The next morning in the castleteria, Headmaster Grimm had approached Leah after no student had for several minutes.

"Breakfast is almost over, Miss. Leah, so it appears you were wrong in thinking that you could get the last signature," said Headmaster Grimm.

"That's because she just made it here," said Leah as she heard the door open along with a few shocked gasps.

"Excuse me, Headmaster Grimm, I need to talk with Leah," came Apple's voice from behind him. When the Grimm turned around, he was stunned to see that Apple's hair had been cut from the neck down. In fact, her hair was now a blunt bob cut with short bangs.

"M… Miss. White, what happened to your hair?" asked a shocked Headmaster Grimm.

"I cut it last night, thought it was time for some changes," said Apple as she walked past him and right up to Leah.

"Here to sign?" asked Leah as she held the book and a pen out to the princess with a kind smile.

"I am," said Apple while returning the smile

"Apple!" said Daring as he stood from his seat.

"You can't seriously be about to sign away your destiny, can you?!" he asked with a rage filled expression.

"I've been struggling with whether forcing people into a life they don't want is right or not for a while now," said Apple while looking at the pen in her hand.

"And last night I realized that it's not right at all and needs to end now," she said while signing the page. The next thing anyone knew, a pulse wave left the book while it glowed before disintegrating into white magical particles.

"Whoa," said Cerise as the particles flew around the room and to everyone who also started to glow for just a second.

"Does… does this mean we're free?" asked Ashlynn while looking at her hands before over to Hunter. The room then grew quiet as Headmaster Grimm laughed uncontrollably.

"Oh, I don't like the sound of that laugh," said Raven with a worried expression.
