Hello there Losties. Today I am going to write Season 7 Episode 1 for Lost. It will be called Aftermath. Let us begin with our episode today. Ajira Flight 316 flew across the sky, Jack smilled, knowing that his destiny is fulfilled. Vincent soon showed up and ran towards Jack and soon, Jack's eyes closed. A dlasback soon appeared. Libby just opened her eyes and woke up to the sight of her husband Dave, Ilana, Bram and some other people. The group have arrived on the island on Elizabeth, Dave's ship. Libby and Dave were sedated for their journey to the island and Libby was the last to wake up. She and her husband were shocked that they have arrived on the island. Dave and Libby were recruited by Jacob as Libby was adopted by Jacob at a very young age and she was sent off the island after being injured by the MIB and healed in the temple of the island. Therefore, she have forgotten all about the island and Jacob. However, Jacob constantly kept watch of her and after decades she suddenly remembered Jacob. Jacob knew and decided to recruit Libby and her husband Dave for his cause on the island. Libby and the others soon walked towards the foot of the statue where Jacob resided. After some walk, they have arrived and were greeted by Jacob. Jacob and Libby both hugged each other tightly when they reunited. The main reason of Libby's recruitment is that Jacob was intrigued as his daughter was able to remember events after her injuries where Ben, the current leader of the others could not. Jacob soon explained the missions that are needed to be carried out by Libby, Ilana, Bram and her people while Dave went on a walk into the jungles of the island as he was impressed with it. Jacob explained about the candidates and the possibility of them replacing him in the future. He said "John Locke, Hugo Hurley Reyes, James Sawyer Ford, Sayid Jarrah, Jack Shephard and Ji Yeon are the ones that have the highest possibility in replacing me." Ilana asked "Who is Ji Yeon?" Jacob replied" She is the future daughter of Jin and Sun. I touched them to take away Jin's ability to bear a child so that Ji Yeon could be conceived on the island in Sun's belly and she could be a guardian of the island that have relations to both the outside world and the island.". Jacob then said" My best bet is in Hugo Hurley Reyes as he posses a supernatural ability that will be useful in the future, make sure to keep an eye on him. That will be all for now." Soon, the group left and called for Dave who was still in the jungle. Suddenly Dave heard a strange noise, a strange noise sounding like a machine. Out of the blue, something drilled out from the ground and knocked Dave up into the air. It was The MIB. It then swiftly killed Dave and threw him far away. Meanwhile, Libby who was searching for her husband was startled by the dead body of her husband falling in front of her. She cried loudly and kept apologized to her husband, saying that she shouldn't have asked him to escort her to the island. Ilana who knew the one responsible for Dave's death quickly motioned her Bram and her people as they ran back into the foot of the statue. In there, Jacob looked like he expected for this to happen. He then comforted Libby and told her "I am so sorry for what just happened my daughter. But fear not, Hurley might be able to see and talk to your husband. If you want to hear about your husband, you need to go check on Hurley when he is sent to the Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute, there he will start seeing your dead husband. " Jacob then said" Ilana, make sure to look after your sister for me and Libby be sure to give your husband's boat to Desmond Hume next month as he will need it to complete his mission here. Libby nodded and shut the eyes of her dead husband. We are then brought back to the present, where Desmond regained his consciousness and opened his eyes to Hurley and Ben. Hurley who was happy that his friend is alright hugged him immediately. Desmond then asked where is Jack and if he is alright which brought Hurley and Ben back into reality. Meanwhile, Vincent is barking and motioning for Rose and Bernard to show up. Soon Rose and Bernard came and were shocked to see the lifeless body of Jack. Rose then said" Bernard, it must have been Locke, this would have been our fate if Desmond didn't comply. "Bernard then replied "Desmond must have fought against Locke." Soon noises could be heard approaching the couple. It was Hurley,Ben and Desmond who followed the blood stains of Jack. Both group are surprised to see each other. Hurley is so happy that he yelled "Rose,Bernard you are alive!I thought you were goners" and he hugged both Rose and Bernard. The couple hugged Hurley as well. The couple was glad to see Desmond in one piece and asked him what happened to Locke and informed him that Locke killed Jack. Ben said "That wasn't Locke. It was what you call the monster. It seems that it can take the forms of dead people just like John and my daughter Alex." Rose and Bernard were wary about Ben's statement but Hurley and Desmond confirmed it to be true and that Ben have changed and there's nothing to worry about. Hurley then say we should bury Jack and he soon went and searched for the van. Then, a flashback was shown. Ilana was helping Libby to dress up as a mad woman and sent her to the mental hospital and when they went in the mental hospital they spotted Hurley. Ilana then said "Good luck with your mission sister. We need to be sure the replacement of our father is a worthy one." We are then brought back to the present where Hurley have found the van and drove it with Ben, Desmond,Rose, Bernard, Vincent and Jack's body behind. Soon the group arrived at the beach and started digging a hole. They placed Jack into the hole as Hurley gave a speech. "Jack was a great man. He was an amazing doctor and leader. He didn't ask to be chosen but he was still chosen. He made sure that we survived and get to go home. He was a man of science but he soon turned into both a man of science and a man of faith. He took responsibility as the guardian of the island but he then gave it to me. He even sacrificed himself to save everyone. I will make sure that I will be the best guardian of the island that you hopes for Jack. The group then buried Jack's body next to Locke's. Both men of faith side by side. Hurley then said"As my first act as the guardian,I will let Desmond go home. Rose and Bernard you can tag along with him too." The couple replied that they decided to stay at the island. So Desmond would be the only one to return home. Hurley then drove everyone to where the Elizabeth is as he decided it's the best way to bring Desmond home. Along the journey, Hurley asked Desmond how did he get the boat. Desmond replies that a lady named Elizabeth gave the boat to him for his competition which eventually led him to the island. Suddenly, Libby's ghost appeared to Hurley to tell him that she was the woman which shocked Hurley. Hurley was shocked and said in excitement and a bit of sadness."Wow Libby just told me she was the one who gave you the boat. I think it's fate as if Locke would say." The others except for Ben looked in confusion and Ben soon said that Hurley have gained the ability to speak to the dead. Desmond asked who exactly is Libby. Rose and Bernard replied that Libby was one of the survivors of the plane crash but she was shot and died the day before Desmond returned to the island. "What a coincidence" said Rose. Desmond replied with "Don't mistake coincidence for fate." Soon the group arrived at their destination and Desmond boarded Elizabeth. Hurley told him to tell everyone who left the island about the new rule which Desmond replied with"I will. See you in another life brotha."
