Kron Meets the Country Bears

Kron stepped out of the corridor of darkness and looked around. There was green grass all around him and a barn in the distance. Where am I going to find another member of my organisation? thought Kron.

"Keep off the grass, please," came a grizzly voice.

Kron turned to see an overweight, black bear wearing a cap staring at him. He turned and saw a sign that read, "Keep off the grass."

"I'm looking for those with strength in this world," said Kron, ignoring the bear's request.

"You'll be looking for the Country Bears then, but get off the grass first," replied the bear.

Kron ignored the bear and began walking towards the barn. Like I care what a fat bear thinks, he thought to himself. Kron winced as he felt a great weight on his head. He looked up to see the black bear on top of him.

"I may be chubby, but I'm quick," said the black bear.

Kron tried to get the black bear off him, but the bear was too quick for him. Kron growled.

"Fine, I'll get off your grass," said Kron, stepping off the grass.

"That's better. You know, you're a kind dinosaur when you listen to others," said the black bear.

Kron rolled his eyes.

"Name is Big Al, but that don't matter to you I'd figure," said Big Al.

"Where are the Country Bears?" asked Kron.

"Road trip. They been picking up all the members. They should be back any minute now."

Kron snorted and waited, keeping off the grass.

They had better be here soon.

After about an hour, a large bus stopped at the barn.

Kron walked over to the bus and saw a small bear stepping off the bus.

"Wow! A real-life dinosaur!" said the small bear, looking up at Kron.

"Hey, he could make a great addition to our band," said another bear as they stepped off the bus.

Three more bears got off the bus and began talking amongst themselves about Kron, who looked at them with curious disdain.

Eventually, a bear with round glasses walked up to Kron.

"Alright, you're in the band. Can you play piano?"

Later that night, Kron found himself playing a country medley alongside four grizzly bears, attempting to play piano in the right key to a large audience.

The sounds from the piano clashed with the country vibes, and the audience began to leave to avoid Kron's clunky piano playing.

"Well great, Henry, he scared them all away. How are we going to save Bear Hall now?" said one of the bears.

Then a man in a suit appeared.

"Oh look, the Dorky Bears couldn't make the money needed to save your stupid hall. I will personally enjoy destroying this place," said the man.

Kron went to attack the man, but the Country Bears went to stop him.

"Don't try it. That's Benny Bogswaggle. He managed to trap all four of us earlier today."

"You mean one man managed to trap four grizzly bears?" Kron frowned at the Country Bears. "I was under the impression that you were the strongest in this world, not the weakest."

The Country Bears looked on in amazement as Kron stomped over to Benny and picked him up with his teeth like he was nothing. Kron opened a portal of darkness and went to step through it.

"Wait!" Kron looked back to see the small bear waving his arms. "Thank you. For saving Bear Hall."

Kron snarled and swung his tail through the walls of Bear Hall, stepping through the portal as Bear Hall collapsed on the Country Bears.

Pathetic, thought Kron.

Kron appeared in The World That Never Was and looked down at Benny, who died of fright.

"What a waste of time," said Kron to himself. He noticed a great weight on his head and looked up to see the black bear again.

"I may be chubby, but I'm quick," said Big Al.
