Chapter. 2: The city of the beginning. Apotos, the city of the mills!
Apotos (Day) - Sonic Unleashed [OST]
Our picturesque group of protagonists arrive at a slightly less picturesque port city located in a coastal region with a beautiful view over the ocean. Robin sees a sign at the entrance that says "Apotos"
Robin: Apotos ... I guess that's the name of this city.
Sanji appears next to Robin with a heart in his eye.
Sanji: As always, pay attention to all the details, Robin-chwan! On the other hand...
Sonic, Luffy and Ruby appear wrapped in a cloud of dust.
Sanji: Do you want to stop embarrassing others, you rubber idiot!?
Sonic: I won, just admit it.
Ruby: Of that nothing, I won!
Luffy: Don't talk nonsense, I won!
The three separate, looking at each other and sparking.
Blake: Guys, what difference does it make? The three of you are very fast.
Nami: Of course... Anyway, let's see if I have found out: you are a kind of law enforcement officer or something similar, right?

Sonic, Luffy and Ruby are stopped by an angry Nami.
Nami: Enough is enough! We're not supposed to fight here!

Sonic began to despair when he realized something important.
Sonic: Where are the Chaos Emeralds?!
Nami then starts to get nervous; those black emeralds were very pretty. They couldn't be the ones that fell from the sky, she thought. But...
Brook: Oh Sonic-san, Nami-san found seven black jewels before...
Before she can continue, Nami kicks her in the teeth.
Nami: Shut up!
Sonic: Nami... They are very important.
Nami saddened, returns the emeralds to Sonic.
Sonic: Thanks...
Franky: Don't worry, she's always like this.
Ruby: Hey, what are the Chaos Emeralds?
Weiss: For once, you're right. A moment ago you turned pale.
Sonic: And it's not for less: the Chaos Emeralds have mystical properties with abilities of great power, such as having unlimited energy.
WBY, Chopper, Usopp and Nami: Power?

The creature hovers near Sonic, Ruby, and Luffy.

Robin: He, he. Sorry, Hedgehog-san, after seeing the Mink, you seem normal to us.
Sonic: No problem! Hey, where are our friend and Ruby?
Franky: Come on, Chopper isn't here either.
Yang: Ha ha! I that you looked towards there.
The group turns their eyes to a nearby ice cream stand and there they find the little boy, Ruby and Chopper, dazzled by the ice cream.
Ice Cream Maker: Looks good, don´t it? That there Chocolate Chipped Cream Sundae Supreme is the pride of this city!
The entire world may collapse, but they will still line up to prove it.
Sonic: EHH! What about your memories?
Weiss: We are not on vacation!
Blake, Weiss and Nami were going to follow, but they couldn't cope with Chooper's happy face.
WB and Nami: How cute...
Then everyone had one of those ice creams, while Ruby listened to one of Usopp's "legends".
?: Mmmm-mmm. This chip-whatever stuff is great! Yang: Yup, this is "ice creamlicius"
The group groans at Yang's horrible pun, minus one.
Luffy: Ha ha ha! How funny!
Yang: At last someone laughs at my word games!
Weiss: How can you laugh at that?
Sonic: If you say so ... how about giving me a hand and looking for someone who knows you, Chip?
?: Chip?
Sonic: We have to call you somehow. What you think?
?: Yeah, Chip, Chip! I love it! Yum!
Luffy: Shishishi! Looks Good!
Yang: I like it.
Zoro: Now what if we stop wasting time and start looking for someone who knows him?
Chip: O-Okay.
Yang: How armed.
Sanji: Don't listen to him, Yang-swan. Marimo is stupid.
Zoro: What are you saying, Curly Eyebrows?!
After preventing those two from hitting each other, they discover the entrance phase.
Nami: Nice views! At least if we are trapped in this world, it is beautiful.
Franky: So, Sonic, you say you are the hero of this world.
Luffy: What? You are a hero?!
Sonic: Heh, of course. I have spent my whole life saving the world and having adventures without equal.
RY: How lucky you are!
Luffy: You have to join my crew, decided!
Sonic: I can't. He would leave this world at the mercy of an evil scientist. His name is Eggman.
Franky: What?! That's super funky!
Luffy: Ooooh...

Blake: And now...
Sonic starts running with Ruby and Luffy very close.
Zoro: And there they go. Let's make sure we DO NOT misplace them!
All: Yes!
Weiss invokes his glyphs to carry Usopp, Franky, Zoro, and Chopper, while Nami invokes...
Nami: Come to me, Zeus!
From his staff comes a cloud with eyes, nose, and mouth; and the only item he has is a cap.
Zeus: Yes, Nami? Have you called me?
Yang: Is that cloud talking?
Nami: Easy Yang. He is a powerful helper.
Weiss: That's weird...
Usopp: And the one who invokes platforms from nothing says it!
Robin: Ara, did you eat the Devil Fruits?
Yang: What...? Devil Fruits? I don't know what you're talking about, they are our Semblance.
Zoro: What difference does it make right now? If we don't hurry, they will escape us!
Sanji: For once Moss Head is right. Ruby-chwan, your knight is already here!
Sanji begins to walk across the sky towards the trio of leaders, eyes on heart.
Sonic and Luffy go through the city destroying Eggman's robots with fists, while Ruby supports them by cutting and shooting.
Luffy: Awesome! That thing is so cool!
Ruby: Thanks. It is also a sniper rifle!
Luffy: Huh?
Sonic: It is also a weapon.
Luffy: Ah, okay.
Yang hits a group with his Ember Celica, while Zoro smirks.
Zoro: I think it's time to cut.
Zoro takes his white sword and puts it in his mouth. Weiss skewers a small group of robots with Myrtenaster when he watches.
Weiss: What do you do with three swords?
Zoro: Santoryu Ogi: Sanzen Sekai!
Zoro starts spinning his two swords out of his hands quickly in circles, then runs towards the enemy while continuing to swing the swords, and ends up cutting with a horizontal cut of the sword he had in his mouth and two diagonal cuts with which he had the hands that stop spinning.
Yang: Cool.
Sanji: Ha, that's nothing.
Sanji sees that Blake uses Cambol Shround to launch the machines above and sees his opportunity to destroy them.
Sanji: Look at me, Blake-swan! Damn toasters ... Collier Shoot!
Sanji leaps into the air and kicks up against his opponent's neck.
Sanji: Diable Jambe: Flambage Shot!
In the air Sanji hits the opponent's head with the Diable Jambe's leg, thus increasing power and throwing him down with great force and causing the opponent to rotate until it crashes to the ground.
Blake: It was impressive.
Weiss uses Gravity Dust to crush the robots, while Robin reads a book without worry.
Weiss: Robin, get out of there!
Robin: Don't worry, I have it under control.
Robin sees the deadly machines, she crosses her arms and suddenly, arms start to come out in all the robots.
Weiss: But what the hell?
Robin: Thirty Fleur: Clutch.
It sprouts thirty hands to the rivals and twists them until leaving them out of action.
Robin: Calmer now, miss heiress?
Weiss: I-I guess ...
Robin: I hope they don't catch you and beat you to death.
Robin speaks with a smile, making Weiss tremble with fear.
Weiss: "It's scary ... It's very scary."
Franky: Ha, I can't let everyone have fun without me.
Franky sees the robots and smiles.
Franky: Heh, I admit that whoever did it did nothing wrong, but it doesn't even reach the sole of my shoes. Look at the body of a whole man! Fraaaaaaanky Radicaaaaaal Beeeeeeaaaaam!
Franky puts his arms together and launches a powerful laser beam.
Franky: SUUUUUPEEEEERRRR!
Franky celebrates his victory by doing his signature pose.
Blake: They are not human. They are definitely not human.
Nami: Don't worry, they are monsters, but they are the best companions anyone can have.
Nami's confidence impressed Blake, who still had doubts about teaching them his Faun heritage.
Nami: Look! Thunderbolt Tempo!
After creating a cloud with the Cool Balls and Heat Balls, Nami with a simple movement of the Climate-Cact produces thunder, causing Zeus to eat it, charging it with electricity.
Nami: Zeus Tempo!
Zeus gets angry and unleashes a very powerful lightning bolt destroying everything.
Zeus: Mmmmmmm. How rich are these clouds!
Blake: Are you sure you're human?
Sonic looks at everyone and whistles impressed.
Sonic: Not bad, guys. Not bad at all.
Ruby: Thanks, you don't do it wrong either.
Luffy: Shishishi! You are strong too! But I will not lose!
Sonic: Hehe. We'll see.
Ruby: Boys, robots at 12.
Sonic: Well it's only 11:30!
Sonic begins to bounce off the walls as Luffy smiles, ready to attack.
Luffy: Gomu-Gomu no... Whip!
Luffy stretches his leg and sweeps all the robots at once. Ruby cuts them at great speed, until a group tries to take her by surprise, but she does not realize it.
Luffy and Sonic: Ruby, watch out!
Ruby doesn't notice in time, when they are going to crush her...
Luffy: Sonic!
Sonic: Got it.
Sonic begins with his Homing Attack and Luffy jumps to the sky to finish off.
Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Bazooka!
Luffy stretches his arms back and lets them carry forward at high speed to make enemies fly with the palms of their hands.
Ruby: Thanks guys. I wouldn't have counted it.
Luffy: We are friends.
Sonic: Right. But you have...
Before Sonic will say anything else, Yang suddenly appears, hugging her.
Ruby: Y-Yang...
Yang: Don't go crazy again!
Ruby: I-I'm sorry. What is that?
Ruby sees a very large Ring with a red star.
Sonic: It's the goal.
Nami: Thank goodness!
Then, back in Apotos...
The fourteen return to town, while it was getting dark.
Chip: Hmm ... We still can't find anyone who knows me.
Ruby: Don't worry.
Zoro: The girl is right.
Sonic: Maybe your memories come back on their own. Do you remember something already?
Chip: Mmmm...
Everyone is waiting with Chip, until...
Chip: No.
They all fall comically, while Sonic had a drop on his head.
Sonic: Oh well...
All: And why are you trying?!
The streetlights come on and Sonic begins to change.
Chip: Sonic?
Nami: What's going on, Sonic?
Chopper: Easy, I'll take care of it!
Sonic wraps himself in a species called purple and transforms into the Werehog.
Sanji: It's that thing!
Yang: Ruby, step aside!
Zoro: Oi, Luffy! Back off!
Luffy and Ruby: Ehhh?
Both are trapped inside the flame, not knowing what would happen to them.
