Not long after Mr Gold had arrived at his shop, Regina showed up. Emma and her parents followed her. She marched towards the shop counter. "What do you know of Zelena's plans?" she asked.
"Regina. Now may not be the best time," Belle said. "Rumple's been through a lot. We don't know what Zelena's put him through. The amount of suffering he's had."
Mr Gold took a look at Belle. "It's quite all right," he said. "If it would help defeat that witch." He looked at Regina. "I don't know what she is planning. But I do know what ingredients she wants. Talismans. Symbols of courage, love and knowledge."
"She already has Charming's sword," Regina said. "And wants my heart." "And our baby," David added.
"She wants a baby," Mr Gold said. "There is another." Emma took a glance at Ellie in Clara's arms. "Ellie?" "That's right," the Professor said with a slight nod.
"Okay. David's sword. Regina's heart. Your baby. But knowledge?" Emma asked. "I believe that would be from me."
"I did hear her say that she had his brain," the Doctor said. "Called it his beautiful brain." "A brain, a heart and courage?" Emma repeated. "She's not going to sing, is she?"
"No, no," Mr Gold said. "Those are ingredients for a spell. But none that I have ever heard of. But leave that to us. We'll scourge these books until we find whatever it is that Zelena is planning. You have my word. She will not take my goddaughter."
Zelena arrived in the storm cellar, and she looked around. She no longer had Mr Gold. Her plan – what she was after – was slowly falling apart. She paced around before stopping and looking at the floor around the cage and the spinning wheel inside it. The floor still had scattered gold flakes around.
She waved her hand across the floor and magically pushed all the gold flakes into one pile. "This will have to do," she said and waved her hand over the pile of gold again – magically turning it into a golden brain.
