Chapter 22: A Christmas Surprise

Many months later, after moving into their new house, the family was celebrating their first Christmas. Andy looked through the presents. "Which one can I open first?" He asked. "Let's let Molly open one." His mom suggested. Sarge peaked from behind one of the ornaments on the tree with his binoculars and signaled to his troops, who turned on the baby monitor.

"Frankincense, this is Myrrh. Come in, Frankincense." Sarge said through the monitor. Buzz and Hamm were listening from Andy's room. "Hey, heads up, everybody! It's showtime!" Hamm called to everyone as they were dancing. "Oh! It's time!" Rex said. Everyone stopped dancing and hustled towards the bed. Just then, Woody got tugged back by Bo by her crook. "Whoa! Bo! There's gotta be a less painful way to get my attention." Woody said. "Merry Christmas, Sherriff." Bo said, pointing her crook up. Woody looked up. "Say, isn't that mistletoe?" He asked. "Mm-hm!" Bo said, tossing her crook. Then she dipped Woody and started kissing him. The sheep giggled as they held the mistletoe. Even Harry snickered at the sight. Then Ginny walked up to him. "Merry Christmas, Harry." She said. "Merry Christmas, Ginny." Harry said. Then they moved in and kissed.

The toys and other heroes gathered by the bed. "Maybe Andy'll get another dinosaur. Like a leaf-eater." Rex said hopefully. "Why's that, Rex?" Kaz asked. "That way I could play the dominant predator." Rex joked. Everyone laughed at that. "Quiet, everyone! Quiet!" Buzz shouted. "Molly's first present is…Mrs. Potato Head. Repeat: A Mrs. Potato Head." Sarge revealed. Potato Head was surprised. His dream had come true. "Way to go, Idaho!" Hamm cheered. "Gee, I better shave!" Potato Head said, taking off his mustache and tossing it aside.

Woody then joined Buzz on the bed, his face covered in kiss marks and completely drunk from Bo's kissing. Buzz smiled slyly, knowing what happened. "Come in, Frankincense. Andy is now opening his first present." Sarge called in as Bo, Harry and Ginny joined the others. But then, static cut off the communication. Buzz banged the monitor. "Buzz. Buzz Lightyear, you are not worried, are you?" Woody asked. "Me? No, no. No, no, no, no." Buzz said. "**-a large box. It's- It's-" Sarge said, trying to get through. "Are you?" Buzz asked. "Now, Buzz, what could Andy possibly get that is worse than you?" Woody asked jokingly. "Oh! What is it? What is it?" Andy asked over the monitor. Just then, barking was heard. "Wow, a puppy!" Andy cried. Woody and Buzz looked at each other and laughed weakly.
