Intruder Alert

Chapter Three

"Commander Crane, I was expecting to see you onboard the Bellius?" Chief Petty Officer Timmis had to say to him in confusion.

Lee Crane will drop his go-bag while carrying his uniforms in his hands to say the following since he was annoyed. "If you're gotten the memo, you will know that I will be in charge of the Bellius as Captain for this cruise. I am not happy about it at all Chief Petty Timmis. Now if you don't mind calling a steward to have my things stored in the cabin?" he cryptically tells him heading over to the plotting table to wait for the steward.

"Right away, Captain Crane." he alluded to hating the idea that Commander Danny Wills will be working under Crane for the cruise after all of the hard work to get the position.

Meanwhile, more of the crew were arriving and including Patterson having been asked to tag along for the trip to the pacific. He had his orders and the locations he will be servicing on the nuclear submarine, as with his quarters.

Moving out of the Control room realizing that Commander Lee Crane was able to notice him formerly of the Seaview. He was told to see Doctor Jermey Winters before heading for duty. Since he had no idea when they will be leaving port.

He had passed more of the crew since he had any idea who any of them were and including a woman in uniform have to be part of the engineering crew. She will say to Patterson carrying her go bags as well. "Is there a problem?" Third Class engineer Sarah Goodman had red hair with curly hair, five feet 11 inches, and crystal blue eyes that Patterson noticed.

"No problem, Third class Goodman." he will read her name tag on her uniform. Patterson walked away to head for sickbay down below the next level.

Meanwhile, Commander Lee Crane with the steward's help will let Chief Petty officer Timmis that he was heading for sickbay. Even though he had always hated physicals by the doctors especially with Doctor Jamieson now retired.

Since there was so much more room to move around as compared to the Seaview. He takes the walkway down to the next level for where Sickbay is located passing the crew members coming abroad at the last few moments.

Reaching the sickbay level he enters by closing up the hatchway having to be the toughest alloy to keep from any flooding happening on the submarine.

Patterson had been staying in a small alcove waiting for one of the resident doctors on board to check him out, while Doctor Winters had been in his larger officer going over the files of the command staff and including Commander Lee Crane.

There was a knock on his door as Doctor Jermey Winters age 65 years old got up to open the door to be Commander Lee Crane. "I was able to get the memo Captain that you're going to be servicing abroad the Bellius. I just hope to god that we're going to be able to find out about the Seaview and the crew?" he noted.

"Tell me about it, Doctor. Since I still don't believe this at all that Admiral Harriman Nelson believes they are still alive and well." he croaks out with an exhale as the doctor asked on whether he was ready to be examined.

"I might as well since you're going to be harping on me during the cruise. Where do you want me Doctor Winters?" he dryly will say with his anger building.

Getting up from his chair to ask him to follow him into the examining room since he will be checking him over.

SOUTH PACIFIC

There had been several rescue vessels in the area for the Navy, Marines, and other regional vessels from the islands some five hundred miles away.

Though one of those vessels seem to think that the sonar man thought he had heard something not sure as he had called his commanding officer over." Sir, I am not sure what I heard. But I think the Seaview is around here as if they are caught in a cloaking device or rather void to be stuck inside developed by some country?" Lt. G. Houseman says sounding as if he was crazy.

"Are you serious Lt. Houseman? I will have to run this by with the captain and see what he has to say on the subject. Even though over the past few years there had been sightings of UFO for this region of space." he retorted with his statement.

"There has to be a logical answer to what exactly is going on with the Seaview and its crew?" lt. Houseman says at age 34 years of age has been with the Navy for ten years as a sonar man. Even though he's been considerating going into the private Navy like with the Nelson Institute.

"Okay, let me speak with Captain Bowes and see what he has to say on the subject."

Lt. Clints headed out of the sonar room to head up to the bridge to speak with the captain about the possible chance that the Seaview is somewhere in this particular region.

Captain Bowes age 56 years old has been in the Navy for 30 years on several different vessels starting out as a Lt. to be Captain of the Tailgater Naval vessel for the past five years. They had been sent to the region of the South Pacific for a rescue mission.

So far nothing had been found except for the fact that the Navy had sent a communication to the Captain to continue with the search with another nuclear submarine to be sent to the sector by the Nelson Institute to continue with them and the search.

Captain Bowes didn't like the fact that the Bellius hasn't been tested with anything that might go wrong with the cruise and the search of the Seaview.

Lt. Clints arrived on the bridge opening the doors to see the Captain sitting in his chair overseeing the operations with his binoculars. He had been reading communications from the Nelson Institute letting him know further that the Bellius will be leaving within the hour.

Looking up he sees the Lt. standing anxious to be saying what's on his mind.

BELLIUS SICKBAY EXAMINING OFFICE

Doctor Jeremy Winters had a number of things to say to Commander Lee Crane having finished his exam of the former Captain of the Seaview.

Lee came into his office to discuss any findings with him. Sitting down feeling slightly dejected thinking about his friends from the Seaview. Even though he's been acting like a total jerk of late.

"So doctor what did you find with me?" Lee croaks out with his response by crossing his legs.

Exhaling with placing his report down onto the desk filled with the crew's medical records that were sent to the submarine once he had arrived on board.

"Plenty! I don't know why you're not been telling Admiral Nelson that you're been under a great deal of street for when it comes to the Seaview disappearing for the past week?" Doctor Winters cried out slamming the file on the desk that is Crane's medical file.

He was looking terrible with his beard of him while letting his hair grow longer along with gaining some weight to be exact 15 pounds as if he doesn't care or the fact his wife had been cooking too many meals.

"I can't say anything to Admiral Nelson due to the fact I am now in charge of the Institute after he had asked me too many times over the years to take over." he alluded with a deep exhale when it comes to his release of emotion.
