"Cerise's ears, they looked like Professor Badwolfs," said Apple while sitting down as she was too shocked to move away from her hiding spot.
"That hexplains a lot actually," she said with a smile as she thought back to all of Cerise's moments where her wolf side took control. However, that smile soon faded away as realization took over the blonde's mind.
"But that would mean Ramona is her sister and… they can't go through with their destinies!" said Apple while jumping up to her feet.
"And why do you care?" asked a voice from nowhere.
"Who… who said that?!" asked Apple as she stood up while looking around.
"I did," said another Apple who appeared before her from thin air. The difference being that this Apple was wearing her royal dress and holding a large scepter.
"You're the me I saw in the vision on Legacy Day," said Apple.
"Only I wasn't a vision, but your future self," said the other Apple.
"And there's no changing your future, just like there is no changing Raven's or anyone else's, they will follow their destinies," said the other Apple.
"No… no that's not true," said Apple as her hands shook.
"Oh, but it is, and once this stunt of theirs fails, the nice Raven will be replaced with the one she was meant to be," said the other Apple as she leaned into Apple's ear.
"The Evil Queen who will poison you," she said in a low whisper.
"I won't let that happen!" said Apple while stepping back away from her older version.
"And how do you plan to change her destiny when you're afraid to do the same for yourself?" asked the other Apple with an evil grin. As Apple was facing this inner conflict, Leah, Shimmer, and Shine were sitting on a tree branch above her.
"I get that we wanted her to see Cerise's ears so she would realize that someone was born against destiny," said Shine.
"But are you sure it was alright to use a wish to make her confront her fear, couldn't this just scare her into accepting that nothing can change?" asked Shimmer.
"It may be a little extreme, but this is the only way to make her realize her own truth," said Leah
"So, it's to help set in the fact that destiny can be your own?" asked Shine.
"That, and we need her to realize that her love is not wrong and worth fighting for," said Leah while watching the blonde princess running off back towards the school.
