Kate Vs Mono

Ep4 S1

"Okay, I see that I shouldn't go easy on you." Kate said.

Mono froze for a moment after hearing Kate's words. To Mono Kate sounded like Mother. Mono took a step back ever so slightly but Kate took notice of that.

"Scared, huh? You should know I'll be taking you to my dad. He'll have some questions for you." Kate taunted him.

Wait Kate don't! Let me talk to him we can do this without having to fight." Humphrey pleaded. "Sorry Yumiza, but your friend here wants a fight. I'll just have to beat her then I can talk to you." Momo said looking at Humphrey. "Lily! Go find dad and bring him here!" Kate yelled.

Lily looked at Kate then Humphrey then towards Mono. Lily knew this was going to be bad so she ran to fight their dad like Kate wanted. Humphrey watched as Lily left.

Dammit, Kate only if you didn't attack him. Humphrey thought.

Far in the distance is the wolf stalking Humphrey. The looked down at the display hoping Humphrey would join in the fight.

"Come kid, do it! I wanna see what I'm up against when I challenge you." The wolf spoke looking on with bloodlust in his eyes.

Mono and Kate had the ultimate stare down. Both of them want to see if the other would make a move. Humphrey looked at both Kate and Mono, he need to stop them and fast. Just as Humphrey was about to think of a plan Kate had dashed forward with great speed to take Mono down. Mono didn't move from his spot standing there waiting for Kate to reach him.

Kate only a foot away from Mono released a small spark of fire from her paw aiming for Mono. Mono looked at the small fire ball coming at him. Mono took a deep breath and spoke one word.

"Kakinaosu."

In a instance Kate was back where she started and the fire ball was gone. Humphrey and Kate was utterly confused. Kate's attack should've hit Mono but he was perfectly fine. Kate was getting pissed, two of her attacks failed! She wasn't about to lose in her own pack.

Humphrey looked at Mono, who was looking back at Humphrey. The two exchanged looks then Kate spoke out.

"Hey pay attention! This next one is for sure going to hit you!" Kate exclaimed.

With that Kate conjuring two fire balls she throw one and add more fire to the second one making it bigger before throwing it. Mono look at the two balls of fire and spoke the one word again.

"Kakinaosu."

Just like before Kate was still at her starting point and the fires balls were gone. Kate looked closer at Mono, she was beginning to wonder what Kakinaosu meant she never heard of the that spell. Humphrey on the other hand knew what Kakinaosu meant. Mono was rewriting reality canceling out Kate's attack. Mono made Humphrey's Curiosity stronger.

Kate made three clones and each one spread out surrounding Mono. Kate was going catch him no matter what.

Lily was rounding the corner heading to the Pack Leader Office to tell her dad the wolf that escape the medical center was fight Kate. Lily ran into someone, she stood back to look who she ran into. It was Hutch.

"Lily what's the rush, did you forget something?" Hutch asked looking concerned. "Mono the wolf that escaped medical center is in the woods fighting Kate!" Lily said.

Lily knew Hutch would be able to do something and which he did. Without skipping a beat, Hutch gathered up five alphas and the all head to the north side of the pack in the direction of woods. Lily hoped that everything would die down.

Kate and her clones charged with each one of them using a different element. The attack looked like it would work but Mono just teleported to a nearby tree. Kate's clones jumped up towards Mono each one using a different attack. Mono dodged the assault and stab one of the clones. The Kate came flying behind Mono, punching him sending him cracking into tree in front of him.

Yes I hit him! Kate thought, she got overly excited

Mono fazed through the tree to escape but one of Kate's clones chased after smashing a hole in the tree. The clone shot lightning at Mono, but Mono had grabbed and redirected to the clone with the lightning hit and destroying the clone. The last clone closing in the space between her and Mono created a staff out of ice. The staff had a sharp blade and the top end and the clone tried to cut and stab Mono. Mono grab the staff and broke it sending the sharp end to the clone thus killing the clone.

Kate used the fire ball trick again, but creating a dragon head the fire shooting out of it made the two small fire balls bigger and more immense. Mono opened his mouth and said Kakinaosu and everything that happened was erased leaving Kate and Mono back to their starting points.

So he rewriting the whole fight that's what Kakinaosu means. Kate thought.

Kate was exhausted trying TaiJutsu and magic wasn't working. She figured out what Kakinaosu meant but couldn't find away around it.

Kate wasn't all that experience in real combat. Humphrey felt bad cause he knew losing to Mono is crushing Kate's pride.

Humphrey walked over to Kate, placing his paw on her shoulder, he pulled her back behind him to face Mono. Kate looked at Humphrey then looked at the ground. She knew she was beaten, all she could do now see if Humphrey could win.

"I'll fight you Mono, I won't forgive anyone who hurts my friends physically or mentally." Humphrey stated.

Humphrey raised his paw then made pulling motion like he was grabbing something. While he did that Mono was suddenly was pulled towards Humphrey. Humphrey had made a clone the dash towards Mono as he was pulled closer into Humphrey's attack range. Mono opened his mouth and said Kakinaosu, but Humphrey knew Mono would do that so he said Kakinaosu a nanosecond after Mono canceling Mono's rewrite and keeping Humphrey's which let Humphrey continue the assault.

Humphrey using a small amount a power not wanting to kill him slam punched Mono into the ground. The force of the punch was minimal but it was enough to break the ground beneath them. Kate and Humphrey leaped away with Kate landing on a nearby tree branch and Humphrey landing a few feet away from the shattered ground.

Mono got up looking at Humphrey, amazed at how much power Humphrey possessed.

Whitney was right about Yumiza he is just as strong as The Creator. Mono thought.

Humphrey needed to trap Mono take him away somewhere else so that pack doesn't lock him up; so Humphrey can get all the information from him.

Kate jumped down to join Humphrey's side to help him. She looked at him and could sense a small amount of leadership. Humphrey was going to lead them victory.

"Humphrey I'll…..I'll assist you." Kate said looking at him. "Okay, I'll be able to stop him you just attack and counter him." Humphrey looking forward.

Mono just looked at Humphrey and Kate. Mono was in awe at how Humphrey was going to fight to protect his friend.

Yumiza I don't want to fight you. Mono thought.

Hutch and the alphas were getting closer to the woods. Hutch had sent two alphas to go get Winston just in case things got bad. Winston is the only one who could stop Mono.
