"Why are we here?" Junior asked, looking around. At his side, Ellie held onto him closely. Q took a step forward and he brought a hand up to his Granddaughter 's face, touching it gently. He kept his gaze on her for a few moments before his gaze returned to his son. "I wanted to see my granddaughter, is that so wrong?"
The younger Q arched his eyebrow quizzically at his father in response. "You never do anything just because". He placed Ellie on the ground, stepping up to his father. "What's really going on?" he criss crossed his arms loosely infront of his uniformed chest. "The truth. "
Q quirked an eyebrow upward. "I always tell the truth," he replied.
"No. you tell what you PRESEVE to be the truth," Junior retorted with a snort.
"You want to know why I brought you here?" Q sighed. His gaze shifted to the young girl at his son's hip. Bending down, the older entity held out his hand to the girl.
"I wanted to get to know her before it was too late," he said as he waited for Ellie to take his hand in her own.
Junior uncrossed his arms, bending down to face his father. "What are you talking about?"
''Time," Q replied simply as Ellie held his hand. "Time is getting away from me and I want to see her before it's too late. "
