Chapter 9: A Surprising Change for Round 6? The Legendary Evil Ancient Saiyan vs. The Cursed Nordic Hunter! The Most Brutal and Savage Fight of Ragnarok!? Part 3
Both savage and brutal fighters lunge at each like wild beast with a thirst for blood, then pummel each other with all their might. Blood of the God and Saiyan splat against the ground as they go all out in killing each other or die trying. The blows created rippling shockwaves that caused more destruction to the arena but both fighters were too engrossed in their battle to know or care. Baldur delivers a savage right hook to Cumber's face, Cumber counter with a brutal uppercut to Baldur's jaw, Baldur use Glima and slams Cumber into ground having him land on his chin, Cumber jump into the air and hits Baldur with an Ki infused dropkick to the face, Baldur counter with a strong kick to the neck, Cumber grunts in pain and retaliates with palm heel strike, Baldur counters with Flash Strike but the Evil Saiyan blocked with his arm. Cumber create a ball of Ki and shot it at Baldur and hits him in the chest and follow up with a powerful right hook to the face, the Nordic Hunter counter with a fast and strong punch across the and follow up with savage kick to the chest making the ancient saiyan cough up blood but he grin and knocks Baldur back barrage of invisible blast from a glare. Like always, Baldur recovers with ease thanks to his curse while Cumber's stamina and strength decreases, something Baldur envied.
Thanks to his curse he was unable to enjoy the true thrill of battle, the unbearable pain, the rush of adrenaline, the feeling of pushing past your limits by sheer will of power! It was all gone! He couldn't enjoy anything in life because of his curse, he couldn't enjoy drinking, eating, women, nothing! And it was all because of his mother, Freya. He wasn't always this bad that he was seen as a madman but once he lost his ability to feel anything it drove him insane as he looked for a way to feel once again. His insanity got to the point where he was picking fights with other Gods from other pantheons, be it his brother Thor, Poseidon, Shiva, Zeus or Hades and even his own father, Odin but it was hopeless none of them could make him feel anything. He found himself going back to his mother begging and pleading for her to take away his curse so that he would feel again but she told him that she couldn't, it was here he grew to hate and resent her for putting through this hell because of the fact that she was worried of him dying.
"I have to say I'm pretty jealous of you." Baldur said, observing the Saiyan's injuries.
"Oh, really? How so mighty God?" Cumber asked, cracking his neck and shoulders.
"Because of the fact you can feel, you get to feel every punch, every kick, every throw and slam I give you. And I can't feel anything!" Baldur said, running fingers through his hair. "Do you know what it's like to never do anything? To have all of the pleasures of life stolen from you? Women? Drinking? Eating? Fighting!?" He shouted.
"I guess not." Cumber said, looking at all his injuries. "This pain is unbearable and I feel like I'm about to die at any given moment but that's the way we Saiyan live. We live for the thrill of battle, not being able to live like that is worse than death." He said in a rare soft tone.
"Yes! You get it don't you! I want nothing more than to feel something, anything!" Baldur shouted, clenching his head. "But I can't, because of my mother… that… damn… bitch. She stole that from me, she cursed and put me in this hell. If I had to live like this then… I'd rather die!" He shouts with pure rage, clawing and scratching at his head.
On the side of Gods
"Oh Baldur…" Freya said with heartache.
"Damn, didn't think Baldur felt like that." Loki stated.
On the side of Humanity
"Damn, Gods truly are the worst." Hearts said coldly.
"Truly they are… what kind of parent would sit and lie to their child as they suffer for their own peace of mind." Null said with zero emotion.
Baldur continues to deal self-harm in a fit of psychotic rage, Cumber just watches for a while. At one point it looked like Baldur was going to have a whole mental and emotional breakdown as he was bashing his head into the ground but then he stopped himself and let out a sigh and got himself back together.
"Sorry you had to see that, a bad part got out." Baldur said in a slightly serious tone, his wound already healed.
"You're not right in the head, are ya?" Cumber asked him.
"No. If you live the hell I did, neither would you." Baldur told him, letting out a hollow chuckle. "But enough talking…" He said, cracking his knuckles.
"Yeah, enough talking." Cumber said, agreeing.
The two lunge at each one more and enter another exchange and savage blows not holding back their intent to kill, Cumber had some time to recover his energy so he land a powerful punch to the chest, Baldur counter with a kick to the abdomen, Cumber slams his elbow into Baldur's neck, Baldur land a strong punch to Cumber's face, the two simply have an all out death brawl the longer they fight the more energy and strength decrease from Cumber. Even as he panting and getting more bruised the Evil Saiyan doesn't let up and throws an extra strong and savage punch to the Baldur gut making the Nordic Hunter cough up blood and then smile and throw his own strong and savage punch to his gut making him cough up blood now. The two take turns throwing gut punches that are intense and hard to watch, Cumber and Baldur both cough up blood and the Evil Saiyan staggers back in pain, he sees that a nasty and dark bruise formed around his stomach.
"D-Damn, this hurts." Cumber thought, wincing in pain.
"You should be careful, your body looks to be at its limit with all the damage you've taken." Baldur told him. "But your will and power is stronger, right!?" He shouted, rushing forward.
"Bring it!" Cumber shouted, powering up and rushing forward as well.
Cumber tanks another powerful from Baldur and counters with a Ki infused double ax fist right to his head, slamming him to the ground. Cumber jumps into the air and forms balls of Ki and blasts Baldur, he unleashes a barrage of powerful Ki blasts with all he got. When the smoke cleared Baldur took a bit of damage but it heals and up and he counters with Thunderbolt but Cumber dodged the deadly attack and lands, he was panting and was once again losing steam.
"My body is running out of steam, I need to finish here and now with everything!" Cumber thought, powering up more.
"Oh? Is this your last ditch effort? Well… I guess I'll go all out with this technique!" Baldur said, clenching both his fists. "I'm sure you'll enjoy it!" He said with insane laughter.
"I'll take anything you have and return it with more power!" Cumber told him.
The Evil Saiyan focused all his Ki into his fist and with his Ki control made large and sharp energy claws that were attached to his knuckles, Baldur looked impressed and unleashed his technique on Cumber.
"Take this, Hunt Of The Twin Moon Wolves!" Baldur shouted.
Baldur focuses all his physical strength into his fist and unleashes a barrage at lightspeed! Cumber tries bulldozing through it but the full release power of the punches were super fast and super heavy, each blow had enough power to destroy a mountain. Cumber endured the pain from the blows and got in close and stabbed Baldur right in the gut and launched himself and Baldur into a mountain! The Nordic Hunter spit up blood and give Cumber a bloody grin as the Evil Saiyan is battered and bruised.
"Is that all? I was hoping for more." Baldur said, spitting up more blood.
"Hahaha, I just needed to make sure you didn't try to run away." Cumber said, before powering up once more.
His dark Ki begins to flare up as everyone thought Cumber was going to increase his strength even more but soon it looked like the ancient saiyan was trying something else. His Ki began to spark and condense around him, like he was charging up something.
"It's all or nothing." Cumber thought, powering up to the max.
"This might kill you, you know that right?" Sanngrior asked him.
"I'm not so weak that this would do me in." Cumber thought back. "Let's see if you survive this!" He told Baldur
Cumber reaches the limit of his charging and gives Baldur a savage grin and release of his power in a massive explosion of raw energy! Baldur and the whole mountain was engulfed in the huge blast of Ki, everyone widened their eyes at the sight of this. There was a huge cloud of smoke, when it was cleared the whole upper top of the mountain was gone! It was dead silent, everyone thought that Cumber had died and waited for Baldur to reform, all of them waited with baited breath and it was unnerving.
Then finally, Baldur's fist punched through the remains of the mountain, his whole body was burned badly and his lower half was gone. The lower half of his body reformed and returned back to normal, Baldur saw that his pants were gone and used his divine power on trees and leaves to make new pants.
"Hahaha, crazy bastard. I was sure for a fact that I might die once more." Baldur said with a chuckle. "Already, Evil Saiyan, where did you go? I know for a fact that you didn't die?" He said, beginning to track him down.
Cumber was panting, he was in his base form and his body was battered, bloody, and bruised. That huge explosion of power took a lot out of him plus the damage he suffered throughout the battle played a role as well.
"Damn. I was expecting to have more time." Cumber muttered, sensing Baldur.
The Evil Saiyan began looking around for the plant that Sanngrior told him by looking through the grass and dirt but he had no idea what to look for or if it was still around because of the fact that the forest took a bit of damage from the battle of the two brutal fighters.
"Hey! Just the hell kind of plant is this?" Cumber thought, asking his Valkyrie.
"I can't remember the name but I know that one of my sisters told me it grows in trees and look like shrubs." Sanngrior told him.
"Really helpful." Cumber though frustrated.
He checked the trees and such but half of them were blasted to pieces or smashed up and those that didn't get harm in the battle only had pine needles, most were confused on what the Evil Saiyan was doing.
On the side of Gods
"Huh? What the hell is the beast doing?" The Black Raven asked, confused.
"Not sure. Maybe he's looking to make a weapon?" The White Raven stated.
"What for? With as powerful as he is. I guess in that state he's in now, then probably." Loki said, trying to figure out the Saiyan's movement.
"No… it can't be." Freya thought, fearing the worst.
On the side of Humanity
"Huh? There's a way to break Lord Baldur's curse?" Geir asked, shocked and confused.
"Of course. Like I said Freya cursed her son so he can never die, she knew all along but if Baldur knew then he would instantly break it." Null told her.
"How cruel, to lie to your own child and let them suffer like this." Hearts stated. "Honestly, it's too cruel."
"What will break the curse?" Geir asked the Bookkeeper.
"A plant, a small and shrubish plant." Null answered. "Mistletoe."
"Mistletoe?" Geir said, confused.
"The only plant that can break the curse place on Lord Baldur." A soft but intellectual voice stated.
Geir looked and saw a Valkyrie wearing a helmet with wings, long blonde and brown hair, blue eyes, and more armor added to the Valkyrie outfit.
"Sister Sigrun!" Geir shouted in surprise.
"Honestly, Sanngrior is a handful. I went and told her the tool to break the curse but she would rather go on a rampage with the monster than listen to me." Sigrun, the 5th Valkyrie Sister said with a sigh of annoyance.
"It's in Cumber's hand now." Brunhild stated, having a few cold sweats.
Cumber kept looking for the mistletoe solely based on what Sanngrior told him, it was difficult because all these plant life looked the same to him.
"Found you!" Baldur shouted, able to track down the saiyan.
"Tch, dammit!" Cumber cursed.
The Nordic Hunter rushes him and throws a strong punch but Evil Saiyan blocked with his arms but is still sent skidding across the, he was still recovering so he couldn't use Ki at the moment. Cumber throws a counter punch right to Baldur's face but it lacks the speed and power from before and Baldur saw this and was disappointed and delivers an even powerful punch across his face, sending him skidding back even more and slams into a tree. Baldur doesn't let up and pummels Cumber with back to back punches, the Evil Saiyan endured it and tries to retaliate but Baldur slams his fist into his face and left him in a daze and follow up with a punch to his bruised stomach, making Cumber let out a grunt of pain and get sent through the trees from a powerful and fast kick. Cumber crashes against the edge of the large lake, he lets out a grunt of pain and tries to get up but Baldur lands right on top of him, making him let out globs of blood. He picks Cumber by the throat and slams his head against his face, Cumber grunts in pain and throws a punch but Baldur catches it and then dunks his head in the water. The Evil Saiyan struggles and thrash about, he tries to hit Baldur with his other fist but does nothing, the Nordic Hunter continues to drown Cumber and has a cruel smirk, the Evil Saiyan feels himself getting weak from the lack of air.
Cumber felt the thought of death enter his mind, this wasn't how he thought it would end. This wasn't the kind of death he wanted, he couldn't let things end here! He put all the remaining energy he had and fired a white ball of light into the sky, Baldur thought it was a last ditch effort.
"Burst… open… and mix." Cumber thought, close to blacking out.
The white ball of light releases a flash and mix, Baldur looks at the white ball of energy in confusion and accidentally pulls out Cumber. The Evil Saiyan coughed up water and opened his eyes and looked at the white ball of light and felt a primal urge course through his body.
"What is this? Another one of your tricks?" Baldur asked, looking back at the Saiyan.
"My… trump card… so watch God, as I show you the true power of the Saiyans." Cumber said in a deeper and more beastly voice.
Cumber let a roar of primal fury as his body bulk up and grew in size, he broke free of Baldur whole and tossed him to the side with unmatched strength. Cumber's eyes turned pure red, his teeth became more sharp, his tail whip and thrash about, he began to transform as he grew more and more in size. This continued until he was the size of a giant, Cumber had become a Great Ape but it was different from the standard form with brown fur instead Cumber's Great Ape form had golden orange fur, he was a Golden Great Ape.
On the side of Humanity
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAA! H-H-HE'S HUGE!" Geir said in fear.
"So he finally bust it out." Hearts said with a chuckle.
"That's… interesting." Sigrun said surprised.
"J-Just what is that form!?" Geir asked, still in fear at the giant form of the Saiyan.
"The true power of the Saiyan's, the Great Ape form. Saiyan have the ability to transform into giant monkeys when they come in contact with blitz waves made from the moon or in this case an artificial moon." Null explained. "In their Great Ape form their strength and speed increase by 10. But… this is unusual." He said, observing Cumber's Great Ape form.
"Huh? How so?" Geir asked, confused.
"Great Apes usually have brown fur but Cumber's form has golden fur." Null pointed out. "This should be interesting." He stated. "Has Cumber even dug more into the Great Ape form?"
"Not really but this battle should help him do so and possibly grow stronger." Hearts stated.
The Golden Great Ape Cumber let out a deep roar, meanwhile Baldur looked at the giant form in surprise and dark excitement.
"This was your trump card? All you've done is make yourself a bigger target!" Baldur said, jumping right at his head. "I've fought and killed giants before with my brother, so this will be easy!"
But to his surprise Cumber dodges the punch with ease and slams his fist into the ground, burying Baldur. Cumber looked down at the Hunter God and stomped on him a few times but each time he did so the whole arena shook. Cumber stomp and look at the flattened and bloody remains of Baldur.
"Just because I'm bigger doesn't mean my speed has decreased." Cumber said in a deeper and beastly tone.
The Golden Great Ape opened his mouth and fired a red beam, it nearly blasted a hole right through Valhalla, that's how deep the blast was. Baldur reformed with ease but had to make another pair of pants.
"Hahahahahaha! I wasn't expecting that but I'm not disappointed! You're much stronger and faster than any mindless giant!" Baldur shouted.
"I told you not to underestimate me! I'm the strongest Saiyan alive!" Cumber said, with a beastly roar.
"But you know what they say, the bigger they are the harder they fall." Baldur said with a dark smirk.
"You can try, it will end badly for you." Cumber said a dark smirk on his monstrous face.
Baldur takes on the challenge with a savage smile and jumps right at Cumber once more but the Golden Great Ape smacks him like a fly into a mountain, he picks up one of the trees and observes for a bit then sharpened it into a point and threw it like a spear. Hitting Baldur in the gut but the Nordic God pulled it out and tossed it to the side, he launched himself forward like a cannonball and threw a powerful punch but Cumber meant the punch with his own powerful punch and smashed Baldur into the ground. The Nordic God's right arm was mangled and smashed up but it healed up and returned back to normal, he picked up a tree and threw it at Cumber but the Golden Great Ape smashed it into splinters and fired another mouth beam at Baldur, creating a huge explosion. The Hunter God was still alive with only his skin burn off but it grow back like nothing happened, Baldur jams both hands into the ground and with all his might tear out a large rock and threw it right at Cumber but the Golden Great Ape reduce it to pebbles with a mighty punch and was about to blast Baldur but the Nordic God was gone, a few minutes later a fast blur hit Cumber with a uppercut and it was reveal to be Baldur with his usual savage grin, making the giant saiyan stagger back from the blow but the Nordic Hunter was smack by Cumber's large tail. The Golden Great Ape spit out a bit of blood, Cumber looked to where he smacked Baldur and saw the Nordic God had suffered a serious blow, his legs were bent the wrong way and his right arm and shoulder were all mangled up but his body healed up like away.
Cumber frowned at this, even as a Great Ape the Nordic Hunter was still able to keep fighting him and the blow he gave the massive saiyan hurt. He needed to find the mistletoe so that he could kill the bastard. The Golden Great Ape pick up tree after tree and carefully observe them to find what he was looking for but it prove still to be a difficult, he then felt a strong and painful blow to the left side of his torso and look down and saw that Baldur had recover and hit him with a powerful kick, Cumber stomp on him with more power then before and for good measure blasted him with a red beam from his mouth and kick the crush and smoldered body across the arena and continue looking around, he keep picking up trees and look through them for the mistletoe but got nothing, he cough up blood for a moment and clench his torso even with his transformation helping him gain energy and stamina back it didn't heal up injures and he suffered a great deal of damage that would kill most of the representative of Humanity. With his search for the mistletoe, it was like looking for a four leaf clover and Cumber was losing his patience but he had no choice because his Ki wasn't enough to end the Nordic Hunter. Baldur had healed up and saw the giant ape form of the Evil Saiyan and was confused on what he was doing but didn't really care, he wanted to see just how much this form had to offer in this fight.
"Hahaha, let's see if this gets your attention." Baldur muttered, squatting and putting a lot of power into his legs.
He launched himself like a missile right at the Golden Great Ape, he used Flash Strike and got him right to the back of his head, Cumber lost his sense of balance and took a knee as he grunt in pain. Baldur smirked and used his Rune of Swift to blitz right at him, slamming his fist against his face and kept going left and right to his face over and over with powerful punches. Cumber gritted his teeth and caught Baldur and slams him into the ground, he squeeze his fist in hopes of crushing Baldur but the Nordic God was resisting and was trying to break free, the two had a struggle of physical strength that lasted for a while but in the end the winner was Baldur as he break free and slam right into his forehead like fast bullet, knocking Cumber back and causing him to nearly fall on his back, blood drip down his forehead. Baldur then used his Rune of Swift and Rune of Strength then blitzed all over the place and hit Cumber in every injury part of his with strong and hard blows. Cumber grits his teeth in pain, he tries to smack and swat away the Nordic Hunter but he was still getting his sense of balances, he tries to hit Baldur with a red beam but miss and gets hit in the face once more, the Golden Great Ape let out a roar and gets to his feet and cupped his fist together and slams them into Baldur. His whole body had dents and bruises, he coughed up blood and felt his whole body tremble in pain and was sure that more of his bones were broken.
"Shit! My body hurts like hell!" Cumber thought, licking blood off his lips.
Baldur smirk and jump high in the air and hits Cumber right in the face with Hunt of the Twin Moon Wolves and cause him to stagger back in pain as he couldn't see, Baldur lands on his feet and launch himself forward and hits Cumber right in the abdomen with Divine Hunter's Shot making him cough up more blood, Baldur jump over Cumber and grabs him by his hair and slams him into the ground, causing him to crash into the ground and laying on his back. Baldur jumps over the Golden Great Ape and hits him right in the chest with his feet, Cumber let out a roar of pain. Baldur walked up to the face of the Golden Great Ape coming near the neck, he put his foot on it and added pressure making the giant beast gasp.
"You seem to be out of it, what could be so important that you treat me like a second option?" Baldur asked the large ape Saiyan.
Cumber merely growl at him and tries to get up but his body was still rattle with pain from so many blows and the damage it cause, Baldur added more pressure and the Golden Great Ape could feel his oxygen being slowly being cut off, he grits his teeth once more and use his tail to smack Baldur but he block it with his his arm.
"Nice try, but I'll have to be more creative than that." Baldur told him, adding even more pressure. "If you don't start getting your head in the game, I'll really kill you this time." He threatened.
Cumber open his mouth like he was about to say something but instead a red beam was shot out, the Nordic Hunter thought it was a poor attempt at a distraction but Cumber still has the ability to control his Ki so the red beam change into a ball of energy and flew downward right at the two and hit them both, making a big explosion! Baldur let out a stream of insane laughter as his body healed as he was doing so, Cumber slams his hand into him and sends him flying into another Nordic rock formation. His chest was burnt and bleeding a bit but he was still breathing, he let out a growl of pain, his body couldn't handle much more of this.
"Even with the power of the Great Ape that bastard can still keep up like it's nothing, I need more… something beyond even this form." Cumber thought, taking a knee and throwing up blood.
"Is that even possible for you? With the shape you're in it's likely you'll just up and die before that." Sanngrior told him.
"Shut it, if those tailless Saiyan wretches can do it so I will as well!" Cumber thought back, getting to his feet.
Cumber then remembered the odd ape-like forms those two other Saiyans had along with their tails as well and the same with Xeno Vegito, it was like the Great Ape in terms of speed and raw power. Cumber gained an idea and powered up, this shook all of Valhalla much more violently than before, so much so that the arena began to crack. Cumber let out a mighty roar as his power flared up and began to shrink but as his body decreased in size his power only skyrocketed, Baldur looked in shock and awe at this and only had a mad grin as he could only swell in excitement. This continued for a while until he returned to his original size but his power was much more powerful than even his Dark Super Saiyan Rage 3, he had normal black hair, his eyes were dark golden and he was covered in dark red fur, he had reached a new level of power, he had upon Super Saiyan 4.
"So this is the power that one can reach when one combines the power of the Great Ape and Super Saiyan." Cumber thought, opening and closing his hand.
"And here I thought you couldn't pull out any more power, I'm so glad I was wrong!" Baldur shouted, getting more excited.
"Hmmm." Cumber said, looking at him.
"You don't have time for this, your body is already at its limit. You need to find the mistletoe now!" Sanngrior told him.
"I know that." Cumber thought back.
On the side of Humanity
"Lord Null, what's with that form?" Geir asked, confused.
"That is the ultimate form of the Saiyan race, Super Saiyan 4. It combines the Super Saiyan form with the Great Ape, it is the highest form of power a Saiyan could gain without the power of God Ki. As things stand, Cumber's power is on a whole new level, I expected this but to see it is a whole different thing." Null told her.
"Cumber is 20 times stronger than he was at the beginning of this fight, but I wonder if it is possible for him to reach Super Saiyan 5 or even that odd limit breaker form." Hearts said intrigue.
"D-Does this mean… we have a chance to win?" Geir asked, feeling hopeful.
"Just watch and see." Null told her.
Cumber cock his fist back and hits the air, sending a blast of force at Baldur and sent him flying all the way to another mountain, Cumber then fly up to the top of the mountain and stick both of his hand into pull the top of it off and slams the pointy part into Baldur and force him into the ground. Cumber believed that would hold him for a while and flew off and looked through all the trees for the mistletoe, he kept picking through tree after tree for the plant that could end his foe's curse and make him killable.
"Where is it? Where is it? Where the hell is it!? All these plants look the same to me!" Cumber thought, looking through the trees.
He kicked down one of the trees in anger for not having the plant that he needed, he was about to look through another tree in hope of finding it.
"Hey! Over there!" Sanngrior told him.
"What!?" Cumber thought back, and looked at a tree with light green shrubs.
"That's the one, that's the plant my sister told me about!" Sanngrior told him.
"Finally." Cumber said, flying right at the plant.
Baldur dug himself out of the ground and didn't waste time in tracking down the Evil Saiyan, he followed the smell of his blood and saw him at one of the trees, picking at something. Cumber pulled out the mistletoe and now could finally kill Baldur.
"Found you!" Baldur shouted, jumping at Cumber and hitting him with a powerful punch, knocking through the tree and into a Nordic rock formation.
Cumber let out a grunt of pain but was still conscious in fact he had a terrifying and murderous grin on his face, Baldur saw this and was intrigued on why.
"What's with that smile? Another plan to try and "kill me" huh?" Baldur asked.
"Not a plan, a way to kill you." Cumber said, showing the mistletoe.
"A plant? What are you going to try and poison me? Sorry, I already tried that." Baldur told him, laughing.
"You'll see." Cumber told him, his grin still present.
Baldur had him a derange smirk and lunge right at Cumber, the Evil Saiyan clenched his fist and grind up the mistletoe into his fingers and hit the Nordic Hunter in the chest with a spear hand jab, the essence of the mistletoe spread throughout the Nordic God's body as the fingers of the Evil Saiyan dug into his flesh and causing him to bleed. Baldur staggered back for a moment and paused, confused on what Cumber just did.
On the side of Humanity
"And here it goes, the deed is done." Null stated.
"Huh? D-Does this mean…" Geir said, feeling hopeful.
"It took a while but it's done. Sanngrior really gave me a scare there." Sigrun said calmly. "But now Baldur has lost his curse!"
On the side of Gods
"N-No… it can't be…" Freya said with horror.
"What do you mean, all that mortal did was stab me… it did barely any damage." Loki said, confused by her reaction.
Baldur's confusion soon turned into shock as a blue glow came off his body, he felt the small wound on his chest and saw that it wasn't healing, he winced from the jolt of pain. Pain? He could feel pain? He could feel?
"What is this? I… I can feel this… I-I can feel everything." Baldur said, feeling his wound and all the pain. "HehehehahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I CAN FEEL! I CAN FEEL ONCE MORE! THE CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He said laughing, tears of joy running down his face.
On the side of the Gods
"Nooooooooo!" Freya shouted in despair and horror.
"Wait, does this mean Baldur is vulnerable!?" Loki asked in shock.
Baldur continued to laugh and cry as he could in long last feel once again, Cumber let him have his moment only so that his body could rest. Baldur finishes and lets out a sigh and looks Cumber in the eyes with a smirk.
"I'm grateful to you, I can finally feel and enjoy myself." Baldur told him. "As thanks, I'll kill you quickly and with everything I got!"
"Hahahaha, don't get ahead of yourself. I only did it so that I can finally kill you." Cumber told him, cracking his knuckles. "I want to test out this form and see how far I can go, so let's fight to the death until one of us finally dies!"
Cumber launched himself forward and as Baldur threw a powerful punch the Evil Saiyan dodge and hit him in the face with a punch so powerful that a shockwave blasted through the whole arena and sent him flying through trees and rocks and into the wall on the side of the Gods.
"How was that? How does that feel?" Cumber asked him.
Baldur coughed up blood and fell to the ground, he let out more laughter as he took in all the pain he was feeling, he got up like nothing happened and licked the blood off his lips.
"Hahahaha, this is great! This is the greatest feeling in my entire life!" Baldur shouted.
Cumber merely smirk and held out his hands and fire a barrage of Ki blast right at the Nordic Hunter, engulf in a explosion, there were flames everywhere and because of the fact that he was no longer curse he had to block the blast with his bare arms which left them burn and bloody the unbearable pain from the feeling of his burnt flesh was the greatest thing he felt in a long time! Cumber charge like a bull and delivers a powerful punch to the gut and then pummel the shit out of him Baldur didn't waste time in fighting back with his own powerful punches, both brutal fighters hit one of another in a all out brawl as they throws punches, kicks, and all kind of blows at each other. Cumber get sent flying into a tree from a kick from Baldur, Cumber fire more Ki blast at Baldur, engulfing him in a explosion after explosion until a part of the arena was on fire, Baldur leap from the flames with his whole body cover in burns and bloody but he couldn't be any happier, his body was searing with pain and pleasure all at the same time. A red aura came off his and when he threw a punch it created a small explosion that sent Cumber skidding back, he had a small burn mark on his right shoulder. The red aura disappears from Baldur's body moments later, Cumber raises a brow at this but continues on with the fight.
Baldur attacks Cumber with Hunt of the Twin Moon Wolves the Evil Saiyan clenched his fist and attacks with multiple Ki infused punches, the blows clash. Both barrages of blows shook up the arena and soon more of it began to crack even more from the raw power of these two, it was growing so intense that it was beginning to seriously affect their surroundings. Cumber jump into the air and delivers a Ki infuse ax kick right to Baldur's head and slams him into the ground, Baldur grabs his leg and slam the hulking beast of a Saiyan into the ground a few times and throw him right through a bunch of trees and into a large rock. Cumber gets up and only spits blood to the ground and lunges forward with a powerful and savage kick right to Baldur's gut, making him spit up blood and stagger back in pain, the Hunter God had a mad bloody grin and slams his fist into Cumber's face and knocks him back. Cumber lands on his feet and only stumbles a little, he form two large balls of Ki and throws them right at Baldur, a huge explosion engulf him and only creates more fire, Cumber could still sense his foe and saw that Baldur once more blocked with his arms which cause more of his skin to be blasted off and charred his flesh but a red fiery aura was around him.
"More! Hit me more!" Baldur shouted, laughing from the thrill of the pain and battle. "I've missed this for so long! Give me more! Hit me with everything you got!" He shouted
The red aura around Baldur grew bigger and his eyes had an orange glow, he rushed Cumber and punched him in the chest and created a big explosion, knocking Cumber into the air. The Evil Saiyan stopped himself, his fur was singed, Cumber spit out blood but was still able to fight, he delivered a strong right hook to the face and followed up with a flurry of punches to the gut and finished with a hard kick to the chin. Baldur grins as he takes in all the pain and counter with a strong punch to his face and leaving another explosion from the blow, Cumber grunts in pain and clench his fist and counters with a Ki infused punch to the face, Baldur counter with slightly fiery punch to the face as well, making another explosion. Cumber coughs up more blood, his body still has plenty of energy but all the severe injuries that he's suffering are bringing his body to the limit. Cumber wipes blood off his lips, he powers up himself to the max unleashing the full power Super Saiyan 4 which causes his muscle to bulk up to the max, his eyes going clear white, and a dark red and black aura surrounded his body. At the same time, Baldur channeled his divine power as well, the rune on his body glowed with a light blue light and the red fiery aura grew more intense and flame appeared from both his hands. Both savage fighter lunge at each other with a bloodthirsty grins, Cumber lands a powerful punch right to the face, Baldur tank it and counter with a flaming fist to the gut, Cumber spat out blood and delivers a powerful right hook, Baldur chuckle from the pain and throws a flaming punch to the face, Cumber grunts in and counters with a hard headbutt, Baldur takes his turn to grunt and counter with a double ax fist to the head, Cumber grits his teeth and delivers a powerful kick deep into the gut, Baldur spat out blood and fall to his knees, he continue to cough up blood and laugh from the intense pain.
"This… is amazing! This feeling, this pain, I love it!" Baldur said, laughing out loud and getting to his feet. "The rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins, the overwhelming pain all over my body, the feeling of putting actual effort into a fight! I love it all!" He shouted.
"Hahaha, I can't help but enjoy this as well. I live for fighting with all my might." Cumber said, licking the blood off his lips. "Killing you will be a real treat, let's pick this up a notch." He said, with a beastly grin.
Cumber focused his Ki into his right hand and watched it flare up around it, he clenched his right hand and put more power into both his hands and used his Ki control and created a two sided battle axe made of Ki. Baldur look on with excitement and gave the Evil Saiyan derange grin, Cumber charge and swung down the Ki axe and slash him across the chest, blood spill out of Baldur making him grit his teeth and in pain but still grin and kick Cumber but the ancient saiyan dodge and delivers another slash to his midsection causing more blood to spill to the ground. Baldur tightened his muscle to keep his organs from spilling out, Cumber swung the Ki axe right for the neck but Baldur dodge and channeled the fiery aura into his hand and form a ball of fire and throws right into Cumber's face! The Evil Saiyan tanks the hit but stagger back in pain, Cumber delivers a powerful kick once more to Baldur's gut, making him grunt in pain and cough up more blood and knocked him into a tree, Cumber rush him and swung the Ki axe at him in an attempt to decapitate the Nordic Hunter but Baldur duck so that Cumber only ended up chopping down the tree and leaving himself open for a powerful punch to the gut and a strong flaming explosion to sent him skidding back. Cumber spits up blood to the ground and even those his legs were shaking he stood his ground and unleash a energy slash with a swing of the Ki battle axe, Baldur barely dodge it, Cumber unleash more energy slashes at the Nordic Hunter to slice him in half but Baldur use his Rune of Swift to dodge them and throw balls of fire at the Evil Saiyan. Cumber took out the fireballs with a swung of his Ki battle axe and then fire a ball of Ki at in front of him making a cloud of dust and unleash a barrage of large energy slashes, Baldur swiftly dodge as many as he could but some manage to leave cuts on his body, two cuts on his right arm, one on his left leg, and a visible cut on his right cheek.
Cumber was panting a bit and decided to absorb the energy of the surrounding arena to strengthen the Ki battle axe and unleash more energy slash, it grew slightly bigger with every swing and one of the energy slashes hit the barrier and strain against it for a bit before running out of energy and disappearing. Baldur close the distance and use his Rune of Strength and delivers a strong and hard flaming right hook to Cumber's face and follows up with a flaming uppercut, making more of the ancient saiyan's blood spill out of his mouth and onto the ground, Cumber grits his teeth and slams his forehead into Baldur's face to make him stagger back and swung his Ki battle ax to chop in in half but the Nordic Hunter dodge and got his torso cut instead due to the increase size of the Ki weapon, Cumber focus his power and throw a powerful punch that sent Baldur flying into another mountain that had snow, he embrace the sheer pain from the blow and icy chill of the snow, digging his finger deeper into the icy ground, Cumber flies at him and hits him in the face with a strong kick to makes him fall face first into the snow ground and feeling more of the chilling icy powder.
"Time to end this." Cumber thought, raising his arm and swung down his Ki battle ax.
Baldur caught the arm much to the Evil Saiyan's surprise and saw the Norid God's eyes had a dark blue glow with an icy blue aura around his body. He tightened his grip on Cumber's arm and so it began to get cover in ice making the ancient saiyan panic and quickly attacks with a kick but Baldur caught it and clenched it and it slowly began to freeze, Cumber panic and tries to break free but Baldur tighted his grip as the freezing ice cover his limbs in quick fashion. The Evil Saiyan gritted his teeth and open his mouth and fired a beam from his mouth and blasted Baldur right in the chest and knocked him away, skid across the snowy ground and had a smokey burn wound on his chest, Baldur exhale and put a hand on his chest and ice cover the wound and relief the burning pain with a calming chill. Cumber swung down his Ki battle ax and unleashed a larger energy slash right at Baldur but the Nordic Hunter slammed his palm into the ground and made a wall of ice with Nordic runes on it, the energy slash hit the wall of ice and both of them got destroyed. Cumber bulldoze charge right at Baldur and aim for the neck to make a clean cut to take off the Nordic God's head but it was catch, Baldur used his Rune of Strength to shatter the Ki battle ax and then follow up by channeling the same icy power into his fist and punches Cumber into the gut and sent him back into the flat area of the arena. Cumber let out a groan and get to his feet, Baldur jump down after him and throws balls of ice at the ancient saiyan, he use Ki blast to take them out but more were throw and hit Cumber making more parts of his body freeze up the beastly saiyan channel his dark Ki and freed himself from the ice.
"This sure is something, this feeling, the mixer of pain and thrill." Baldur said, looking at his hands. "I wish this could last forever, but it needs to come to an end… like all things." He said, looking at Cumber.
"Same, this was the most intense and bloody battle I ever had. And I enjoy every second of it." Cumber said, observing all his injuries. "But it must end." He said, looking at Baldur.
Baldur and Cumber had an understanding with one another, they were both savage and bloodthirsty warriors that fought for the thrill of battle to a much higher degree then either Thor or Kenpachi. This understanding made them rivals with a mutual respect for the other's sheer power and beastly nature, which is why they wanted to kill each other so badly.
Cumber unleashes all his power within himself pushing his body to the very limit as his hair spikes up and his muscles swell up even more while Baldur channels the powers of flames and ice through his body and into his fist making himself reach the peak of his strength, flames on his right and ice on his left. They launch at each other and throw and mighty punch into each others face at full force taking the blow and all the pain that came with it, they didn't stop or let out as they have the same savage grin on their face but it was more than that, it was joy and respect for the fact this was it, this bloody fight to death was the greatest high either of them could have because it was with a opponent that wouldn't crumble or break so easily. Baldur and Cumber continue to pummel the absolute shit out of each other with nothing but the intent to kill!
On the side of Humanity
"L-Lord Null…" Geir said, watching the fight.
"Hm?" Null said, not taking his eyes off the fight.
"I-I think I understand, I think I understand why… you pick Cumber." Geir said, her eyes glue to the two warrior's brawl.
"Oh? And how so?" Null asked her.
"It's because of his willpower isn't, the sheer tenacity that helped him keep this fight going for so long." Geir told him.
"Mmmm, well done Geir. You're right, no other fighter is as stubborn as this beast of a Saiyan." Null told her.
On the side of the Gods
"Well well, I've never seen Baldur smile like that before, seem to really be enjoying himself." Loki said in a calm tone.
"Baldur… my son… please, win." Freya said, praying for her son's safety.
Back in the arena the two beastly savages were still going at it, no dark Ki, no divine power, just vicious brute force and sheer will power. Cumber slams his fist into Baldur and the Nordic God counter with a fiery punch of his own to the Evil Saiyan's face, Cumber throws a left hook and Baldur retaliates with a solid and icy uppercut, Cumber throws a powerful right hook and Baldur returns the blow with a flaming left hook, Cumber attack with a powerful double ax fist to the face and Baldur clenched his fist together and delivers a ice and fire blow with a upwards swing. Cumber stagger back and grits his teeth and hold his hand out and unleash a powerful Ki blast the engulf Baldur, scorching his body and leaving burn out but the Nordic Hunter endure it and hits Cumber with icy and fire blast and knocks him back and then punch his fist into the ground and freeze Cumber's legs, holding him in place and channel flames into his fist and throws a strong punch to his gut and unleash a powerful explosion that blasted the ancient saiyan away and cause him to bounce across the ground, he spit up blood and shakenly get to his feet with a severe and painful scorch mark on his gut now but then he vomit up blood and fell to his knees, panting. Everyone thought that Cumber was done for but then Baldur spat up blood and took a knee, since he wasn't protected by the curse anymore his body was at the limit as well from all the damage he took.
"I-I'm not done yet." Baldur said, panting and in a lot of pain. "I still have one more ace up my sleeve." He said, getting back up.
"T-This isn't over, I will fight on." Cumber said, reforming to let this be his limit. "I'll shatter my limits." He said, getting to his feet.
Baldur activates his Rune of Limits and removes the limiters all over his body and unleashes his full divine power, the runes on his body had a bright red glow as a crimson aura around his body, he mixed the fire and ice power together and then channeled it into his fist! Cumber powers up with all his might pushing his body and power to the limit as his aura grew larger and more intense as short gleams of a bright red shine all over his body, his body bulk up past its limit and in a bright explosion of power was released! Now the Evil Saiyan's body had changed with his red fur now having a brighter shine, a pink and crimson aura with a black outline around it, his hair was now white and flowing and his golden eyes were glowing.
"This is it, this is where I kill you!" Cumber and Baldur thought at the same time!
On the side of Humanity
"Well now, this is a surprise. It seems like Cumber has unleashed a hybrid form of Super Saiyan 5 and the Limit Breaker form, I think this will be called Primal Limit Breaker. But with the state his body was in and the sheer amount of power it takes it is likely that he only has seconds at best to finish this." Null said, surprised at this sight. "But now that Baldur is cured of his curse, all the damage he takes and the limit removing form he activated, it's likely that he doesn't have a lot of time as well."
"So it's safe to say that this battle will end on this final strike." Heart said, getting excited from this.
"This is it! Please Sister Sanngrior! Please Cumber! Win!" Geir thought, praying for the victory of Cumber.
On the side of the Gods
"Guess this is it. It's all or nothing for Baldur." Loki said, wondering on who will be the winner.
"Please Baldur! Please! Win!" Freya thought, on the edge of suspicion.
Back in the arena, Cumber and Baldur look each other in the eye with one thought in mind, killing the fighter in front of them! It was all or nothing in this final strike, this was it for both of them as only one of them can rain as the victor.
"Sanngrior max the power of my Ki to its full power." Cumber told her.
"Huh!? That could kill you in the state you're in now!" Sanngrior told him with a surprising amount of concern in her voice.
"Done it." Cumber told her, clenching his fist.
"I hope you bring your all, Cumber. This is all my power!" Baldur shouted.
"Bring it, I'll make sure this kills you once and for all, Baldur!" Cumber shouted back.
Cumber could feel his Ki reach max power and focus all that power into his right fist, making a orb of bright crimson energy form around it while Baldur focus his fire and ice power in his left fist and brace himself. Cumber wasn't one for naming attacks but if he could name one, he would call this Primal God's Fist! Baldur would name this final attack Wrath of the Blazing Summer and Raging Winter! They lunge at each other one last time as they put every last bit of strength and power into the fist, they cock them back and with one last like into each others eyes giving each other a grin of respect, they slam their fist into each other that end up creating a massive explosion of energy that engulfs them and they whole arena! The blast strains against the barrier as everyone in the audience looks with shock, fear, and awe. The explosion stopped after a while and when it did it revealed a completely flat land, the trees, the rock formations and even the mountains were completely gone from the overwhelming blast, the only thing present were two figures, Baldur and Cumber in their base forms. Both fighters were badly hurt, covering blood, nasty bruises, and burns marks, both of their arms which were severely damage with the skin being blasted off and revealing flesh and muscle, a grim and nasty sight to behold. The audience was silent and thought this might end in a tie but that was dash away as Baldur slowly gets to his feet but Cumber wasn't far behind, both were in a lot of pain it shouldn't have been possible for either of them to be alive let along move. Both warriors move on sheer willpower, they wouldn't crumble until their opponent was dead. With no energy or strength left it should have killed them both but they wouldn't let this end in a tie, one of them was dying.
Cumber and Baldur slowly approach each other and when they were within each other range, the two give it one last try to kill one another, Baldur tries to choke out Cumber by going for his throat but the Evil Saiyan dodge and tries to crush Baldur's skull by grabbing his head but the Nordic God grabs his arm and use his Glima to throw Cumber to the ground and grabs his throat and squeeze, choking him out. The Evil Saiyan gag and gasp from the lack of air and grabs Baldur's arm and wrap his tail around his neck and choked him out and did something surprising and used Glima to throw off him and into the ground, being able breath one more Cumber tries to get up as quickly as possible but Baldur was able to get up faster and wraps his injured arm around his neck and used his good arm and pull and squeeze much harder, choking out the large beastly saiyan once more, Cumber thrash and shook his body to break from but the Nordic God wouldn't let go, Cumber could feel his body growing weaker and his conscious was fading but with all his might he moves his injured arm to Baldur's face to jam out one of his eyes! The Nordic Hunter grunt in pain and was caught off guard by the act and that gave Cumber the chance to break free by slamming his back into the ground and get to his feet, Baldur tries to make a spear hand attack to to ancient saiyan's chest but Cumber caught his attack swung into the ground a few times and use his injured arm to grabs Baldur's arm, he tightened his grip and in a brutal show off fashion, rip it off! Everyone looked on in shock and horror as Baldur let out a scream of pain.
"I… told you… that I would… kill you… in the most savage way possible." Cumber said with a savage and bloodthirsty grin.
"B-Bastard…" Baldur said with a bloody grin.
On the side of the God
"NOOO! Baldur NOOOOOO!" Freya shouted, trying to get into the arena.
But the moment she did the barrier stop her, she tried to force her way through but it wouldn't budge an inch as she pound her fist against it, Loki or Odin made a move to stop her because it was a hopeless act.
Cumber continued his brutality by rip off Baldur's other arm, he held by his throat with his tail and then shoved his fist right through his gut with his injured arm! Baldur vomits up blood but still kept his grin on his face, Cumber did a slit throat gesture that Baldur had done to him and blood burst from his throat and splash onto Cumber's chest, the Evil Saiyan finish his brutal act by shoving both of his finger into the slit of the throat and slowly begin to pull his head off, the only thought Baldur had as he was about to die.
"Damn, you really are a monster. I wish we could have fought longer after my curse was broken... oh well, it was fun!" Baldur thought with a grin of satisfaction on his face.
Cumber tears Baldur's head off right off his shoulders! That causes his blood to spray all over his face and chest, the now die Nordic Hunter's body falling to the ground.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Freya shouted with pure horror and heartbreak!
Cumber, now covered in blood and holding the head of Baldur, looked him in his now dead eyes and saw the grin on his face. He was quiet for a while before he held up it in the air and let a battle cry of victory and pound his chest with his injured arm.

The audience on both sides were quiet as they could only look on with shock and horror even though Humanity gave a small victory in this round, no one, not a soul cheered for the Evil Saiyan whole the God like at him with pure fear. Cumber being cover in the blood of a God and the grim look on his face was a terrifying sight to behold, Freya fall to her knees in heartache at the lost of her son, Loki and Odin had calm face but look absolute piss at the lost of their family member and defeat at the hands of a mortal once more. Cumber took one more look at the head of Baldur with an unreadable expression on his face as the barrier was taken down.
"Farewell, Baldur… thanks for the fight to the death, it was fun." Cumber said in a rare soft tone.
Cumber then turns and chucks the head of his fallen rival right at Odin and the other Nordic Gods, the head passes by Freya with only a few centimeters and into the wall, it misses Odin by a few inches. The Nordic Goddess turns and slowly approaches Baldur's head, she grabs it and looks at it in pure horror and sadness, she holds close to her chest and cries. Soon the head and the rest of his body crumble and turn to light particles. Cumber turned to glare right at Zeus, and did the same gesture at him, making it clear he was next.
The Evil Saiyan then walk to the entrance without batting eyes at the Gods, Freya's sadness turn to rage as she glare at her son's murder in pure hatred. She wasn't just going to let him walk away like this, she was going to avenge her son! In cries of rage and heartache, Freya lunged from the balcony and right at Cumber with a sword at the ready to shove right through his heart! Before Cumber could react as it was about to pierce him, it stopped dead in its tracks as a hand grabbed it, Null was the one that stopped it, the Bookkeeper gave the Nordic Goddess a neutral look as he had an iron grip on the blade.
"That's enough, I suggest you turn back now." Null told her.
"Hand off me, Bookkeeper!" Freya shouted.
"Only if you return back to your side, The fight is over. You've lost, your son is dead and is never coming back." Null told her in a blunt and cold tone. "Make any more moves to try and kill Cumber or any of the other fighters and the Gods will be disqualified." He told her.
"You bastard." Freya cursed.
"Enough Freya, return here now." Odin commanded.
The Nordic Goddess turned to glare at the All Father with great fury but Odin's glare was more intense and left no round to argue. Null lets go of the sword and watches as Freya gives the Evil Saiyan once last glare before returning.
"Pain in the ass, all of them." Null mutters, returning to his spot.
"Hahahaha, that was quite the brutal finish, Cumber displaced, truly he's a savage beast." Hearts said while clapping.
Cumber didn't say a word and merely continued to walk to the entrance and made his way through the hall, once he was sure that he was out of the sight of the audience. He fell to his knees and vomited up a lot of blood, he clenched the scorch mark scar that Baldur left on his gut, his whole body in riddle with pain and he was about to pass out from stamina draining and blood loss, he was panting heavily. Sanngrior undid Volund and checks up on Cumber, helping the Evil Saiyan to his feet.
"I told you it would have killed you using your Ki to the maximum." Sanngrior told him.
"I won… didn't I." Cumber told her.
"At the price of your arm, your internal organ system and bone structure is completely damaged and your right arm is nothing more than a useless chunk of beaten flesh." Sangria told him.
"I'll grow stronger, a Saiyan will always grow stronger when coming back from the brink of death." Cumber told her.
Cumber was going to come back from this, stronger than ever, he was going to master gain control Super Saiyan 4 and Primal Limit Breaker and then continue to reach new levels and highs of power, a power beyond the Gods, a power beyond Super Saiyan God, a power beyond fusion, a power beyond Ultra Instinct! He had a list of foes that he was going to kill, one corpse at a time.
"Guess, you're covered in a lot of blood. That was quite the brutal way you kill Baldur…" Sanngrior said in a low tone, biting her lips. "You even threaten Zeus." She said, lightly panting.
"He stole my prey, so once I recover and grow stronger… I fight that old bastard, beat him to a bloody and wrinkle pulp and then kill him." Cumber said with bloodlust.
"Oh my…" Sanngrior said getting a fluster. "Savagingly pummeling and brutally killing the mighty Zeus, drenching the ground and your body with his divine blood, that's a sight I love to behold!" She shouted with a craze grin in a heavily blushing face.
"This woman is crazy…" Cumber thought, giving her a look.
"You really are a monster, a handsome one at that…" Sanngrior said flirtatiously looking at Cumber. "I like cruel and merciless men, I can see this as the start of something beautiful, born from bloodshed and violence." She purred.
"Watch yourself, woman. I won't except a weak mate, Valkyrie or not." Cumber said with a growl.
"I couldn't agree more, a weak mate is not fun~." Sanngrior told him. "So you better bring your A game, Evil Saiyan~." She said with a cruel and sadistic smirk, grabbing his chin and making him look her in the eyes.
"I show you who's in charge here, woman…" Cumber growled, gripping her by the throat and glared, Sanngrior like the mismatched eyes as the bloodshot one made him look more beastly.
