Chapter 2: Gray Clouds, begone!
Izaya walked with Captain Unohana to see Yumichika. He saw Captain Zakari, Yachiru, and Ikkaku waiting outside of squad four barracks. They gave Izaya a glare. Izaya frowned as he looked away, mouthing to them, 'I'm sorry.' He headed inside as he saw Yumichika. Yumichika had a light pastel blue gown on, an oxygen mask, and a respirator was on to check on his breathing. Izaya walked up to him and held onto his hand.
"Yumi, if you could hear me, please just listen to me. I'm sorry. I really am. I'm not trying to force you to be friends with Giselle, just be respectful of her. I understand what she did wasn't okay. But please….I can't lose you. Ikkaku can't lose you." Izaya said as he cried through his tears.
Yumichika slowly opened his eyes as he groaned and turned over to Izaya. He gave him a small smile. He then put his hand on Izaya's cheek.
"I can't speak much, but I'll think about it." Yumichika said to Izaya.
Izaya nodded at him. "Besides stress, what else is going on?" Izaya asked him.
"They don't know…..I felt my heart go crazy a bit." Yumichika explained.
Izaya looked at his friend as he decided to do a quick check up. He feels like Yumichika may have suffered a heart attack. Izaya went through each test to figure out what else had happened.
It's been one hour as the tests came back. It turns our Yumichika heart was punched and suffered a small heart attack. Izaya then realized he may have punched Yumichika twice on his heart. He cried as he walked up and hugged Yumichika.
"I'm so sorry, Yumi. I really am. I didn't mean to punch your heart." Izaya said.
Yumichika groaned as he opened his eyes and looked at Izaya. "Lieutenant Kuchiki, what are you talking about?"
"When I punched you, I punched your heart. You suffered a small heart attack." Izaya explained.
"Really? I mustn't have felt it. But- Nnnnngh. Izaya I'll be okay. I just have to take care of myself." Yumichika said to Izaya as he rubbed his hair.
Izaya looked up and nodded at him. Then a door knock was heard.
"Hey, it's my turn to see my man." Ikkaku said as he walked in.
"Yes of course. I'm sorry Ikkaku." Izaya said as he bowed to him and left the room.
Ikkaku raised an eyebrow as he shook his head and sat next to his lover.
"Hey, how are you, love?" Ikkaku asked Yumichika.
"I'm alright babe. Izaya feels extremely guilty about this." Yumichika said to Ikkaku.
"Well it's time for him to drop it. He can't make us see things the way he sees things. But I'm going to stay away from those femritters." Ikkaku said.
"Yes. I know babe. You know I can't talk much. I have to take it slow." Yumichika explained it to his lover.
"I know love. I'm sorry. I'm getting worked up again." Ikkaku said.
"Smoke some weed. It'll help." Yumichika said as he smiled at his lover.
"Yeah, I'll do that. But I wanna stay here for a little bit." Ikkaku said.
"Alright babe. But don't do anything funny to me." Yumichika said to him as he winked at Ikkaku.
"You can trust me, love." Ikkaku said as he held onto his lover's hand.
Izaya headed to the gates with Keigo as he sighed. "He's real;y hurt but I'll just leave him alone for a bit."
"I understand babe. But hey, I was wondering if we can come back here? They're having a birthday for Nemu and her dad I believe." Keigo said.
"Wait, really? I'll think about it, love." Izaya said as he and Keigo walked into the gates and headed back to the world of the living.
Ikkaku and Yumichika ended up falling asleep as Kenpachi and Yachiru headed back to their rooms to fall asleep.
"Kenny, I want things to be better for us." Yachiru said to her dad.
"I know. It'll take time though. I'm sure Izaya and Yumichika will be friends again. Just wait and see." Kenpachi said to her as he gave her a hug.
Yachiru smiled at him as she got tucked into bed and fell asleep with her plushies next to her. Kenpachi smiled as he turned off her light and headed to his own room.

Finally I am done with this! I can finally focus on the birthdays for next month & Renji's x Rukia's wedding fanfic!
