Pureblood dragged the body of Animo who was covered in mucus, he seemed to be less than pleased... for various reasons besides being covered in mucus along with being restrained by a light pole. "ONE DAY! ONE DAY I'LL GET YOU, BOY!"

"You'll be dead by then though.", Pureblood says as he places him onto the street curb and looked down at Charmcaster. "We should feed him to his frog more often.", he says jokingly as she was holding the de-mutated frog in her hands. "You're in your lucky day Animo! This Friday is Chicken Pot Pie night!"

"Ooo!", Animo perked up at the mention of chicken pot pie, he may be an insane scientist but who could resist a chicken pot pie?

Charmcaster looked at the frog who just aimlessly looked around, not exactly sure what was happening nor did it care. "How much protein you think is in there?", she asked much to Animo's dismay, which she chuckled at. "Ah- fuck!"

At the sudden change in attitude, the taller Alien looked over. "Wassup?", Pureblood asked, tilting his head to the left in curiosity.

Charmcaster handed the frog to the taller plant-like alien. "Gwen asked me to teach her more complex spells, I almost completely forgot", the white haired sorceress frowned but was met with a gentle pack to her back. "You wanna come with? I'm sure she wouldn't mind."

"Nah, I gotta turn Animo in... then I need to go fishing with Grandpa Max, Grandpa and Magister Patelliday.", Pureblood says as his eyes seemed to be a bit disappointed that he had to go fishing. "Say hi for me though!"

"Are you sure? I mean you've haven't been the most... emotionally stable person.", Charmcaster tried finding a way not to sound mean or offensive but just gave up halfway through.

Pureblood just gave her a reassuring pat on the back with what appeared to be a smile. "I'll be fine, I promise.", with this, Hope flew up and gave him a kiss on the cheek before vanishing in a pink light.

"Ahhh~ what a lovely display of affection!", Animo looked up with a smile on his face before scowling. "It sickens me."

"Whatever dude.", Pureblood just sighed at this, as he opened up his wings he wrapped the metal pole around his large wrist then looked down at Animo. "You can literally mutate animals on the fly, if you really wanted that recognition or whatever you could just cure cancer."

"But I don't want to cure cancer," the mad doctor says with infuriating insouciance. "I want to turn people into yetis!"

"Why am I not surprised?"

Within the confines of Gwen's home, the ginger haired sorceress was practicing in her bedroom. She was going through the basic stances, the intermediate stances and then the more difficult stances. "Hey-!", Gwen quickly spun around and kicked Charmcaster in the stomach on reflex.

Charmcaster grabbed her stomach and gasped, coughing as she knelt over. "I'm so sorry!", Gwen was quickly next to her, the sorceress just gave a thumbs up.

"Ugh, gimme a second. Geez you're strong for an 11 year old.", Charmcaster stood up as she had quickly recovered from the powerful kick. "So what do you want to learn anyways?"

"Oh yeah!", Gwen perked up and used a tendril made of pure mana to open her drawer and pull out the spell book the white haired sorceress gave her. "There's a section in the spellbook that, no matter what I do, I can't seem to lift the spell blocking it."

The spellbook was now in Gwen's hand and morphed to become much larger, she flipped through the hundreds of pages and notes to the last few dozen pages. As she said, there was something blocking it, a sort of lock and chain made out of red mana, something Charmcaster recognized as her uncles handy work. "Sorry but I can't help with this."

Gwen tilted her head in confusion. "Why not?"

"This was locked up for a reason, Gwen.", Charmcaster closed the book as she looked at her with a grin expression. "I never bothered unlocking it myself, not like I could even understand it."

This didn't help Gwen who just looked even more confused, if that was even possible. In which, the former explained further. "My uncle locked this up because of the dangerous spells in there, dimension traveling, mind control on a planetary scale, and a lot of murder spells.", she just sighed and closed the book. "Even if I managed to remove the hundreds of restriction spells, I couldn't understand a single one."

Satisfied by this, Gwen stood up as the spell book returned to her side in its original size. "Do you think I should just... throw away the whole Lucky Girl thing?"

"What?", Charmcaster sat on her bed, her eyebrow cocked as the question came out of nowhere, from what she's seen Gwen actually loved helping people as Lucky Girl.

Gwen took in a deep breath before she continued. "My uh ... sister told me the other day she knew, and after that she started saying some really... really mean things to me and...", she started choking up as she could remember the day her older sister sat her down and basically chastised her.

"Older sister?", Charmcaster leaned forward as Gwen suddenly remembered this little detail she's never even revealed.

"You don't know her?"

"I didn't even know she existed up until you mentioned her."

"oh...", Gwen facepalmed, how could she even forget something like this? It's such a simple detail that she automatically assumed she knew. "My older sister, Sunny, she's like me... she's an Anodite."

"How?", Charmcaster wasn't too aware about that species but she knew having those powers are basically impossible. "I thought you can only be like this through just touching Magic shit or something."

"Well, apparently not.", Gwen lifted up her hand, the skin began to crack and dissipate into nothing to show her Anodite hand. "Sunny's always gotten in trouble for something, she made weird things happen whenever she was around and spent most of her time in juvie. The moment I got my powers I figured it out... she was always like this."

Charmcaster nodded at this, her first question was answered and now she decided to move onto her second question. "Okay, I got that. But why would she want to do that to you? I may not have the best relationship with my brother but I'd treat him better than that if he was well... sane."

"It's probably because of her boyfriend, Antonio.", Gwen rolled her eyes, she gagged at even mentioning his name.

"Antonio?"

Gwen created a small energy construct of a head before swatting it away. "Think of Alex but a genuinely awful person.", Charmcaster's face scrunched up at the thought of this. "Exactly."

"Where is she anyways?", Charmcaster asked as the two perked up, they could sense the energy coming towards the house. It felt violent and untamed, yet it also felt sort of... sour, for a lack of a better term.

"IM HOME!"

A loud, raspy yet still very feminine sounding voice was heard from downstairs. Gwen grimaced at just the sound of the voice, which she made sure to gesture towards Charmcaster to not even get up.

"Sunny, where have you been?!", Frank exclaimed, his voice matching the pitch of his eldest daughter.

The owner of the voice just laughed this off, this obviously was Sunny. She was a teenage girl of average height with a slim figure, Sunny possessed mid length black hair with a purple highlight. She currently wore a leather jacket over a purple tank top, torn black skinny jeans and a pair of boots. "Relax, dad! I was just at Antonio's place!"

"FOR A WEEK?!", Frank exclaimed with his face turning red, he quickly calmed down and straightened himself out. "You can't keep going out without telling us, young lady."

"Psssh, it was just a week, nothing too long.", Sunny dismissively says as she closed the door and sat on the couch. "Mmmm~ I'm already missing Antonio."

"That boy is not good for you, just look at yourself now.", Frank says as Natalie walked in the room with a frown on her face.

Natalie looked at Sunny with heavy amounts of annoyance. "You're becoming more like Verdona every day.", she says with a sigh. "From now on you will not see Antonio and you will be grounded for three months."

"THREE MONTHS?!", Sunny shot up, her hair turning pink as her eyes glowed white, the house began to shake as she grits her teeth. "What makes you the boss of me?! As far as I'm concerned I don't need to listen to you, Natalie!", Natalie fearlessly looked at her eldest daughter in disappointment before going to the garage. "Yeah walk away!"

"Sunny, that's enough.", Frank sternly said, the tone startled Sunny who stopped glowing as the house stopped shaking.

"Shut the fuck up, dad! You don't have the power to make me do anything, so as I can see it, I'm free to do whatever.", Sunny says confidently as she sat back down, her eyes widened as she felt an unfamiliar presence upstairs. "Ooooh, does Gwenny have a friend over?"

Frank was afraid to answer, he knew very well Charmcaster had come over as he passed Gwen's room earlier. "... Yes. Please, don't start your nonsense, please."

"What nonsense? I just wanna have a little fun her friend, nothing too serious.", a malicious grin formed on Sunny's face as her father looked at her with a look of disapproval. "I won't do anything, I pinky promise."

Frank felt something wash over him, for the first time he felt... relieved. "But... why? I was so anxious a moment ago.", his mind began to race with thoughts to answer why. The most plausible answer was that Sunny wasn't the only Anodite in the family, not only that but there's a sorceress in the house that could possibly put her in her place. "Fine... just don't cause any trouble."

With that, Frank left the room to comfort his wife who was still in the garage. With a victorious grin, Sunny let out a disturbingly childish giggle. "Time to meet my next victim~"

Within the confines of Gwen's room, Charmcaster decided to teach her a new spell revolving summoning. Her lecture was extremely brief but surprisingly informative. "Hey, I'm feeling numb in my toes. Is that normal?"

"No. You might need to walk carefully down the stairs for now on.", Charmcaster says as Gwen just walked around with her numb toes. "Hmm... that's weird."

"What is?"

"I thought you'd lose balance if you had numb toes, like."

"... Hope, did Alex tell you that?", Gwen crossed her arms as the white haired sorceress just nodded with a mixture of cluelessness and confusion. "I knew it."

"Hey there loser!", Sunny suddenly bursted through the door with wide smile on her face, her eyes were immediately drawn to Charmcaster's unique appearance. "Oooooh, who's this? A new friend? Man, she looks even dorkier than you."

"Who are you again?", the stark haired magician says with a deadpanned look on her face.

"Ohhh, where are my manners. I'm Sunny.", Sunny held her hand out, her body glowing with a sort of pink energy. Charmcaster suddenly appeared in front of her and grabbed her hand much to her surprise.

"Why thank you for the handshake, I'm Charmcaster. It's a pleasure.", Charmcaster allowed a grin to form as she sent a pulse of mana into Sunny, who's knees began to buckle in response. The white haired teen let out a laugh at the sight of her like this. "You okay? Having trouble standing on your feet?"

"The fuck?!", Sunny's heart was thumping against her rib cage the moment the energy was sent pulsing through her, she quickly let go and stood straight. Sunny attempted to say something but just couldn't put it into words before storming off with a huff.

Gwen looked at Charmcaster and gave her a thumbs up, who returned the gesture in kind. "How did you know that would scare her off anyways?", the younger of the two asked her, in which she gave a nonchalant shrug.

"If they've got a big bark then their bite isn't nothing to be afraid of... I think that's how it goes. Is that how it goes?", Charmcaster asked which received an affirmative nod in response, to which she smiled.

Gwen jolted up from where she sat as her eyes glazed over before she snapped from that trance she was in. Her skin began to peel away as her clothing began to morph, within a bright flash of light Gwen stood as Lucky Girl. "I gotta go, the Rat Man is back... again."

"Rat Man? Wait you have your own villains?", Charmcaster looked genuinely excited at the prospect of her little protege having her own rouges gallery.

"I don't want one but yeah, I do. Wanna come with?", Lucky Girl points to the window that she opened with an energy tendril. To which, Charmcaster just dived out the window head first. "I'll take that as a yes."

The two sorceress' flew out of the window and into the air, zooming past the houses and towards the city in the distance. Sunny watched from her room's window, seething in rage seeing the two fly off, her rage fueled gaze was complimented by jealousy. "Little shit thinks she can go out and have fun without me!"

Sunny grinned as she uses an aura of dark pink energy to open up her window and speed after them, as she does so a steam of the same energy trialing behind her. "Good luck with that!"

Within moments, the sorceress duo made it to the jewelry store covered in unconscious bodies and destroyed cars. What stood in front of them was a massive creature covered in black fur, a face resembling a hairless rat combined with a man. "Is he related to Animo by any chance?", was a genuine question Charmcaster asked.

"Wouldn't surprise me if he was.", Lucky Girl says with a shrug. "Now let's-!", a pink ball of energy rocketed past them and into the stomach of the Rat Man, instantly knocking him unconscious. "Hmm... lot easier than I thought."

Sunny flew up into the air hollering with excitement, spinning in place before releasing a wave of mana. "Whoops! Looks like I stole your win!", Sunny exclaims with a grin.

"SUNNY!", Lucky Girl exclaims in surprise as Charmcaster just... could care less since she at least did the work for them. "What're you-"

"What? You think Imma let you take all the fun, I didn't even know you could deal with shit like this.", Sunny says as she glared daggers at Charmcaster, her aura flaring in response to the sudden jolt of anger. "I could care less about your bitch of a friend by the way Gwenny."

"Better watch your mouth.", Charmcaster says with a smirk on her face. "Or maybe I'll watch it for you."

"Pfft, whatever. What're you gonna do? Put me in my place.", Sunny taunted as she flew back in the direction of her house as her face lit up in excitement.

Charmcaster looked at her fly away. "So, uh, why is she going away?"

"Ugh, I can sense Antonio, maybe that's why.", Lucky Girl crosses her arms as she and Charmcaster was teleported back to her room. "Man I gotta learn how to do that.", Gwen says as she heard something being ripped out of the ground outside.

"SUNNY! I've brought you a token of a love so strong that no force in the Universe can deny it!", said a young man who appeared to be in his late teens roughly. He wore clothing that seemed to be stretched and torn through, this was Antonio. "Uh... is she even here?", Antonio scratched his chin as he said that to no one in particular as he held up a tree in his comparatively smaller hands.

"Oh you're so romantic!", Sunny came flying down and tackled him to the ground with a smile on her face.

"Absolutely not.", Natalie says plainly as she walked out of the house with an annoyed look on her face. "We've told you many times not to talk to that boy, yet you still keep-"

"IS THAT TREE FROM THE BACKYARD?!", Gwen roared out in anger as her mana erupted from her body like a roaring flame.

"Uh... no?", Antonio says nervously as he kicked the tree away.

"Oh I love you Antonio!", Sunny exclaims as she floated up into the air holding him.

"That's my swing!", Gwen flew out of the window again angrily, her mother stepping back as she was ready to watch this dumpster fire unfold. "Ugh, that's it! I'm sick of you, I'm tired of dealing with you! Day in and day out you do whatever the heck you want and for what?! Some blockhead that sleeps in a dumpster?!"

Antonio in front of her in a second, looking down on her as his muscles began to throb. "Watch what you say about me, little brat.", he reached over only to get pushed back by a gust of wind from Gwen.

"Get out of my face, I don't need to put up with you anymore.", Gwen says as her hair began to split apart into barbed tendrils.

Sunny grabbed her by one of her tendrils with her own. "The hell do you think you're doing?", she says in the most grim and serious tone Gwen had ever heard in her entire 11 years of existence. "Who do you think you are?! You think you're hot shit because you're an Anodite huh? Let me show you something."

Sunny began grinning, a painfully wide grin as her mouth and eyes began to glow with a white energy, her skin began to bubble and melt off her. Her clothing burned away as she grew slightly taller, her hair growing to an impossible length, fingers became claws, legs became digitigrade with three talons. Her body was completely purple with engravings detailing muscles.

Gwen was surprised by this, not because of the form but just generally. "I thought..."

"You thought all I knew was just to shoot and fly? Please! I've been doing this since before you were born brat-!", Sunny was sent skidding back with a surprisingly powerful punch from Charmcaster.

"I can't tell if you're this dense or you just didn't listen to me. I told you I'd watch your mouth for you.", Charmcaster says nonchalantly as she just looks at Antonio with disgust. "I'll get to you in a minute."

Sunny hissed before flying into the air, Charmcaster flying after her with a blue aura surrounding her body. She threw her hand forward and launched hundreds of orbs of mana directly at the spoiled Anodite who quickly dodged these blasts and threw her own stronger one right back at her.

Charmcaster opened her mouth and swallowed one of the mana blasts before firing out sharp streams of energy, these quickly blasted right through Sunny's beam and began chasing after her the moment she started flying. "You think you're impressive?! Oh please!", Sunny let's put an annoyed snarl before following up with a high pitched wail, the energy blasts quickly began to change direction and went back to their sender along with hundreds, thousands more.

The white haired sorceress began flying away, holding her right hand out as her own grin formed on her face. As the energy made contact with her right palm she began forming a ball of mana from her left. "Right back at you!", she hurled the massive ball of energy at Sunny who just held her hands out, once it made contact it erupted in flames and exploded.

"How pathetic.", Sunny yawns as she used a hand gesture to dissipate the dust before she was sent flying down by a drop kick from Charmcaster. "She's fucking quick!", Sunny transformed into three balls of energy that Charmcaster rushed past before being met with a knee to the face as the energy balls reformed into Sunny.

Gwen looked up before looking at Antonio who just stared at her. "What're you looking at?", Antonio says as veins began to bulge on his forehead. He began to grow larger and larger, dwarfing Gwen herself as hair began to grow on his back. "Should've stayed out of my business.

The younger Anodite got into a stance as Antonio's jaw and brow became more pronounced, his ears became pointed as black fur began to grow around both his core arms and legs, a tail growing out of his waist and let out a roar. "Weird how you look much better like this."

Unknown to Gwen, she chose the... less than optimal response to him as Antonio charged forward and slammed his fist down, Gwen quickly leapt up and drop kicked him in the throat before using energy to propel him back. The giant humanoid picked up the tree from before and started swinging it wildly like a weapon.

"Hey! I still need that swing for later!", Gwen began expertly dodging the raving lunatic as she slid underneath him, grabbing him by the tail and yanking it as hard as she could. The resulting pull caused Antonio to let out a roar in pain and drop the tree, this gave Gwen the opening to fly into the air and unleash a barrage of mana formed into sharp blades.

These, however, did quite literally nothing. It was like throwing feathers at a tank, barely doing anything besides brushing against it. "Okay, new plan.", Gwen still in her lucky girl form looked around, she lifted her hand up which was covered by a blue and pink energy. "Awakatelo Foligeto!", she exclaimed.

Antonio just looked at her and laughed at just the fact nothing actually happened, or so it appeared. The tree he was swinging around suddenly came to life and stabbed him with its many many roots. "OW! You tiny little twerp!", he was promptly met with a blast to the face.

"Just so you know.", Charmcaster was hovering in place as Sunny kept zooming around as the three energy balls, only reforming into her regular form to attack but was still dodged. "This is your fault."

"You think your a big shot huh?", Sunny's arms sharpened into blades as she thrusted forward, Charmcaster just smirked and crushed something in her hand. Her arm was coated in stone with the same markings her stone monsters, Charmcaster simply moved out the way and threw a powerful jab with that stone covered hand.

The momentum from both Sunny rocketing at her with full speed and the fact Charmcaster threw a jab, this resulted in not only the stone shattering but Sunny disoriented. With a snap of a finger, a strong gust of wind pushed her down into the asphalt which suddenly changed into fire. "Y'know, Gwen may be a prodigy."

Sunny struggled to get up before being covered with a chunk of ice made of pink energy, Charmcaster dropped down with a grin. "I've been doing this longer.", the ice shattered as Sunny began to notice something.

Her eyes had finally picked up on thin strands of energy coming from her own body and into Charmcaster, who struggled not to laugh at this. "Y-You...", Sunny was flabbergasted by this revelation.

"I've been absorbing your mana while we've been fighting, since using stronger spells in general drain my energy I decided to drain you. Anodites really are a witches greatest tool.", Charmcaster says as Sunny was pushed back by an even stronger gust of wind, rock pellets came flying out of her bag and transformed into dog-like stone monsters that tackled her, biting at her body that appeared to be made of glass.

"So, you give up?", Charmcaster casually walked up to her, completely unaffected by the nearly endless wind that started to push the nearby cars. Sunny just nodded, and with a snap, both the stone monsters and the gust of wind ceased.

Sunny began to be wrapped up in her original clothing, skin began layering over her Anodite body while her hair shorten to its original length. "Yeah... okay."

"GET OFF ME!", Antonio roars as Gwen was sitting on his head while he was being restrained by roots coming from both the tree laying down and any nearby tree. Which was quickly destroyed with a flex of his powerful muscles, Gwen jumped off only to be grabbed by the larger creature. "Finally! Now I'm gonna fucking-"

"Do what?", Sunny appeared next to Antonio almost instantly, Charmcaster teleporting in after her. "What exactly are you gonna do to her?"

"Uh... I'm gonna... I'm gonna.", Antonio was suddenly met with a whip being made of mana connecting to his back. "OW! What was that for? I was gonna do you a favor for-"

"The only person who can harass Gwen is me, I never said you could do it.", Sunny says as she forced him to let her go, in which Gwen finally reverted to her normal appearance. "Go away, I'm not in the mood for you anymore."

Antonio's ears flopped down as he opened his mouth, he was quickly met with a sharp glare. "I said go. Right now.", Sunny says sternly, to which Antonio just lurched forward and walked away.

"Im going to my room.", the attitude Sunny had was gone, Gwen was confused by this since the sister she had would never dismiss Antonio like that. "Oh and, Gwen... I'm sorry."

The sudden apology came out from literally nowhere that both Gwen and Charmcaster were genuinely surprised. "Uh... what?"

"I SAID I WAS FUCKING SORRY ARE YOU DEAF?!", Sunny snapped at her before storming into the house and towards her room. Frank and Natalie were waiting outside with a smile.

"You think this experience humbled her?" Frank looked at his wife, who stared at him with a blank expression. "Yeah, you're right. She'll probably forget it."

Gwen looked up and was shocked as the sun had already began setting. "Man, time flies when you're having fun huh?", she remarks as she looked at Charmcaster. "You wanna stay for dinner?"

"Nah, I don't wanna deal with the awkward conversations.", Charmcaster comments with a yawn as Gwen had expected this from her, so she just hugged the older sorceress.

"You're always welcomed in our home, Charmcaster.", Natalie says with a surprisingly bright smile that had finally graced her stressed out face.

It took what felt like an eternity for Charmcaster to process this, to which she couldn't help but smile. "You can call me Hope, Mrs. Tennyson."

"Hope... that's a wonderful name.", Natalie remarks as Gwen was by her side. Charmcaster looked around nervously before teleporting away in a flash of pink light. "C'mon, you, your father and I have to relish in the quiet relief of Sunny's attitude change."

A pink flash erupted above the couch of the Tennant household, Charmcaster falling right next to Alex who was just slump and smelt somewhat burnt. "Why do you smell like burnt toast?", as her question.

"Long story, shorter version is because of Vulkanus.", Alex says casually as Charmcaster just enchanted herself to not smell it, she scoots closer and rests her head on his shoulder. "So how was your day?", Alex asked.

"I met Gwen's older sister, went about as well as you'd think.", Charmcaster yawns as she was met with a kiss to the top of her head as Alex wrapped an arm around her. "I think I managed to get through to her."

"Oh really, how's you manage that?", Alex asked genuinely surprised as the last encounter he had with Sunny wasn't really... pleasant, nor the most comfortable.

"I beat her up."

"Hah! Nice."
