Six months after the attack, the Age of Quirks began.

Quirks caused the stagnation of technology as everyone began to study these mysterious powers.

With the rise of Quirks, were the rise of Heroes and Villains.

For two hundred years, Heroes and Villains have battled, causing history to be lost. No one truly remembers what happened during that time. Most of the technology was lost, causing a reverse in technological evolution.

It is now 2249, and Heroes have become a staple in modern culture. Over eighty percent of the world's population has Quirks and the remaining twenty percent did not.

Izuku Midoriya was a part of that twenty percent.

Musutafu, Japan

BOOM!!

Izuku slid onto the ground with soot and rough scuff marks on his face.

He groaned as he struggled to get back up on his feet only to be kicked down.

"How many times do I have to tell you, Deku!? You will never be a hero, you Quirkless freak! Fucking give up right now and I'll stop it!" A teen with spiky blonde hair and red eyes snarled at Midoriya with his hand raised. Explosions danced around his hand.

Midoriya coughed as he stayed down on the ground in hopes that Bakugo would stop. Bakugo scoffed before kicking Midoriya's side and began walking away.

Midoriya coughed before struggling to stand up. He shook his head of any dizziness as he made his way to his mom's apartment complex.

He entered inside and walked towards the door where a light shined on Izuku before the door opened. He stepped inside and took his shoes off before placing his backpack on the couch. He walked into the bathroom and towards the sink where the mirror turned on, revealing his dirty and bloodied face.

Two chip slots were on the right side of his neck with some metal lines across his cheeks. They were hidden by the soot and blood caused by Bakugo.

He turned on the faucet before washing his face to get the soot off. He sighed as he looked at the mirror before gripping the sink hard. His knuckles turning white with rage over everything that has happened in his life.

Like every child, he looked forward to having his Quirk diagnosed. Only to be hit with the truth. He was diagnosed as Quirkless. In a society filled with power, being powerless meant they were less than human. There were very few in existence, only twenty percent of Quirkless existed in the world.

Because of this, Bakugo, his former friend bullied and beat him down all because Midoriya wanted to become a hero.

For ten straight years, Izuku was beaten down, humiliated, and bullied because he was Quirkless. Despite it, Midoriya studied heroes and wrote down their powers and possible weaknesses.

A cough broke Izuku from his anger and thoughts. He looked out the bathroom towards the hallway. He stepped away from the sink and walked down the hallway towards the source of the cough, revealed to be his mother. Laying in bed with an IV hooked to her arm and a hologram revealing her heart rate.

Inko Midoriya was suffering from late stage cancer in her lungs and liver. It left her nearly bedridden. The cost to help start chemotherapy was too much, and even if Midoriya managed to make enough money, it would possibly have been too late for his mother.

Tears began to leak immediately from Izuku's eyes at the sight of his mom. He walked towards her and sat down at the edge of the bed. He held her hand and squeezed it gently before standing back up and walked out of her bedroom.

He took a deep breath as walked towards his bedroom and closed the door behind him before resting against the door and slid down the door. He began to gently cry as he clenched his fists against his face.

Rage overtook him as he screamed in rage and stood back up and grabbed one of his All-Might figurines and tossed it against the wall, destroying it. He began punching the wall hard enough to make his knuckles bleed. He grabbed his pillows and screamed into it.

After that scream, he panted heavily as he threw the pillow onto the floor and sat on the bed. He clenched his fists in an effort to calm down when he heard a notification sound from his computer.

He walked towards his desk and sat down on the chair before looking to see an email. Sent by Unknown.

Unknown: Green Usagi. I have a job for you.

Midoriya looked at his screen with confusion and shock. How did this person know?

GreenBean: How do you know who I am? Who are you?

Unknown: That's not important. What's important is you want to save your sick mother, correct? The pay will be more than enough to help her.

The green haired kid stared at the screen, thinking about it.

GreenBean: How do I know you're not messing with me?

Another email was sent to him, revealing an attachment of 105,208 yen. Izuku's eyes widened as he scanned the attachment, revealing the money to be legit with no tracing data on it. That was when he got another email from Unknown.

Unknown: That is half of the pay you'd receive if you take the job. Half now and the other once you finish the job. Now, do you accept the job?

Izuku looked away from the computer screen, thinking about it. He could potentially be doing something dangerous, possibly even killing someone. But… from what he just recieved, he could possibly save his mother's life. He clenched his fists before looking back at the computer screen and typed.

GreenBean: What do I have to do?

Unknown: Details are on the shard.

Izuku was confused until he heard the doorbell ring. He looked out his bedroom door before standing up and walking towards the front door.

He looked through the door hole to see a delivery man. Izuku opened the door and the delivery man said, "Good afternoon sir! Just need your signature."

The kid signed the document before the man handed Midoriya an envelope. The delivery man bowed before walking away. Midoriya closed the door before walking back to his bedroom.

Just who was this person who knew where he lived? How did he know he was a vigilante? It frightened him and made him begin to doubt what he was about to do.

He took a deep breath and whispered, "For Mom." Before opening the envelope.

It was night when Izuku crouched on the top of a building. He wore his vigilante uniform which consisted of a green hoodie with a mask and bunny-like ears on the hood. Black military pants and boots with shin guards and black gloves. He also had a backpack containing several supplies.

Izuku looked over one the Arasaka Tower. All he knew about Arasaka was their return in an attempt to salvage their tech that was lost during the Quirk Wars.

So far, they hadn't had much success, but it seems, from the shard he received, several pieces of advanced technology survived.

A chip. Izuku didn't know what was so special about this chip, but he didn't care. All he cared about was grabbing it and getting the rest of the money to pay for his mother's medical expenses.

He took out a set of binoculars from his backpack and scanned the tower. It seemed a party was happening, which seemed like a perfect opportunity for him to sneak in.

Thanks to the data shard, he saw a couple openings he could get in through. Through a back door, or through the security building nearby which held a door to an underground tunnel. What he remembered is that the chip would be stored in a cold room. So Midoriya planned to go underground through the security building.

He was ready. Ready as he'll ever be. Though, one thing still bugged him. It was the Unknown's last message.

"Leave the other for the girl."

Did this person hire someone else for another job pertaining to Arasaka? He shook his thoughts clear. He needed to focus. Green Usagi took a deep breath before jumping down from the building.

Momo Yaoyorozu was a girl of vast wealth. A powerful Quirk that allowed her to create any inorganic items using her body fat. She and her family were invited to Arasaka to witness the rebirth of the company. But she went for a different reason.

Like Midoriya, she was messaged with a job offering to steal a chip. Unlike Midoriya's reward, she didn't need money. No, her reward was much different.

Yaoyorozu wasn't entirely convinced about the company coming back, not after learning of the various atrocities committed by them. The CEO being murdered by his own son and killing a group of Nomads for virtually no reason.

Her reward would be the downfall of Arasaka. With the chip in hand, she could possibly contribute the evidence needed to bring them down for good.

She stepped out of the limo, wearing a red dress, and walked inside of the tower, seeing many other rich people she vaguely remembered from some of the parties her family hosted. She looked around until she found a door to her right. She excused herself from her parents, making the excuse she needed to use the restroom.

She made her way to the door before remembering the schematics on the shard. She walked down the hallway before looking to the left to see a staircase. She walked down towards the stairs and down the steps.

Like Izuku, the last message from the unknown sender said to leave the other chip for the boy. She didn't understand what was going on, but she wouldn't dwell on it for long.

She shivered and could see her breath. That meant she was in the right area. She took her heels off, and shivered from the cold floor. She began to silently tiptoe towards the coldest section of the room when she saw him.

She saw Green Usagi sneak inside a room.

Green Usagi, the Quirkless Vigilante, shivered as he scanned the hallway, finding the coldest room. He came across a panel that held a keypad, he pulled a wire out of his wrist and connected it to the panel in an effort to hack in. The door opened, signalling his success.

Midoriya snuck in and saw them. Two chips encased in tubes. The data shard revealed that when the chip was taken from its enclosure, it would either have to be placed in a case of equal temperature or… to be slotted in one of the slots in a person's neck.

Midoriya knew this was a terrible idea, but he'd have to put it in his neck. He heard the door open so he spun around to see… the most beautiful girl he's ever seen.

Momo stared at him with widened eyes as she asked, "Y-you're Green Usagi, aren't you?"

Izuku gulped as he nodded, "Uh… y-y-yeah. I-I am."

Momo looked behind him at the chips before realizing, "You must be the other person that person hired, aren't you?"

His eyes widened. How did she know? Maybe he was right in thinking the Unknown sent someone else. He nodded, "Yeah, I guess you were hired too?"

She nodded nervously before stepping into the room with him. Looking at the chips. "I wonder why we were sent here… what's so important about these chips?"

Midoriya looked at the chip to his right, deciding to klep that one. "I don't know, but I intend to find out. Maybe we'll learn something from them." He opened his wrist before pulling out his jack cable and plugging it into the main computer. After bypassing the password, the glass tubes opened.

Midoriya grabbed the chip on the right while Momo grabbed the one on the left.

"I don't have a case that would be able to keep them at this temperature. I'm going to slot it in me. Perhaps you should do the same as well." Midoriya said, before sliding it into his neck.

His vision glitched for a second until he got the text:

Relic Secured

Momo slid it into her neck port as well and acquired the same text.

They stood there awkwardly before Momo asked, "So um… What's your real name?"

Midoriya blushed before shaking his head, "S-s-sorry. I um… don't really know you to tell you. Plus, I don't want to be identified and arrested. Maybe if we see each other again?"

Momo was disappointed but understood. "I'm Momo Yaoyorozu, just so you know. And um… here's my number, in case you feel ready to reveal who you are." She created a sharpie from the palm of her hand and wrote it on his green hoodie.

He blushed as he realized what happened. He just acquired a girl's phone number. A pretty one at that.

Momo blushed as well as she realized what she was doing, but she was just too curious.

Midoriya looked at the door before deciding it was time to leave. "We should get out of here."

Momo nodded so Midoriya went to the door and opened it before looking both sides to make sure no guards were there.

After a swift goodbye and Momo returned to her parents, it took about 30 minutes until a guard alerted the whole building about a break in.

Momo returned home, realizing she technically committed a crime, but remembering why she was doing it. To take down a company that should've stayed dead. She informed her employer that she acquired it before deciding to sleep.

Over with Midoriya, he snuck in through the window in his room before removing his hood and mask to take a deep breath and let the gravity of the situation flow through him. He just stole a piece of equipment from Arasaka. Why?

For his mother, he reminded himself. He sat down at the chair and emailed his employer about the job.

Unknown: Your payment will be here within minutes. Enjoy the secrets of the Relic.

With that, the Unknown disconnected and all emails from him were deleted. Deciding it was a good idea, Midoriya deleted his replies as well.

He yawned before deciding to take a shower. After that, he made a quick visit to his mom's room and kissed her forehead gently.

"Good night Mom. Everything will turn out for the better." He whispered before walking out towards his room. He looked at his vigilante costume and wrote the number into his phone.

He yawned once more before climbing into bed and closed his eyes, allowing the exhaustion to take him.

As Midoriya attempted to sleep, he could hear voices in his dreams. A bunch of different voices speaking to him.

"The fuck kind of Joy Toy are you?"

"Quiet life or blaze of glory?"

"We're in the big leagues now, V!"

"Just know, I'm here for you."

"You have a place in the Aldecaldos."

"You're about the craziest gonk I've ever met!"

"When you're in the big leagues, just remember where you come from."

"Death would be an escape for the two of you."

"I'm pregnant, V!"

"Sorry V, I chose the quiet life."

BANG!!

"Wake the fuck up, Samurai. We have a city to burn."

Izuku screamed as he shot up from the bed. His head was aching in excruciating pain so he groaned and held his head when he noticed… a pair of boots. He looked up to see them connected to a pair of legs. He looked up more until he saw him leaning against the wall, gently banging the back of his head against the wall.

"Who the fuck are you?" V asked.
