Chapter 40: Unprecedented Destruction! Eggmanland (Part. 1)
Eggmanland (Day) - Sonic Unleashed [OST]
If there was one word to describe the situation in Eggmanland, it would be this: "hell." Our heroes were in a bloody war between the Grand Line Navy, Remnant's Grimms, and Eggman's robots. The hunters were scared, but they kept advancing. The Straw Hat Pirates pushed past the Marines and the Grimms, while Luffy followed Sonic, running and dodging missiles.
Sonic: Damn ... This is hell, Egghead was never so alert!
Luffy: ... It's normal, the main forces of the Navy are here.
Sonic gasps momentarily knowing what Luffy was talking about.
Sonic: You mean ... the Admirals are here?
Luffy: Yes. Even the old gambler. And so does HE.
Sonic soon found out who his brother was referring to Fujitora, the marine who helped them in Empire City. He was a good guy, a true Marine, thought the hedgehog. But the one who cared was who Luffy was referring to so angry... Akainu. At that moment Ruby appeared firing at the missiles, helping her brothers.
Ruby: We'll worry about them later! Now, we have to move!
The three of them began to advance in unison, while their friends covered them. They then saw an hourglass, but it had a sun and a moon.
Nami: Is that ... an hourglass?
Pyrrha: Yes, but it is very big.
Ren: Not to mention the sun and the moon.
Luffy: I'll hit that thing, see what happens.
Weiss: Idiot Captain, wait!
Luffy hits the hourglass and when he turns over the moon symbol glows and Luffy, Sonic and Ruby transform into night versions of him.
Sonic: But what ...?
Devil Rose: I think it had something to do with that watch.
Robin: That's right. It seems that this hourglass has power over whether it is day or night.
Jaune: It doesn't matter though ... This place is at war.

Surprising everyone, two figures appear. It was Mercury and Emerald. They had a combat suit developed by Eggman, equipped with a holographic mask.
Emerald: Wow, check out what we have here.
Sanji sees Emerald and her eyes go up with hearts.
Sanji: You are a beauty!
All: Sanji!
Emerald: Huh?
Mercury: Then you must be Sanji. The cook of this gang of childish pirates.
Sanji gets serious and lights a cigarette.

The woman points to DN Luffy, Devil Rose, and Sonic with a sinister smile. The three mentioned preparing to fight when Sanji and Pyrrha pull away from them.

Sonic and his team arrive at a platform, where a bunch of robots was waiting for them.
Yang: Damn, we don't have time for this!

Yang hits the Egg Knights while Nami causes a small storm, destroying them. Ren sees two Nevermore approaching them and he shoots them helping them. Then an unexpected enemy arrives.
Jaune: That's ... Kuma ?!
Zoro: No. He is a Pacifista, a human weapon of the Navy.
Blake: What?!
Robin: Do you remember when Kuma said it was just a memory in Shamar? You see, before we stopped navigating the Grand Line to get stronger, we met Kuma in a place called the Sabaody Archipelago. There we met the Pacifists for the first time. As Zoro said, they are human weapons that the Marines created to destroy pirates. In fact: Kuma was the first, now he is known as PX-0.
If the young heroes already hated the Navy with what Robin has told them, now they took it to the next level. At one point, the Pacifista began scanning everyone who was fighting.
Pacifista: Scanning ... Identified: Jaune Arc, Ren Lie, Blake Belladonna, Weiss Schnee, Ruby Rose. Remnant Beacon Academy Hunters-in-Training: Allies.
The Pacifista sees the Grimms and the Egg Knights; and from his mouth comes a laser beam that vaporizes them instantly.
Jaune: Wow ...
Ren: I must admit that they are powerful.
At that moment, he sees Luffy and his crew and starts shooting laser beams from their hands. The hunters narrowly dodge them, while the Pacifista attacks Zoro, although he blocks it with his swords. Several Goliaths arrive attracted by the sound of the fight and begin to attack everyone. Franky hits three of them, but they are extremely strong, Robin uses her powers to break the limbs of the robots, Sonic hits the Pacifist, who fixes on Sonic.
Pacifista: Unidentified target. Identify yourself or you will be arrested.
Sonic charges a punch and hits the human weapon so hard it destroys them.
Sonic: Here's your ID, junk heap!
Nami calls Zeus and creates a very powerful electrical storm, clearing the way.
Nami: Luffy, take Ruby and the others away from here! We take care of this
DN Luffy: Nami ...
Nami: NOW, Luffy!
Devil Rose: Nothing of that, sweetie. We will help you...
Three other Pacifistas appear, this time led by a very fat marine with a giant ax.

The Pacifist fires a laser beam at DN Luffy when Jaune blocks it with his shield.

Combat Nº2: JR, Nami and Robin against Sentomaru and Pacifistas.
When Sonic and company reach the next area, they find another hourglass. Devil Rose kicks her and this time the sun lights up transforming her into Ruby.
Ruby: Let's go.
As they continued, bumpers were moving as there were platforms.
Blake: This is getting very complicated.
Zoro: Don't complain, we'll have to jump at the right time.
Usopp: You mean it like it's easy!
The three leaders move acrobatically, avoiding the saws and lasers. Usopp takes down several snipers without problems.
Usopp: How many marines are there on this place?!
Weiss: Don't forget the robots and the Grimms.
Yang: I have to tell the old egg: This place is epic!

Sonic and the others jump from platform to platform and reach the other side.

Akainu raises his arms into the dark sky over Eggmanland and fires out a host of volcanic fists. At the moment, they begin to fall as if they were rained destroying everything in his path, even several of his allies. Now both Sonic and Team RWBY understood why Luffy hated the Red Dog so much. He was a true monster. The magma hit the road, leaving a huge gap between them and the road.
Yang: Oh shit.
Zoro: Jump, now!
The remaining heroes manage to land as best they can, when they see another of those clocks.
Eggmanland (Night) - Sonic Unleashed [OST]
Sonic: That bastard is crazy. He's killing his allies, and he doesn't care what happens to him !?
Usopp: You shouldn't be surprised, considering you met CP9's cat boss. You've already seen how it works.
Devil Rose: It doesn't matter ... I won't forgive you for this.
Weiss: As much as I agree with you, it's raining magma so don't waste your time and keep going!

When Sonic pulls the lever, they see a narrow path surrounded by lava.
Yang: You have to be kidding!

Weiss throws Ice Dust into the lava and it freezes creating a path for everyone.

After crossing this path, they find another unpleasant surprise: the monsters of Dark Gaia.

Sonic opened a door and it looks like another narrow passage.

They all jump to another platform where there is a spring, which carries them higher and they begin to fall, with a lot of lasers and blades cornering them.
Chopper: This is ridiculous!
Weiss: I've already assumed ...
They fell safely and upon arrival, he saw the last of the clocks. But they couldn't relax ... far from it. A blinding light floods the place, leaving our group without vision. From it comes a man that they already saw before entering Eggmanland: Kizaru.
Kizaru: Uhh ... Look what we have here: Part of the Straw Hats, Team RWBY, Straw Hat Luffy and Aleena's son and Summer's daughter ...

They were alone ... Sonic, Luffy, and Ruby were alone, all their friends were in danger and the only thing they could do was go ahead and save the world. They then come to a door when DN Luffy knocks on it. At that moment they fall down a slide, dodging all the blades.

Sonic: Yes, thank you.
Devil Rose: Yes ... Let's get this over with.

Devil Rose gets up in a fury and dusts herself off, before turning around angrily.
Devil Rose: You know what ?! I no longer give a shit what happens to you, you are no longer my brothers!
Sonic and DN Luffy: Same here!
Sonic: Listen, a couple of morons. We're at it now, but only until we save the world. Later, each one by his side and we will not see each other again. Understood?
DN Luffy and Devil Rose: OK.
The three angry heroes continued on their way, unaware that Cinder Fall was watching them.
