That evening, Leah, Shimmer, and Shine were in a free room in the girls' dorm which Headmaster Grimm was giving them the use of.

"And there we go, the room is secured," said Shimmer after granting a wish that put up a barrier around the room to keep people other than the three of them out.

"Good, I don't trust that Headmaster or the Royals," said Leah as she sat the book down on the nightstand next to her bed.

"Do you honestly think one of them would try to steal the book from us?" asked Shine.

"We're trying to break the rules of their society, so I expect a few to go against us," said Leah.

"At least we got all the Rebels to sign on the first day," said Shimmer.

"Yeah, but there were only fifty-seven of them, that leaves forty-four signatures that we still need," said Leah.

"All which have to come from the people we're sure won't sign," said Shine.

"Then we have to find a way to get them to change their minds," said Shimmer.

"That's why I'm making one more wish before we go to bed, and we'll use it starting tomorrow morning," said Leah with a smile. Meanwhile, in Apple and Raven's room.

"I can't believe you actually signed that book!" said Apple who was standing between her half of the room and Raven's as the witch sat at her vanity combing her hair.

"I already told you why I did it, Apple, because I'm sick of this whole destiny thing," said Raven while looking at the blonde's reflection in the mirror.

"But what about everyone who is actually happy with their destinies?!" asked Apple.

"They can still follow them but without someone who never wanted to be part of it being there!" said Raven as she slammed the comb down on the desk while standing to face the princess who was taken by surprise with the witch's sudden outburst.

"Why am I even wasting my time by talking to you?" asked the witch as she shook her head with a frustrated expression after a few seconds of silence.

"What are you doing?" asked Apple as she watched the witch go to her closet.

"I'm going to spend the night in Cerise and Cedar's room," said Raven as she grabbed a bag.

"And if you really feel the way you do about my choice then I suggest finding a new roommate," said Raven before leaving, slamming the door behind her.

"Why am I always making things worse with her?!" asked Apple while messing with her hair out of frustration.
