Chapter 24
"There she is!" Rom yelled as she saw Peashy laying on her stomach while a dome of black energy surrounded her. "Peashy!" She tried to run to the downed girl, but was stopped by Blanc. "But Blanc..!"
"Look at her." Blanc pointed out. "I don't know what that is, but I'm sure it's not healthy." Seeing Rom's distraught look, Blanc shook her head. "Don't worry, we're just going to be careful, okay?"
"Looks like we don't need to worry too much about that black stuff..." C-Sha pointed out as it seemingly sank into Peashy, who groaned while standing up and twitching. "Peashy?"
"You shouldn't have come." Peashy told them. "Right now, it's... Ngh..." She gripped her head. "Taking everything I have to hold this back."
"What's going on?" Blanc asked Peashy. "And why are you sounding normal?"
Peashy gave her a small grin as she swayed back and forth. "Hee hee, I got a brain chip implanted in me centuries ago. It makes me smarter in HDD, guess holding back this energy has caused it to activate when I'm in human form." The little girl suddenly laughed. "At least I only got my intelligence! If I got my..." Whatever she was about to say was cut off as her eyes went blank and a surge energy erupted from her as a black pillar of energy engulfed her.
"What's going..?" Ram asked, trailing off as the pillar dissipated and Peashy was in front of them, transformed into something... Weird. "That's not any HDD I've ever seen before."
"It must be because of that black energy." Blanc said as she took a step back. Peashy's body had gotten larger, her hands and feet looked like they had large cat paws, but the rest of her body was yellow with black stripes, complete with a long, pointed object on her butt.
"It's a big bee!" Rom pointed out as she looked at Peashy, who had compound eyes like a bee and was buzzing. "Scary.."
"Well, if she's like a bee, don't let her sting you, she'll die." C-Sha pointed out as Peashy floated up and opened her mouth, letting out a loud screech before dive-bombing them. "MOVE!" The four jumped out of the way as Peashy's claws tore into the platform and she spun around to face them as they stood up.
"Looks like we don't have a choice." Blanc muttered as she was engulfed in a white light and transformed. "Rom! Ram! Transform already!" Both of them protested and White Heart glared at her sisters. "Listen! I get it! I don't want to hurt Peashy either, but if we don't stop her, she'll do something she hates!"
"Blanny's right." C-Sha said as she focused on her power and was bathed in a golden light, her eyes turning gold and her barrette disappearing while two blue wings formed on her back and a blaster formed on her left hand. "She's your friend, right? And I'm sure that as a CPU, she doesn't want to be a danger to anyone else."
The twins looked at each other and nodded, transforming and pointing their staves at the transformed Peashy. "We'll save you, Peashy." White Sister Rom said. "Let's go, Ram."
"Right." White Sister Ram nodded and the two fired magical blasts at Peashy, who buzzed and dodged them, zipping side to side and at various angles up and down to avoid the magical attacks, as well as White Heart's axe and even C-Sha's diving kick.
"Dammit! She's too fast." White Heart growled as even her Gefahrlichtern attack missed.
"A bee's ability to fly, those eyes and cat's paws..." C-Sha muttered, "we need to slow her down somehow."
"Wait, if she's a bee, then she won't like it cold!" White Sister Ram said as her eyes lit up. "Rom! Blanc! Help me out!"
Peashy buzzed around, dodging around C-Sha, who was firing blasts at her and trying to keep her busy while the three CPUs were doing whatever they were planning. After a few moments Peashy opened her mouth up and fired a sticky, yellow substance out of her mouth, splashing C-Sha, drenching her and pinning her to the ground. "Blanny! If you have a plan, now's the time to do it!" C-Sha yelled out as she tried to get out of the sticky stuff, but found that it was hard to get out and the more she struggled the worse it seemed to become. Her eyes widened in fear as Peashy pointed her stinger at C-Sha's head and started to zip in. "HELP!"
Suddenly the air got cold, very, very cold as the wind and snow started to swirl around the area in front of C-Sha. As soon as Peashy's stinger got close to C-Sha's face, the transformed bee girl found herself encased in a big block of ice with her stinger stopping just short of poking C-Sha in the nose.
'Gee, cutting it close, kiddos?' C-Sha thought to herself, though she wasn't complaining about the rescue, even as more ice shards hit the large block of ice and blasted Peashy into the air and away from C-Sha.
"YAHHHH!" White Heart yelled as she slid down a snow slide that the twins had created, before launching herself off of a ramp at the end, before she did a flip and slammed her axe into Peashy's back, causing the bee girl to cry out in pain and her wings to shatter as she flopped onto the ground. "There!" She frowned as Peashy got up and shook herself off. "Damn, I had hoped that would be enough."
"One hit, really?" C-Sha asked as the White Sisters froze the sticky liquid and allowed her to shatter it to get up. "That seems unlikely, Blanny."
"Well, you can't blame a girl for hoping it would be over in one hit, can you?" White Heart groused as Peashy rolled over and let out a loud buzz and hiss before rushing forward as fast as she could, slamming into White Heart's stomach before the other CPU could react and knocking her onto her back while landing on her stomach as White Heart slammed into the ground and slid along the rough surface.
"Hee hee," Peashy buzzed, "riding on sunshine. Meoww~oww!"
"Are we sure she's a bee and not a cat?" White Sister Ram asked in confusion.
"Why not both?" White Sister Rom asked and her twin nodded and they fired magic blasts at Peashy, blasting her in the back and sending her tumbling off of White Heart. "Now... Comet crash!" Both Candidates lowered their magic staves as magical comets came out of the air and crashed down on Peashy, knocking her around as they rained down so hard that Peashy became obscured.
"Nice." C-Sha nodded as she jumped at Peashy while holding a large sword. "HAAA!"
Peashy looked up at C-Sha and grinned before jumping at her and doing a headbutt into the busty woman's stomach, which made C-Sha cry out in pain as she was knocked onto her back, her sword getting knocked away from her.
"C-Sha!" White Heart yelled and rushed at Peashy. "DAMN YOU!" The Lowee CPU yelled as she swung her axe at Peashy, who jumped over it and did a back-flip, kicking White Heart in the face and forcing her to stumble back. Peashy then created a magical circle under her feet and launched herself at White Heart, driving her head into White Heart's chest and sending the Lowee CPU flying off the edge. "GAH!"
Thankfully her wings kept her from falling and getting hurt, which would have been bad as there was no platform under them for hundreds of meters.
"Owwies!" Peashy whined and rubbed her head. "I forgot that Blanny doesn't have a nice soft chest! She's hard as a rock!"
White Heart twitched, her eyes glowing red. "What did you say, you little shit?!"
Peashy gave White Heart a dumb smile. "Sorry, Blanny! I meant your defense is super high, not that you're super flat. Every other CPU gets bigger boobs in HDD back home after all."
White Heart twitched and squeezed her axe. "...You know what? I don't care if you're a friend of theirs, I'm going to hurt you for that!" She yelled and rushed in, forcing Peashy's compound eyes to go white and blank as she turned and ran with her arms up while White Heart's axe slammed into the platform, cracking it. "GET BACK HERE!"
"HELP! NEPTUNA! PLOOT! BLANNY'S PISSED!"
C-Sha and the twins watched and sweat-dropped as Peashy ran away from White Heart while yelling. "Should we be worried?"
"Maybe?" White Sister Ram said nervously as Peashy jerked to the side, barely avoiding another swing by White Heart. "Blanc! Come on! I don't think Peashy meant it."
"Yeah..." White Sister Rom nodded. "I want to play with Peashy again, she was a lot of fun when we were doodling."
White Heart stopped trying to chase Peashy and turned to look at her sisters. "...Doodling..?" She asked, her voice strangely calm while looking at Rom in confusion.
"Uh huh." White Sister Rom nodded. "Peashy, C-Sha, Ram and me were doodling in those books you have and..." She took a step back as White Heart's eyes glowed and a firey aura erupted around her elder sister. "Uh..."
"THAT WAS MY MASTERPIECE, YOU LITTLE SHITS! I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!"
"Uh oh!" C-Sha sweat-dropped as White Heart started to stalk towards them. "Run away!"
"YIKES!" The twins yelped as White Heart chased after them.
Peashy watched as White Heart ran with her axe held high while chasing the other three. "Uh... What's going on, meow?" Normally if Blanc was angry about someone making fun of her chest, it took awhile to calm down. 'Then again, Blanny back home has bigger boobs than this Blanny does.'
Not far away, Stadia fought the urge to slap herself in the face and groan. 'Dammit, what is up with mom's friends being just as stupid and silly as she is?'
Sure, it was kind of funny, but it was also kind of annoying when the situation was so serious just a moment before. She sighed and hung her head. 'And why can't Ouya or I have that kind of life, huh?! Why do we have to be weapons?!' Biting her lower lip, she banged her hand on the platform as she tried to reign her envy in.
Back on the platform as White Heart chased her sisters and C-Sha, she smirked as she noticed how close they had gotten to Peashy before planting her foot and spinning once to slam her axe into Peashy, which hit her so hard that she went flying across the platform, where she bounced a couple of times before going still.
"...Did you kill her?" C-Sha asked as she walked towards the downed form of Peashy. She jumped back as Peashy forced herself to her feet. "Guess not."
"Rrrrrghnyaaaaaah!" Peashy yelled as she gripped her head and the black aura that was surrounding her suddenly started to evaporate, returning the young girl to normal.
White Heart and the others sighed in relief, realizing that they wouldn't have to fight anymore. "Alright, let's get Peashy and..." She trailed off and jumped away as several blasts rained down on them from above. "THE HELL?!"
"Sorry!" The group looked up as Rainbow Heart floated down next to Peashy and picked her up, cradling Peashy in her arms. "Can't let you take big sis with you."
"Big sis?" White Heart asked as she looked at the other CPU in confusion. "What do you..?"
Rainbow Heart smirked at her. "We're the daughters of Purple Heart, CPU of Planeptune. And just so you know, Peashy's her adopted daughter and I'm her flesh and blood, the name's Rainbow Heart like this." She nodded at their confusion. "I'd love to spend time and talk with mom's friends, but the longer I stay the more likely it is that I'll end up fighting you and I want to get big sis and get out of here. Later!" She took off, flying at a high speed that left White Heart grimacing as she realized she wouldn't catch up with them without wearing herself out.
"...This sucks." C-Sha muttered, summing up everyone's thoughts.
"Man!" Ram protested as she transformed back to normal. "I totally wanted Neptune to meet Peashy too!"
"The best we can do is tell Neptune what happened." White Heart said as she transformed back to her human form. "And ask her about Rainbow Heart."
The others nodded as they left the tower, hoping that Peashy would be okay.
Well, this stinks.
