ONE YEAR AGO…

In the middle of nowhere in the Enchanted Forest, Prince Phillip rode on his horse. He was galloping through the countryside of the realm. Past the mountains. Through the trees. Through the waters, till he got to his wife, Princess Aurora.

He dismounted his horse and walked over to meet her under the gazebo she was, preparing a meal that was fit for both. She turned to her husband. "You're late," she told him.

"I came as quickly as I could," Phillip breathed, kissing his wife on the cheek.

"I'm hungry, and I miss you," Aurora whined.

"You are always hungry now." Phillip placed a hand under Aurora's cloak, touching her, showing a pregnancy bump.

"And cranky. Sorry. I know there are royal responsibilities. I shouldn't…."

"None that match my responsibilities to you. And our family. I'm the one that should be sorry." He was going to give his wife another kiss when there was a loud rumbling in the distance. A thunderclap. A loud one.

They both looked into the distance and saw clouds of purple begin to form over the horizon. It was growing more and quickly coming after them. Aurora and Phillip slowly approached. "What is that?" Aurora began to ask. "Is it … Is it a storm?"

Their horses neighed off into the distance and ran away from the purple clouds. Phillip shook his head. "That's no storm," he said, running with her back to the pavilion. "It's magic. Come. We need to get you to safety. Now."

They held each other close as the clouds engulfed the two of them. Before they soon dissipated. Phillip looked at Aurora and stood up with her. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Yeah. I think so. What was that?"

"I don't know," Phillip said before the two of them looked to the side, and they saw they were not alone anymore.

With them now were Snow White, Prince Charming, Belle, the Evil Queen, the Doctor, the Professor and Clara Oswald (among many others).

Aurora tilted her head. Her gaze shifted to Snow's. "Snow?" she asked. "What happened?"

"We're back," Snow answered sadly. However, Snow's tone made Aurora more puzzled and confused than she already was. What had happened to make Snow sad? And where did all these strange people come from?

Snow, Charming, the Doctor, and the Evil Queen met with Aurora and Phillip under the gazebo and began to tell them what had happened. On travelling to Neverland, saving Henry, defeating Pan, and undoing the curse. But now, it was their turn to find out what had happened in the Enchanted Forest while they were away.

"How has everything been since we left?" Snow asked. "The Ogres?"

"Oh, defeated," Aurora said. "We are restoring our kingdom and our lives."

The Doctor nodded. "And congratulations are in order," he said with a smile.

"Is it that obvious?" Aurora asked with a laugh.

"Maybe just a tad. You have a sort of glow to you."

"Why is she pregnant, and I'm the one who's sick?" the Evil Queen muttered.

"We have much to celebrate," Phillip said. "And know that you and your friends are welcome in our kingdom. If you need anything, we are at your service."

"Thank you," Charming said. "But all we need are horses. We have our kingdom, our castle …"

"Our castle was destroyed in the curse," Snow told him, placing her hand on his arm.

"It seems you laid waste to everything, Regina," the Doctor said. "Maybe next time a gentler curse?"

"Her castle still stands," Aurora said of the Evil Queen's.

"Of course it does," the Evil Queen said. "I protected it."

"Well, technically, the castle doesn't belong to her," Charming said. "It was Snow's before she took it."

"Well, to be fair, I married into it."

"That you did," Snow said. "And now we're taking it back. And you are coming with us."

The Evil Queen scoffed. "You can't be serious."

"Regina, everyone out there is scared and confused. They need hope. What better way to do that than to return united? You're coming with us. I know you don't like it, but you'll learn to. For our good. For yours."

"Thank you again for the hospitality," Charming said to Aurora and Phillip. "We should begin the preparations."

Phillip shook Charming's hand. "Good luck. To all of you."

The Doctor, Snow, Charming and the Evil Queen left the gazebo, leaving only Aurora and Phillip. Naturally, Aurora turned to her husband.

"You know we can't pretend this didn't happen," she told him. "They've returned. We have to tell her."

"Aurora, we can't," Phillip said. "You know what will happen to them. What she'll do."

"We both know if she ever found out that we hid this; she would take it out on our child. We have no choice. She must know. We have to trust that they can take care of themselves. It is not up to us to save them."
