Hello everyone I'm back again. I had this chapter when I wrote the last one so that's why it's out so soon. I think that's how I'll do things from now on. I love that so many people are enjoying the story and I hope to keep delivering good chapters.

"Just a little bit further everyone! Come on guys, I know you can do it!" Asia yelled. Though her words were nice and encouraging, they did little to help with the exhaustion Rias felt.

After teleporting to the mountains, Issei had made wristbands for everyone. However instead of being a gift, they were actually a curse. The sweat bands were made of a dense and heavy metal that was magically enhanced by Asia to weigh five times the wearers body weight. Rias rarely if ever got annoyed with Issei, but seeing him jogging while wearing a weighted wristband on each of his four arms and tail made her a tad bit annoyed. It didn't help that he and Ingvild had sprinted up and down the mountain effortlessly three times already. Finally the devils made it to the top of the mountain, where the cabin was located. Asia had taken the liberty of setting up camp while they struggled up the mountain, so water was already available for everyone.

As Rias and everyone else chugged the water like their life depended on it, the Gremory could feel a certain Asmodeus hybrid eyeing her body, dressed in nothing but a black sports bra tank top combo, with volleyball shorts and sneakers. "No you won't be sparring with each other just yet. Instead the occult research club will spar Asia, and the student council will spar with Ingvild.

"All of us will fight them at once?" Kiba asked skeptically. Rias had to agree it did seem a bit too easy.

"Don't worry for us Kiba. You'll be lucky to get a clean hit once we go all out." Ingvild said, but Rias could tell that Vi was speaking based on how confident she sounded.

"Oh yeah well it's game on!" Saji yelled, jumping off the ground. He summoned absorption line, eager to prove himself.

"I like your spirit. First the student council will fight Vi. I hope you're all ready because you are in for a surprise. In fact Asia please be on standby in case anyone gets hurt okay." Issei said while forming a chair from light for him and Asia.

"Sure thing Ise." The nun took a seat.

Rias watched keenly as the student council walked out to the clearing to spar with Vi. Sona, ever so tactical, formed her peerage in a defensive manner. She put a rook, a knight, and her pawn on the front line. Her bishops in the middle, and her queen next to her. When Asia signaled them to begin they all prepared for VI's attack.

Ingvild, instead of charging towards the group, walked calmly towards them, trident in hand. She then stopped suddenly around fifteen feet away from Sona's front line. In a blink she stabbed her trident into the ground and soon the ground was shaking beneath everyone. Pillars of earth rose out of the ground and made their way towards the student council. Without hesitation the Sitri heiress used her Rapier to create a pillar of Ice to counter it.

The assault didn't stop there. Once safe from the earth attack, Tsubaki and momo began to shoot fire and lightning at Vi. The violet haired girl simply knocked them out the way with her trident before sinking it back into the ground.

When she did so a second time, half of Sona's peerage was encased in rock up to their shoulders. Sona and Tsubaki as well as the bishops were quick enough to evade the attempt, but failed to see the winds pick up in the sky. Soon they were swept into a tornado, then thrown into a giant bubble of water.

"Yield or you'll regret it." Said Vi, who was leveling a lightning infused trident at the sphere of water. Sona's hands quickly flew up above her head in a gesture of surrender.

Rias felt a mixture of fear and glee. She was happy that Ingvild would be on her side in the upcoming Rating game, and scared at the thought of having to compete against her someday. She was glad that her team would be up against Asia that's for sure.

"Sorry Sona, I meant to hold back more." Ingvild said, offering the Sitri a towel. It did little to dry the shuddering girl off but she accepted nonetheless.

Since nobody had any real injuries, it was the ORC's turn to face Asia. The blonde girl removed her tracksuit top, revealing her toned abs that rivaled Rias' own. When Crimson Calamity was flipped she was holding her rose gold spear in her hand. Akeno opted for the bladed whip version of Cloud Breaker, while Kiba summoned his ice sword. Kokenko simply cracked her knuckles to prepare herself.

"Ready… begin!"

As Ingvild began the battle, Rias opted for the opposite version of Sona's strategy. Instead of playing defense she intended to overwhelm Asia with pressure and numbers. As she threw bullets of destructive power at the girl, Kiba rushed to attack her from behind. To distract her he stabbed his sword into the ground and used sword birth to make a row of swords sticking out from the ground aimed at the blonde.

Asia didn't even bother moving to counter this threat. Instead the Azhdaha host made a pale white barrier of moonlight that deflected the destructive power back at Rias. When the demonic swords made their way towards her, the golden staff behind her began to spin. Suddenly all the knight's swords were ripped from the ground and flying towards him, forcing him to go on the defensive.

Akeno flicked her whip to attack Asia, but the girl simply blocked the attack with her wooden staff. As Akeno prepared to shoot lightning at the girl, three giant crow's made of shadows began to fly at the queen, clawing at her and chasing her into the sky.

Now it was down to just Kiyome, Koneko and Rias. She instructed the bishop to stay close to her, worried that Asia had more tricks up her sleeve. Her suspicions were correct, as Asia smiled in a very chilling manner. She then disappeared into her own shadow and slithered along the grass towards the two. Rias grabbed Kiyome and flew off into the sky, but a tendril of darkness grabbed her leg before she could make it very far. With a yelp she took her spear and stabbed into the tendril, using destructive magic to destroy it.

Before she could think, one of the crows chasing Akeno crashed into her, knocking her back to the ground. Koneko leapt into the air and caught Kiyome while Rias simply readjusted herself. Tired of running, Rias took her spear and charged near Asia's shadow on the ground. She plunged it into the grass and sent waves of destruction through the ground, shattering the dirt into dust and forcing Asia to fly out.

"Good job Rias, I didn't think you would figure out that I could be hurt in shadow form. Sadly I caught you already."

Looking down Rias realized that her feet were stuck in place by chains of darkness. She tried to break the chain with her spear but her hands were also restrained. Rias could only struggle against her confines as Asia stalked towards Kiyome and Koneko. The shorter of the two girls stepped out to protect the bishop behind her.

"Ok Ko-chan. I'm going to use empowerment magic so I want you to give me everything you have ok!" The blonde yelled as her bejeweled staff behind her began to spin and glow. Rias could feel the strength rolling off of her as rocks began to lift off the ground. Koneko nodded grimly, already sure of the outcome of this battle.

The former nun and the yokai devil charged at each other, the former significantly faster than the latter. The blonde threw a kick that the rook barely managed to duck under. From her crouch Koneko jumped up with an uppercut hook combo that was blocked and evaded easily by Asia. The blonde girl proved to be just as nimble as the nekomata, effortlessly dodging and countering all the attacks. In just ten minutes Koneko was exhausted, having dodged or blocked a flurry of punches from Asia. Sadly she couldn't hold out for long as Asia finally got her to fall for one of her feints. Koneko ducked under what she thought was a hook and was caught with a left kick that sent her crashing into a tree.

Rias was furious seeing her cute rook get injured, and broke free from her chains with pure rage. Flipping her spear into a sword she charged at Asia swinging quickly but precisely. Her swings were blocked or countered by Asia's gold staff. When Rias went for an overhead swing that was a bit too slow, she was hit in the stomach with the surprisingly heavy gold staff. As she staggered back, the air taken out of her lungs, she was open to a leg sweep that sent her to the ground. Rias looked around the battlefield to see the damage. She saw Kiba restrained by ten swords of his own creation. She saw Koneko passed out close to Kiyome who had shadows covering her mouth, preventing her from using her sacred gear. She had to fight back the tears threatening to spill from facing the defeat Asia delivered so easily.

"You win." She whispered under her breath. Before she could feel sad from the defeat she was embraced in a hug by the girl who had restrained her.

"Don't feel bad Rias, you fought beautifully. I was shocked when you broke out the chains I made, I thought you were done after that. Besides, we're here to improve aren't we? You'll do much better in a few days."

"Oh yeah my bad. For starters everyone did pretty good. My biggest observation is your strategies. Sona, when your strategy began to fall apart you were hesitant to let your team go on the offense, you're going to need to be more aggressive in the future. Rias your weakness is the opposite. While you all did well to try and overwhelm Asia, your attacks weren't coordinated with one another. We will be working to improve all these areas while we're here." The nephalem said while scribbling out everyone's individual training regimen.

After sparring Asia, Ingvild, Sona, and Rias began to prepare lunch for everyone. While they did so Issei went over basic hand to hand combat with the newer devils, and advanced maneuvers with the senior devils. He was truly the best teacher for that area since he excelled in any type of close-quarter combat.

"Rias what do you wish to work on most while you're here?" Ingvild asked the girl while cutting vegetables.

"I guess my magic versatility. I always felt sort of limited with the power of destruction, unlike my brother who is the best at it out of every Bael descendant. That's why I usually rely on my weapon to pick up the slack."

"That's pretty smart actually. From what I hear, Sirzechs in an anomaly as far as devils go. While you may never be able to match that level of raw power, you can always learn to improve in ways maybe he can't. You just have to think outside the box. I know I can help you with that." Asia said while she seasoned chicken.

Rias was glad to have great friends that would help her improve, but thinking about her brother's strength always made her a bit disappointed in herself. The man was truly an unreachable level of strength by many devils, hell by many people in general. She often wished she was born with half the power he was born with. In fact one of the reasons she trained herself so hard was because she hated how weak she seemed in comparison, but that was something she could never admit to her loving brother.

After the girls finished cooking they called the peerages in to eat. While she ate she thought about how she could overcome Riser's immortality. Watching his old rating games she could confidently say she was a better fighter than he was, but her stamina would never outlast his regeneration.

After they finished their food, Sona suggested that they watch footage of Riser's battles to see what his weaknesses were. That led to everyone sitting in the movie room watching Riser's latest victory over Iolava Amon, who was on a five game win streak until he fought Riser. Rias was surprised that she hadn't seen this footage before, but after watching it, she was even more nervous about her own game against Riser.

In the match Iolova Anon was actually winning the first half of the game. He and his peerage had out matched the Phenex peerage, leaving the latter with just his queen and Ravel. Anon's own queen distracted Yubelluna, while Anon and his bishops managed to restrain Riser and halt his movement. The Phenex devil looked to be on the verge of his first true defeat, as Anon and his remaining team attacked Riser ruthlessly while he was stationary.

However as Riser was about to be retired something completely unexpected happened. Riser's little sister Ravel, someone who always refrained from fighting, attacked Anon's team. "I never knew Ravel held that much raw power. She never used it before, could it be that Riser was hiding an ace up his sleeves." Sona inquires curiously.

"I'm not sure about that. Even Riser and his queen looked shocked by what happened. I'm guessing it's a latent power that the girl has but never developed. Is it normal for Phenex devils to have blue flames?" Issei asked while rewinding the game.

"No… only the strongest Phenex devils have them. The last One to have blue flames was Eleanor Phenex, who died during the Great War. She had strength that rivals some of the current maou. It took both Azazel, Kokabiel, and Gabriel to defeat her." Rias answered, nervous that Ravel would react the same way if she managed to hurt Riser. A comforting hand on her shoulder relaxed her nerves.

"Don't worry Rias. She may be an actual threat but the rest of them aren't all that dangerous. All this means is that Issei, Ingvild, and I get a real challenge too." Asia said from her side.

"Yeah I guess you're right. Thanks Asia you always know what to say don't you?"

"Yes I am very wise after all." The blonde joked.

"I think we all should shower up and get some sleep. We have to be up early tomorrow after all." Issei suggested to everyone.

"Hey mom, who are you talking to? Rias! How are you here!? Where are our clothes!?" The nephalem said processing the events. He covered his own body from his mothers view as well.

"Oh relax silly it's not like I haven't seen all of you before. You did come out of me after all. And you're naked because you and Rias made love, it was a beautiful sight to behold." The woman said crossing her legs suggestively, making the two teens blush.

Suddenly a large shadow was cast over them and a large red dragon landed with enough force to make Rias bounce off the ground. She recognized him as Ddraig, the heavenly dragon of flames and power.

"Partner she's here because you made her your mate. Look at that insignia on her left shoulder, that is the mark that I leave on my mates. It intertwines the souls of the two people who join with one another." The dragon spoke, ignoring the fact that Rias and his partner were naked. She supposed dragons didn't care about nudity, since very few bothered to wear clothes.

Miki created a mirror that let Rias see the mark on her shoulder. It showed the mark of a crimson red silhouette of Ddraig's head surrounded by rose petals. It was beautiful and made her feel warmth inside.

"Sorry Rias, I didn't know that would happen. I'll find a way to remove it if you wa-"

"It's perfect." Rias interrupted her boyfriend. She would rather lose a limb than lose this new symbol of their love.

"Be warned Gremory. That mark does more than intwine the souls. You'll be immune to the flames of your mate, and resistant to many others. The mark also contains a hint of my power as well. Your magic and most likely your physical being will be altered because of it." Ddraig warned, getting up to leave.

"Where did he go?" Rias asked as the heavenly dragon flew off.

"Oh he's just going to see his mate Azhdaha. Now let's give your magic a try shall we. You know I've always wanted the power of destruction, but Grayfia met your big brother and I fell for Gorou and missed my chance. No use complaining about it now, being dead and all." Miki said with a mouthful of popcorn. She was very similar to Issei in the sense that she didn't care about her status or how she appeared to others.

"What do you want me to do exactly?" She asked the devilish woman.

"I want both of you to test the power of destruction. Issei now that you finally claimed a woman for yourself your demonic magic should be able to work for you. I want you to go first and try to draw out the power of destruction."

Issei did as instructed, still naked funnily enough, and attempted to bring out the power of destruction. A dark black aura surrounded him. In each of his four hands were a basketball sized orb of destruction magic.

"Very good darling! Now I want you to throw it at these targets." As Miki finished she threw four targets of golden light into the air. Each was destroyed easily by the dense orbs of destructive energy.

"Wonderful. Now your turn Rias. I simply wish to see how much stronger your magic has become. Go ahead and fire off the strongest attack you have at those mountains over there."

Standing up while blushing at her nudity, Rias did as instructed. Ever since making love with Issei she felt a strangely powerful sensation in her body. She channeled it into her magic, and fired a wrecking ball sized orb of destruction magic. Normally that amount would take a long time to produce, and when fired it would move slowly. This time the magic generated fast and shot quicker, almost too fast for her eyes to keep up with. When it made contact with the closest of the four mountains, it exploded. The blast was so powerful that it annihilated the surrounding mountains as well.

Rias stood in awe at her own magic. Never has she ever produced something so destructive and powerful. She didn't know how dreamscapes worked, but she also barely felt winded by her attack.

"Holy shit Rias! That was amazing! And hot!" Issei yelled, embracing her in a rear hug. Rias' face turned the same color as her hair as her boyfriend's naked form pressed against her own. His soft member against her supple posterior.

"T-thanks Ise. I think we should put some clothes on though."

"Oh I completely forgot we were naked!"

"Oh boooo! Don't do that, it's been decades since I've had a show." Miki complained while Rias created clothes for the both of them.

"Anyways, that was certainly impressive. Don't worry about Riser okay, because from now on, I will also be training you too. I have so many ideas on how to use the power of destruction, and we will be trying out all of them."

Rias felt a tear threaten to spill from her face from joy. For once she didn't feel so powerless. She felt confident and determined.

"I won't let you down!" She declared.

"Good." Miki summoned a sword and javelin from light. "Your training begins now!"
