London. Hospital. Day. Hermione laid flat on bed, her body was so in arche pain and tired. She neither wants to open up her eyes at all, all she wants is sleep and more sleep.
Thought she was in her room with Snape beside her on bed, but no she wasn't at home. She could hear numerous voices inside the room whispering.
"She is tired, that is why, look at her. I told you Snape do not make her pregnant again look what have you done".
Ginny scolds him, hand on her hips. "She looks like dead people!"
"She's my wife you silly girl!" he studied her. "I can do what I want and she never complains".
"Of course she never complains because she loves you, you bloody Git!"
"Gin, honey. Stop both of you".
Harry stops his wife and Snape who are arguing in front of sleeping Hermione.
"This is Hospital not a battlefield. The nurse already told us Hermione might be stress, tired. Besides, with you two arguing it won't make Hermione healed".
Snape nods as his eyes at the Potter's. "You were right, Potter. Minerva told me it was Loudon's family who came to see my wife".
"About what?" ask Harry.
"Susannah punched their daughter's face. Quidditch. Slytherin versus Hufflepuff. Didn't your children write you a letter, Potter".
Ginny looked at Harry, she said. "Of course. James did. Susannah suddenly became famous, so those who came in were her parents. What is it they want?" she yelped. "Justice for what!"
"It was her mother actually. Minerva asks permission if she can give their daughter Veritaserum". Snape smirking at Harry. "If you are familiar with it".
"Everytime, Professor". he smirked back. "Everytime I get into trouble".
Snape turns to his wife. "Indeed. Oh my love you awake". he kissed her. "Does our conversation wake you up?"
"What all of you are talking about". Snape helped her leaned on board bed. "I don't know why I ever ended up here".
Snape looks up at Harry and Ginny. "You fainted my love. Potter and Weasley sent you here".
Hermione slapped her forehead, trying to get her sight and memory back. "Oh that. That was Jessica.. Susannah.."
"I know love. I know. You need rest". look up at Ginny. "Could you?"
Ginny nods her head then takes a seat on Snape's previous chair. The men walked outside leaving their wife behind for a while.
"Oh Ginny.. I miss you". She smiled. "How long have I passed out?" she asked. Ginny patted Hermione's arm gently. "Well how many hours?"
Ginny clucks her tongue. "Well, Mione. It wasn't an hour but - days".
"I am what?"
Ginny bite her lips. "You've been given a powerful sedative that is what muggle calls or whatsoever. It was the Healers who gave you that instruction by the doctor. Gosh there's a lot to explain".
"I need a bloody explanation!"
"Merlin, you've been knocked out for four day, Mione!"
"Bloody HELL!" Hermione breathes, she almost runs out of air. "I just thought.. I was.. it just today.."
Ginny hushed her. "Anyway what is wrong with you, Mione? You were lucky Minerva was there". Hermione shrugs, stroking her belly. "You didn't remember, weren't you, Mione?"
"All I want is to go to lunch and eat fish and chips and more food. Then this parent came claiming Susannah was fussing about blah.. blah.. blah. When Minerva mentioned the Veritaserum I just.. blackout".
Ginny's smile reaches her hand. "And I am here. Where's Ron?" ask Hermione.
"You know him. He's too fascinating about the vendor machine outside the facilities, muggle things like dad. And he repaired all things he could use. Mum sort of.. shocked knowing about you, screaming and always freaking out. You know.. mum".
Hermione and Ginny laugh knowing Molly Weasley always freak out if something bad happens toward people she loves.
Enough she lost Fred and other friends who died fighting in battle, she doesn't want to lose anyone anymore.
"I miss your mum. She was there for us".
Moment that. Snape, Harry and Ron enter the room. Ron greeted her carried with joyful assorted food from the vendor machine he got in his arm.
He was eating Molten Chocolate Cake. "You barely stop eating aren't you, Ron?" ask Hermione.
"What? I'm hungry". he laid a sealed pack of Molten Chocolate Cake on top of her laps. "I'll remember what Lupin said to Harry when he was attacked by the Dementors that night. Eat.. you feel better".
The trio give a small chuckle. Snape and Ginny don't know what the hell they are talking about.
"Does Lupin say that?" ask Snape to his wife.
She reaches Snape's hand and kisses it. "Of course. Well, of course you didn't care what happened to us that day. With your arrogant mood and try being a hero saving us from Werewolf Professor Lupin".
"I care for my loved one and that is you my darling. I don't care what happens to Potter but always you. I promise to someone that I have to protect both".
Snape looked up to Harry. "It's all past. I cannot bring your mother back Potter the way I love her. Then Hermione.."
Snape kissed her forehead, his hand stroked her belly. "A miracle". Ginny rolled her eyes up. "Everything has changed now".
"Oh bloody hell". Harry turned to his wife. "Come along now Harry, mum says you have to help her at the Burrow".
"Oh yeah. You help mum you all right, Harry? I can't. Amelia and I got something to do with her parents with Everett having his cold". Harry nods understanding. "Thanks mate". he gave Harry a pat on his back.
Moments later. Harry, Ginny and Ron are gone. When Hermione and Snape spend time alone again, he never stops stroking her belly as he was afraid to lose the baby or both of them. Snape couldn't leave her alone in the room.
"You should go darling". she smiled, stroked his dark hair. "I'll be fine".
"The children know about you. I sent them a letter. Obviously they were worried, especially Susannah. Though she is the one who did this to you".
Hermione smiles as she closes her eyes. "No, she didn't do this to me. Ginny told me I've been - four day in hospital".
"That's true. I was working with that rich woman. Then I got a call from Potter about you, I was so panicked and I don't know what to do if I lose you".
"You will not lose me, Severus!" she grit her teeth. "Never ever".
Suddenly the door burst open. It reveals Henry, Susannah, Tobias, Ariana, the twin Tristan and Aurora are here to visit their mother.
Snape and Hermione were shocked. Henry is eyeing his mum and dad.
"We got an excuse from school, the Headmistress McGonagall. She will give you two a letter". Henry gives his father the letter Minerva wrote to Snape and Hermione.
He reached it without reading the letter. "I understand. I will read it later. How do you six get in here?"
"Through the McGonagall fireplace, special occasions that students won't be allowed to use, unless necessary accompanied by the teacher. That is why we are here".
Aurora gently jumped on Hermione's bed without hurting her mother. She buried her face onto Hermione's swollen chest.
"My dear little Aurora". her hand stroke Aurora brown curly hair. "How is she doing in Hogwarts?" she asked the others.
"She slowly got closer to Hagrid after she heard your Howler that day. Obviously Susannah.."
Susannah gives Henry death glare. She doesn't want him to mention it as Hermione's condition right now. You try to get mum killed?! she warned him.
"I won't be back at this moment, so I want all of you floo to Spinner's End. Do you six understand?" ask Snape, the children nod. "No wandering around the place unless with my company or Gran Eileen".
"Not even a playground, Dad?" asks Aurora to her father. "Can't I get to have fun?"
Snape, smiling, said. "Like I say, Aurora. With me or Gran Eileen. If you insist on going, make sure Henry or Susannah is with you".
"Alright, Dad". She jumped from bed then hugged Snape tightly around his neck. "When will you come home?"
"Till your mother is feeling better then we go home. For now you stay in Spinner's End as the letter asks you six to stay where you belong".
Henry cleared his throat. "I will not stay longer in Spinner's End. The Quidditch game is coming. I need to practice".
"Very well, Henry". There was an awkward silence between them until Snape broke that silence. "I think I better read the letter McGonagall gave to us".
His eyes are on Hermione, she smiles. "We should".
