The island Grimmel had chosen to have the war on was big. It looked like a smaller version of Valka's sanctuary, but without the bewilderbeast ice and the island filled with dragons. It had snow and ice because of the season. It's high mountain with a flat suffers on top with platforms coming out, two smaller ones like a second level and on the first level, where the ground touches the sea, where a thin layer of snow and ice patches were here and there.

The two smaller platforms on the second level were on the left and right side in front of the island. Both of the platforms were going to have archers, ready to fire when the enemy was on their way on land. The platform that was in the middle on the ground by the sea, with its 20 meters width and 40 meters length, was the perfect way for the enemy to run straight to the opening into the mountain if it wasn't for the Berkians that would stay guard and fight until their deaths to keep the enemy out of the mountain.

The most interesting thing about the island was the inside. Whispering death holes ran from the middle entrance to a room. A room they named "the main room" and was as big as the great hall, but was more rounded than a rectangle. Two holes made corridors to two rooms. Named "the east room" and "the west room". The two rooms that would be held as medical rooms. Berk in the west and Barvik in the east.

Both the east and west had an entrance out to the sides of the island. The west, Berks, led straight out to sea, which was good because they could fly straight out of the island on dragons. While the west; Barviks had a platform on the first level. The platform wasn't as big as the one in the front, but it was as snowy and icy as the big one. Barvik was going to sail there with five boats, making sure the healers and helpers would come safty to land to be ready to help the future wounded. Barviks men and women would also be placed on the smaller platform to make sure Grimmels men wouldn't come in that way.

On top of the flat mountain, the dragons would be. Waiting for their alpha to tell them to attack.

A few small islands were here and there around the main island and a big one with its own mountain was not far out from the main island. But they didn't have any plans to use that island.

The strategies and plans were done. All they needed to do now was to start the war and see how it would turn out.

Either they win or they lose. Let the gods have mercy on them.

Barviks boats had left port before the first stray of sunlight and now they were close to the island of the war.

Vylma laid in her bed in her cabin on the biggest boat and stared at the ceiling. Her fingers itched to jump on Brie and fly the rest of the way, but she couldn't. Grimmel couldn't see her yet, not dressed like herself. She had a plan on how she would relieve who she was and hopefully she could get a hit or two on him before she flew high in the sky and declared the war to begin.

Berk's chief had apparently not let Toothless go, because Grimmel hadn't told her not to come sailing to the island of the war. She was of course relieved that he hadn't done it, but he hadn't come after her yesterday to tell her that he was wrong and he was sorry for not thinking about her position in this war and it hurt. Vylma didn't want to speak with him yesterday but she was waiting for him. The hours went by and by nightfall, she had fallen asleep, dreaming about her father waking her up and saying sorry to her. It didn't happen and now she was going to meet him after disowni
