That evening after classes had ended, Apple was on a stroll in the Enchanted Forest so she could think everything over from that day.

"How can so many people be alright with this?" thought the princess as she watched the trail ahead of head.

"They're actually okay with going against their destinies even though others dislike them for it, how can they be so… brave?" she thought while stopping in place and looking down at her hands. Suddenly, she heard voices coming from in front of her.

"Come on, Raven, you can do it," said Cerise as Apple moved to the tree line where she noticed Raven standing with a purple flame in her hands and the hooded girl at a distance sitting on a boulder.

"I… I can't," said Raven before a spark shot out from her hands, nearly hitting Cerise who had managed to dodge by jumping off the boulder near seconds before the spark made contact.

"It's too much," the witch said as she fell to her knees while breathing heavily from the strain using her magic caused on her body.

"Okay, you need to take a break for now so try again tomorrow," said Cerise.

"I only have a month left to create the ring for Maddie so she can propose to Kitty, if I don't make it in time then they have to break up," said Raven while struggling to stand.

"It is a weird tradition to have your BFFA create your engagement ring," said Cerise. She had walked over and was helping to support Raven while heading to the forest.

"But I'm sure you'll get it," she said.

"Not as long as my magic is betraying me, it's why I want my own destiny, that way I don't have to worry about it anymore," said Raven. The two girls then walked into the forest right as a gust of wind came through. Apple was down wind, so Cerise did not pick up on her scent, but the princess did get an eye full of Cerise's ears as the half wolf girl's hood fell off her head.

"Hexed wind," said Cerise as she hurriedly pulled the hood back on.

"I don't believe it," thought Apple while leaning against the tree she had been hiding behind with a shocked expression.
