Ghoul Break, with Family and Friends:
Epilogue
Luz, who had returned to her normal age a few hours ago, groaned as she placed her head on the coffee table.
"Missing being a tot already?" Eda asked playfully, as she strolled into the living room, mug of apple-blood in hand.
Luz just grumbled something under her breath and looked up at Eda with a very weak glare. "I'm still mad at you, ma-ster." Luz recovered awkwardly.
This caused Eda to hide a wide smirk behind her mug. It wouldn't take much and her little witchlet would be calling her those M-words again. And she had the perfect tool from the job.
Eda was reaching into her hair when Luz said, "No matter how much fun all this was, I still missed out on working on my door for seven days."
The wild witch sighed deeply and took a seat across from Luz as she set her mug on the table. Looks like what was needed now was stern mother Edalyn and not fun mama Eda.
"Look kid, I get it," Eda said warmly, after lifting Luz's head by the chin. "You want to see your mom, the first real friend you made."
Eda let go of Luz's chin, stood up to her full height and placed her hand on her hips, going for a full motherly aura. Luz could see that her witch mother's eyes were stern but she also wore a warm smile.
"But what you were doing wasn't going to do anyone any favors. You were close to walking a dangerous road, one that is very hard to come back from. Trust me, we both know someone like that."
The two heard a faint sneeze from the kitchen followed by Lilith praying to the Titan that she wasn't getting sick.
"So, if you don't start getting that head of your straight, I'm going to knock you down every other weekend," Eda said playfully, her smile turning a little mischievous. "I might even put you back in diapers."
"Like you have the potion for that?" Luz retorted challengingly.
"Got me there," Eda exclaimed playfully, placing her open hand against her waist, " Besides, it's two headaches-and-half watching over you when you come to my waist, let alone when you knee-level."
To drive her point home, Eda took off her right arm at the elbow and lowered it to her knees. Luz responded to this by playfully sticking her tongue out at her witch mother.
"And we moms have ways of making our kids listen," Eda stated mischievously.
The wild witch re-attached her arm and took out her trump card from her hair. Luz could feel a strange sense of nostalgia and dread mixing as her witch mother showed her the baby album the entire Clawthorne family helped to make.
It was quite the beautiful little album; decked out in Luz's uniform colors, with several (incomplete) glyphs decorating the cover. Finally, in purple letters in gold outlines was the name Luzura Necoda-Clawthorne/Clawthorne-Necoda.
"What are you going to do with that?" Luz asked uncertainty.
The mischievously in Eda's face grew tenfold as she opened the album and flipped through the pages.
"Don't even try not to pretend you don't remember all the fun things we did before your friends picked you up for your afternoon playdates," Eda replied teasingly.
Luz could feel a pit forming in her stomach as Eda stopped looking through the album and then at Luz. The human witch didn't think it was possible for her teacher's mischievousness on her face to grow as much as it did, as she turned the album around and pointed at a picture.
"I think your bossy-boots girlfriend will get a real knee-slap out of seeing this."
The picture in question was of Little Luzura playing dress-up…as Amity Blight before she and Luz were even friends. The "knocked-down" human in the picture was wearing a Hexside Abomination uniform and had her arms crossed over chest. She was using a concealment stone to change her hair to Amity's original dyed two-tone hair color and had said hair in Amity's old style.
Little Luzura was trying to scowl in a similar fashion to what her girlfriend used to, and failing as the picture showed Luz face somewhat lopsided.
All-in-all, it was a cute picture, but it didn't stop Luz's face from flushing a red that would make her girlfriend blush in shame.
"MAMA EDA!" Luz screeched embarrassingly as Eda cackled, thus ending the first adventure of the Noceda-Clawthorne family.

This entire ending was just a big "you could have told me, but where the fun in that" exchange, and I hope you all enjoy this story as much as I did. Seriously, though, I want to thank everyone. After the rough time I had last year, it felt good to do this again.
Now, for some crib notes.
If anyone noticed Luz didn't talk all that much during this story. The reason behind that was that I wanted to have Luz speak through her actions. And let's face facts, Luz speaks so much in the show it's a wonder how anyone else could get a word in edgewise.
But, boy did this story get away from me. Like I said, because of a rough patch I went through last year, I wanted to get back into this hobby, and I want to make a short story to get back into things. I wanted to make a seven to eight chapter story, but like I said, it got away from me. But I don't regret anything.
Finally, stay tuned for the next story in this series, where I will explore my headcanon of the relationship between Amity and Lilith.
