As everyone across Ever After slept in their beds, Maugrim and Iethre were out in the Dark Forest standing in a small clearing.

"Her Majesty was right, the power of the Blood Moon is increasing our own energy," said Maugrim as small balls of light flew from the beam of moonlight around them and merged into their bodies.

"With this those stupid Fairy Scouts won't be able to get in our way again!" said Iethre before releasing a blast wave of energy.

"And you were complaining at me back in the cave," said Maugrim while resisting the energy. However, the dead trees around them had been uprooted by the force of the energy, causing the small clearing to grow by several yards.

"Out here there's nothing to fall on my head, and how am I supposed to let those Fairy Scouts know where we are if I don't let out a little energy?" asked Iethre. Meanwhile, the White Witch was secretly watching them from on the side of a mountain.

"After tonight everything will change," she said while her hood moved to reveal a smile on her face. At the same time at the school, Faybelle had been sleeping until her wings started to glow.

"You have to be kidding," said Faybelle before sitting up and picking up her mirrorphone from her nightstand.

"Sorry to call so late, Raven, but the Nega Moon is on the attack," she said.

"Of course they are, but I guess we get to test ourselves tonight," said Raven.

"Yeah, and I'm not looking forward to it," said Faybelle while staring at her still closed curtains.

"You don't have to come with us," said Raven.

"I'm not abandoning my teammates just because I'm afraid," said Faybelle.

"I'll meet you outside in a few minutes," she said before hanging up.

"Come on, Faybelle, it's time to face your fears," said the dark fairy before opening the curtains and exposing herself to the moonlight.
