Emma called a town meeting. And everyone in Storybrooke came to the town hall. But, when they did, everybody was talking to each other until Emma stepped forward. "Everyone! Everyone!" Emma shouted. "I know that you're frightened and confused, but I need you to listen."

"Is it true?" Dr Archie Hopper asked from his seat. "Is there some monster keeping us from leaving town?"

"Is that what happened to my brothers?" Leroy then asked.

"Yes. We believe that people are being abducted as they approach the town line," Emma answered as Regina walked in. But she stayed at the back. Watching.

"So, we're trapped here?" Granny asked. "Again?"

"It's no different from last time."

"Last time, we lost our memories," Leroy pointed out. "This time, we get dragged into the woods."

"Do you know who cursed us?" Belle asked. "And why they want us here?"

"I'm working on it," Emma answered. "But it's hard to figure out who cast a curse when no one remembers the last year."

"Who? Isn't it obvious?" Leroy asked. "Do you remember something?"

"Who cast the last curse? Who knows how to use it? Who's the only one who ever did anything like this before? The Evil Queen!" The townspeople all started to murmur in unison, and all turned behind them.

"For once, I am just as clueless as the rest of you," Regina told the crowd.

"You expect us to believe that?" Doctor Whale asked.

"It's the truth."

"This curse has your fingerprints all over it," Granny stated.

"You did take away all our memories once before," Belle said.

"You still have your big house."

"You think I care about my house?" Regina asked as she walked down the aisle. "About my job? About any of these things?"

"Regina, please …" Dr Hopper said. "Tell us the truth. We'll understand."

"Speak for yourself," Granny told Dr Hopper.

"I am telling the truth," Regina told them. "If I had done this, there's one thing I'd have right now. My son."

"Yeah, you're not getting anywhere near him until I get to the bottom of what's happening here," Emma said.

Regina stared at Emma. "So now you're siding with the rabble? I thought we'd been through this. I'm innocent."

"Yes. That's what you said before. But now I'm wondering if I believe you."

Regina watched as the crowd started to stand around Emma. "Don't come any closer," she warned, putting her hands up.

"Regina," Emma began.

"Do you remember whom you're dealing with?" Regina asked, watching more of the crowd stand up. She sighed. "If you all want me to be the Evil Queen, then fine, that's exactly who you'll get." She pushed her hands away from her, magically causing an earthquake, before she vanished in a cloud of purple smoke.

Once the shaking subsided, everyone looked around. "I knew she did it," Leroy said.

Emma began to walk towards the door. Dr Whale stopped her. "We can't let her get away,' he said.

"I won't."

Regina was in her Mayor's office, sitting at her desk, where Emma found her. Closing the door, Emma strode over to the desk. "An earthquake?" she asked.

"I had to make a statement," Regina said. "And you're fine. So do you think they bought it?"

"Yeah. I think they did," Emma answered.

"Good."

"Nice work. Now let's figure out who cursed this town."

Emma ensured she locked the door while Regina grabbed a box of magic ingredients and put it on the glass table.

"How long do you think we have?" Regina asked, opening the box.

"Until whoever cast this curse realises you're not actually on the run from me? But, till then, no one's going to suspect we're working together."

"Let's see it," Regina said as she took the memory potion's vial. She held it up. A small globule left.

"That enough?"

"To use? No. But to replicate? I think so."

"We can start waking people up. And figure out whom the hell sent everyone back here."

"And I can make Henry remember me." Regina sighed and then nodded slightly. "Thank you."

"For what? We haven't done anything yet."

Regina turned to grab some beakers on the shelf behind her. "You saw how quick this town was to blame me. But you believe I didn't cast that curse. I know that wasn't easy for you."

"Sure it was. I knew you were telling the truth."

"Even though everything that has happened has put me next to Henry? Maybe this was some super complicated ingenious plan."

"It wasn't. My superpower may not be perfect, but with you, Regina, I always know when you're lying," Emma stated as Regina turned her head. "And this time, you're not. You didn't do it."

"Even though you know I can't live without him."

"There you go, telling the truth again. So with that, and what the Doctor has said, it tells me you are telling the truth. You didn't cast this curse."

"And what has the Doctor been saying?"

"Some other witch has cast it. He doesn't know who. And he can't track her here. He says something is blocking him."

Regina sighed. Time Lords. Always a complication with them. "Well, at least that's a start."
