Chapter. 33: Summer vs. Whitebeard! The adventure with Roger.
On a certain island, pirates flocked to see two warriors, Summer D. Rose against "Whitebeard" Edward Newgate. The Roger Pirates were hallucinating: they knew very well how strong the rival captain was; only Roger was the only one who could stand up to him. On the other hand, the Whitebeard Pirates were worried; Summer could be very stubborn at times, but to challenge her captain...
Aleena: Summer, don't do it! The old man is too strong for you!
But Summer cared little what her friend said; She had a mission, to go with Oden and Roger to that last island, in case she could go home. However, the enemy in front of her was the man who took her on his boat as a daughter for four years and someone who was respected...
Whitebeard: Gurarara, you have courage, daughter! But I'm not going to let you go with Roger. And the same goes for you, Oden!
Oden: But, White-chan!
Summer: Sorry Edward, but I'll beat you and go with Roger.
Summer puts down her two scythes and gets into a fighting stance.
Marco: She's not thinking seriously...
Jozu: Is she willing to fight Pops without her weapons?!
Buggy: Has she gone crazy?! Whitebeard will kill her! You have no chance of surviving against that monster!
Whitebeard was just smiling. Suddenly, he thrusts his bisect into the ground and cracks his knuckles.
Whitebeard: Perfect! It's been a long time since I last fought with my fists! Do not complain.
Summer: Neither do you.

The two look at each other for a moment before throwing a punch at each other. Whitebeard feels only a light tap, while sending Summer into the jungle. However, she shoots out and kicks the pirate in the face. Whitebeard growls, trying to hit the Huntress again, though Summer activates her silver eyes, blinding everyone around.
Buggy: Damn it, I don't see anything!

While in the fight...
Summer: Damn, Edward is so strong. And where is -...?!
Before she finished speaking, something hits her, sending her away. Summer flips back, managing to recover.
Summer: Huh?!
Whitebeard: There you are!
Whitebeard held a tree trunk that he used as a baseball bat. Summer smiles sarcastically, while Whitebeard smiles back at her.
Summer: Ha, I thought this was unarmed combat.
Whitebeard: And it is.
Whitebeard throws the tree trunk at her, hitting Summer and leaving her badly injured. Bleeding but determined, the Huntress runs towards the white-mustached pirate and the two clash their fists wrapped in Haki, causing the sky to split in two.
Rayleigh: What power...
Marco: Summer-kun...
Both the Roger Pirates and the Whitebeard Pirates were amazed, only one person in the entire vast ocean was capable of dealing with the strongest man in the world and now...
Roger: How good is she to keep Newgate like this! I want to fight her!

Just when they are going to continue fighting, a person intervenes.
Oden: White-chan, please! I want to get to the bottom of this too!
Whitebeard: Let you and Summer know I HATE this idea!
After the fight, we see Summer cared for by Marco and Aleena while she was wrapped in bulky bandages.

Gaban: You two! Hahahaha!

Summer gets like a tomato while everyone laughs non-stop.
Summer: "After that cute 'joke', we got down from the Sky Isles safely and headed for a place called Water Seven, a shipyard town. Rayleigh said the Gold Jackson needed repairs, so... Summer looks out the window of her cabin at the Oro Jackson and, smiling but sad, decides to finish writing her latest experiences.
Summer: "We finally reached the last stage of our trip ... Or so I would say, if Buggy hadn't gotten sick! He had a disease called:" If-I-go-to-that-island-I will die. "I couldn't believe it, so close and up with a terrible excuse. I decided not to say anything and shut it up, although Aleena told me that after being so long in this sea, nothing is impossible. Summer looks out the window again and sheds a few tears.
Summer: "The time to put down the pen has come. Now it only remains to say goodbye to the Roger Pirates and head home. Thank you all for these incredible years."
Summer and everyone else come down from the Oro Jackson in a port, unaware that a green hood was watching them.
