".. and now I have to go there and try my best!" Alfred ended his motivation speech to himself, while standing in his bathroom and looking into the mirror.

His smile fell. "That doesn't help at all, damn this youtube video."

He went to the fridge and took a sausage. "Like, I get it, if you tell yourself that it's gonna be alright then it might help, but what if I try to but still feel miserable after that?" He sighed, ate the sausage and plopped on the couch next to Arthur.

Arthur stretched and went up to him, caressing his face.

"How you doing, buddy?" he asked and a simple meow came from whiskers.

Alfred took him into his arms and pet him.

"You're the cutest," he smiled. "Sometimes I think that you understand me."

If only he knew that his cat in fact did understand him perfectly.

Alfred proceeded to hug him.

Arthur thought about how he actually enjoyed being a cat because he gets love and affection, although he wished he would receive such love as a human.

He thinks about Alfred and how happy he is to have and love the cat.

'I guess we're both lonely, huh?' Arthur wouldn't admit that he sees Alfred as his friend as well, especially in this wierd conditions.

Alfred tried to kiss the cat on the head but Arthur put his paw on Alfred's mouth.

"Hey, what are you doing?" he asked playfully and chuckled, "Don't you want a kiss?"

Yes, he wants to.

'No, I don't!'

You have no choice. Alfred plastered a big and long kiss on the cats head, and if Arthur hadn't had fur you would see him turning red as a tomato.

And in seconds, Arthur transformed back into a human. Sitting on Alfred's lap and looking shocked.

They stared for a moment, then Alfred screamed, pushed Arthur away and jumped over the couch to grab a baseball bat that layed somewhere on the floor.

Arthur fell on the floor but got up slowly, and looked over to Alfred who looked very confused and ready to fight.

"Who are you?! Where's my cat?!" demanded Alfred to know.

"Please calm down, it's me, I'm the cat."

"What! No. That's not possible!" Alfred knew that something like this wasn't physically possible but he also couldn't explain to himself why there was a guy in a dark green cloak standing in front of him instead of his cat.

"It is! You see, I'm a wizard," Arthur tried to explain.

"Yes, sure, and I'm superman!"

"I'm telling the truth!"

"Prove it then!"

Arthur looked around and saw a bottle of coke laying on the couch table. He stretched his hand towards it and it started floating in the air. He proceeded to let it float into Alfred's direction.

Alfred grabbed the bottle from mid air.

"Oh my God!"

"See? I transformed myself into a cat but didn't know how to get back, so I was stuck in a cats body for three months."

"Why would someone do that? What are you, a pervert?" Alfred looked shocked.

"What no! First of all, you were the one who brought me here, even if I protestet and tried to escape and second I was trapped and didn't know what to do!"

Alfred was silent and nodded in agreement. "Oh... right.. sorry for that I didn't knew.."

But then his eyes got big and he realized. "Oh God no. You saw me pooping!" He grabbed his head in embarrassment.

"I watched away, don't worry about that," Arthur soothed him.

"You saw me being wierd, and cringe and whiney!" He sank to the floor, letting his bat laying beside him.

"Yeah, but that's totally normal, don't fret yourself."

"Oh God!" He put his hands in front of his face.

There was an awkward silence and neither knew what to do next.

Arthur kneeled on the couch with one leg and leaned over to look at Alfred who's on the floor crouching. "Do you want me to leave?" He asked carefully.

Alfred looked up hesitant, trying to find the right words to say. "No, unless you have to be somewhere else."

"I'm not busy, no," he shrugged.

Alfred looked at him. "You wanna coffee?"

"I don't drink coffee and I know you don't have tea, so I'll take the orange juice you have."

"Ok." Alfred was surprised at first that he knew that, but Arthur was here the whole three months, of course he would know that.

They stood up and went to the kitchen where Alfred pured them two glasses of juice. They sat at the table to discuss the situation further.

"Soo... What's your name?" asked Alfred.

"Arthur"

"Cool, I'm Alfred," he said nervous.

"I know," he smirked.

"Right," Alfred cringed at himself. "You know, you look like your cat self, somehow," he proceeded to say.

"That does make sense," he smiled and looked at his glas.

"Yeah, you can turn yourself into a cat." He smiled a little then his eyes got wide again. "You're a WIZARD!"

"Yes, I've told you already, why are you only now surprised?" He looked up at him with a questionable expression.

"Well I was in shock, but now I am even more in shock! YOU'RE A WIZARD! who can move things and turn himself into a cat! Fuck! What else can you do?!" He asked very excited.

Arthur smiled. "A lot more things, but I'm not sure if I can tell you, it's actually supposed to be a secret. I only told you that, so you don't think I'm a lunatic or something."

"Oh, of course, I understand." He let out a laugh. "But saying that you're a wizard makes it sound even more like you're a lunatic."

"Does it?" Arthur asked amused.

"Yeah, and now I finally understand why you never ate cat food." Alfred seemed to feel a little more comfortable now.

"Yes, that's true. I'm not really a fan of it." They chuckled.

"So why did you turn into a cat again?" Alfred asked.

"It was a new spell I wanted to try but it went a bit wrong and I couldn't turn myself back."

"And do you know now? How to turn back I mean."

Arthur scratched his head. "Sadly no." He shrugged.

But they both knew that it was the kiss~ that broke the barrier.

'Don't be ridiculous. I wasn't even cursed,' said Arthur in his head to me.

Maybe you did cursed yourself unknowingly and the true loves kiss broke the curse.

'Oh shut up.'

"Oh.. But how did you do it then?" questioned Alfred.

"I have no idea, but I'm going to find it out." He was determinded to find it out or else he would fail at shapeshifting. And Arthur never failed in magic.

Alfred then looked at his phone as a message came. "Again this party..." He looked thoughtful for a second. "Would it be wierd to ask you if you want to go with me there?"

"I don't know if it would be wierd but... I would go with you."

"Cool! It's a date then!..." he said happy and blushed. "A date with my cat.."

"No no no, don't say that. I'm not your cat. I never was. Please remember that or else it will get wierd!"

"Yes, of course, sorry... Can you tell me more about yourself, please?" He said sweet and placed his head in his hands.

"Sure." Arthur smiled at him.

Tell him that you hear me!

'Definitely not.'

They went to the lecture rooms together and Arthur sat in the audience while Alfred and Emil presented their project. They did this in two different rooms. Arthur followed them both and Emil didn't questioned why Arthur was there.

It was interesting to hear what they said but in all honest, Arthur didn't understood a word they said.

'I did understood what they said, just not what they meant.'

It's the same thing.

When the last presentation was done they said farewell to Emil and went outside.

"You did great, really," said Arthur.

"You think? I thought I stumbled too much. I'll never be able to get my degree when I can't even speak."

"Of course you will, don't worry about it," he said confident.

Alfred smiled sweetly at him "Thanks."

They locked eyes and an idea came in Arthur's mind. "I can help you if you want to."

"Really? How?"

"There are spells which help with memories. You wouldn't forget a thing when you're going to learn. It helps a lot during the exams."

"Wow, dude, really? You would do that for me?" he asked and Arthur nodded. "You're the best!" Alfred hugged him.

Arthur blushed and hugged him back. Alfred was really cute when he was excited and Arthur can't help but to find him attractive, even after living with him in his messy apartment, and that says a lot.

'He's just a friend, that's all,' Arthur thought.

For now he might be a friend but who knows what happens next, maybe roomates?

Alfred let go of Arthur and his face was rosy and he smiled shyly. "D-do you want to watch a movie, maybe? Uhm.. after the party? Or maybe tomorrow?"

For all what I can see, I can tell you that this boy catches feelings very fast. You might want to try that too, huh Arthur?

Arthur smiled at Alfred, "Tomorrow sounds great." He took Alfred's hand and squeezed it. The boy blushed so red, I thought only Arthur could go all tomato.

It's great to see that Arthur wants to try it. At least he won't be a loner anymore.

They went to the party but didn't stayed long. And then tomorrow to the cinema where they shared popcorn together, but only because they were both low on cash.

They started to go out together more frequently but only in places where they don't have to spent a lot of money, and shared their first kiss together after some pigeons tried to attack Arthur. They never forget a face you know.

That's why you should never try your new magic spells on pigeons, even if nothing bad happens to them.

And just like that they spent the rest of their lives together.

'Really?' thought Arthur sceptical while sitting on the couch beside Alfred who had his head on Arthur's lap.

Maybe. It's a possibility. I don't see the future but it would be sweet, right?

'Right.' He smiled to himself and looked down at Alfred who then glanced at Arthur and shared a smile with him.
