that Blanc hated women with large breasts, she just hated that Vert liked to tease her over her lack of boobs and that compared to the other CPUs she felt that she was lacking in that area. 'If they just grew even a cup size, I wouldn't mind so much.' It wasn't fair to her that Neptune could go from being as flat as she was to only a little smaller than Vert when the Planeptune CPU was in HDD. "Thank you for walking us back to the city."
C-Sha smiled at Blanc and reached up to stop her barrette from falling off of her head when a gust of wind burst through, making all three of them shiver slightly. "Hey, it's okay, Blanny."
"Stop calling me that." Blanc deadpanned.
"But Blanny's a cool name!" Pea cheered and Blanc sighed, twitching at the midget CPU that was going to replace her soon.
'Hard to get mad at her.' Blanc thought to herself and wondered if she should just find her sisters and see about retiring. 'Maybe I should call Histoire and ask about the procedure so that we can retire.'
After all, she had no desire to die and she recalled something about retired CPUs living in Lowee. 'Maybe we become human? It would be nice to just be able to read and live a normal life.'
"...HEY!" Pea suddenly yelled and Blanc found herself on her butt, blinking stupidly while flashing her white panties at everyone who looked at her. "You okay? You went really quiet."
"Just thinking about stuff, that's all." Blanc told her and got up, dusting herself off. 'Well, so long as I'm still acting CPU, I'll see about fixing up Lowee before turning it over to her.' After all, even if enough of Lowee's population had moved on from her, she would have a few people that still remembered and believed in her. 'I should be able to transform a few more times at least.'
"Well," C-Sha drew their attention. "If you don't want your life picked out for you, it's best to become a Hunter, they're mostly free to come and go as they please."
Pea frowned. "That's stupid!" Both C-Sha and Blanc found themselves nodding. "Who put that rule into place? Imma give 'em a good tackle!" One thing that Neptune had drilled into her head over the years was that her punches hurt far too much for the average person to handle and while Neptune or Noire or any of the other CPUs could take one of her punches, regular people couldn't.
Her tackles, however, were just fine, provided they didn't hit any human over the age of fifty.
C-Sha chuckled and ruffled Pea's hair, getting a dirty look from the blonde. "I agree with you, but that's the way it is around here."
Pea pouted and grumbled in annoyance as she crossed her arms and huffed in annoyance as she ignored what C-Sha and Blanc were talking about while her mind traveled back in time.
*Flash*
"Now, with your master defeated..." Noire smirked at the trembling aliens. "After what you had me do..." She narrowed her eyes in annoyance. "Taking over my Basilicom and making me work myself to the bone when you made me forget who I was?"
"Well, you CPUs don't suffer from the effects of time, it was perfect, so..." One of the aliens yelped as a chair hit her in the head.
"Thank you, Peashy." Noire nodded to Yellow Heart, who was glaring at the Mole People. "Now then, what would Plutia do?"
"Let us go and make us promise to never do it again?" The other alien said helpfully, gulping at the looks of disgust that Noire and Yellow Heart had on their faces. "Ah..."
Noire looked at Yellow Heart, who grinned like a savage. "I think we have a few years of frustration to work out."
"In more ways than one." Yellow Heart cracked her knuckles. "Using Pea and Neptuna and others for... Uh..." She blinked in confusion. "A long time like that! Let's make them pay, Nowa!"
"EEEEK!"
*End Flash*
Pea started giggling as she did punches and kicks. "Take that! And that! And some of that! Ha ha ha!"
Both Blanc and C-Sha sweat-dropped as they watched Pea move around while punching at invisible things. "Um... Pea..." C-Sha spoke up and when Pea wasn't responding, she grabbed some snow and rolled it into a ball before hitting Pea in the face, causing the blonde to cry out and blink through the snow mask. "Are you okay? You look like you were fighting someone."
Pea shook her head rapidly to get the snow off of her face and laughed. "Aha ha ha ha ha! You're funny, booby lady! That was fun! Pea was just remembering a bunch of bad monsters that she got to beat up when they hurt her."
Blanc and C-Sha looked at each other weirdly and then back at Pea and nodded. "Well, sadly, you can't become a hunter." C-Sha told Pea, who had a shocked expression on her face. "You're too young. If you were at least three or four years older, you could take the test."
"Boo!" Pea pouted as the three made their way towards the guild. "Wow!" Pea looked around as they got inside the guild. "This is nice and cozy!" It wasn't like the guild back home, where it was mostly just computer screens and holographic receptionists.
Personally, Pea liked this more human look much more than the more computerized and automatic systems of things back home. Considering that the guild worked independent of the Basilicom, there wasn't much Neptune, Plutia or any of the CPUs could do about it.
C-Sha chuckled, considering that there was a large, open fireplace that kept the entire first floor warm, she supposed it was rather cozy compared to some places in Gamindustri. "Anyway," she pointed at the receptionist, "that's where you go to get registered as a Hunter."
"Thanks." Blanc nodded and walked off.
"Ah, before you go, good luck, Blanny." C-Sha smiled.
"Yeah! Break a leg!" Pea cheered while raising her arm happily.
"I don't need luck." Blanc said with confidence. "But thanks regardless."
"Why don't you wait for Blanny?" C-Sha asked Pea, who looked at her in confusion. "I, uh, have something I need to take care of, okay?"
"Okay!" Pea smiled brightly at C-Sha. "Bye bye, boobie lady!"
"...My name's C-Sha though." C-Sha chuckled and walked out of the guild.
After she was gone, Pea's eyes gleamed as she looked at where C-Sha had just been. 'Something's wrong here. Neptuna told me that her Blanny was a good girl, why would she let Lowee turn bad?' If her one thousand years of being a CPU told her anything, it was that C-Sha knew more than she was letting on. Though she didn't know this version of Blanc, she seemed pretty honest. 'I'll have to keep a close eye on her too, is this Blanc really nice or does she have a bad temper too?'
Pea nodded to herself and ran out of the guild after C-Sha.

"This is..!" C-Sha gasped as she looked at the information that Azna=Leb gave her. "You can't be serious!"
"Oh, but I am." The redheaded man smiled at C-Sha. "The delusionary monsters... Eliminate the target there, or bring her to me, either way, I expect great things from you, C-Sha." He turned and walked away.
"...Blanny's the target?" C-Sha asked herself softly, almost unable to believe it. "What did Blanny do?"
"Maybe she hit him with her hammer?" A familiar voice from behind C-Sha had her yelling and jumping before she spun and took a defensive martial arts stance. "Wow! You're good!" Pea's eyes sparkled. "You remind me of that sage in the mountains Pea once trained with!"
"...How old are you?" C-Sha had to ask, the girl looked like she was five years old, but the talk of a sage and training made her question that.
Pea's smile somehow became mysterious, as though she knew and saw things that C-Sha could never dream of. In fact, when C-Sha looked at Pea's blue eyes, she was taken aback by the weight and pressure those eyes seemed to have, as though the little girl in front of her was far more than she seemed to be. "Old enough to know that was a bad man and boobie lady needs a big spanking!"
C-Sha chuckled nervously and knelt down to look Pea in the eyes. "Look, there are... Some really dangerous monsters, remember those rabbits?" Pea nodded. "They're what are known as delusionary monsters and I'm trying to find the source of them to stop them."
"Ah." Pea nodded at her and turned around with her arms spread and right leg fully extended. "But you know, boobie lady..." Pea looked back at her. "CPUs don't make monsters, you know that, right?"
C-Sha stared at Pea in utter shock. "...You know that Blanny's a CPU?" Pea nodded and she smiled softly. "Well, I'm glad that some people do. I was getting worried that I really screwed up the world." Pea had a confused look on her face. "Um, Pea, promise you won't tell Blanny, please? I'll tell her soon, but after we get her sisters back."
"Okay!" Pea grinned at C-Sha, who stood up fully and walked up to her, extending her hand and Pea took it as the two walked back to the guild.
"Hey, can you answer me something?" C-Sha asked and Pea looked at her. "...Just who are you, Pea?"
"Pea is Pea!" Pea smiled at her brightly. "And Blanny is Blanny and Boobie Lady needs a spanking!"
C-Sha sweat-dropped and chuckled nervously. "Well... Maybe." As they entered the guild to wait for the results of Blanc's test, she decided it wasn't worth it to worry about.

Elsewhere...
Sighing as she sat on a park bench, K-Sha put her elbows on her legs and used her hands to cup her chin. "Noire's so pretty, so nice, so kind, but she..." She let out a sigh of longing. "Her hair is so pretty, her eyes are like rubies, her legs, her thighs, her very tiny miniskirt and her..." She let out a small squeal and squirmed in place while rapidly stomping her feet and smiling like an idiot.
"You seem to liiiiike her..." A rather slow-sounding voice spoke up and K-Sha nodded.
"Uh huh, she's..." The black-haired school girl gasped as she realized someone was next to her. She turned to see a girl a little shorter than her with nearly crimson eyes, deep purple hair done in a braided ponytail, though her hair was very messy. She was wearing what looked like pajamas and slippers. "Um, who are you?"
The girl just smiled at her sleepily. "Me? Well..." She closed her eyes and pulled out a plushie of what looked like Noire, just with her in a different outfit than what K-Sha was used to seeing. "Here. For you."
K-Sha reached out and took it, smiling at the mysterious girl. "Thank you."
"But.." The girl had a sad look on her face. "Even if you love someone, that doesn't mean that they'll love you back." Her eyes were seemingly shining with sadness. "And even if she knows how you feel, she might do something that hurts you."
"Hurts me?" K-Sha asked and the girl nodded.
"Like taking everything from you." The girl sighed and shook her head. "Buuuuuuut..." She said softly and leaned in. "You should tell her how you feel, because, if you don't..." She pulled back and turned around to walk away. "Noire won't eeeeeeeever love you back." The girl stopped a few feet away as K-Sha looked at her in shock. "In fact... Noire might eeeeeven forget you exist."
"NO!" K-Sha yelled in fright. "That's right, if I don't tell Noire, then she won't know how I feel about her. I'll tell her as soon as..." Her eyes widened as a horrible thought occurred to her and she looked down while biting her thumb. "But what if that ruins what friendship we have? Oooooh! This is so hard!" She looked up at the girl who talked to her, only to find that she was gone. "What should I do?"
The thought of ruining her friendship with Noire was horrifying.
But the thought of Noire forgetting her or worse, hurting her somehow, was even worse. Nodding to herself, K-Sha stood up, clutching the plushie and running back to her shared room with Noire and Uni.
On top of a nearby building, Plutia looked at K-Sha with sad eyes. "Good luck..." She closed her eyes. "I hope your Noire is better than Neppy was." Tears fell out of her face as she realized something important. "...Why do I still love you, Neppy? Even now, after what you did to me."
I REALLY hate typing out how Plutia speaks. SOOO annoying.
