Minutes later Meanwhile in the WOOHP Reception Center
Jason was sitting in a chair in a white room, bandaged up, staring at the locket that was retrieved back from Witzer.
"Mom…" Jason thought disheartened.
That was when the doors opened which alarmed Jason.
"Hello," Jerry greeted. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jerry Lewis, and I'm the head of the World Organization of Human Protection. Is your name Jason?"
"Oh," Jason responded despondently. "You know me?"
"Yes, we have a database of several people. We were the ones who dispatched those agents that saved you from the fighting ring a year ago and from Witzer today."
Jason nodded.
"I would love for you to meet some of our agents. One of which rescued you today" Jerry continued, "Come on in".
Jason looked to his side.
"Jason, this may be an important day for you because now you will know fully the agents who saved your life today"
Dylan then came in and nodded to Jason and Jerry.
Jason's eyebrow raised.
Jerry then looked at Jason.
"Jason, meet you one of our top combat instructors and WOOHP agent…Agent Dylan Barrows."
Jason suddenly got the chills when he heard his name.
"Agent…Dylan Barrows".
Could it be?
Dylan removed his sunglasses. Revealing the scarred face and light green eyes that were unmistakable.
Jason felt like the world slow down around him.
Just then Dylan's face brought flashbacks to Jason as a toddler being held up by him and hugging him.
Jason's eyes slowly watered.
"Dad..."
Dylan smiled.
"It's been too long, Jason."
"It's you!"
Jason slowly walked up to Dylan with tears welling up before going in with a full hug, crying.
Dylan warmly embraced his son and rested his chin on his son's shoulder.
"Yup you're my son alright with that hair and strength."
Jason then stepped back.
"Dad, I'm so sorry. I wasn't able to rescue Mom. Had I been as strong as you, I could have been able to..."
"Son, listen. That's why I was here. I knew you couldn't handle it yourself. In fact, not even I could handle this myself. That is why Jerry also enlisted three other of his spies to help."
"Three other spies?"
"I think you may recognize them" Jerry quipped before turning to the door, "Ladies, you may come in now."
And that is when the trio walked in through the doors in their spy outfits.
Jason was once again surprised by this reveal.
"SAM…ALEX…CLOVER?!"
The three girls smiled and waved at Jason.
Jason was understandably overwhelmed.
"You three…"
The girls that he went to school with and was worried about, were spies.
Jason was speechless at the whole thing.
"Also, Jason, your mom is safe." Sam added.
The girls then made way for Theresa to walk in.
"Son." Theresa said with a smile
"Mom!" Jason cried with joy.
That is when Jason ran up to his mom and hugged her in tears.
"Easy Jason, it's okay. I'm here."
"I almost lost you. I couldn't handle being unable to save you."
"I know…but I was more scared for you. If it wasn't for these three and your father, I wouldn't even see you again."
Jason looked around at the three spies and his dad, in awe.
Dylan then explained while putting his hand on Jason's shoulder.
"You see Jason, there was a reason you moved to Beverly Hills. After hearing from your mother about what has happened to you in the neighborhood and the high risk of your life being in danger, your mother arranged with Jerry to get you out of there."
"Which was to move you over, and your mom after Dylan's request, here to Beverly Hills. It also helped to know you had relatives living there" Jerry added.
"He told me that three of his top agents were located here, and my goodness they did not disappoint." Dylan placed his arm over Jason's shoulder.
Sam, Clover, and Alex smiled at the compliment by their senior.
"I was so worried for them and not wanting them to get hurt for me. I must be such an idiot for getting in their way." Jason chuckled with tears in his eyes while rubbing the back of his head.
"No, it's sweet and cool that you tried to protect us," Alex commented.
"And plus, we had to keep the whole secret identity thing up, so it wasn't your fault," Clover added.
"And besides, we won't apologize for protecting a person we care about," Sam added.
"Oh wow, thanks" Jason blushed.
Theresa rested her palm on her son's shoulder
"Jason, WOOHP has been there for us for a long time, don't forget that in spite of everything that's happened you aren't alone."
"Anyway, Jerry and I talked it over and we will now place you and your mother under the WOOHP protection agency given the nature of things", Dylan added.
"Will my uncle be okay with this? He must be worried right now."
"Yes, he would be okay, we talked to your uncle. He was worried for you and called all over the town for you, but we told him the whole thing. He thought it was a great idea. He will help you and your family get set up tomorrow." Jerry added.
"Anyway Jason, I hate to say this, but I must get back to Argentina."
"Wait."
Dylan stopped.
Jason added, "See you again?"
Dylan nodded.
"I'll make sure you will, on my days off"
He gave Jason one more hug.
"Alright, Jerry." Dylan nodded.
Jerry then brings a vacuum tube down from the ceiling and Dylan gave a salute before being teleported back up.
Jason waved with a bit of melancholy but a sense of hope and encouragement.
The girls were somewhat teary at the sight as well.
Suddenly a hopeful smile and a subtle change in body language came from Jason, and he walked up to Jerry.
"Jerry, Sam, Clover, Alex" Jason bowed in a traditional martial arts manner. "I owe you everything. Thanks."
"At ease, Jason this is not a dojo." Jerry jested, "We're just doing our jobs. But I am fascinated by your skills and I would like to talk to you more about them."
"Yes sir."
While Jerry and Jason were talking off to the side, Theresa turned to the trio.
"You all are truly a miracle in our lives," Theresa said with a tear in her eye.
That is when the girls and Theresa embraced for a hug.
"Aww, it's no problem," Clover responded.
Theresa added, "I would like to express my gratitude in one way."
She whispers something to the girls "…and Jason…"
The girls responded in excitement, while Jason looked to the side a bit confused.
"Hmm?"
One week later, Beverly Hills High School – 9:30 AM
The spy trio was in with their new outfits from a recent shopping spree.
"Oh, my goodness, this outfit is trés chic" Clover said while twirling in her new outfit.
"Tell me about it, Mrs. Barrows really knows how to express her gratitude," Alex said looking at her own outfit.
"But what is also fun, is our little side project," Sam added while pointing her thumb at Jason.
That is when the girls giggled while looking at a recovered Jason, who came in looking so different that many in the school stopped at the sight.
Mrs. Barrows, in addition, to giving the girls money for their own shopping spree, also allowed them to give Jason a makeover.
Instead of his baggy clothes, hoodie, and hiking boots, he wore a form-fitting red V-neck t-shirt, dark blue athletic fit jeans, black Chelsea boots, and a downplayed and cleaner version of his old haircut, with only strands covering his eye instead of the full amount of hair.
Jason wasn't used to getting this kind of attention, or even wearing those types of clothes, so he was clearly a bit sheepish.
The girls high-fived.
"We did well," Alex said.
"Yeah, he's actually kind of cute without most of his hair covering his face" Clover added.
The girls giggled.
"It also helps knowing that he's been given another semester here at Beverly Hills before transferring." Alex chimed in.
Jason then saw the trio and smiled a bit.
"Hello girls".
"Hi Jason" They greeted.
"You're looking cool," Clover added.
"Hehe thanks" Jason shrugged.
Jason laughed sheepishly while moving a strand of hair from his face.
"Anyway, shall we go?"
"Lead the way," Sam winked.
The trio and their new platonic friend walked through the hallways of Beverly Hills High School.
When out of nowhere, a locker opens, and the trio is WOOHPed in for their next mission.
"WAAAHHHH".
Jason looked to his side for a split second but then smiled understandingly.
This is what having spy friends is like...
THE END.
