Chapter 26
Plutia watched as this dimension's version of her friend and her little sister fought against a robot. "Hmm..." She could tell, even if they were weak due to shares being fairly low, that they would win no problem.
"Hey, auntie..." Ouya pointed to a control room not far from where she and Plutia were at. "There's that stupid lady."
"Okay!" Plutia nodded and the two made their way to where the lady was.
"And press." The lady smirked as she pressed a button. "That's a virus that we developed specifically to kill a CPU in the most painful way possible." The arrogance of someone who knew they had won was evident in her voice. "Oh, go ahead and hold your breath, that virus will seep into your skin and kill you anyway."
Plutia and Ouya watched as Black Sister knocked Black Heart out of the way before transforming back into her human form and falling to the ground.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" The woman laughed. "You can watch as your sister dies and then you can join her!" The woman laughed before blinking as she felt someone tapping her on her shoulder. "What?" She asked and turned around to see Plutia smiling at her sweetly. "Who are you?"
"My name's Plutia..." Her voice was totally neutral and Ouya, who was behind her, started to sweat and back up. "And, um... You seem like a bad person." Her smile didn't shrink in the slightest, but for some reason, the feeling of death was swarming over the room while Ouya fell on her butt and scooted backwards out of the room.
"And what does that matter to you?!" The lady gasped as she found herself sweating hard.
"Well... You want to kill a CPU, I can understand that." Plutia nodded at her. "I've had lots of people try to kill me before, some even did bad things like traps to get to me and it ended up hurting innocent people." Her smile faded and a truly angry look covered her face. "Even if she's a CPU, you tried to hurt a child..."
"She's a CPU Candidate!" The lady protested as Plutia held up a stuffed bunny rabbit doll. "...What's that?"
Plutia just giggled while making a fist and started punching the doll, causing the woman to cry out in pain as it felt like she was getting punched in the ribs by an Ancient Dragon. "I'm pretty good with dolls and voodoo curses."
"You had a lot of time to perfect them." Ouya muttered and saw K-Sha running over to check on Noire and Uni. "Oh good, I don't think anyone needs to see this."
Even if her aunt wasn't in HDD, Plutia's sadism was so legendary that Ouya only knew of a handful of beings that didn't get terrified at the thought of a totally angry Iris Heart. Even her mother tried to keep Plutia from getting really mad.
The only thing that was confusing Ouya was the fact that Plutia wasn't transforming. Though, when Plutia walked over to the Order Lady and pulled out a baseball bat of all things and smashed the woman's knees, she winced and decided that her aunt didn't need to transform if she was bringing out the baseball bat.

Meanwhile...
Noire held onto Uni as her younger sister's breathing was getting more and more shallow with each passing moment. "Uni... Uni..." Her eyes were tearing up as she saw her sister getting more and more pale by the moment. "Please... Please..."
"Noire..." K-Sha spoke up and looked conflicted. 'If Uni dies, then Noire won't look away, but...'
"I messed up with some of my family awhile ago and they disowned me." The voice of that Plutia girl echoed in her head. "I made mistakes and over-reacted to things. I wanted to make it up to them, but they never forgave me."
"...Even if Noire might forget me, I don't want to make a mistake that makes her sad." K-Sha said to herself and nodded as she pulled out some equipment. "Noire!" The teary-eyed Goddess looked at her in confusion. "Keep Uni awake for five, no, three minutes, please?"
"K-Sha..?" Noire asked in confusion. "What are you..?"
"Keep her awake! If she falls asleep, we'll lose her. I promise, I'll explain, just don't let her fall asleep!" K-Sha said as she jammed a needle into her arm and started to extract blood from her arm. "Years ago, I was injected with the virus that's affecting Uni right now. Because of that, I can use my blood to synthesize a serum to undo what she's going through."
Noire wanted to ask what was going on, she had so many questions, but decided to not ask questions and keep Uni awake. "K-Sha, I..."
There was a crash of glass and Noire, K-Sha and Uni could all hear the sounds of violence and suffering. "HELP ME!"
"STUPID! MEANIE! JERK! YOUR MOMMY DOESN'T LIKE YOU!"
There were several more sounds of violence as the Order Woman screamed in pain and everyone sweat-dropped, though Uni coughed weakly.
"Stay with me!" Noire told Uni and shook her younger sister as she saw Uni's eyes starting to close.
"I'm not..." Uni coughed and shuddered. "I... I..."
"Uni..." Noire could feel her eyes watering up again as she ignored the screams of pain and sounds of violence coming from the background. "Please..."
"I'm almost done." K-Sha said.
"SOMEONE HELP MURK!"
Noire sweat-dropped but decided to ignore it, her sister was more important at that moment. A few seconds later K-Sha had a light colored liquid in an injector. "That's..."
"The serum, yes." K-Sha nodded and put it on Uni's arm, injecting it into the girl, who panted and groaned. "It should work in a few moments, just give her some time."
Noire nodded and she could feel herself smiling as more tears welled up in her eyes as Uni panted and groaned while color came back to her face slowly. "Uni?"
"N...oire... I don't want to do any paperwork today, I don't feel good." Uni rasped out as she opened her eyes and smiled. "But I'm alive."
"Oh Uni!" Noire cried and hugged her sister tightly.
As she watched Noire cry over her sister, K-Sha felt more and more alone. '...I'm going to be left alone, won't I?'
"That's right." A voice in her head spoke up, one she didn't recognize. "Noire will leave you all alone and you'll end up like that Plutia girl, sad, alone and miserable."
"But..." K-Sha sniffled and felt her shoulders slumping. "...It was the right thing to do."
"And now Noire will never look at you, she has her sister, what does she need you for?"
K-Sha couldn't answer as she gripped her head and swayed back and forth. "No! No! NO!"
"K-Sha?" Noire asked, finally realizing that something was wrong with one of her few friends. "What's wrong?"
K-Sha looked at Noire, tears falling out of her eyes. "You're going to leave me, aren't you? You're going to ignore me for your sister! Just like how Plutia was ignored by the girl she loved!"
"Huh?" Noire and Uni both asked at the same time, trying to figure out who Plutia was.
"Yes, that's right, Noire loves Uni, she doesn't love me..." K-Sha said, trembling as she groaned and clutched her head while swaying side to side erratically. "I...Why did I save Uni then?!"
"K-Sha..." Noire took a step forward. "Please, calm down, it will be okay." She tried smiling when K-Sha looked at her, but her smile dropped when she saw K-Sha's desperate look on her face.
"I want..." K-Sha groaned. "No! I'm going to lose everything!"
"Lose everything?" Noire asked in confusion. "K-Sha, calm down, what do you mean?"
K-Sha looked at Noire with tears falling out of her eyes. "Please! Don't leave me alone! You can use me for anything! I'll do whatever you want!"
Noire looked at her with worried eyes and tried to smile. "Please, K-Sha, calm down, let's talk about this rationally." When it became evident that K-Sha was going to continue freaking out, Noire sighed. "Fine, I'll fight you." She transformed into her HDD state, shocking Uni.
"Noire?!"
"I don't know what's going on," Black Heart said as she narrowed her eyes at K-Sha, "but as your friend, I'm not going to let you suffer, K-Sha. Uni, can you fight?"
"I'm a bit tired, but I'll manage." Uni said as she readied her gun. "But are you sure about this?"
"It's no different than when you had to smack Nepgear out of her funk for a few months after Neptune disappeared." Black Heart told Uni, who nodded in understanding. "So we'll just smack her around until she calms down and then talk about things calmly."
"Fine." Uni nodded as K-Sha was bathed in a golden light and transformed. "Wait, she looks..."
"Don't worry about it, just go!" Black Heart yelled as she flew into the air while K-Sha gave her a stern look and fired several shots at Black Heart.
"I won't... I won't be left alone." K-Sha suddenly broke out into a fit of giggles. "Yes! That's what I need to do! Kill Uni and then Noire will always look at me." She grinned suddenly. "As the enemy who killed her little sister!"
Uni's eyes went white and blank. "WHAT?!"
"No you don't!" Black Heart yelled as she dove at K-Sha, who rolled to the side while Black Heart's blade hit the ground, erupting into flames. "You won't kill Uni!"

Looking down at the fight below, Ouya sighed softly. "...That girl reminds me of you, auntie." Ouya turned to see Plutia standing above the Order Lady, breathing hard. "Now..." Ouya walked over to the badly bruised and hurting woman and knelt down to smile at her. "Auntie's scary when she's mad." The woman gave her a horrified expression while trembling and clutching her busted knee. "But you'll be fine, right?"
"I only bruised her." Plutia answered Ouya. "Other than her knee, she's not broken anywhere."
"G-GET AWAY FROM ME!" The woman screamed in fear while Plutia just smiled at her. "Y-y-y-you're a monster!"
"Hmm..." Plutia thought about it and nodded. "Uh huh. I'm an evil bitch who doesn't even have the love of most of her children anymore." A look of longing crossed her face. "I'm a heartless CPU that torments her friends for fun and scares little children whenever I transform and you think I'm going to be nice to you."
"At least you didn't go HDD." Ouya said softly and looked at the woman, who was pale and sweaty. "So... Can you answer us why you wanted to kill the CPUs?"
The woman trembled as Plutia took a step forward and she tried to scoot back, finding it hard as her broken knee wasn't cooperating. "B-Because it was to prepare for war! Without the CPUs we could launch an invasion into the other nations!" Both Ouya and Plutia gave her a look of disgust. "The money we could make selling weapons to both sides of the conflict and the boost to the economy..."
"Pointless." Plutia whispered and the lady let out a small yelp of fright. "War is POINTLESS!" Plutia yelled and slammed the bat into the wall next to the woman's head, breaking it before she pointed the jagged parts of the bat at the woman's head, causing her to start trembling and staring in such fright that she actually relieved herself out of fear. "All it does is cause pain, suffering and death!" She sneered at the woman.
"I doubt that she cares about that, auntie." Ouya said as she tried to pull Plutia back. "But she cares about money, so..."
"But people go to die, then they aren't able to work and produce for the country." Plutia pointed out. "And it takes time to replace them. Plus it costs more money to go to war than wars make for the country."
Ouya nodded, knowing Plutia knew about that stuff. "I know, I know, but she's human and thus an idiot."
"Plus..." Plutia flicked her wrist, sending the other part of her broken bat to the ground. "The people of Gamindustri won't work for you. They love their CPUs, not worthless monsters like you." Plutia turned around and walked out of the room.
Ouya watched her go and turned to look at the woman, who was still trembling. "You know, you got off lucky." Ouya told her. "If auntie transformed, you would have been calling her your mistress and begging her to punish you when she was done with you." The gray haired girl gave the woman an unsettling smile. "Mommy would be nice and just put you in prison. Big sis would beat you up."
"...What about you?"
Ouya smiled at her and pulled out a knife. "I'm not nice like my mommy, auntie or big sister are."
"NO! NO NO NO NO!" The woman screamed and tried to stand up, only to find her knee giving out as she fell forward, smashing her head into the wall and falling to the floor, out cold.
"Oh dear, she fainted." Ouya said and sighed. "...Maybe I should have told her I was just going to humiliate her by cutting her clothes off and parade her around naked for everyone to see first?"
(-)
Black Heart let out a yell as she drove her foot into K-Sha, knocking her back so that Uni could take a shot to paralyze her. "Just calm down, K-Sha!" The only response she got was K-Sha laughing like a crazed woman and Black Heart sighed. "Very well..." She muttered to herself as she jumped back and landed in a three-point stance while sliding back. "Infinite Slash!"
Uni could only watch as Black Heart slammed into K-Sha over and over again, from many different angles before finishing the attack with a dive kick and snapping her fingers as several more hits struck K-Sha, sending her to the ground as her golden power faded. "Changed it up, huh?"
"I wasn't going to kill her." Black Heart answered and returned to her human form, panting and swaying slightly. "Hooo! Multiple fights in a row without any real time to rest is tiring."
"No kidding." Uni muttered, feeling exhaustion creep up on her as K-Sha shook her head and got up. "She's awake it seems."
"Noire? Uni?" K-Sha asked, looking around in confusion. "Where am I? What..?" She gasped as memories came back to her. "Oh no! I did a bad thing."
Noire shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Are you okay?"
K-Sha suddenly teared up and sniffled. "You're worrying about me? After I hurt you and tried to kill Uni? I... I don't deserve to be your friend. I'm so sorry! I know you can't ever forgive me, so... I'll disappear and you can forget about me and..."
"Calm down!" Noire interrupted K-Sha and walked up to the girl before giving her a hard flick on the forehead. "So you had a mental breakdown and tried to kill Uni and ended up hurting me, so what?"
"Huh?" K-Sha asked, surprised while rubbing her forehead. "What do you..?"
Noire sighed. "Look, I know someone who, well, not anymore, but she used to have me over and visit her place to play games every single day, we'd get into stupid, petty fights, she'd never apologize, sometimes she'd even yell at the rest of us to get out of the place and leave her alone, only to call us back the next day."
Both K-Sha and Uni sweat-dropped upon hearing that, though Uni had heard Noire complain about Neptune doing stuff like that until Neptune had disappeared.
"Really, the fact that you apologized already puts you ahead of her at the very least." Noire told K-Sha. "So..." She had a sad look on her face. "Don't think you're not important."
"But... I hurt you." K-Sha protested and looked down. "...What kind of friend hurts their friends?"
"Sometimes we hurt our friends in ways we don't mean to." Uni spoke up and K-Sha looked at her in confusion. "There's a girl that I'm really close with and there are times that we fought and I made her cry because I said something that I regretted later."
"And, I may not look like it," Noire spoke up, "but I'm really clingy, and I've already decided that you're my friend, so no more of this talk about disappearing or anything like that." Her eyes watered up as she looked at K-Sha. "Because it would be too sad if someone I thought of as a friend would disappear on me."
"...You mean it?" K-Sha asked Noire, who nodded. "I can still be your friend? Even after what I did?"
"Of course you can." Noire smiled at K-Sha. "And before you worry about hurting me, know that if you act like that again, I'll gladly come and smack some sense into you, okay?"
Uni's eyes went white and blank. 'Jeez, Noire! What kind of violent maniac are you?!'
"Um..." K-Sha fidgeted. "If... If it's okay with Uni, then..."
"Of course it is." Uni smiled at K-Sha. "I don't have many friends my age, so it would be nice to have another one. Besides, you saved my life, so I can't get mad at you for having a Yandere breakdown."
K-Sha sniffled and pulled out a gun. "But..." She pointed it at a large pillar and pulled the trigger. "There." Both Uni and Noire gasped as a golden crystal shattered. "I don't want to fight anymore. That was the source of my power."
"How nice." A new voice spoke up and the three gasped as they looked up to see a CPU they didn't recognize holding the Order Woman in her arms. "All you need to do is shatter a golden crystal and you don't have to fight." Her face was twitching as though she was fighting the urge to both sneer and cry at the same time. "My sister and I never got that opportunity, we're constantly being forced to fight." She threw the Order Woman at Noire, who caught her and crashed to the ground. The CPU turned and prepared to leave before looking back at K-Sha. "Don't underestimate how valuable being able to choose if you have to fight truly is." She suddenly flew off, stopping to pick up a purple-haired girl and then she took off.
"...Wasn't that one of Neptune's kids?" Uni asked.
K-Sha frowned in confusion. '...Why is Plutia with her? Wait, why did she come here?'
(-)
"Why didn't you fight Noire?" Plutia asked Gray Heart as they flew out of the Golden Tower with Gray Heart holding her up by her hands.
"It took everything I had to not fight her." Gray Heart answered Plutia. "If it was mom, I wouldn't have been able to resist."
Plutia nodded and sighed. "I wish you wouldn't fight Neppy."
"...So do I." Gray Heart answered her.
Both knew it wasn't possible though, not so long as Gray Heart could transform.
And that's the end of the four separate parts of the story. I know I focused on different parts more than others, but they'll soon meet up and questions can be answered.
