Chapter 6: Lost in the night savanna! Gaia Manuscripts and the history of Dark Gaia!
The group and Tashigi headed for Mazuri, while on deck at the Sunny, Zoro and Pyrrha train.
Zoro: You are very good, girl.
Pyrrha: Thank you, it is an honor. That style of Santoryu is interesting.
Meanwhile, Blake went to Jimbei to find out how they were doing.
Jimbei: Oh Blake-san. We will arrive in Mazuri at nightfall.
Blake: Thanks. Why didn't you come to Spagonia with us?

Weiss attacks several Rex, while Luffy takes the Egg Fighter with a shield and hits it several times to destroy it. Tashigi sees quite strange enemies: they resemble a single flower Dandelion. They have cyan and blue colored leaves and flower stems with pink carnation spots, and pink carnation florets. Tashigi, unsure, decides to use the Kenbunshoku Haki.

With a quick movement, the captain cuts the Evil Flowers with only one cut.

They both stretch to reach each other.
Devil Rose: Take it easy I will go along the Paronamic route.
As the rest move through the rooftops, Devil Rose encounters a bunch of dark creatures and smiles psychopathically.
Devil Rose: Hehehe ... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! LET THE MASSACRE BEGIN!
With insane joy, he begins to cut Rex and the robots, from which oil splatters, like blood. Devil Rose was dancing ghoulishly over her fallen enemies, as the oil on her face fell slowly.
Devil Rose: Hahahaha! This is incredible, with this form...!
Sonic and the rest were watching her, scared.
Blake: Wow...
Jaune: What a relief that Yang doesn't see her sister like that.
DN Luffy: Yahoo! It is very strong. I want to fight her!

Tashigi: Sure, there is no problem.
Upon infiltrating, they reach a room with a "cell" on the ceiling. In it was an older man with gray hair and bushy eyebrows. He wore an outfit consisting of a brown suit, a white shirt, a red bow tie, and dark brown shoes.
Tails: Professor Pickle! It's okay? We came as fast as we could!
Tails and Chip fly towards him, while Tashigi and Weiss follow them in the glyphs.
Tashigi: Umm ... Professor?

Sonic: Let's get out of here before Eggman's welcome committee shows up.
Devil Rose: And from his pirate partner.
Weiss: It pains me to admit it, but she's right.
Nami: "A pirate partner?"
Prof. Pickle: Oh yes. True. But lets us be sure to collect the contents of that vault before departing.
Sonic: Luffy.
Luffy: Got it! Gum-Gum no ... Nightmare Pistol!
Nami: Why did you add "Nightmare" to your technique?
DN Luffy: Because I am a night monster.
Sonic and Luffy throw their fists towards the vault, when Devil Rose finishes off by cutting through the door. The three collide the five, while Tails, takes some scrolls and gives them to the Professor.
Prof. Pickle: Ah, thanks. These documents are our only hope of surviving this crisis. Come on, there is no time to lose. I´m half-starved after being fed nothing but those terrible sandwiches!
Chip: Do you want chocolate, Professor?
Prof. Pickle: My, my! You don't mind if I do!
The rest shrug and escape. Already in Spagonia everyone was informed of the mission in Mazuri.
Gaia Manuscripts - Sonic Unleashed [OST]
Prof. Pickle: These documents are known as the Gaia Manuscripts. They tell the legend of a disaster befall our planet some ten of thousands of years ago.
Robin: A disaster?
Prof. Pickle: Correct. And according to the Gaia Manuscripts, this is not the first time the planet has been broken apart into pieces.
All: Ahhh!
Robin: Fascinating.
The Professor drinks some tea and continues with his story.
Prof. Pickle: The cause lies in the very core of the planet. All the phenomena that we witnessed are the direct result of one creature—the hyper energy organism spawned at the planet´s core, Dark Gaia.
Nami: It's what you told us, isn't it Sonic?
Sonic: Yep.
Usopp: This is a nightmare, it's a nightmare ...
Brook: I'm so surprised my eyes pop out. Well, that would be if I had them. Yohohoho!
Weiss: Sounds like a god of destruction or something.
Blake: This is beyond us.
Tails: So how we can stop this Dark Gaia and put the world back together?

The planet´s power will restore the Chaos Emeralds, and in turn the Chaos Emeralds will restore the planet and help it heal it naturally.
Nami: That's great, but... This is beyond me! It's worse than Big Mom!
Zoro: I'm with her, the Four Emperors are nothing compared to this.
Jimbei: The truth is that it seems like a difficult issue...
Weiss: It is true. I doubt even the Wyvern are anything against such a monster.
