He lives in the fear of worry and wait,
Walking the darkness of endless pain.
Searching for loved one, searching for friend,
Searching for way to find home again.
He traveled far and came home alone,
Brother dear missing, house a cyclone.
Follows the trail best left by a friend.
Creature abandoned, left waiting again.
Wait at the tryst. Promise will come.
Must wait for health, no longer numb.
Wander, wander, wander, and hope.
Endless questions upon his tightrope.
Recover or worsen? Receive or deny?
Anger and guilt battle goodbye.
Excess of time has passed without word.
Is brother alive? Reality blurred.
Turning in circles, need a contact,
But all he can do is wait and react.
When will friend meet at the tryst?
All for naught or accept in the midst?
