I noticed a struggling scientist being robbed by a goofy dude and suddenly my natural instincts went loose. I bolted for the man and the chase was lead to a cave

"Give those back!" I shouted in mudkip speech as my collar translated it

"No! You stupid mudkip" said the red man

I forced a water gun at his face causing him to fall back and call out his poocheyena

I then used mudslap and followed with water gun but the poocheyena missed

And used thunder fang making me fall in pain, I struggled to get up but my body started glowing! I was evolving!

"Hmm this is strange" I said as it muffled under the changes.

I had became marshtomp, finally being able to use my hands err… fins I mean, I grab a piece of mud and chuck it at the grunt, causing my chance to slap the poocheyena with a mud bomb and reposess the papers that were stolen, I put my bag properly on and ran to the scientist. Who thanked me with a research tablet "oh cool!" The translator on my collar said and we went our separate ways

I sent out my Mudkip and Tailow and they were happy I had evolved, with that I was ready to swim?

"Wow" I said astonished

"I guess I can catch some Pokémon" I said

I pulled some pokeballs out of the bag and started swimming towards some Pokémon.

I noticed there were some relicanth! I had to add it to the team, so I used water gun on it and then shot a Pokéball at it. The ball shook three times and it clicked! I had caught the Relicanth.

As I collected the ball with my fins I heard something… a voice.

"Come here young Marshtomp" the childish voice sounded out.

I noticed a glowing purple rock at the bottom of the ocean. I swam down grabbed it and pulled it to land.

The rock began to crack revealing a small Pokémon with a pointy 3 point helmet.

"A JIRACHI" I said in shock.

"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!"

When it woke up it saw me.

"Dada!" It called out

"No, I'm not your dad! I'm a human but I was turned into a mudkip by a weird cult."

The jirachi understood.

"Since you awakened me I have no choice but to grant you three wishes"

"I wish to be human again."

The jirachis tag-like hangings began to glow.

I started to feel tingly as I grew to my normal human size!

"OMG IM A HUMAN AGAIN!!" I happily exclaimed being able to speak human again

"THANKS!"

"It is my pleasure!"

"For my second wish, I want to be able to communicate with Pokémon!"

I took out my newly caught relicanth and it started talking to it and I was able to understand it!

"Okay I wanted to test that out!"

"For my 3rd wish, I wish I was at the galar Mine."

My body had emitted into a white light, when I awoke I was in the mine I was looking for!

Little did I know the cult was literally right there…

"Oh crap"

The cult smacked me down and when I woke up I was a marshtomp again….

"GREAT!"

I noticed the pond that held the crystals I was searching for.

I began to swim but then out of nowhere a gigalith appeared before me.

I had to go engage in one more battle before the crystal was mine.

sorry for the delay I was kind of experiencing writers block. I wanted to plan to end the series tomorrow with the 5th chapter but it could go a little longer as I want james to evolve into a swampert. You'll get to see what I do in this case as I think James will hold on to the crystal for later.
