After Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and the Royal Guard arrived at the Golden Oak Library, the Royal Guard look towards Mario, glaring at him.
"Mario Star! You're got some explaining to do!" The Royal Guard growled.
"Calm down, Shining Armor, I haven't done anything to Twilight." Mario tried to reason with him, but he's not convinced.
"Likely story, when I've got word about Twily being pregnant, you went up eloping with her behind my back." Shining Armor told him. "I trusted you, Mario! I trust you to watch over Twilight! And now, you've gone and make her pregnant?!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait a minute!" Rainbow Dash cuts in. "Before you and Mario duke it out, you should've listen to the Princesses instead of just randomly jumping to conclusions for no reason!"
"Ah agree." Applejack agrees. "Ya shoulda listen to the Princesses when they tried to tell ya somein'. They're tryin' to tell ya that this magic flower made Twilight pregnant last night. Trust me, when Ah say my big brother ain't got nothin' to do with gettin' her pregnant."
Shining Armor raised his eyebrow, grew a bit skeptical. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna turned to him.
"What Rainbow Dash and Applejack said were correct, Mario Star didn't make Twilight Sparkle pregnant, the magical flower called Maternity Flower made in pregnant in an instant." Princess Celestia agrees. "My sister knows about that interesting garden Twilight stumbled upon last night."
Princess Celestia then pulled out the letter she received and extends it to Shining Armor. He then starts reading it which it got him curious.
"A human boy?...That's a little...Hmmm..."
Shining Armor continued reading. Then, he finished reading it and looked back at the group.
"Show me the flower." Shining Armor ordered with a curious glare.
It didn't take long for Mario Star to find proof, used his magic to grab the book and go through the pages which he manage to find the page he's looking for. Mario turns the book and show the page to Shining Armor. He then reads it and it got his eyes widened, turns to Twilight Sparkle.
"Twily, is it true? That flower, I mean?" Shining Armor questions.
"Yes." Twilight confirms, turns to the Princesses. "But still, how did you two read the letter in a small amount of time?"
"We didn't. When we were about to finish reading your letter, Shining Armor got furious and was about to head for Ponyville to find Mario." Princess Luna explains. "We tried to reason him, but decided not to and went to Ponyville."
"And we were planning to straighten things out since things were about to get out of hoof." Princess Celestia adds.
Shining Armor then turns to Mario Star with a guilty expression.
"Sorry, Mario. Guess I'm just being overprotective and jump to conclusions." Shining Armor apologizes.
"It's okay, Shining, it's understandable." Mario said, accepting his apology.
"So, the one who made a wish was a foreign creature who goes by the name of Elijah?" Princess Celestia inquires.
"Elijah said that his species was called a human." Twilight explains. "And he's stuck in his current form."
"Only because there's no way to get him back." Princess Luna told her with somber expression. "The wish of someone who's about to die can only work once. We had no control over those flowers."
"She's right, Twilight, because of his death back in his old world." Mario told her with an agreement.
"He died?! How in Equestria did this happen to him?!" Shining Armor asked shockingly.
"Well, after he ran away from home, Elijah got himself involved in a crossfire while try to help his friends. Elijah was able to help them beat the gang members while protecting Dante, but what got him killed was that he got shot." Twilight told her brother, making Shining Armor and the Princesses stunned.
"Was there a reason why he ran away?" Princess Celestia questions.
"He had a very hard life. His so-called aunt and uncle were making things a lot harder for him and his parents when they're part of the Italian Mafia. He was also getting picked on, getting into fights from the foals around his age because of his heritage and related to his aunt and uncle. Dante, Antione, and his group we're the only ones who accepted him, but his uncle and aunt proved otherwise because they wanted him for becoming a part of the mafia. It got into a heated argument and to the point that he ran away." Twilight explains.
"Are you sure?" Princess Luna asked when she, Princess Celestia, and Shining Armor gasp in shock.
"Yes. But right now, we're trying to figure out what to do with him." Twilight confirms.
"Twily, if he made a wish before his death, then that means he gets another chance to live and to have good life." Shining Armor points out. "And speaking of, where is Elijah anyway?"
"He's with me, darling." The voice of Rarity said.
The group of ponies looked over to the stairs that were leading downstairs to the basement, and began to see Rarity coming up with Elijah on her back. As soon as she came up, Rarity levitated Elijah off of her back. Elijah looked up at Princess Celestia with wide eyes, seeing how big she was compared to the other ponies in the room.
"You're...tall..." Elijah muttered, causing Princess Celestia to chuckle.
"You are certainly a young little one, aren't you?" Princess Celestia replied.
It got Elijah nod nervously, until Princess Celestia stroke his mane with her hoof, before bringing him over for a hug against her foreleg.
"You certainly must have been having an awful life, haven't you?" Princess Celestia asks sadly when Princess Luna looks at the colt.
"I was hoping to get out of a bad situation with my parents and my friends and wake up to have a better life." Elijah replied with a sad sigh. "But now I feel like it'll be even worse like before."
"We can understand that, but living here in Equestria is not as bad as you think." Shining Armor told him with a smile. "It may not be exactly as you've had in mind, but the least you can do is give this world a try."
"He's right, but we've never seen anything like this, especially a flower that can take an effect on any female species." Princess Luna adds as Elijah kept hugging Princess Celestia's leg. "But, my sister and I were going to have to make an announcement that no harm will come to you because of your previous life."
Elijah nods and nuzzled Princess Celestia's leg again, causing her to blush. She then leaned down to give him a kiss on a forehead. Princess Luna approaches Elijah as she kissed him on a forehead with a smile on her face.
"But with a simple introduction for Elijah here to welcome him towards the rest of Equestria would suffice." Princess Celestia suggests. "Although, besides that, it'll take some time for them to get to know this dear sweet young little colt."
Elijah then blushed as Princess Luna placed her hoof on his cheek.
"That sounds like a good idea." Twilight agrees. "It wouldn't be too easy to explain to the other ponies here."
"Also, I don't think any of the other ponies would believe it." Mario adds.
"Might...I make a small suggestion?" Rarity asks, earned their attention. "I know that he is used to his name, but it's not exactly a name you find here in Equestria. Don't you think we should change it?"
Elijah looked up at the ponies after letting go of Princess Celestia's leg.
"A new name? What's wrong with the name I have?" Elijah asks.
"Nothing. It's just that it doesn't fit here in Equestria." Shining Armor told him when the Princesses nods.
"I believe that we should." Princess Luna agrees. "The little colt should have his name changed so that the ponies won't be confused by his unusual name. Even to him, it is a common name among his old world."
Twilight then turns her head to Elijah, pondered a bit.
"Well, you do seem to also have an appearance similar to me." Twilight said. "We need a name for you that is similar to my family or my traits for educational study, like the stars for example."
"Good thinking." Princess Celestia agrees. "Although, I suggest you come up with one suitable for him."
"How about...Sweet Nova?" Rainbow Dash suggests.
"That sounds like it's coming from a candy store." Elijah points out, causing Shining Armor, Mario Star, Applejack, and the Princesses to chuckle.
"Well, he's not wrong." Shining Armor said. "It does sound like it came from a candy store."
"That, and I have a little sister name Sweetie Belle." Rarity said with a giggle. "It would be a little bit confusing for the both of them because they wouldn't know who I'm calling they're in the same place. And that is indeed almost related to a filly's name, just so you're aware."
"Yeah, good point." Rainbow Dash said, crossed her forelegs.
"How 'bout Night Light?" Applejack suggests.
"That's my father's name." Twilight told her when the Princesses and Shining Armor nod towards Applejack.
"Ooh! Ooh! How about Starswirl or Moon Racer!?" Pinkie Pie exclaims.
"Is she always like that?" Elijah questions.
"Yep, she's being Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash said with a smile.
"Actually, Starswirl already existed, but he was still here, we'd confuse him and this colt right here with their names and the other name is pretty close to a pony from Canterlot, so no." Twilight points out.
"Aww! You're a bunch of party poopers!" Pinkie Pie said with a pout.
"Um...How...how about...Comet?" Fluttershy suggests softly.
"You say something?" Mario asks.
"Um...I was thinking...the name...Comet..." Fluttershy answered.
"Comet." Twilight said, pondered when she placed her hoof under her chin. She then smiled. "I kinda like it."
"Sounds good." Rainbow Dash said. "But, does it have to be Comet alone?"
"I might have a suggestion." Shining Armor said, earned their attention. "His last name: Stardust."
Twilight then ponders while turning her head to Elijah before something sparked her view, smiled.
"I like that name. Comet Stardust." Twilight said, turns to Shining Armor. "Thank you."
"An interesting choice." Princess Celestia said. "But for now, I have one more suggestion, but I assume you all have your own homes and responsibilities?"
"I live at Sugarcube Corner, and I'm not the only pony that lives here. And me and the Cakes, we're usually busy every day." Pinkie Pie explains.
"I'm sure that my animals wouldn't mind, but it might be a little bit too crowded." Fluttershy softly explains.
"I'm helping my family doing some chores at the farm." Mario Star told her, turns to Elijah. "But...I can take teach him martial arts whenever I'm not too busy."
"The only way for him to get up to my place is to fly." Rainbow Dash points out. "Because my house is literally up in the sky. And he's only a unicorn."
"I live in at the Carousel Boutique, and I get a lot of customers." Rarity explains. "And I usually have my little sister Sweetie Belle to care for."
"Like Mario, I'll be busy helpin' my family at the farm." Applejack points out. "The farm work would be too much to handle."
"So, I guess that just leaves you, my faithful student." Princess Celestia said, turns to Twilight. "I'm trusting you with this responsibility, Twilight Sparkle. He needs somepony to look after him. My sister Luna and I would do it ourselves, but we have our duties as the high princesses to deal with, so I turn to you. Will you accept this responsibility?"
Twilight looked over at Elijah, who looked down and shuffled his hoof. She was little concerned.
"I might as well take care of him." Twilight nods with a sigh. "He has been through a tough life before, and since I'm the one that gave birth to him and resurrected his spirit. But, maybe with him, I can learn a lot from him and his human culture, and I can teach him how to use magic. So, I guess you can count on me, Princess Celestia. I won't let you down!"
"You...you would...take care of me?" Elijah asks.
"As long as you do what we say and go by Comet Stardust from now on." Twilight said, turns to Elijah. "I will make sure that you'll be in good hooves, under good care, and not ever again let you experience that they did to you."
Elijah, now going by as Comet Stardust, thought about it. He then gave a hopeful smile, and walked towards Twilight, still trying to get used to walking like a pony. Twilight used her magic to pull him closer and Comet got wrapped in a hug, until he nuzzled his cheek with her chest fur as Twilight let out a motherly smile and bedroom eyes.
"I know you can do this, Twilight Sparkle. I have full faith in you." Princess Celestia said with a smile as Twilight looked up at her and nods. "Luna and I will be heading back to Canterlot to make an announcement. Make sure that Comet adjusts well in Ponyville, and take care of our newest citizen like he was your own foal."
"I will, Princess Celestia." Twilight replied.
Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and Shining Armor walked out of the library and took off towards Canterlot. Twilight looked towards the Princesses and Shining Armor, and then she looked at her friends.
"We have a lot to get done, Twi." Rainbow Dash said. "We'll see you soon."
"Sure thing." Twilight replied. "I better make sure that Comet is well-adjusted. See you all later."
"We'll leave you to your acquaintanceship and settlement business now. Ta-ta." Rarity said.
"See ya, Twilight." Pinkie Pie said as she, Rainbow Dash, Mario Star, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity left.
Twilight watched as they left the library, until she looked down at Comet.
"Let's get you adjusted to life here, and probably refresh your memory a little until your senses are fully recovered." Twilight suggests, but starts smelling Comet.
She recognizes the scent from last night, and saw some dirt on him along with some twigs in his mane and tail.
"So for starters, I think it's best that I gave you a bath." Twilight suggests as she carefully lifted Comet with her magic, placed him on her back before they headed upstairs to the bathroom.
"Twilight? How are you able to do that?" Comet asked.
"Do what?" Twilight inquires.
"This." Comet answered, tried making it clear by pointing his horn. "The glowing and lifting thing."
"Oh, that's just my magic. It sometimes easy to use." Twilight replied.
"Magic?" Comet repeats when Twilight points her horn.
"Unicorns and alicorns can generate magic from their horns, and are able to use their horns to lift things with a magical aura." Twilight explains. "Such as a simple levitation spell. I'll teach you how to use your magic later today, or tomorrow. Right now, Comet, let's get up cleaned up."
They headed into the bathroom, and Twilight started up the tub with both faucets for warm water, and then she dipped her hoof to check the temperature as it was just right, let it fill up the tub. As the water was at the proper amount, she set Comet down into the tub with her magic and got some bathing materials, including a shower sponge brush, some shampoo, and a bar of soap with her magic.
"Is the water warm?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, it is." Comet nods.
Twilight smiled warmly as she starts rubbed his shoulder, before Comet returned a smile of his own. She then gently got the small bits of twigs and branches out of his mane and tail, then lathered his mane in shampoo. She then took a small pitcher of water and dumped it over his head to wash the shampoo out of his mane. Feeling the water, he made a soft 'eep!' until Twilight shushed him and rubbed at his side with her hoof, calming him down. When Comet was calm, Twilight then lit up her horn, filled up the sponge brush with soap from the soap bar, and then gently washed his body and got all the dirt and mud off of him, before she giggled at Comet rinsing him off with the entire tub. With Comet cleaned up, Twilight picked him up, placed him next to her, and drained the tub. Once the tub was completely drained, she used the towel and gently dried him off.
As they come downstairs, Twilight sat down on the couch with Comet next to her.
"So, where's Comet going to sleep?" Spike asked. "We only have two beds in the library."
"Good thing we cleared out the rest of the room. We'll wait until the announcement has spread across Equestria." Twilight told him. "Then we'll do some shopping for some furniture."
"I guess." Comet nods. "I don't usually make any friends because of my heritage. The teachers keep getting me into the principal's office without any reason."
"Well, as soon as you're settled in and until the summer break ends, I'll get you registered at school." Twilight said with a smile, looked down at Comet.
"I'm not sure I'll be able to get along with the ponies here either." Comet said sadly. "Especially because of me being a...well, you know."
"Don't worry." Twilight assures him, putting her hoof on Comet's shoulder. "You'll be able to fit in with the ponies here in no time."
"Yeah, Comet." Spike agrees. "If I can eventually make it to be accepted by ponies, I'm sure. Things like this just takes time."
Spike then sighed and look at Comet.
"And I'm sorry for screaming in your face earlier this morning." Spike apologizes.
"It's okay, Spike." Comet said, assuring him. "You startled me as well. I just wasn't expecting a little purple dinosaur to appear in front of me."
"What?! Dinosaur?!" Spike exclaims, feeling offended. "Hey! I'm a baby dragon!"
"S-Sorry." Comet said nervously.
That got Twilight Sparkle laugh when Spike looked at her with an angry look.
"Twilight! It's not funny!" Spike shouts.
"So-Sorry Spike." Twilight said, trying to hold her laughter which was failing. "It's just...ha ha ha...It's just that that's not...ha ha ha...that's not the first time you've been calling something...ha ha ha...something like that."
Spike just grunted angrily, and then Twilight and Comet did some quality time together, reading a few books together, and helped Comet learn how to walk like a pony.
Later that night, Twilight and Comet were sharing the same bed. Twilight was still adjusting her new home. She was having trouble sleeping, but somehow managed to get through it.
Twilight suddenly felt something shaking in the bed. She looked down and saw Comet struggling in his sleep. Comet was having a nightmare. Twilight felt bad for Comet, so she sat up and pulling him in for a hug. She then whispered into Comet's ear.
"Shh...Shh...It's okay, Comet. I'm here, I'm here." Twilight whispered into his ear. "I promise I'll be here to protect you. You deserve the best, and I'll get you as much as I can to give you the best as I can."
Comet then calms down in his sleep. He then snuggled closer to Twilight's barrel and nuzzled with chest fur, wrapped his hind legs around her belly, and laid his head against the crook of Twilight's neck as he curled his hooves against her chest. Twilight smiled at that and went back to sleep.
Princess Luna shined up in the sky with a smile on her face, casted a blanket of warmth for the unicorn mare and the colt.
The next morning, Twilight was starting to wake up from her peaceful calm slumber in her cozy bed. She was about to get out of bed until she felt something wrapped around her barrel. Twilight looked down at her body to see Comet under the covers with her. Twilight smiled to see the colt holding onto her barrel, but it was time for him to get up.
Twilight put her hoof on Comet's back.
"Comet, Comet, it's time to get up." Twilight said softly.
Comet groaned and squirmed a little until he woke up. He looked into Twilight's eyes and smiled.
"Good morning, Twilight." Comet said.
"Good morning." Twilight said before yawning. "It's time to get up."
Comet nodded, then he let go of Twilight's barrel, and sat up.
"It feels kind of weird sitting like this." Comet said. "It's like I'm sitting like a dog."
"You'll get used to it." Twilight told him with a giggle. "Now let's head down and get some breakfast."
Twilight then got out of bed, and then she used magic to levitate Comet off the bed. She then placed Comet onto her back, and then headed on downstairs. Twilight went across the main room of the library and walked into the kitchen to see Spike cooking up some pancakes.
"Good morning." Spike said when he turned towards the door.
"Morning, Spike." Twilight said, until she smelled the aroma. "I see that you've been busy making some breakfast."
"Yep." Spike replied. "I thought that you should enjoy something good today. Since we've already moved in."
"Good call." Twilight said as she then levitated Comet off of her back and onto a seat at the table. "Alright, Comet. I think it's time for you to learn some basic magic. Starting with levitation."
Twilight moved a fork towards Comet which he's confused about it.
"What I want you to do is I want you to focus on the magic within you, and concentrate it through your horn, but also have a clear mind while doing it because that's how it normally works, and it also requires focus on the object you see in front of you or if you're casting any type of spell." Twilight told him.
"I'm...I'm not sure that I can do it..." Comet said, dipping his head.
"I know you can." Twilight said, but sighed. "It's all within you. Feel the magic flowing within you, clear your mind, maintain your focus and concentrate it through your horn. Just focus."
Comet nodded, then exhaled and closed his eyes, and cleared his mind. He was now concentrating on something flowing within him. He then pushed that magic towards his horn which started to glow in a sapphire aura. Comet looked up at his horn with amazement.
"Whoa." Comet said.
"Don't lose focus." Twilight told him. "Now, I want you to concentrate that magic around the fork and lift it up."
Comet looked down at the fork. He then focused some of the magic, looking at the fork. Then, a sapphire aura surrounded the fork, which was the same aura surrounding his horn. Then the fork started levitating.
"Wow..." Comet said surprisingly.
"Keep that focus." Twilight said. "Try moving it the way you usually use a fork, but with your horn. And remember to concentrate."
Comet nodded and then focused on moving the fork like he did before as a human.
"I did it!" Comet cheered.
"Great job, but you've still got more to learn." Twilight told him as Comet nods with a smile.
Spike walked up to Comet with a plate of flapjacks, and placed a small stacks in front of him.
"Here ya go, enjoy." Spike said.
"Prefect timing, Spike." Twilight said, then looked at Comet. "Go ahead and eat. We'll do more basic training and maybe try a few spells I know."
Spike then put a small stack of flapjacks in front of Twilight. Then he went over to his seat with a plate of flapjacks for himself.
"Now, lets dig in." Spike said.
The three of them started eating their flapjacks. When Comet was just about halfway done with his flapjacks, he then passed his plate over and went to the couch, sat down. Twilight somehow knew what he was feeling and went over to talk to him.
"Are you okay?" Twilight asks, worried when Comet nods, until he felt tears beginning to escape his eyes.
"I just miss my mom and dad, and my friends." Comet said, cried.
"Aww, sweetie. I know you miss them." Twilight said, sat next to Comet and placed her hoof onto him before she brought him towards her side. "Some ponies might be wanting to get to know you, but it may take time. Besides, it's not the outside of yourself that matters, but what matters is what's on the inside, because you have a strong kindhearted spirit, and that's what I like about you."
Comet then smiled that he was getting some positive words about himself, until he leaned over on Twilight's neck and nuzzled his cheek with her fur. Twilight suddenly got an idea about what she and Comet could do today.
"Hey, Comet?" Twilight called, earned his attention. "After breakfast, I'll teach you the basic spells of a unicorn if you're interested."
"Okay!" Comet said happily as they then went back to the kitchen and continued to finish their breakfast.
Applejack and Mario Star were coming up to the door of the Golden Oak Library, accompanied by Apple Bloom, who's around the same age as Comet.
"Can you two tell me why we're going over to Twilight's again?" Apple Bloom asks, complaining. "Ah was in the middle o' my chores until ya brought me all the way over here."
"Because Comet is actually the reason why we brought you over her, except that he's in some of Twilight's appearance, but as a colt." Mario explains. "The Maternity Flower made Twilight pregnant in an instant and gave birth to Comet."
"Also, we just want ya ta get ta know him." Applejack adds. "Let's just say that the poor feller has had a tough life before comin' here."
Applejack then knocked the door as Apple Bloom still felt confused about it. The door opened and reveled Spike standing there.
"Oh hi, Applejack. Hi Mario. What bring you two here?" Spike asks when he caught the sight of Apple Bloom. "Oh, you brought your sister, huh? Apple Bloom, right?"
"Eeyup." Applejack nods. "Just me, Mario, and my lil' sis, Apple Bloom. We thought that Comet should make some friends 'round his age. And Ah thought that Apple Bloom would be a good start."
"That's probably a good idea." Spike agrees. "Well, come on in."
He opened the door more and stepped aside for Applejack as she, Mario, and Apple Bloom walked in.
As soon as they came in, they saw Twilight teaching Comet basic magic. And for Twilight, basic magic is...little bit advanced by her teachings, but it's usually not east for the beginners, except it takes time, practice, and concentrating focus.
"And that's how you do some transfiguration magic." Twilight said.
"Um...Twilight? Isn't this a bit too much for someone...I mean somepony my age?" Comet asked.
Twilight looked back down at the book, causing her to chuckle nervously while Mario snickered a bit.
"I guess you're right." Twilight said. "Sorry, I keep forgetting that you're still learning things. I guess we can wait a bit. You're currently still new to this form since you were a human once, but according to your DNA tests, your magic seems to be as strong as any younger unicorn, which is usually more skilled in magic than any other pony in Equestria. But don't worry, once we've finished beginners, we'll start advanced basic magic."
"Darn tootin'." Applejack said when she and Mario gained attention from both Twilight and Comet.
"Applejack? Mario? What brings you two here?" Twilight asked.
"Just thought that Comet should meet some ponies 'round his age." Applejack told her as she used her foreleg to reveal Apple Bloom. "Ya'll remember my lil' sis, Apple Bloom?"
"Oh, yes, of course." Twilight said, smiled warmly at Apple Bloom. "It was because of her that I couldn't say 'no' to your family for something to eat, which I'm really grateful for. But the other thing is...I'm still trying to lose 30 pounds after that."
She then looked at her belly, as those amount of pounds were still there.
"Yeah, guess we shoulda respected ya and not overfeed ya." Applejack said.
"Though, I did try to warn you about that one, too." Mario adds, earned a glare from Twilight.
"Did ya enjoy our company?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Yeah, I did. The food was good, really." Twilight said. "But back then, I wasn't too interested in friendship."
"I understand." Applejack said. "Now, thought that Comet should make some friends 'round his age, so that's why Mario and ah brought Apple Bloom here."
"That sounds like a good idea." Twilight agrees. "He should make some friends around his age."
Comet then felt nervous as he hid behind Twilight's legs, and looked down on the floor.
"Aww...there's no reason to be frightened of us, sugarcube. You know we won't hurt ya." Applejack said gently to the frightened colt. "Besides, I want to introduce ya to somepony."
Comet then looked at the filly in front of Applejack and Mario.
"Comet, we want you to meet our sister, Apple Bloom." Mario introduces her.
Apple Bloom made her way towards Comet slowly, hoping not to scare him.
"Is he alright?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Apple Bloom, he needs to make some friends." Mario told her. "Just hang out with him for the day, and it'll be fine."
"Sweetie? He needs comfort." Twilight added, looking at Apple Bloom. "See how sad he is? He could use a friend just like you. So, what do you say?"
Apple Bloom nods, and then Twilight looked at Comet.
"Sweetheart, it's okay." Twilight assures him soft-spoken. "There's no reason to be scared of Apple Bloom. I promise, she's a very sweet little filly."
"It's okay, Comet. I would never hurt ya." Apple Bloom adds, gently smiled at the frightened colt. "Please come out."
Until Comet heard her sweet voice, came out when Apple Bloom gave a soft smile.
"Hi." Apple Bloom greets.
"Hi." Comet replied.
"My name's Apple Bloom." Apple Bloom introduces herself, held out her hoof.
"I'm...Comet." Comet replied, almost said his old name, Elijah, and then shook Apple Bloom's hoof.
"What's the matter?" Apple Bloom asked when Comet sniffled.
"Sorry. It's just...I've been having a tough life." Comet told her.
"A tough life?" Apple Bloom repeats, tilting her head. "Watcha talkin' 'bout?"
"It all started before I came here..."
45 minutes later
Apple Bloom was astonished by Comet's story. She never heard a story so tragic from an ex-human. But she knew that throughout what Comet went through, she couldn't resist on not wanting to be friends with somepony who needed one, but was mistaken for the appearance or the religious side of one pony. She asked a lot of questions to Comet about the things he's done back in his old world. They even had lunch during their talk, which were sandwiches like Spike made, with white bread and stacked with cucumber slices, lettuce leaves, and tomato slices, and some box of apple juice.
"So, ya made a wish before ya die?" Apple Bloom asks, earned a nod from Comet. "And mah big brother, Mario, told ya about the flower that has magic to make Twilight pregnant and gave birth to ya?"
Comet nods again.
"Must've been tough. Even for a human ta go through terrible things, especially with those who're aunt and uncle, even somepony around our age." Apple Bloom said. "Ah still can't believe Ah'm talkin' ta a human. Boy, Ah bet that Lyra Heartstrings'll be mighty jealous."
As soon as that last sentence came out of Apple Bloom's lips, Spike was coming over to pick up the dishes by Apple Bloom and Comet.
"Did you say Lyra Heartstrings?" Spike asks when Apple Bloom turns to him and nods. "I was wondering what happened to her. She hasn't been in Canterlot for at least two months."
"Yeah." Apple Bloom confirms. "Lyra Heartstrings moved here two months ago, livin' with that candy makin' pony, Bon Bon. She makes good sweet drops. They taste amazin'."
"I'll have to see about that." Spike said.
He then grabbed the plates and took them into the kitchen to get washed. Apple Bloom looked back at Comet and smiled.
"Well, Ah hope that you and Ah will be good friends." Apple Bloom said. "'Specially when school starts. Ya are gonna come ta school, right?"
"I...guess if I'm stuck here." Comet said. "I might have to get some school supplies."
"Ah'm also sorry for what you've been through." Apple Bloom apologizes.
"It's okay." Comet said, accepting her sympathy. "I just hope I can get going with...everypony here."
"Ah'm sure ya will." Apple Bloom said as she hugged her new friend, which made him hug her back.
Mario, Twilight, and Applejack were watching the filly and the colt talk. Both Twilight and Applejack smiled motherly while Mario smiled fatherly as they then looked back at each other.
"Ah think things will be good for Comet." Applejack said. "Some ups and downs, but Ah believe that he'll be get along just nicely."
"I think so too, Applejack." Twilight agrees while Mario nods. "Although, I might as well get him registered for school. I wonder where the schoolhouse is here in Ponyville."
"You actually passed it when we're coming over to Sweet Apple Acres." Mario points out. "It's basically the same path on the right, you can't miss it."
"Oh, right. Now I remember." Twilight said, thought about it. "Must've forgot."
"And don't worry about anythin'. I promise Cheerlie is a great schoolteacher." Applejack told them. "She'll be able ta help with gettin' the little feller registered for school. Ah can find'er and send'er over here if ya'd like."
"That would be nice, Applejack." Twilight said. "Better do it as soon as possible."
"Actually, Twi, registration for the next school year don't start til early August." Applejack points out. "Y'all can go over to the schoolhouse until then ta get Comet registered."
"Sounds good." Twilight said. "Thanks for the advice, and for bringing Apple Bloom here. I'm glad that Comet's already starting to make friends."
"No problem, Twi." Applejack confirms, looked over at the clock. "Well, Mario, Apple Bloom, and Ah gotta get goin'. We got a lot o' chores ta get done."
Applejack and Mario Star then started heading towards the door.
"C'mon, Apple Bloom. Time ta head home." Applejack called her sister.
"Okay, sis." Apple Bloom said, looked back at Comet. "See ya some other time, I hope."
Comet nods as Apple Bloom followed her siblings out of the library.
"Looks like somepony's happy that he's making a new friend." Twilight said, earned a nod from Comet as she thought of an idea. "Comet, how about if I take you out for a little stroll around town? We can explore some places and maybe stop by to see my friends, and maybe get a treat from Sugarcube Corner."
"Okay, Twilight. I'd like that." Comet replied.
"Then let's get going." Twilight said, until she turned to Spike. "Spike, Comet and I are going out for a stroll. Could you keep an eye on the library while we're gone?"
"Sure thing." Spike replied as Twilight and Comet left the library for their stroll.
Downtown at Ponyville, Twilight and Comet were still walking around, while the colt walked beside Twilight, who smiled motherly at him.
"Twilight?" Comet asked, earned her attention. "Can you tell me...how you met your friends?"
"That is quite a story." Twilight said, began to memorize how it all began. "Well, let's see...Oh yeah, it all started when I arrived from Canterlot with Mario to prepare for the Summer Sun Celebration, which is a festival honoring Nightmare Moon's defeat by Princess Celestia, but to commemorate Princess Luna's return from her darkness's grasp. But this is actually how it all began..."
During the walk, Twilight told Comet how she arrived in Ponyville and met Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity, before Pinkie Pie's 'Welcome to Ponyville' party came, and how everypony reacted the unexpected return of Nightmare Moon.
"Wow...That was scary." Comet states.
"I know." Twilight agrees.
"So, what happened next?" Comet asks.
"Spike, Mario, and I rushed back over to the library and tried to get some answers about the Elements of Harmony, ancient gemstones of a powerful magic: friendship, but split in seven traits..."
Twilight then told Comet how she and her friends tried to find answers about the Elements of Harmony, before venturing into the Everfree Forest together. She then explained how they traveled together: Applejack is Honesty, Fluttershy is Kindness, Rarity if Generosity, and Rainbow Dash is Loyalty. Once they reached the castle, Twilight and her friends found the Elements and let Twilight and Mario try to find the spark, until Nightmare Moon shattered them into shards, but Twilight found the spark and together, Mario has the Seventh Element: Element of Courage. Together, with their friendship, they defeat Nightmare Moon and returned Equestria to normal, and both Princess Celestia and Princess Luna reunited and brought eternal balance again by ruling together as sisters, and Princess Celestia allowed Twilight to stay in Ponyville to study friendship and write reports about what she has learned.
"...and that's how me and Spike moved to the library, until you came." Twilight finished her story.
"Mario said something about the flower, do you know how I got here?" Comet asks.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. I'll tell you soon, but I need to save my breath for another time." Twilight replied, until an idea came to her while seeing a giant gingerbread house that looked like a bakery.
Suddenly, she entered the shop, and out of the counter were Pinkie Pie and two Earth ponies who're known as the Cakes.
Mrs. Cup Cake was shorter and rounder mare with a very light cerulean fur coat with light crimson curly mane and tail with pale light grayish crimson stripes, and brilliant rose eyes. She wore an apron and pink earrings. Her cutie mark was three cupcakes.
Mr. Carrot Cake is a tall lanky stallion with light brilliant amber fur coat with a light brilliant orange freckle on his upper muzzles, light brilliant orange mane and tail, and moderate pistachio eyes. He wore an apron with a red and white striped bowtie, and a white and red hat. His cutie mark was three cut carrot cakes.
"Hello?" Twilight asked as she and Comet, who's standing behind her walked in.
"Hello, Twilight." Mr. Carrot Cake replied.
"HEY, TWILIGHT!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed happily.
"Hello, Pinkie. I didn't know you work here." Twilight said.
"Silly billy! I live here too!" Pinkie said, until she saw Comet hid behind Twilight.
"Hi, Pinkie." Comet said nervously which Mrs. Cup Cake noticed the colt.
"Aww...this must be Comet Stardust." Mrs. Cup Cake said sweetly when Twilight nods.
"But like Mario Star said, that flower gave him a wish before he died in his old world. He's just somepony I'm looking after." Twilight explains.
"Well, he's an adorable little sweetheart." Mrs. Cup Cake said as Comet blushed nervously.
"Well, he's very sensitive, but I'm making sure he has a better life here while living under my wing." Twilight told her, rubbing her hoof on the colt's head. "Anyway, is it okay if I could get a croissant, and maybe...a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles on it please?"
"Absolutely!" Mrs. Cup Cake replied.
Twilight then paid the bits with her magic, and then after they received their treats, Twilight whispered into Pinkie Pie's ear as she smiled with glee and rushed into the kitchen. Twilight and Comet started to do one more stroll around town before heading back over to the library after eating at the cafe for dinner.
When Twilight and Comet got back to the library, the was sun almost all the way down behind the hills. Comet was pretty tired after today. Twilight stopped walking and looked down at the colt next to her.
"Hey, Comet." Twilight called him, earned his attention. "Why don't you open the door?"
"Uh, why?" Comet asked, confused.
"You'll see." Twilight said with a smile.
Though, Comet is still nervous as he walked up at the door. He lit up his horn and it touched the door handle, opens the door inside. It was dark inside.
"Spike? Are you there?" Comet asks when he called him. "What's going on?"
The lights were on, and suddenly...
"SURPRISE!"
Comet jumped and inside the library, there were decorations hung from the walls, balloons blown up, and a few tables that had plates of food on it. There were a lot of ponies inside, and they were all smiling at him.
"Wh-What is this?" Comet asked.
"It's your 'Welcome to Ponyville!' party!" The voice of Pinkie Pie said.
Comet looked around the library to find Pinkie Pie looking down at him with a smile on her face.
"Hi there!" Pinkie Pie said. "I put this party together for you! Were you surprised?! Huh huh huh huh?!"
"Y-Yes, I was." Comet answered. "But how did you all this together? And how did everyone get here?"
"Well." Pinkie Pie said as she starts explaining. "I know everyone here in Ponyville, and I know I've seen you yesterday, and I've never seen you before or have, then that means you're usually new here. Twilight whispered into my ear for something special, and I was like (GASP), so I rushed over to the kitchen at Sugarcube Corner, asked Mr. and Mrs. Cake for helping me with some treats, rushed over here and told Spike we needed to put together a party for you! Do you like it?!"
"I do." Comet nods as his eyes started filling up. "Thank you, Pinkie."
Comet then walked up to her and hugged her.
"Aw." Pinkie Pie said, smiling and returning the hug. "You're welcome, Comet."
After Pinkie Pie broke the hug, she brought Comet over to the floor. He saw Applejack, Mario Star, and Apple Bloom again, and they walked up to him.
"Howdy again, Comet. Y'all enjoyin' Ponyville so far?" Applejack asked with a smile.
"I am." Comet nods. "Twilight showed me other places around Ponyville, and I even meet Mr. and Mrs. Cake. She told me how you and Mario defeated Nightmare Moon together and how you first met."
"Sounds like y'all have a lot of fun." Applejack said, but then, Comet's stomach growled as she, Mario, and Twilight chuckled. "You'd better get somethin' to eat, Comet."
Comet nodded and went over to the snack table. While he was getting a few cookies and an apple pie, someone started talking him.
"Hey there!" The voice said. "You must be Comet Stardust, right?"
He looked next to him and saw two identical pegasi twins.
The first pegasus has a pale persian blue fur coat with pale cerulean mane and tail with white highlights, and light rose eyes. Her cutie mark was a shooting star.
The second pegasus has a pale light grayish persian blue with pale light grayish opal mane and tail, and pale light grayish raspberry eyes. She wore a pink bow. Her cutie mark was three dragonflies.
"Uh, yes I am." Comet confirms. "Who are you two?"
"I'm Cloudchaser, and this is my sister, Flitter." Cloudchaser replied.
"It's really nice to meet you, Comet." Flitter said with smile.
"Yeah, it's a pleasure." Cloudchaser said.
Comet began to warm up to the twins, but he reminds them of the Bella Twins from WWE he used to watch back at the old world.
"Thanks. It's nice to meet you too." Comet said, turns to Cloudchaser while tried to remember the name. "And...Cloudchaser right?"
"Yep, that's me." Cloudchaser replied with a wink.
"You...your mane is cool." Comet replied which Cloudchaser was touched by the compliment.
"Aww...that's sweet." Cloudchaser said. "Thanks."
Cloudchaser then gave Comet a small short kiss on his cheek to tell him thanks.
"And Flitter I...I really like your bow." Comet said to Flitter this time.
"Aww, thank you, Comet." Flitter thanked him, touched by his compliment.
Flitter then gave Comet that same kiss like Cloudchaser did. Comet was flustered from the kisses and rubbed his head with embarrassment, but he somehow enjoyed it.
"Hello, you two." Mario greets.
"Hey, Mario." The twins replied.
"I see you're getting to know him very well." Mario said.
"Yeah, he's also very sweet." Flitter replied.
"He's a sensitive colt." Mario told her. "But Twilight is helping him get to know a few."
"That's cool. Well, we're going to enjoy the rest of the party." Cloudchaser said, as she and her sister then turned to Comet. "See you later, kid."
Cloudchaser gently and playfully rubbed the colt's mane, making him giggle a little.
"We should hang out some time." Cloudchaser said.
"Yeah, and we can do some fun together." Flitter added.
"Sure." Comet said with a smile.
The sisters then them their byes and continued their time at the party. After they left, Mario offers Comet to learn martial arts called, Toso Kune Do, which he accepts but Comet told him he learned Okichitaw martial arts from his father. Mario can understand that, but he knows someone who knows that fighting style and told Comet he can learn more than one martial arts, which of course, Comet accepts his offer. Comet then met a unicorn mare named Vinyl Scratch, who's playing some music.
Vinyl Scratch has a yellowish white fur coat with moderate cyan blue mane and tail with brilliant cyan stripes. She wore a gradient from dark purple to moderate heliotrope streaks sunglasses. Her cutie mark was a backwards double quaver.
Later, Comet was drinking some lemonade when he felt somepony's hoof tap his shoulder. He truns around and saw two mares: a unicorn and an earth pony.
The unicorn mare has a very light aquamarine fur coat with pale light grayish cyan mane and tail with white highlights, and brilliant gamboge eyes. Her cutie mark was a lyre.
The earth pony mare has a light apple greenish gray fur coat with moderate cobalt blue mane and tail with very light fuchisa stipes, and moderate arctic blue eyes. Her cutie mark was three blue and yellow striped candies.
"Uh, hello." Comet said.
"Hello." The female earth pony said. "It's nice to meet you, Comet. My name is Bon Bon."
"And I'm Lyra Heartstrings, but you can call me Lyra." Lyra said with a smile. "We heard about what was going on with you today and...we are so sorry to hear that."
Lyra's tone changed from happy to sympathy.
"We thought we would like to meet you face to face." Lyra told him.
"Well, it's nice to meet you both." Comet said to both of them.
Both Lyra and Bon Bon smiled warmly at his politeness.
"It's nice to meet you too, Comet." Bon Bon said.
"How do you know my name?" Comet asked curiously.
"Twilight and the others told us all about you, you are one interesting kid." Lyra said, winking at him. "Hey. If you would like to hang out with us, you are more than welcome to."
"And we can something fun and exciting together." Bon Bon added.
"I would like it very much." Comet confirms with a smile.
"Oh, and...don't think we won't like you because we like you a lot today." Lyra playfully said. "We will always be here in Ponyville no matter what. Become anypony who's appears differently is fine with us."
Then, Lyra winked at him playfully. She then leaned her head down and hugged Comet, and he hugged her back. After they finished, Comet heard a clock ring. Everypony in the room looked at a clock and saw it was 10 o'clock.
"We'd better head home, Lyra." Bon Bon told her, then turns to Comet. "It was nice meeting you, Comet."
"It was nice meeting you, too." Comet replied.
"See you later, Comet!" Lyra said as she and Bon Bon walked away.
"See you, Lyra." Comet said, waving to her.
Comet then looked around and saw that a few ponies were leaving the library or helping clean up. After a few minutes, most of the ponies said goodbye and welcome to Equestria to Comet as they left. Pinkie Pie was the last one.
"So, Comet." Pinkie Pie called him with a smile, earned his attention. "Did you enjoy the party?"
"I did, Pinkie." Comet nods with a smile. "Thank you."
Pinkie Pie picked the colt up and hugged him again. After Pinkie Pie puts him down, she bounced out of the library.
"Goodnight, Comet!" Pinkie Pie said happily.
"Goodnight, Pinkie." Comet replied, then yawned after Pinkie Pie left. Comet was really tired.
"Tired, Comet?" Twilight asked with a smile.
Comet looked behind him and saw Twilight standing there.
"Yeah, I am." Comet replied with a nod.
"Let's get you to bed." Twilight suggests. "You've had a long day."
Comet nodded and then Twilight lifted him up, placed the colt on her back, and walked upstairs to bed.
Later that night, Twilight felt some shifting in the bed. She looked down at Comet, squirming in the bed like last night. Once again, Twilight sat up and pulled Comet in for a hug against her barrel and belly, whispered into the colt's ear.
"Shh...Shh...It's okay. Everything's going to be okay." Twilight whispered.
Comet then started to calm down while in Twilight's hold as he snuggled against her soft warm fur listening to her heartbeat. Although, he did mumble something that Twilight was not expecting.
"M-Momma?"
Twilight widen her eyes a bit. She then give a nervous smile, but it soon went away. She looked out the window and looked up at the moon. She then asked one thing before going back to sleep, with Comet still snuggled up against her for comfort with her hooves still wrapped around him.
"What am I going to do?"

Okay, here's how it's going to go down. Elijah is now Comet Stardust since he's now reborn in Equestria as a unicorn. Since Twilight gave birth, it means she's now the mother of Comet.
Also, Mario is the godfather of Comet.
And between Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity, they're the godmothers of Comet which he has a new family, but it's gonna take some time for him to get adjusted in Equestria.
