Devil Rose and DN Luffy are looking for Sonic, who looked like he was gone. While DN Luffy used the Gomu-Gomu no Rocket to find him, Devil Rose searches for him among the people on the streets. At last in one of the alleys, they find him sitting in a chair.
Devil Rose: There it is!
DN Luffy: Sonic, you're here!
Sonic: Oh it's you two.
Devil Rose: Don't you scare us like that again!
DN Luffy: You are right, surely people, once this is over, they will love you again. I mean, you're a super hero!
DN Luffy and Devil Rose feared that they worsen Sonic's mood, but...
Sonic: Thank you both.
Sonic rises from the chair, smiling.
Sonic: Sorry to have worried you.
DN Luffy: Shishishi!
Devil Rose: Thank goodness.
The three smile, until a memory comes to Devil Rose's head.

Sonic and Devil Rose listened with a lot of attention, while smiling a little, just as they understood Luffy's admiration for Ace. Then they notice a detail.

Devil Rose: Ah, the Navy headquarters! Talk to Tashigi shortly after the Professor's rescue.
DN Luffy: And there ... Akainu killed him.
Luffy's voice when he said that name was of pure hatred, something not normal in him. Both Sonic and Devil Rose were afraid of that tone of voice.
DN Luffy: He went through it with his own hands, but the worst thing is that he made fun of him before he died.
Sonic and Devil Rose: Mmm?
DN Luffy: Laughed at his adoptive father, Whitebeard. And that was his death sentence.
Devil Rose felt terrible for making Luffy have to tell what happened to Ace. But Luffy smiles.
DN Luffy: But I know that he did what he wanted and will always support me. Also, there is Sabo. For a long time, I thought he died, but I met him recently! And it has the power of Ace!
Sonic: Was your brother a Devil Fruit user?

Sonic: No, Luffy, it's not like Franky. It made them slaves of metal, without life or personality. They were just tools.
DN Luffy seriously regretted saying that.
DN Luffy: Oi, sorry! I believed...
Sonic: Nothing happens, you didn't know. My family became illegal and they put a price on our heads. One day my mother went to talk to an oracle that prophesied that someday my brothers, she and I would meet and finish him.
Sonic stops and sighs, preparing to tell what happened.
Sonic: What he couldn't predict is that the future can always change. Once my family was reunited, we turned to face Robotnik, only to discover that it was a trap. They waxed us and started shooting. Sonic finishes and receives a hug from Devil Rose and Luffy puts his straw hat on his head.
Devil Rose: I'm so sorry, Sonic. If I come to know that you...
DN Luffy: Don't worry, I'll kick Eggman's ass!
Sonic smiles and sheds a tear.
Sonic: Thanks to both of you, you are the best.
So Luffy has an idea.
DN Luffy: Wait, I'll be right back!
Sonic and Devil Rose look at each other in surprise until Luffy returns with a bottle of sake... and three cups.

Devil Rose: H-Hey, I can't drink.
Sonic: Luffy, what are you doing?
Luffy: Easy, Ruby. This is very important to me.
They both look intrigued.
DN Luffy: Do you know one thing? In my world, if you behave a few cups of sake with other people, they become brothers.
Sonic and Devil Rose: What?!
Devil Rose: Luffy, are you asking us...?
DN Luffy: Yes, I want the three of us to be brothers! I really like you!
Sonic and Devil Rose look at each other, confused, but then smile. It was true that they got on quite well with Luffy and it was an extremely important ritual for him.
Sonic: Hey, I hope this affects my little brother too.
Devil Rose: And me half sister, huh!
DN Luffy: Of course!
Luffy fills the cups with sake and the three take them, toasting.
DN Luffy: Ruby, Sonic ... from this moment, we are brothers and sister!

Then they hear some crying.
Franky: UUUAAAAAAA! How nice, some friends with terrible pasts becoming oath brothers!
Weiss: Can you tell why you're crying?

Weiss and the rest were crying at such a scene, while Zoro, Robin, Yang, and Pyrrha smile.

Nami hits him, eyes tearing up.

The three brothers now laugh happily.
Sonic: Sorry everyone. I'm already much better. Are we going to see the Professor?
The three of them leave together, eager for more adventures.
