Chapter Three Meeting DCI Banks & His Team.
As both Barnaby & Booth got ready to call Banks to give him the bad news they sure where not looking forward to it at all right here goes nothing says Barnaby as he pulls out his phone hello DCI Banks this is John Barnaby here how can i help you i have some bad news for you what type of bad news its about the police officers that you had undercover they have just been found dead in freezers after a about a minute silence there was a loud bang that sounded like a chair falling to the ground so how did this happen Barnaby that is what we are trying to found out but it also would help to why you had them undercover in the first place well they were trying to catch the people reasonable for the deaths of six people that were also found dead in freezers. This case is more bigger then you think Banks as it first started in America as i have three FBI agents who have come over to help after three was a mass grave found on my patch but it appears that they have changed their MO over the years as instead of mass graves in the woods they are not storing the bodied in freezers. If its okay with you we sure could use your teams help with case yes we will be there as soon as we can i will also bring all the paper work we have done so far. Also there is more says Barnaby most of the remains are missing their hands and legs and one is missing a head does did any of you remains have their arms or legs missing yes Barnaby they sure did and the missing body parts have not been found. Thanks for you help Banks we sure need to catch these guys before they can strike again. The next Morning there is a knocked at the door it was DCI Banks and two of his team members Helen Morton & DS Winsome Jackman thanks for coming says Barnaby these are agents Seeley Booth, James Aubrey & Karen Delfs after there was a exchange of handshakes they all sat down to start there work. How old were all the remains that was found on your patch Booth says Banks the oldest remains where dated to be over 20 years old and there was not evidence that they were every frozen. As all the paper work was laid out on the table for everyone to see they all started to read different papers and files that they had in front of them they also highlighted things that they think could be of great interests. Here is something says Barnaby as he hands the peace of paper that he was reading to Booth first as he was the closet as Booth takes a close look at what Barnaby had highlighted after reading it again he looks up and says yes that sure could be really important what is it asks Aubrey take a look for your self Aubrey as he hands him the peace of paper. Yes says Aubrey as he looks up and goes over to the white board and starts writing something on it as the others watch closely to what he is writing down after about a minute for writing the other all look at each other says says wow yes that sure can be really important. So we all agree says Barnaby that the killers could have left us a small clue that we are able to use against them just at that moment Booths phone rings its Wendell to tell him that they have found DNA from inside one of the freezers that could belong to one of the killers as well but they are waiting for the DNA results to come back thanks Wendell says Booth now where were we that right we could have a witness that saw something that to start with DCI Banks and his team didn't think that was important to this case but now that we have had a closer look it could be linked after all. Yes someone saw a strange white van around the area that one of the victims was found that could have been used to transport the victims to that site but we still need to have another talk to them as they could be able to give use the registration number. Right says Barnaby how about Banks, Winters & Aubrey go and talk to the witness again good idea says Booth i agree as well say Banks we need to find out more also i will go back to the lab to try and find out more says Booth yep & take Jones with you replies Barnaby sure lets go right now.
