This is the 4th chapter. Okay, this is all you've been waiting for. This is how it all started when Elijah became a pony and changed his name to Comet Stardust. So, hope you guys enjoy and go easy on me.

Dying Wish

In the city of Brooklyn, New York, there was a young boy named Elijah who was living with his Italian mother named Mary and his American father named Chris while his uncle Alonzo and his aunt Giovanna were affiliated with the Italian Mafia for either recruiting new members or doing the illegal activities between drug dealing, weapons, or money laundering. Mary was working at the cafe as a waitress while helping her co-workers cook, mostly for the Italian cuisine and the Italian cake called Tiramusu. Chris became a surgeon at the hospital, but he's not just American, he's a Native American from the Powhaton tribe from Virgina. He's also the practitioner of the Canadian martial arts called Okichitaw. His father usually taught him martial arts and the history roots of the Native American while his mother taught him to speak Italian.

But when it's time for school, Elijah was usually called Eli by his only friend, Dante, an African American boy who grew up in the streets with his cousin and his friends. Though, he was usually getting bullied because of his heritage, being related to Alonzo and Giovanna, and getting into fights. The staff members of the school usually breaks up the fight, but not who started it when they constantly got Elijah to blame and not the other kids, who's bullying him. Sometimes, he was sent by the principals office while his parents visits to find out what was happening, mostly blaming the boy for no reason which his father doesn't approve of their actions do to neglecting of who really picked on him. Of course, Dante and his cousin, Antoine, help them out and clear up the misunderstanding which it got them appreciated for what they did. That has been going on for 3 months. When his 6th birthday come, Dante, his cousin, Antoine, and his friends came to visit for Elijah and give him a present, a CD music that was about an American rapper named 2Pac. Chris' family arrived along with Mary's family which of course, Alonzo and Giovanna still didn't approve of Elijah befriending Dante or anyone, lead into a conflict. All Elijah ever wanted is to have family and friends get along so they can have a party, but only because both his uncle and aunt are making things very hard for him and his life is starting to grow even more miserable.

One day after school, Alonzo and Giovanna arrived at his parent's house to inform their nephew that if anything happens to him, Elijah will carry out his work and become affiliated with the Italian Mafia. Of course, Chris never approves because they're not raising him to become a criminal which it also led into a conflict between the two, but Mary breaks up and forced them to leave the house, never set foot in this house again. Alonzo and Giovanna were furious about it and left. Unfortunately, Elijah have overheard everything and it really got him very sad, it left him heartbroken after what has transpired since they were about to be at the end of the rope. Chris and Mary are trying to make their son happy, trying to have a good life, but with everything that's transpired, it made everything very hard. Now, with Alonzo and Giovanna tried to get Elijah become an Italian Mafia when he grew older, they'll have to move way from New York and try to live in Virginia. Elijah doesn't want to leave Dante or anyone since they became good friends.

One night, Elijah secretly left them a note while running away from home since he couldn't even take any more of this. He can't take it from being picked on, getting into fights, being neglected and being blamed by the staff members, and having Alonzo and Giovanna making things difficult. However, he heard a fight in the alley which it happen to be Antione and his gang fighting against the other gang members while protecting Dante. Of course, Elijah is feeling helpless when he saw Dante hiding in the trash can, but he couldn't stand and do nothing as he pulls out his hunting knife that's decorated with feathers he got from his 6th birthday by his father, charge after the rival gang to help Antione.

Antione and his gang saw Elijah, while beating up the other gang members which they're probably thinking that either he's being stupid enough to fight them and head on, or tried to help them to protect Dante, but they don't have time to think while beating up the rival gang members. They were able to hold them off, but one of the gang members pull out a 9mm Glock and try to aim at Dante since they're protecting him. Elijah saw what he was about to do as he threw the hunting knife at him, impaled him at the shoulder, but the cost was that he's getting shot to the heart and the stomach, where the liver was at, which led to their dismay along with Dante. They're now angry as they shown no mercy, beating up the rival gang members until the police arrived to break up the riot. Dante came out and rush towards Elijah, who's breathing weakly.

"Eli! Eli, you okay man?!" Dante cried out, tried to get him up. "Eli! Hey! Eli!"

"Dante!" Antoine called him. "Come on, we gotta go, cuz'!"

"No, man! I'm not leaving Eli!" Dante protests.

"Sir, can you us your name?" The officer asks.

"I'm Dante! You gotta help, Eli's dying! He needs to get to the hospital!" Dante cried.

The ambulance arrived as the paramedics got out of the vehicle, getting the stretcher out and place it next to Elijah as they picked him up while trying to place the bandages around his chest to pressure the wound and place the air mask on his face for some oxygen. They then placed him on the stretcher and get him inside of the ambulance as they take him to hospital right away.

After few minutes later, Dante, Antione, and his gang members were waiting for the news of Elijah when Chris and Mary arrived at the hospital after hearing the news of their son. They walk towards them and spoke.

"What happen? What happen to Elijah?" Mary questions, desperately.

"Ma'am, we...we just saw Eli...he rushed to the alley and try to help us..." Antione explains.

"Why would be in there?!" Chris shouts furiously. "Did Alonzo put you into this?"

"No man, we never made a deal with that fool!" The teen name Duane told him. "He never liked us!"

"We were up in the alley while hearing the other gangs tried to fight our turf!" The other teen named Marcus adds.

"He did it because he tried to help..." Dante said. "...while protecting me from a guy who pulled a gun."

"A Gun?!" Mary shouts, in dread.

"What did he do?" Chris asks weakly, hoping Elijah didn't get shot.

"He threw that knife at that sucka. But he...he got shot...dead center...and...to the stomach" Antione told him.

It got both Chris and Mary very devastated when they told him that Elijah is being shot which it got her crying her tears out with a heavy heart. Chris hold her tightly with a sorrowful yet devastated expression. Dante, Antione, and the gang told them they're all very sorry for what happen to Elijah. One of the doctors arrived and spoke.

"Are you Elijah's parents?" He asked.

"Yes, we are." Chris confirms sadly. "Can we see our son?"

The doctor then leads Elijah's parents, Dante, Antione, and the gang to room 105, showing Elijah, who's now on the brink of dying. They then walk towards Elijah as Mary embraced him while sobbing and Chris is next to him. Dante, Antione, and his gang were close to him.

"Mom...Dad...I'm sorry..." Elijah weakly apologize.

"Don't speak, we understand why you ran away." Chris told him.

"He ran away?! Why would he do that, man?" Antione asks with shock.

"We have an idea why." Mary cried. "We all know it was mostly because of the school, but it was also my hard-headed brother."

"He pressured on us for getting Elijah for working in the Mafia. I didn't approve any of this, we don't raise our boy to be a criminal." Chris adds with a stern expression.

"We can understand that. But hey, he's been a good friend to my cousin, you know what I'm sayin'." Antione said, earned a nod from Chris.

Mary then look at Elijah with a sad smile and spoke.

"I'm sorry after what you've been through, we didn't want any of this to happen." Mary apologizes. "I'll always love you. In here."

She took Elijah's hand and put it in her heart. Elijah was sad to know that he was dying because of being shot, but he was happy to know that he got to see his parents and his friends one last time. Antione and his gang then pulled out a boom box and play 2pac which the song 'Keep Ya Head Up'. Chris and Mary may not be fond of rapping, but knew that 2pac is a great rapper.

Later that night after they left, Elijah looked out of the window. He saw one bright star that's brightly shining, decided to make one last wish before he died.

'Star night...Star bright...First star I see tonight...I wish I may...I wish I might...have the I wish I make tonight...' Elijah mentally thought. 'I wish my parents would have a second chance on being good parents and to live in Virginia, away from uncle Alonzo and aunt Giovanna. And as for myself, I wish that I would be given a new chance with a new family of my own. A family that will appreciate me for who I am.'

Just then, his heart started beating slower and slower. But then his heart stops with a long, never ending beep on the heart monitor. The doctors have informed them that Elijah...is dead and it them devastated for hearing him passed away. And the doctor look at the clock, writing on a note 'Time of death: '8:47 PM'.

Meanwhile in Equestria, in a small town of Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle was in the park gazing at the stars before heading home and had a book of constellations for her to check out each of them.

Suddenly, she remembered to have forgotten something.

"I must've left one of my books somewhere by accident." Twilight said, walking around the park to find her missing book.

She lights up her horn to find it, but suddenly, she found herself near the Everfree Forest. She remembered adventuring the forest with her friends to find the Elements of Harmony to defeat Nightmare Moon and save Equestria. Twilight eventually found the book she was looking for. She then placed it into one of her saddlebags she had strapped around her.

"Perfect. Now to head back home and..."

Twilight was about to head out, but she suddenly saw a secret passage underneath a few bushes, revealing a tunnel leading to somewhere.

"Huh...I wonder where this leads." Twilight pondered.

She then stands a little bit too close to the tunnel, until it had a bit of sloping feature to it. Twilight eventually slipped and was sliding down the hall, screaming all the way here.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

She eventually made it towards the end of the tunnel, which leads her in the middle of the Everfree Forest and the Castle of the Two Sisters.

"Wh-Wh-Where am I?" Twilight asked, lights her horn.

She was worried at the moment as she looked around for some safer way back to Ponyville, until she saw some crystals and rocks forming a small Stonehenge, and some vines covered with a bunch of baby blue and purple flowers, which started to bloom and in the dark underneath the light of the full moon.

"Wow. It's...It's beautiful." Twilight said with awe.

She eventually took a look at the Stonehenge in front of her and walked over it carefully. She then took a look at the flowers around her, smiled at the flowers that are blooming. She walked over towards it, wondering what that special flower is. She slowly walked towards it, reached the pedestal, and took a sniff at the flower. But then, the flower sprayed some pollen in her face. It causes Twilight to cough and step back.

"I should probably head home." Twilight said, looking towards the sky while looking for a way to get to Ponyville. Then she saw the brightest star in the night sky. "Okay, that's the North Star. And since Ponyville is West of the Everfree Forest, it should be...this way."

With that, Twilight then headed towards West, hoping she would get back to the Golden Oak Library.

As she was walking, she wasn't paying attention to her stomach that's slowly swelling up. She did however, feel her stomach was growling.

'Huh. I'm feeling really hungry.' Twilight mentally thought. 'Maybe I should go pick up something for me and Spike before heading home.'

Then, she suddenly noticed something when her eyes were widen, and slightly furrowed with confusion and her eyes upwards.

'Wait a minute! Spike and I already ate dinner earlier! So why am I so hungry all of a sudden? Maybe it's not hunger...'

She then felt both the straps on her saddlebags begin to tighten up a small squeeze around her belly.

'My saddlebags are feeling a little tighter. Maybe I should...'

Twilight suddenly made a mistake for looking at the straps, but noticed her stomach was now bigger, as she went her eyes widen in concerning fright.

"What in a Celestia's name is happening to me?!" Twilight shouts with panic.

She then felt pain coming from her stomach, leaving no choice but to lay down on her side. She was crying in pain at how much it was hurting for her stomach. She then had no choice but to take off the saddlebags and lay them beside her. Twilight then starts breathing heavily, trying to ease the pain that was happening to her. Until a familiar sight appeared in her eyes.

Twilight moved her head, looked up and saw Fluttershy, who's walking over to her cottage.

"Fluttershy! Fluttershy! Please, help me!" Twilight called her.

Fluttershy heard Twilight's voice and then trotted over to her friend and saw how painfully and heavily swollen her belly was, until she knew what was happening.

"My goodness! Are you alright, Twilight?!" Fluttershy asked.

"I need to get back home, but my tummy's hurting so much I can't move!" Twilight said, but felt another painful nudge in her stomach. "Can you please help? I don't have much time."

"Absolutely! Just hold on!" Fluttershy said as she looks down and began to ask a rabbit. "Angel honey, gather some help so I can bring Twilight inside."

The rabbit named Angel saluted his paw and bounced over to the other animals and made some motivational communication asking for help, until they were all delighted to help. The animals divided into a few smaller portions and helped Fluttershy carry Twilight inside without harming her unexpected cargo that magically appeared inside her now completely round and bulbous belly.

After Fluttershy's animals finally got Twilight inside of the cottage, they carefully placed her onto her bed while Fluttershy put a few towels underneath her rear area, but kept the folded ones and a bowl of hot steamy water, along with her first aid kit next to her.

Suddenly, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Mario Star arrived inside of the cottage.

"TWILIGHT?!" They shouted in unison with worry.

"Oh, my stars, darling!" Rarity exclaims, trying to fix Twilight's mane with worry.

"Are you alright, sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"What happened to you?" Rainbow Dash asked, feeling weirded out of the situation, tilting her head in confusion.

"How did this happen?" Mario questions.

"It's sort of a funny story." Twilight said, given them an explanation of how her belly got big and swollen.

When she finished her explanation, Mario gasp in shock when he knows what Twilight is talking about.

"Twilight, did that flower has purple and blue petals?" Mario questions, earned a nod. "Twilight, that flower you saw is called a Maternity Flower!"

"A what?!" They shout in unison.

"A Maternity Flower! It's a magical flower that make any mares or any female creatures pregnant in an instant!" Mario told them, turns to Twilight. "Twilight, when you got sprayed by those flowers, instead of getting pregnant for 11 months, you get pregnant in an instant!"

"But that's impossible! That's not how it works!" Twilight exclaims in shock.

"I'm sorry Twilight, but there's no lie about that flower and you're about to deliver a foal." Mario told her. "However, that can only take effect for someone that has a dying wish of somepony at the age of 7 or under."

"And you're telling us that a creature with different species will come as a foal?" Rainbow Dash questions. "Like a dragon or a gryphon?"

"Yes, but we have to hurry! We've got to help Twilight deliver the foal!" Mario ordered, turns to Twilight. "Twilight, we'll do our best to help you, so just breathe and let us help you."

"Let us assist, dear." Rarity offered sweetly while Mario is at the rear area along with Fluttershy.

Twilight nods, until she looks down and saw Mario's hooves were all wet, meaning she was leaking from her section.

"Oh no!" Twilight shouted frightfully. "My water broke! It's coming!"

Then a huge bolt of pain came from her stomach.

"GAAAAAAAHHH!"

"Just try to relax Twilight, try to calm down and we'll get it done." Mario assures her.

"Okay, but hurry! I don't think I can hold it any longer!" Twilight said, saw Rarity placing a blanket around her belly, so she wouldn't be able to see what's going on.

"Just let Mario and Fluttershy handle it." Rarity suggests, turns to Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie, could you be on watch in case you see something?"

"Okie-dokie-lokie!" Pinkie Pie replied.

"Rainbow Dash, could you and Applejack support Twilight?" Fluttershy offered, earned a nod from the two mares.

Rainbow Dash held Twilight's hoof while Applejack placed her hoof behind her neck and one of her hoof and shoulder.

"We're right by your side, Twilight." Applejack told her, earned a nod from Twilight.

Twilight then started pushing to get the foal out of her. She felt the stinging session coming from her crotch area as she could now feel her private area stretching.

"GAAAAAHHH!" Twilight cried painfully. "It hurts so much!"

She then started breathing fast, but exhaled deeply without hyperventilating.

"Ooh! Here comes the head! Here comes the head!" Pinkie Pie replied happily, bouncing.

"Nows not the time for bouncing, Pinkie!" Mario shouts sternly, turns to Twilight. "Just one more push and we're done."

"Just take it easy, darling." Rarity assures her.

Twilight nods and started pushing which it's really painful for her. Both Fluttershy and Mario finally saw the small sack coming out of Twilight's rear, catching it while Rarity lights up her horn with blue magical aura and used a scalpel on Fluttershy's first aid kit to cut it open, and finally, the baby pony is born. Rarity then starts cleaning up the foal and wraps it around with a clean towel. However, the foal wasn't moving, until its horn was the only thing they could see.

Suddenly, the flowing light came out of nowhere and has inserted itself into a newborn foal.

"Guys! The foal!" Rainbow Dash shouts, points at the newborn foal as it suddenly started again, then stopped when it was at the age of 6.

They then saw the foals fur coat, mane, and tail starting to gain a new color. The foal has a pale light grayish mulberry fur coat, sapphire blue mane and tail with turquoise blue and sky-blue streaks. The hairstyle was banged and ruffled, like Twilight Sparkle's.

"So, this is the effect of those flowers?" Rainbow Dash inquires, stunned.

"Yes." Mario nods with confirm.

"Is...Is the foal okay?" Twilight asks weakly.

"Don't worry, darling. The foal is alright." Rarity assures her, holding the foal on her hoof, and showing it to Twilight.

"Oh my gosh...it's a colt, but...he looks just like me, and like somepony I know." Twilight said, until Rarity laid the colt beside her.

The girls and Mario felt very tired, and they decided to sleep in the cottage for the night. As the colt was still asleep, Twilight wanted to inspect the colt more, but she went under, wrapping her hooves around the colt. Fluttershy then removed the towels from under Twilight and then got everything she used, and then Rarity covered Twilight and the little colt up with the blanket, until the Mane 5, Mario, and Spike went to sleep. Hopefully, everything will make sense for Twilight in the morning.

The next day, Elijah started to awaken, as he slowly opened his eyes. He had no idea what has transpired or how he was still alive, but he did know one thing besides his heart beats normally. He felt something soft and warm pressed against his cheek. He opened his eyes, revealed his ocean blue eyes and looked around.

"Wh-Where am I?" Elijah asks.

He saw that he was in Fluttershy's cottage and sleeping on the bed, tucked underneath bedsheets and a blanket, but also wrapped in a motherly hug. Elijah was confused on how he ended up there or why he was being cuddled or who was doing it. He decided to carefully get up without waking up Twilight Sparkle, who hugged him and have a look around, but he suddenly lost his balance and fell off the bed.

"OW!" Elijah shouts. "How did I..."

He was surprised on how he didn't sound weak or dying because of being shot, but didn't wake up the others. He was about to pull his hand to his mouth until he saw that his right hand was a hoof.

"My hands!" Elijah exclaims.

He then looked around, trying to find an explanation to where he was and what he was. But first, he looked down at his body and saw that he was some kind of oddly colored pony, or in his case, horse. But, to make matters even more surprising, he what lies in his below the waist was of a male horse. He wasn't too happy of what he was seeing. He then began to realize that he made a wish before his death, and he got a second chance to live, but in a pony or horse form and got teleported into a different world that's filled with colorful ponies or horses. Elijah then tried to move around like a human would, trying to walk on only his hind legs, but he was really off balanced while trying to stand up like a human. But after the third step, he tripped and fell over down the stairs with an 'OOF!', lands on his stomach.

"Ouch!" Elijah groans.

"Sheesh. Talk about a good night sleep." Spike said as he went downstairs for a drink.

As he got himself for a cup of water, he heard something he didn't expect to hear. The voice was coming from a colt whimpering quietly. That made Spike stop and look around. He had no idea where that voice was coming from, but decided to run around the cottage, trying to find the colt. He followed the colt's voice, and stopped when he came across the room. He saw a colt, trying to leave the cottage.

"Wh-Whoa! Whoa!" Elijah grunts, trying to maintain his balance, but suddenly bumped into someone.

"GAH! Ow!" Spike grunts, rubbing his forehead while seeing stars.

But then he looked at the colt and Elijah was surprised by the dragon's appearance, causing the two to scream as they ran in the separate directions. Spike hid behind the couch, but Elijah, who somehow got the perfect balance ran outside the door and headed towards the Everfree Forest.

"Hey! Wait! Come back!" Spike shouts, went after him.

Elijah kept panting while running before Spike lost sight of him.

"Hey! Hey wait!" Spike shouts, but Elijah kept running and out of sight. "Aw, shoot!"

Meanwhile, at the Castle of the Two Sisters, Elijah ran towards the bed inside of an old bedroom, jumped on it, grabbed the blanket with his teeth, and covered himself up, trembling under the covers.

"Mom, Dad, Dante, I wish you're here." Elijah cried.

Spike was running back inside of Fluttershy's cottage and suddenly saw Twilight and her friends having some tea so that she can recover from her magical labor, before they can help her, and Spike move in later. The seven of them looked towards the door to see Spike.

"Well, howdy, Spike." Applejack greets. "Did ya have a good nights rest?"

"Twilight! Mario! It's an emergency!" Spike exclaims, panting heavily and earned their attention.

"Spike, what is it?" Twilight questions with worry. "Is something wrong?"

"Did something happened?" Mario adds with a question.

"Remember when Twilight went into labor last night?" Spike asked.

"Yes, why?" Twilight asked.

"I just saw a colt walking around but he was moving around a little bit wobbly, but suddenly saw me before he did one thing ponies usually do when encountering a dragon: scream and run." Spike explains with panic. "And to make matters worse, he ran all away in there!"

When he pointed the view of the Everfree Forest at Fluttershy's door, it got the Mane 7 worried.

"Wait, what?" Rainbow Dash asked. "The colt's out there by himself?!"

"Was he okay?" Fluttershy asked.

"Tell us everything." Mario ordered.

"I wanted to calm him down by chasing after him, but to bring him back so I can make something for him to eat, but he was too fast and disappeared out of sight." Spike explains. "But I suddenly got a bad feeling of where he might've ended up. The Castle of the Two Sisters!"

"WHAT?!" The Mane 7 shouts in unison.

"Oh, that poor dear!" Rarity exclaims, placing her hoof over her chest. "He might get himself hurt!"

Twilight then placed Spike on her back and turns to them.

"C'mon, everypony! We got to get to the Castle of the Two Sisters!" Twilight said with determination.

Then the Mane 7 and Spike headed out of Fluttershy's cottage and headed towards the Everfree Forest. As they entered, Fluttershy was wondering about the colt.

"You don't think something might the scare the colt, do you?" Fluttershy asked.

"I sure hope not." Applejack said, hoping the colt is alright.

"Maybe he needs a friend!" Pinkie Pie exclaims, rushing ahead.

"He's new to this world and it got him scared of his new form." Mario points out.

"What matters right now is search and rescue." Twilight said. "We have to find the colt before something happens to him."

They continued running through the Everfree Forest, trying to find the colt an bring him to safety.

Back at the castle, Elijah was still covering himself up, hiding from the creature that caught his eyes, but was also crying and shaking because of the surroundings he was experiencing, realizing that the Everfree Forest wasn't a good place for a child to live. He was scared and lonely, he didn't know how long he hid under these covers, but didn't want to come out. But one thing came to Elijah: he had to use the bathroom, but didn't know if this castle has any toilets. Elijah slowly and carefully got out of the bed, headed towards the exit of the castle. He was embarrassed that he had to take a leak because he had no idea how to in his current form he had now, but he had no choice but to improvise. Elijah really had to go, so he walked over behind the bush in case someone came in and saw him. Elijah finished up quickly and headed back inside. But as he went into the doors, he felt something disturbing and hearing voices.

"There's the castle!"

Elijah gasped, rushed back inside of the castle, and then headed back towards the room and hides by covering himself again. He shivered in fear while whimpering and crying at the same time, hoping that he wouldn't be hurt. He waited for the owners of the voices go away. But then, he heard the sound of hoofsteps coming in.

"That must be the colt." The voice of Twilight said which Elijah didn't recognize. "Let's get him out of there, it's not safe for him."

Elijah then felt something wrap around the blanket, pulling him as well.

"Should we at least see if he's okay, first?" The voice of Fluttershy suggests. "Look at the little guy. Even though we can't see him, he must be scared to death."

"She's right, Twilight, we can't rush things and have him scared and run away." The voice of Mario agrees.

"I agree, darling." The voice of Rarity agrees.

"You and Mario have a point, Fluttershy." The voice of Twilight said. "Let's see if he's okay."

Elijah was placed back down on the bed, felt something go across his back, it was a hoof rubbing his back. Then, the end of the blanket was pulled out. Elijah saw that the ones who was in the room with him. He saw seven colorful ponies or horses that were bigger and older than him. Three unicorns, Two Pegasi, and Two earth ponies. And...all of them were shocked to see Elijah's appearance.

"What the?!" The Mane 7 shouts.

However, it got Elijah surprised and pulled the covers back to him, hiding from them underneath the bed. He was shaking even more than usual.

"I don't believe it!" Twilight exclaims. "Mario, you were right about the flower!"

"He looked just like you!" Spike said in shock.

"That's because it's part of the effects of the Maternity Flower, but there's something else we don't know." Mario explains.

"I don't know too much 'bout magic, how do we even know that this colt is dangerous?" Applejack asks.

"Only one way to find out!" Rainbow Dash said, clasping her hooves together.

"Oh no no no no! He's already frightened too much!" Rarity protests.

"Because we've frightened him. The only way for him to get him to talk to us if we don't alarm him, but calm him down. He did look like me, but his coat and his mane were also familiar." Twilight adds with a glare.

Elijah was trembling and crying, but then he felt the covers being pulled off of him. Elijah looked at the seven ponies with fear in his eyes, backing towards the wall behind him underneath the bed.

The Mane 7 looked at each other in confusion, but concern. Twilight walked towards Elijah, as she was also getting a little worried for the colt.

"Are you alright, sweetheart?" Twilight asks with worry.

Elijah then panicked that the ponies could talk before he crawled backwards, still shaking.

"Get back! Stay away from me!" Elijah shouts.

"Whoa, whoa, it's okay." Twilight said, tried to calm him down. "Everything's going to be alright."

She then reached out her hoof for him while Elijah looked away from her.

"Hey, you don't have to be scared, I won't hurt you." Twilight assures him.

Elijah then tried crawling away from them, but Twilight grabbed him and pulled him out from underneath the bed with her magic, and pulled him over for a hug, gently rubbing his back.

"Shhhhh...Shhhh...Just relax." Twilight said, soothing him.

For some reason, Elijah is starting to calm down a little as he leaned against Twilight's foreleg and nuzzled her chest. Twilight then smiled motherly while seeing the poor colt cuddle with her fur.

"Do you remember what happened before waking up here?" Twilight asks.

"I was a completely different species before waking up like this." Elijah replies, still shaking.

"Mario told us about that. So, what were you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "A gryphon? A dragon?"

"No." Elijah shook his head.

"What species were you? And where did you come from?" Mario questions.

"I...I was originally a human. And...I'm from Brooklyn, New York. It's part of the state and the city from the US, on Earth." Elijah explains where he came from.

"A human?" Twilight asked in confusion.

"Ain't that the species that Lyra Heartstrings was talkin' 'bout?" Applejack asks curiously.

"Hmm...Now that you mention it, she did." Mario said with a ponder, but turns to Elijah. "But I'm gonna have to guess, you made a wish before you died, did you?"

Elijah then realizes what Mario is asking, formed a sad smile.

"I did." Elijah confirms.

"Better life, I'm guessing?" Mario inquires, earned a nod from the colt. "Well, that's part of the effects of the Maternity Flower, it's a flower that can make any female species pregnant in an instant. Also, the other effect is the soul can be transferred and be reborn, but only if someone who has a dying wish."

"So I'm...stuck like this?" Elijah asks, biting his lip.

"I'm afraid so." Mario confirms with a sigh.

"But I'm sure we'll figure something out. Let's get you out of this place. But first, introductions. My name is Twilight Sparkle." Twilight introduces herself, motions her hoof to Spike. "The baby dragon over there is my assistant, Spike, which you met him earlier."

Spike lets out a reply with a wave and a nervous chuckle.

"Ah'm Applejack." Applejack introduces herself.

"I'm Mario Star." Mario introduces himself.

"I'm Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Dash introduces herself.

"I'm Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie Pie introduces herself happily.

"I'm Rarity." Rarity introduces herself.

"And I'm Fluttershy." Fluttershy introduces herself with a soft tone.

"Can you please tell us your name?" Twilight asks.

"I'm...I'm...I'm Elijah." Elijah replied. "I was usually called Eli, for short."

"Elijah?" Twilight asks, pondering. "Never heard a name like that, but it's nice to meet you."

Twilight then hugged him again. She then lifted Elijah up and off the ground where the blanket was, then she took the blanket and put it back onto the bed, until Rarity neatly reset everything it was before Elijah laid on it.

"Let's get you out of here. It's not safe for you to be out in this part of the forest." Twilight suggests.

Elijah only responds with a nod, but before they left the forest after leaving the castle, Rainbow Dash spoke up.

"But would you guys honestly believe that we would harm a filly or a colt, if he or she had a spirit of Nightmare Moon or not?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"Oh, I do concur, dear. That would be a disastrous thing to do so." Rarity agrees.

"Girls, we already beat Nightmare Moon, remember? I highly doubt that if she ever possesses somepony." Mario states with a glare.

"Nightmare Moon? Who is she?" Elijah asks curiously.

"Nightmare Moon is also known as the Mare in the Moon, she was banished by Princess Celestia when she tried to bring the eternal night." Twilight explains. "1000 years ago, Nightmare Moon is free, and we have to get the Elements of Harmony while journey through the Everfree Forest."

"Everfree Forest?" Elijah repeats.

"This is where we are." Mario points out with a small smile. "This is the Everfree Forest."

Elijah then looks around, begins to understand where he currently is. He then feels a bit scared as he hugged Twilight, who's still standing which it got Rarity noticed.

"Are you feeling alright, sweetie?" Rarity asked.

"I'm...I'm scared." Elijah answered.

"Don't worry, sugarcube. We're right here." Applejack assures him.

"I'm just nervous how others they might react, seeing a human inside this body." Elijah told her.

"You'll get used to it, darling." Rarity said, then look at Elijah's flank which he's not comfortable. "And it seems your flank was blank. It's a good thing that flower manage to save your spirit and not Nightmare Moon came to take over."

All of the ponies looked at Elijah's flank, including himself.

"What about my...flank?" Elijah asked. "Sorry, I'm just used to say either hips or thighs."

"That makes sense." Spike said, understands. "Let me guess, humans are bipedal like me, right?"

Elijah gives him a nod with confirm.

"Well, Elijah." Twilight said, starts explaining. "Nightmare Moon had a cutie mark, a white crescent moon over a blotch with purple, but the flower, that's a different story, you've somehow bonded with my DNA when your spirit, including both your mind and soul entered your body, and gave your life again. It would seem that you are just going to have to find your mark on your own."

"My mark?" Elijah repeats in confusion.

"Your cutie mark, specifically." Mario explains. "It's mark that represents your talent, which it's a trait you're good at."

"Like mine, for example, my cutie mark represents my love and inspiring traits for fashions." Rarity said, showing her cutie mark of three diamonds.

"My cutie mark represents my talent for planning parties and make ponies happy!" Pinkie Pie said, showing off her cutie mark of three balloons.

"My cutie mark represents helpin' out my family's Apple Farm." Applejack said, showing off her cutie mark of three apples.

"My cutie mark represents also helping out my family's Apple Farm, but I'm also the jack-of-all-trades." Mario said, showing off his cutie mark of an apple with a golden star and a golden ribbon.

"M-My cutie mark represents my love for the animals, and how much care they need." Fluttershy said, showing off her cutie mark of three butterflies.

"My cutie mark represents my love for speed and racing!" Rainbow Dash said, showing of her cutie mark of a cloud shooting a rainbow-colored lightning bolt.

"And my cutie mark represents how good at magic I'm good at." Twilight said. "Ponies are normally able to get their cutie marks at the younger age, kinda like you or older, but it just takes time for them to be discovered. Now, how about if we get out of here?"

Elijah nods with a respond.

"We better keep a close eye on Elijah." Rarity suggests. "It's so that he'll have a comfortable journey back."

"Although, since he's similar of Twilight's appearance as a colt, he seems okay in my book. I just hope other ponies might understand clearly." Rainbow Dash said, gently rubbing his head.

"He's still young, Rainbow Dash." Twilight told him. "It may take some time for that to happen. But now, we need to focus on getting Elijah through Ponyville, and out of sight from any other ponies in Ponyville since he's still new to this place, and possibly nervous."

"That's a good idea." Spike agrees. "Well, we should get going."

"Good idea." Applejack agrees. "There are a lot of dangerous critters here, and we don't wanna disturb any of 'em. Let's go."

Then the eight of them headed out of there. Elijah had a hard time trying to catch up with the others, but still trying. Twilight then used her magic to pick him up and placed him on her back. Then they all left. Twilight then saw Elijah hiding underneath her mane, smiled warmly as she kept walking.

It took Twilight and her group a while to get to the Golden Oak Library without drawing attention, since Twilight kept Elijah out of sight from other ponies as they went through town by having him hide underneath her mane. As soon as they got in, Spike closed the door since he was the last one in and then walked back over to the group.

"Okay, we're clear." Spike said.

"And just in time as well." Twilight said.

Elijah looked around to see some boxes.

"Um, Twilight? Why are we in a library, and what's with the boxes?" Elijah asks in confusion.

"Spike and I are moving in, sweetie. We live here now." Twilight told him with a smile. "There's a bedroom upstairs. It's just gonna take us some time to get settled in. Now, we should continue unboxing some stuff."

No sooner than did Elijah expect, his stomach growled loudly, making him blush nervously as he sat on his haunches and put both his hooves on his stomach.

"Sorry, I haven't eaten anything sine lunchtime yesterday." Elijah apologizes.

"Looks like you definitely need something to eat." Twilight states, turns to Spike. "Spike, why don't you get started on preparing lunch for him, and maybe for us when we finish?"

"Well, since you say so, I'll might as well get started on making it." Spike said, turns to Elijah. "Don't worry, Elijah. I'll make you a nice big platter for you."

And with that, Spike head towards the kitchen.

Elijah looked around to see the others helping Twilight move in. Elijah somehow received his lunch which were two tomato, cucumber, and lettuce sandwiches with white bread.

"Thank you." Elijah thanked him, as he took his sandwiches and ate both of them. After 2 or 3 minutes, Elijah finished his sandwiches, and he was now full.

When they all finished unboxing and sorted everything, Twilight walked over to Elijah, but she and the others saw him sitting on the couch crying. Twilight and the others are worried about him, Twilight and Mario went over to him and saw some tears flows down to his cheeks.

"Elijah? What's wrong, sweetie?" Twilight asks, sitting on the couch next to him, and pulling the poor colt towards her for a hug and rubbing his back.

"Y-You've been s-so n-nice to me." Elijah sobbed. "N-Nobody's ever b-been so n-nice to m-me."

"Elijah? Did something happen to you?" Mario questions, want some answers.

"Like I said, I was from Brooklyn, New York on earth. Not too long ago, my parents were trying to raise me the best they can, until my Uncle Alonzo and Aunt Giovanna make things harder for us since they're affiliated with the Italian Mafia instead of helping my parents. I was being picked on and get into fights by kids my age because of me being related to my uncle and aunt, and I'm being discriminated from my heritage. Dante is the only friend I have, and he accepted of who I am along with his cousin and the gang. After my 6th birthday, it got even worse since Uncle Alonzo made it even harder for them because he wanted me to become a mafia. But one night, I ran away from home, and I couldn't handle the pressure because of Uncle Alonzo and Aunt Giovanna making our lives harder. And next I knew, I got myself involved in the crossfire because Dante is hiding from the other gang members. So, I helped Antonie and his gang, but the cost was that...I...I was shot." Elijah explained himself.

It made the girls and Spike gasped, Rarity and Fluttershy covered their mouths with their hooves. Mario kept calm, but he's angry which it confirmed of his suspicions. Twilight tightened her hug and rubbed Elijah's back as he began to cry.

"Shh...Shh...It's okay." Twilight said, soothing him to get him to calm down.

"Those nasty creatures!? What kind of mare and stallion would treat their family members like a useless piece of trash?!" Rarity growled with anger.

"I agree!" Fluttershy agrees angrily. "Nopony should ever treat a family member like that! Not ever!"

"If I ever see them, I'd give them a good bucking!?" Mario snarled with anger.

"I can't believe they'd do something so abusive like that!" Applejack exclaims.

"So, what are we going to do with the colt now?" Rainbow Dash questions.

"Twilight." Mario called her. "I think it's best that we should alert Princess Celestia about this."

"I actually haven't thought of that!" Twilight exclaims.

"Now's probably a good time." Rainbow Dash suggests.

"Alright." Twilight replied with confirm. "It's now time to write to the Princess. Ready, Spike?"

Spike pulled out a quill and a piece of parchment, prepared to write. He was about to write what Twilight was about to say.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Last night, when I was gazing at the stars, I suddenly figured I dropped a book from my saddlebags, meaning I left it in the Everfree Forest by mistake, so I went to get it. But suddenly as I got it, I noticed a tunnel underneath the ground, and wonder where it led to. I found out quickly when I fell and slid down that tunnel.

I found myself somewhere deep into the Everfree Forest. I looked around and found a maze that looked like stone walls and bushes with vines covered with flowers that were blooming in the light of the full moon. As I inspected a flower, it sprayed some pollen in my face.

I then had to head back to town, using the North Star to lead me back to Ponyville. But as I was walking, I was starting to get really hungry for some reason. And the straps on my saddlebag started to feel a little too tight. But I was surprised on what I saw when I was about to loosen the straps. I became a pregnant mare. Mario explained to me about what that flower did to me. Apparently, that flower was called a Maternity Flower, a flower that brings a recently deceased young soul and lets it inhabit the body of a newborn foal. And apparently, the soul was of a 6-year-old boy by the name of Elijah. E-L-I-J-A-H. He's really confused on where he is.

So hopefully, you'll know what to do and respond as soon as possible if you receive a message.

And with that, Spike finished writing it as he rolls it up, and blew his green flames on it.

"There." Spike said. "Now all we can do now...is wait."

"Um, Twilight?" Elijah asks. "Where's the bathroom? I have to go like...really bad."

"It should be upstairs somewhere." Twilight said.

"I'll take him, darling." Rarity said.

Rarity used her magic to pick up Elijah and place him on her back since he couldn't walk like a pony still, and then the two of them went upstairs to the bathroom.

"So, how long will it take for the Princess ta respond?" Applejack asked.

But then, there a sound of knocking. All of the ponies and a dragon were surprised. Twilight carefully walked towards the door and opens it. Outside, there was Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

However, there's a Royal Guard who's armor was different than the other Royal Pegasus Guards. His fur coat was light gray with moderate sapphire blue mane and tail with moderate cerulean and dark phthalo blue streaks, and moderate cerulean eyes. His cutie mark was a pink six-pointed star on a purple shield with three small light blue stars above.

And he doesn't look too happy when he turned to Mario.

"Mario Star! You've got some explaining to do!" He demands with a glare.

Mario can tell that the Royal Guard wants an explanation and he's in trouble.
