INTRUDER ALERT
Admiral Harriett Nelson was having a bad dream while trying to sleep for the first time in days. He had received more bad news in regard to the SEAVIEW disappearing for the past week in the Pacific. He had no idea what was going on since the Seaview had gotten a signal from a vessel mostly a Chinese ship name Sellius out of Singapore.
He had been in his office at the Institute when Angie working late with tying up Commander Lee Crane's reports inspecting the institute for a late evening.
Since Commander Lee Crane had taken over for Nelson after stepping down as Captain of the Seaview, he's not been in the best of moods of late spending time at the beach house with his new wife and children from his first marriage with Commander Rose Marie Cerley.
Twisting and turning in his queen size bed with his own wife visiting the lab in Russia with a contract to finish up a month's worth of tests on the changes of radiation poisoning in the local region with the fish, mammals, and birds.
He screamed out twice with no one around at the time to be hearing him. The third time was enough for him to wake with seeing the Seaview in some type of trouble in the Pacific. Captain Chip Morton had pressed the red alert in the Control room only to find themselves in a fog of sorts unable to move or have speech.
Captain Chip Morton standing with Chief Francis Sharkey at the plotting table are able to see two silver men dressed in some type of suit before finding themselves disappearing into the fog.
Nelson had sat up in his bed feeling alone along with the images of those silver creatures or whatever it was. Looking at the time he needed to speak with Doctor Anthony Sterling a therapist having taken over for Doctor Will Jamieson having retired.
He had no idea whether he was home or still working overnight in his office. Picking up the bedroom white phone he will dial the main extension number for his office inside the institute.
Matter of fact Doctor Anthony Sterling age 68 years old. He had been looking at some of the latest new crew members having transferred in from Washington State Naval base now leaving having asked to work for the Institute.
Looked at the time on his clock on the wall. He really needed to better look like one of the hands was getting ready to break down. He's been simply too busy to go out shopping even though he could have always asked his own secretary Judith having gone home for the evening to buy one for him as a favor.
Picking up his phone to see that it was Admiral Nelson calling him at this hour. "What can I do for you, Harriman?" he had to ask the question.
Shrugging his shoulders.
"Strange dreams about the crew of the Seaview disappearing Doc. It's been a week now since there hasn't been any word or sighting of the Seaview. I am beginning to think that all of them are dead and have been destroyed?" he cried out with the response.
"Harriman, the rescue vessels haven't been able to find any wreckage from the Seaview. Maybe this is a long stretch that maybe those dreams is an omen that Captain Morton and the crew is trying to make contact with you that they are still alive somewhere." he was pensive briefly...
"Meaning that Aliens might have taken them as experiments or another reason?" Admiral Nelson flippantly said with his emotions up settling.
"Possible Harriman since the Seaview over the years have come across a number of alien races." he preceded to say to the retired Admiral of the Institute with Commander Lee Crane having taken over as the CEO.
"I have been thinking of sending another one of my submarines to the area to investigate it further," Nelson responded by putting up a red flag for Doctor Sterling to take a look at the watch on the wrist.
"Who are you going to be getting to take out the Bellius sitting in the dock for the past three months ready for trials?" Doctor Sterling pointed out the question.
Thinking about it for the moment...
"Commander Lee Crane. I need to discuss it with him first before making the final decision Doc." he pleaded over the phone.
"Good luck on that one Harriman with Lee taking over of the Institute. Do you really think he's going to say yes?"
"If he doesn't then I will take the Bellius out since I know all of the 175 personnel I have chosen for the tests and mission. It's important Doctor that I find out the answer to the strange dreams." he tried to ignore the doctor having to put him down since the dreams had started.
"What is it you want me to say Harriman with you calling me at this hour?" he grumbled under his breath.
"Just convince me that the Seaview and the crew are still alive Doctor Sterling." he cryptically said with his statement before hanging up for him to try and sleep.
Even though in the morning around 9.30 a.m. Admiral Harriman Nelson had slept for a few hours after talking with Doctor Sterling. He had called the switchboard on whether Commander Lee Crane was in his office.
Madeline with the switchboard for 18 years for the Institute will say the following to Admiral Nelson. "Yes, Admiral, Commander Crane just arrived back in his office. He not in the best of moods at the moment with no further reports on the Seaview," she said with sympathy in her demeanor.
"Do you want me to give him a message Admiral Nelson?" she says calmly...
"Yeah, let Commander Crane stay in his office since I need to speak with him about something of importance Madeline." he croaks out with his emotions spilling over.
"I will tell him, Admiral Nelson," she said hanging up to dial his office as Commander Crane picks up the phone.
COMMANDER CRANE'S OFFICE
Lee Crane had received the message from his secretary after being told that Admiral Nelson needed to speak with him again about the Seaview.
He had been annoyed with Admiral Nelson of late with several projects having been behind in finishing with his wife having to be in Russia with her associates to finish up the month-long project on radiation and the fish.
There was a knock on his door as his secretary opened the door to let him know that Admiral Nelson is here to speak with him.
"Let him in Jodie, I will speak with him." he croaks out with his displeased with his own friend and former CEO of the Institute. He sits back down on his black swivel chair with several files on his desk that as yet he hasn't read nor signed.
