Intruder Alert

Chapter Four

Doctor Winters wasn't buying his excuses at this moment looking down at his file. "Look, Commander, I need to know as to why you're not been able to show any type of emotions when it comes to your friends on the Seaview?" As he was being pensive for the moment.

"Look Doctor, I care a great deal for when it comes to the Command staff and the rest of the crew that was still loyal to me. It's hard for me at times to try and understand Admiral Nelson's methods. Especially for when it comes to the dreams he had been having?" he will cry out with a slam of his fists to the side of the chair he was sitting. "OUCH!"

Doctor Winters getting up from his seat had gotten up to take a look at his right hand having to be bruised slightly. "It serves you right Commander for doing something stupid?" he alluded with his own frustration since this cruise is going to be interesting nevertheless.

He had gone to the medicine cabinet with the keys in his pocket to take out the medication to spray it on the bruising to help with the pain along with a couple of pills to help with the pain.

Looking up into Doctor Winters's face he will say the following. "Thanks. Listen, I need to be doing the job as Captain of the Bellius for now, while I know that Commander Danny Wills needs to be doing his job as well. Hopefully, with leaving the port heading for the South Pacific, we will find out the complete truth of what exactly happened."

"When I spoke with Admiral Nelson before coming abroad. He had told me about his theory about an Alien Race might have captured the crew and the Seaview. If this is the case I am saying Captain that the threat of coming to the aliens. We will be needing to know their motives?" he scratched his head for the moment as the stress of the situation was getting to him.

"I agree with you. However, I need to know whether this crew hand-picked by the Institute will be able to handle the tension of the situation?" Captain Lee Crane noted with his statement.

"From what I can see Captain Crane, I have been able to tell that there are a few that might not make the grade when it comes to the stress factor and four of them will be in the Control room for when the Bellius is out to sea. Otherwise, we shouldn't have any other issues?" he closed the medical file of Captain Crane.

Listening to what he was saying. The one question he needed to be asking is the following. "Doctor Winters so do I pass the grade to continue on with my position as Captain?" he snorted needing to get up from the chair.

Sounding slightly annoyed with the Captain and his god damn stubbornness. "Yeah, you past Captain Crane! Just be sure to not throw your weight around with the crew that hasn't been tested? Understand me, Lee?" he exhales...

"I gotcha, Doctor Winters. Now excuse me while I get out of here to change my clothes before starting my shift in the control room." he quotes moving away from his office and heading out...

2000 feet away inside a cloaking field...

Captain Chip Morton was beginning to wake up inside a white room with the rest of his command staff. he heard Chief Sharkey moaning behind him on a small cot inside where ever they were located.

The last thing he had remember was a loud noise and a white light coming into the existence in the Control room. No one was able to understand what exactly was happening at the moment since they were probing the bottom for any type of faultlines with the recent reports hundreds of miles away at the islands of the South Pacific. Even though there haven't been any injuries or deaths so far.

Captain Charles Morton slowly rose from the small cot trying to gather his senses of where they were at the moment. "Chief Sharkey are you alright?" he alluded to asked as he felt slightly off balance for the moment.

"Slightly dizzy Captain. What the hell happened to us?" he screamed out in his response.

Moving off the cot to stand straight getting his bearings as he was feeling better with the brightness of the light of wherever they were at the moment.

Commander Martins with the Seaview for five years opened his eyes as he wasn't able to move. He cried out as if he was scared with his heart rate climbing...

Both Morton and Sharkey along with the three others walked over the best they could.

Looking down at the salt & pepper head of Commander Martins. Captain Morton had checked his pulse to find that he had died moments ago. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE EVERYONE? He's dead." he cried out with his emotions spilling over with Sharkey checking it himself as well.

"I just don't understand this skipper?" he noted with a hand to the back of his neck to find a bump of sorts. "Hey! what is this Skipper, I have this small bump on the back of my neck sticking out," he said dryly.

Moments later another member of the crew was waking up in the corner of the room is Doctor Anthony Sterling the doctor in charge of Seaview having taken over for Doctor Will Jamieson retiring.

Shaking the cobwebs out of his eyes with the lighting too bright. He had heard the voices of Captain Morton concerned as to why one of his crew and command staff were dead.

"Whose dead Chip?" Doctor Sterling calls him by his first name.

"Commander Martins is dead over there on his cot. He had woke briefly Doctor before he died. However, we have another issue as well with some type of bump located on all of us in the back of our necks. Maybe you're able to figure it out right now?" he barked with his anger building.

"I don't have any equipment with me at the moment. But tell me Captain when you woke how did you feel?" he alluded by asking about the importance of the captain.

"Dizzy and off-balance Doctor like all of the others. I remember before blacking out inside the control room there was a blinding light and a wave of distortion around the Seaview." Captain Morton paused for the moment.

"Sharkey, what do you remember?" Doctor Sterling the Chief Medical Officer will ask with grave concern.

"Same thing, I was in the corridor near the Control room when I passed out only to wake up here for the love of God, I have no idea what this place is at the moment?" he cried with sitting down on the cot feeling dizzy again as Doctor Sterling needed to check his pulse and with listening to his heart for the moment.

It was basically the same thing with everyone else inside the white room with the lights up high to be bothering everyone all of a sudden.
