A royal marriage

By Julia macgergor

The morning had crept in with cat like paws to Nagisa's bedroom. The breeze had blowing through the opened window. The scent of breeze had been sugared with the sweetened dew from the opening flowers. It was a warm late spring day. Nagisa was still tucked in her bed and snoring lightly. She did not hear the alarm clock going off. Instead, the one who heard it was Mipple.

The soft beeping noise was a gentle nudge to Mipple to wake up. He had been sleeping in his cellphone mode. He began come to life by popping from his cellphone mode into his creature mode. He was resting on the nightstand next to Nagisa's bed. He began to stretch out the sleep from his body with a series of arm raises.

After doing ten minutes of his daily excises, Mepple was happy to greet the day. Porun was still asleep. Mepple was having nothing to do with a dozing Prince of gardens of light. Mepple wanted Porun to get a move. He had a feeling today was going to be a special day. Taking a deep breath, Mepple began to scream,"WAKE UP...you LITTLE PUDGE BALL! "

Then, he reached over to shake Porun as if the little Prince was a bowl of beads. At first, Porun became instantly frightened. Porun bolted out of a sound sleep with a shriek. He believed that he was being attacked by the dark forces. He began to thrash about. Then, he too transformed into his form. He shook from the sudden sneak attack from Mepple. "Po-po-po. Why did you that?" Questioned Porun.

"You didn't wake up..Mepple!" Mepple said a little harshly.

"Mepple is a bad boy!" Exclaimed Porun with sour glare.

"What?" Mepple growled. He looked like he was going to hit Porun.

He and Porun did not realize that Nagisa was starting to wake up. Porun and Mepple were yelling at each other for about five minutes. At first, Nagisa had thought she was still dreaming. She could still sleep, she wondered why the yelling did not go away.

At first Nagisa was dreaming. She smiled as she dreamed she was in a fancy ballroom. She was dressed in red and white gown. It was high necked with puffed sleeves and full, drop waist. Her short red seemed to sparkle with little bit of precious jewels. She looked at the young man who she dancing with. It was her sempei from school. She was calm and cool about dancing with him.

Meanwhile, Porun was being chased by Mepple. The two had been yelling at each other for about five minutes. Then, Porun found one of Nagisa's pens on the nightstand. He decided to be bad and throw the pen at mepple. The one was close by when Porun was starting to yell at Mepple was quickly picked up. With of his strength, Porun took aim and threw the pen. The pen went sailing throughout the air. It struck as it landed on Nagisa's forehead. At the same time she was dreaming of her sempei learning close to her. He was about to give her first kiss.

Nagisa's forehead began to sting. She instantly opened her eyes. She noticed after a second of searching at warp speed who was behind the flying pen. She let out a scream, "what's going on?"

Porun and Mepple froze in mid fight. They turned slowly around to see why Nagisa was so upset.

The sting of the pen hitting her broke the spell of such a romantic moment. She placed a hand up to her forehead to see if she got cut on the pen. Luckily the pen nib was still inside of the pen. She removed it to see if there was any blood. There was nothing on her fingers to prove her that she was not bleeding. Nagisa was still upset as she said, "Why did you do that for?"

Both Porun and Mepple were now terrified at the fact that Nagisa was going to get answers one way or another.

At the Hyuuga household, Saki came down to the landing, she heard a familiar noise. It was Flappy her spirit creature. He had climbed down the stairs at the same time as Saki. He was just a step behind. He instantly hopped onto Saki's right shoulder. He said with a bright, soft smile, "Morning!"

Saki although tired, smiled back, "Morning!"

After she checked the maker's rack to find There was no sweet rolls. She wanted to a leisurely breakfast. It was not going to happen. Her mum was in room were the dough was made up, then baked. She had been talking on the phone. When she was finished, her mum called loudly, "Saki, are you here?"

" Yea...I'm in the cooling room! " Saki said. The phone rang in the kitchen. Saki did not think nothing of it. She always told her friends to call after bakery hours. She believed it was someone calling an order. She went through the archway which separated the staircase, the front of the shop and the back of the shop. She was going to have a sweet roll from one of over baked rack. One rack was for the rolls that were a little over baked.

To the entrance way, Saki asked her mum who was on phone. Her mum hung up the phone while her eyes, gave Saki a quick glance, "That was Mai on the line. She wanted to know, why you are not showing up at the train station?"

Her mum's answer seemed strange. Saki gave her mum a puzzled glance as she walked over to a rack. Why did Mai call so early in morning? Saki tried to the best of abilities to remember the reason why Mai made the call. Was she still sleepy.

Her mum said, "You are suppose to meet her at the bus stop for the game in Tyoko between your school and the L' Ercole Academy."

"What?" she asked with a surprised glance. She was going to pull out a roll from the cooling rack.

"A visiting school And your school are having a baseball game. They haven't left yet," her mum said.

Saki walked over to where her mum was. She looked her mum a little oddly. She said, "I don't remember anything about going to Tyoko for a game...are you sure!"

Yes...you better check the calendar. I think you wrote it down, " her mum said. she knew that Saki could forget very easy.

Saki turned to walk over to the calendar which hung at a wall near the phone. Saki stared at the calendar for a few minutes. She asked, "what's today?"

"It's the twenty third!" Exclaimed her mum. She was going to the sink to wash her hands before going to a table to start kneading a loaf of bread that was resting in a bowl.

Saki stared at the calendar for about minute or two before realizing the date was marked off as something special. It was the game between her school and L'Ercole Academy. Nearly had a heart attack, Saki uttered in half disbelief, "Uh? This can't be right!"

There was a tiny note written on the date of the twenty-thrid. Saki screamed when her brain kicked in. The date was the twenty third was today. A local baseball game was today and Saki completely forgotten about it. Her sister moniri was in the front of the shop. She was cleaning the counters when and both of their parents heard Saki heard having her was now starting to panic before her mum had hunted her down. Her mum placed a hand on her shoulder. She said raTher gently, "She will over in a half hour. That will be just enough time for you to have a quick bite and I got an outfit for you to wear laid out in the bathroom." "I'm such a baka-san!" Exclaimed Saki, her face turning a bright shade of red.

Her mum was all understanding at this point. She smiled as she leaned forward a little, "It is o.k. to forget sometimes!"

"What if I can't make...The game. This is very important to us. Our... " Saki groaned as her face grew in utter despair. Saki's feeling of utterly hopeless was quickly given into one of happiness and delirious! Her mum said as tried to make Saki turn around, "Just get dressed... I'll have your breakfast waiting for you...OK.!"

There was a way of getting Saki to listen to her. Saki knew her mum could pull the mundane into extraordinary miracles! Saki smiled, trying to make a bad situation better.

"Just go and get ready…you dad will be waiting in the car. He's outside getting the sign ready for the shop to open!" she smiled.

"Thanks mum...you're the best!" Saki smiled one of her best grins,

Saki turned around to face her mum. Her told than she should not be standing around. She had only twenty five before the train heading for Tokyo took off at the station.

On a train heading for Tokyo was a group of students from the L' Ecole des Cinq Lumeiers Institute. They had been on the train since the previous night. They were excited about their trip to Tokyo. Karen was sitting at the front. She glanced over a hand written schedule of the trip in which her study hall was taking before the Tokyo trip.

Her closest friend, Komachi sat at the window seat. Komachi was not paying attention to Karen as she watched the scenery flew by. She felt like she had been on a train before, but in an earlier time. She was happy, quietly in her mind taking notes. She wanted to start another story as she got done with her saltest short story. Lately, she was having issues with coming up with a great plot.

Nozmi did not mind taking an isle seat. She and Rin were sitting together with Urara. Rin was talking to Uruan. Uruan sat on the oppsite end from the otheer two. They had been discussing the trip to Toyko. The three grils had been to Toyko on many occasions, but to go as a full class was going to be special.

Being the tomboy of her clas, Rin exclaimed with a huge grin, "I can't wait for game!"

"You just want check out the cure guys on the team!" Nozmi teased. Her eyes glinted in a cheery stare.

"What are you grinning about?" Rin gasped, turning red in the face.

"you are blushing?" Urara asked, being very coy.

"NO…I'm not!" Rin said. Then, she looked at her two friends. "I...I...just routing for the team!" Exclaimed Rin. She had put the girls in their place. Rin was still a tomboy, yet things were changing for her. She and the others had met a young man who was an exchange student duirng the school year. He did have some Japanese lineage.

Nozmi remembered the guy for being quite shy. He was a very handsome half Japanese and half English. The girls from the school just happened to be drawn to him. "You talking about the guy who just moved here from over seas?" Nozmi asked.

"No...I was talking about Jack!" Exclaimed Rin.

"Jack?" Nozmi aksed. She believed it was a strange name for a guy. "Is that his name?"

"Yea…that's his nickname!" Urura smiled.

"Yea, he rather cute!" Exclaimed Nozmi, her cheeks were blushing.

Then, three girls instead of telling at each, they stared at each until one by one began to laugh.

While that was going on, Karen was finished with reading her notes. She had to look at a list events which were happening on the days their group had planned on the days they were going to. She wanted to be on time for everything. Karen had a slim, backpack with her notebook full of school related activities. She was a member of the student council of L"Ecole Cinq Lumeiers. It was suppose to be with her all times. She was not going to let anything in stand in her way of being a student councilor.

On reaching down to pick up the backpack, feeling the weight of the backpack had changed. It was not the nomral weight. she wodnered if something or someone was insdie that was not sopuse to be there. she knew Nutts, Milk, Syrup and Coco were there on the train. She wondered if Mailpo was in her backpack. Karen unzipped the main pocket to pull out a second notebook Karen reached in the opened pocket with right hand. Her reached to the bottom of pack to search for a small heart-shaped notebook. She kept special notes in the book. She had always carefully selected days to place her very private notes in the book. She placed everything she thought she needed for the trip.

Her hand blindly groped on the bottom of the bag. She did not run across the notebook at first. There were two regular sized folders Inside of the pack. She believed that it must have been pushed in corner of the pack. She ran her hand for a second time. She did not feel the notebook for a second time. For a third attempt Karen took her hand out and placed her backpack on her lap. Then, she placing both hands on the edges of the backpack. It was hard to look for anything in darkness of the opened middle if the pack. Karen started to pick out each article out of the bag. There were a few pens and pencils being pulled out. Karen had no place to put the writing tools. Then, she turned to a girl with green hair named Komachi sat next to Karen.

She asked, trying to remain calm, Komachi if she could hold the pens and pencils. Komachi asked a little surprise, "Why?"

"I'm just lookkng for my note book!" Karen said. She was starting to get a little nervours.

"Did you check before hyou left to see if you got it?'

"Yea..i think!"

"I'll hold your stuff…and just calmly take out other things one piece at a time!" Komachi replied gently. She was the quiet soul of the group.

Karen took a slow breath, letting her mind clear before placing theopened bag out onto the stretched hands of Komachi, Writing tools, pads of paper and a few other nameless thngs came spilling out onto Komachi's hands. Then. she reached into the opened bag to find the folders she had used for classes. She realized had to go for another pass. Her hand reached the bottom of the bag and felt nothing. Then, she moved her hands from the bag. On realized she had to open a small pocket on the outside of the pack itself. Having no notebook to refer any of the daily rotues she had planned for the rest of the class, she began to worry. Where she did placed the note book?

Komachi still holding the pens and pencils, asked, "What are you going to do?"

"Feel sick?" Karen said as she felt her mind whirl and heart sink. Where could that notebook be? She had to start to panic now and cause a scene like Nozomi. Yet, was not a real good idea to start something, anything now.

"It's not gone,is it?" Komachi asked. She tried to be gentle without being stupid. She looked sympathic to her firend. "What was in the notebook?"

"I had planned ouit the entire trip with Nutts and Coco. We worked hard on this trip!" she sighed, placing a hand up to her head. A headache was the last thing she wanted to have. She said, fighting back an urge to cry, "I even had places to see and the time tables for the best time to see the sgihts. It was prefect."

The only thing Karen to could do was start to cry and she did. She did want to make a sence, but she had not other option as Komichi tired ot help ease her friend's misfortune. She said, "Its going to be all right!"

Karen apepard to be fighting off the crying wiht grinting her teeth and ball up her fists. She palced her fists on her lap. They were turning into white balls. Then, they had isntalty flew up to her face with a smack after she had unclutched them. Karen was now angry with herself. She remembered in a weak attempt confused state of mind. Her face was now covered her hands. She did not want anyone to see the hurt look on her face. The idea of being a student representative was a great honor to help others and have fun. She did have problems, but she knew how to think on her own and figure out what could be done.

Komachi said with a gentle tone, "If we help you with remembering what was on the notebook, then we can still have good time!"

Karen somehow got her mind clear enough that she nodded after she removed her hands from her face. Her face was a little red and tear stained as she gave Komachi a hug and said, "Thanks!"

The birds happily perched on a quiet set of trees in a park in Tokyo. A set of three girls who were at the park had no idea there was going to be a wedding in the park! They sat on a long park bench. A blond haired girl named Marai had been yearning to see a cute boy as she and her friends were sight seeing. The birds began to take flight from their perches. The blond noticed the birds as they asserted to the skies. The blond was named Miria and two girlfriends were out for a school trip.

Another girl with black hair named Riko questioned Marai,"Where are they going?"

Marai replied with a shrug, "I'm not sure!"

A girl with green hair named Kotoha rounded off the team, she had her I-phone taking pictures of some trees in the distance. She said as she placed her phone back in her purse, "I wanted to see the Torii gates."

This was the first time where Mirai and her friends where out since the early part of the day. They were busy with everything for school. They were on a field trip. It was nice to be on a bench, resting one's feet. They were checking out what was gong on Tokyo for school. They were having fun. Mirai wanted to take a break. She found in a park near a museum. It was nice and cool. The park benches painted pink looked very inviting. Mirai wanted to sit and watch the world go by. Riko was happy enough to see the sun after the long days of study in school. While Kotoha wanted to study something other facts and figures. She got inserted in local history.

"Why?" Riko asked, feelin not tired at all. In fact she wanted to go look at more, but Mirai had other plans. She tired to remember where the cake shop was. She had a local guide book in her purse. There was talk about a local cake shop at school.

"Oh... there's a cake shop look on your face!" Kotoha teased. She thought she saw the local tour guide perking out of Riko's purse.

"This is nice!" Mirai said. She sat down very slowly, letting her body just relax itself into the grooves of the bench. She knew Kotoha was tired.

"You like to sit and watch…" Riko asked, before taking a seat on the bench next to Mirai. She sighed, letting the warmth of the day sweep into her lungs. "…the rest of the world go by?"

'Just for one day. I've so busy with eve thing! I just want to chill in the big city here…in the park!" she was feeling like she could stay there for the rest of the day.
