Leaving Mr Gold and the Doctor with Neal's lifeless body (and knowing that Mr Gold would want some alone time with him and that the Doctor would want to be with Mr Gold), Emma found her father and told him what had happened. And who the Witch was: Zelena.

They knew that she had been posing as the midwife for Mary Margaret's unborn child, and now, they had to protect her.

They burst into the loft, Emma armed with their guns, and it startled Mary Margaret. She turned around. "David! What's going on?"

"Where's Zelena?" Emma asked, taking a look around.

"In the bathroom. Why?"

David took out his sword and gestured for Emma to follow him to the bathroom in the corner. He went to one door. Emma to the other door. Nodding at each other, they simultaneously kicked the two doors open, and both entered - only to find an empty room. And an open window.

"She had to know we were coming," David stated.

"I'll call Regina," Emma said, taking out her phone. "We need to get a protection spell around this apartment right away."

"Does anyone wanna tell me what's going on?" Mary Margaret asked. Like why they were hunting down her midwife.

David put his sword back in his holster and made his way back to his wife. "I'm just glad you're safe," he said.

"Of course, I'm safe. Why wouldn't I be safe?"

"It's Zelena," David told her.

"She's the Wicked Witch," Emma added.

"What?" Mary Margaret asked. "How do you know?"

"Gold told us. Neal brought him back before …" Emma began to say, but it was still fresh for her. Neal's death. She went quiet.

Mary Margaret walked over to her daughter. "Before what, Emma? What happened?"

"Neal's dead."

Mary Margaret sighed. "Emma … I'm so sorry," she said and hugged her.

Both Mr Gold and the Doctor were sitting on two rocks in the forest, overlooking Neal's body. The Doctor turned to Mr Gold and patted his knee. "His death won't be in vain," he said. "None of this will be in vain. We will stop her."

"I do doubt that," Zelena said as she approached the two of them. The Doctor stood up and turned

around, getting his sonic screwdriver out of his coat pocket. Zelena ignored him and walked closer, looking over at Neal's lifeless body. "That was rather ill-timed, wasn't it?" she asked Mr Gold. "Your son was coming to the surface and staging that little escape." She chuckled. "But I can see he'll no longer be a problem."

Mr Gold didn't look at her. "My son may be gone, but he gave his life so I could tell the Saviour who you are, Zelena. And now, it's only a matter of time before she and the others find you and kill you. Unless, of course, I manage it first."

"Rumple, no," the Doctor told him. "No more death. I won't allow it."

Zelena smirked. She took out the Dark One dagger. "He won't be able to hurt me," she said, stroking the side of Mr Gold's head with the dagger. "But you're more than welcome to try. I do so enjoy watching futility wreck a man's will." She held out the dagger at Mr Gold, and he took a step back. "There. Much better. Now that your head is no longer cluttered, everything's working properly. And it's much more entertaining."

"You may control me, Zelena, but it's over," Mr Gold told her. "They know who you are. You'll never get close to Snow White's baby now. To any of them. To whatever unholy desires are."

"They may know who I am now, but it isn't Snow's baby I am after. It's still an option, yes, but there is another. One much more powerful for what I need," Zelena told Mr Gold.

Mr Gold looked at her. His mouth was opening slightly. If it wasn't Snow's baby she wanted, then he knew who's baby she was after: the Professor and Clara's.

"But, there's one thing I do have," Zelena continued, stepping closer to Mr Gold and placing the dagger on the side of his head again. "I have you, Rumplestiltskin. I have your beautiful brain. So, be a good little Dark One, and get back in your cage."

Mr Gold tried to resist for a moment, but he did what she told him to do. He began to walk back to his cage. Zelena watched before she turned to the Doctor.

"You won't get away with this," the Doctor told her.

"But I will," Zelena said. "I will get everything that I desire. Everything that I want. And your son will help me with that. Well, his daughter. Tell him I hope he's taking good care of her for me. And that I will see him very soon." She let out a chuckle before poofing away in a cloud of green smoke, leaving the Doctor by himself.

He looked at where Zelena just stood before sighing and kicking a nearby stump, yelling in frustration.
