He didn't think he would see her again, or not at something other than a Vanguard event and in the distance. Great was his surprise when he saw that she entered his school, in the same classroom.
He hadn't wanted to get close to her then, not out of meanness or dislike of her, but was busy trying to form his Cardfight Club, plus all the attention Kourin brought was too much to even get close to.

For a moment I thought about using the Aichi and Kourin from the previous anime, but I wanted to give their more current versions a chance, plus Bushiroad never made an official reunion of the Aichi and Kourin from the previous Vanguard after Legion Mate ... how sad , but hey, that's the way it is.
