Summary: Ellie, the daughter of Lisa Riker and Junior, The son of Q, grows up and tries to help her Grandfather, the omnipotent being Q, deal with his illness.

"Come on, " Junior called out, looking around the small room, his eyes scanning every area possible. He was looking for someone. A very specific someone. A very small someone. This someone was very special to him. One of a kind . The first of her kind. He stepped forward, keeping his eyes keen. "Come on, Little one, " he called out. His voice was playful in tone. He had been playing this game with this person for almost the whole day. He loved playing with her. She shared his playfulness. In watching her grow, he had learned so much about himself. About humanity, and about sharing and how the love of one being can change a being. Where he had grown up, he had been granted the whole universe as his playground. He had given that all up for the love of one woman. The daughter of the first officer of the star of the fleet. She had proven to be the light in his otherwise dark existence.

"Here I am, Daddy!" a tiny voice called out. Hiding behind a chair. A small giggle followed. Junior smiled to himself, he followed the sound of the voice. Peeking behind the chair, he smiled even more. "There you are!" he called . He picked up a small child and hugged her close to himself. .

"I had a good hiding spot!" the small girl replied with a giggle. She looked just like her mother. The same woman who had made him want to leave the continuum and become a human. She was the best human that he had ever met. And that was saying something. He had had only one experience with humans. And that was when he visited his Aunt Kathy and her crew. An experience that stuck with him all of his life. She was the first person who he told that he was going to be a father. HIs father was the second. He and his father had argued about him becoming a human and staying with his now wife. He knew that the Continuum had hunted down previous Q who had left the Continuum. He had been careful not to use his powers and get on their radar.

A few weeks into their marriage, they had discovered that they were going to be parents. It seemed like a fairy tale. When he found out, he was all over the place, emotionally. But when his daughter was born, all of his fears vanished. All he could see was her future. A future that was full of possibilities and travels. Both as a mortal and as part of a race of omnipotent beings. The young girl peered up into the eyes of her father. She smiled brightly. Her smile was just like her mother's . It could light up entire universes. And made him want to do everything that he could to keep his family safe. He would give up his life if he had too.

"Are you ready, Miss Ellie?" Junior bounced the young girl on his hip as he walked around the room . Before she could answer, they were blinded by a bright light.

"And how is my favorite Grandchild?" a voice called out with a smirk in his tone.

"Hello, Dad." Junior replied while Ellie looked around. "Where are we?" she asked.

"The Continuum," Q replied.
