Intruder Alert
Chapter Ten
Mrs. Lisa Crane walked slowly into the library with Doctor Sterling and Nelson waiting for her to arrive. Neither man had no idea how this was going to be turning out with her coming here in the first place.
Looking up from his recliner chair. Admiral Harriman Nelson will say the following. "Lisa why are you here in the first place?" he alluded with a shift in his recliner as the doctor had been watching Nelson's reaction.
"Why? I had disturbing images in my brain while I was trying to sleep. When all of a sudden the images had shown up. I just don't understand just what the hell is going on since Lee is on the Bellius searching for the Seaview?" she barked back to them needing to try and calm down.
However when she saw the yellow pad with the images on it. She will say further with her statement. "Admiral Nelson those drawings on the yellow pad, it's the same images I had with the dream or whatever it was?" she paused briefly for the moment.
"Are you sure Mrs. Crane?" Doctor Sterling had to ask her the seriousness of the question.
Exhaling deeply with her breathing since it was obvious she was upset. "Of course I am Doctor. Let me take a further look at the images on those pages?" she responded to Admiral Nelson to hand her the yellow pad for her to take a look at.
Taking a few moments with checking out the four pages of images from her mind. "What do the images tell you, Lisa?" Admiral Nelson had to say to her having to be patient with her and his own emotions.
She showed him the second page of the images. "This is the very same island I saw in the images along with the Seaview crew being held near a dock with the Seaview being guarded by these people. I wasn't really able to make out their faces." she coughs slightly needing to be asking for some cold water as Syrian will head for the kitchen to get her the water.
"Here you go Lisa with the cold water." Syrian had to say...
"Thanks for your help." after she drinks the water she was feeling better. "Tell me Harriman what the heck is going on with these images?" she tells him taking another look at the fourth page. "I must tell you that these people whoever they are I just hope to god that they won't be causing trouble with Planet Earth and all of the nations. Have you spoken to Darien about what has happened to the Seaview and the crew?" she paused briefly with waiting for Nelson's response.
"I haven't been able to make contact with Darien as the United Nations is perplexed at the moment as to why the silence, unlike the last time." Nelson recanted with his own words to be upsetting even to him.
Doctor Sterling had been wanting to ask Lisa the following since Admiral Nelson will be wanting to know as well. "Lisa, do you mind me asking you the next question?" he smirks slightly trying to think of a way to come up with the question.
"What's that Doctor Sterling?" she was holding her hands together as if she was slightly nervous.
"Tell me about why I heard the rumor that you decided to ask Captain Crane for a divorce?" he exhales deeply watching her reaction to the question.
She shifted in her seat as she let go of her hands to say ..."I am sick and tired of all of the fighting between myself and Lee. He doesn't want to listen to me having to be more interested in working instead. Ever since his divorce from Rose Marie, he's not been the same ever since he did ask me to marry him on the rebound. Even the children have been rather upset at the fact they are getting in the middle of our fights." she hesitated for the moment.
"Lisa, I am very sorry to hear this. But remember I told you this was bound to happen with Lee changing too much with marrying you on the rebound and the jealousy that Rose Marie had married the marine Lt. Robert Baskins now his team had been asked to head for Poland for a series of exercises in Poland and Finland." Admiral Nelson will tell her straight up with the comment.
"Harriman I just didn't see it nevertheless that it was going to happen. And now Lee is on the Bellius during a ticking time bomb that we don't even know what is going on? Speaking of which did you happen to receive the names of the 12 crew members that were found in the waters of Saipan?" she noted to surprise the both of them with her comment in regard to the information.
"Wait a minute Lisa how in the world did you find out about the list of names?" Nelson blurted out.
"Did you forget I have a class one security clearance and a communications specialist? I was able to contact my sources to have them tell me at least that 12 were found in the waters. I believe this is where the Seaview and the rest of the crew are located under the noses of the Naval base Harriman?" she exhales.
She watched the reaction of both the doctor and Admiral Harriman Nelson in the library.
Doctor Sterling says the following. "Do you think it's possible Harriman that those that have the Seaview and the abducted crew to have a cloaking device to be hiding from the Naval authorities that can have the energies of the cloak to be the extremely high cost of the power?" he will bring up the suggestion to him and to Lisa not really able to understand in regard to a cloaking device.
"Possible! However, I will need to be sending a communication to Sparks on the Bellius. Are you coming with me to my office to let them know or if I can reach them at all?" Admiral Harriman Nelson noted his request to both of them.
Doctor Sterling and Lisa both agreed with her to be following them with Nelson to be leaving his jeep near the house while Sterling will drive him to the main communications office at 9 o'clock at night.
BELLIUS SUBMARINE
This time around with his duties. Patterson was asked to work as a radioman for the Nightwatch with the shortness of their staff. He had agreed to work the radio shack while Engineer Sarah Goodman was working the engineering station standing up with checking her instruments in front of her.
Patterson had watched Commander Danny Wills begin his watch once again. He had been shaking his head with the chart and the personnel listing with five of them in sickbay unable to work their shift from the last time the submarine had lost its balance.
It was at this particular time when Patterson placed his earwig into his ear with a priority one coded message was coming in from the Nelson Institute. "Yes, sir, I will contact Captain Crane right away." he motioned calling Commander Wills to come over while he contacts Captain Crane in his quarters.
Lee Crane had been having a restless sleep unable to relax his body and mind. When all of a sudden he heard the buzzing of his intercom telling him that the radio shack was trying to contact him.
Groaning under his breath with moving his body off to the side of the bed in his quarters. Reaching the communications terminal, he will say the following. "What is it Sparks?"
"Sir, it's Patterson, I have Admiral Nelson online to speak with you. I have no idea what's all about sir." he croaks out with Crane telling him to connect him onto the line.
Gathering himself with a deep breath. Lee Crane waited for the boom to fall. "Go ahead Admiral, what's on your mind?" he will instruct with his comment.
"Lee I am here at the communications center with Doctor Sterling and Lisa." mentioning her name he will cringe slightly.
"Why?" he will say to him over the intercom line.
"Listen, Captain, I will be needing you and your crew to be careful with heading for the coordinates. We have to retrieve certain information that leads us to believe that aliens might be involved with the abduction of the crew and of the Seaview. Doctor Sterling, I and Lisa had received images from those involved to tell us where they might be." Nelson cried out deeply with his response.
Exhaling needing to drink something strong. "And where is this place you're talking about Admiral Nelson?" he alluded eyeing the liquor cabinet.
"Saipan island right under the noses of the Naval base. We seem to think the aliens are using some type of a cloaking device to hide them." Nelson pointed out.
"If this is the case, Admiral Nelson, I will have to say that the cloaking device takes up a large amount of energy to keep it going?" he says calmly.
"Very true. So I am saying that you need to have your crew on alert with making sure that they don't get caught with their pants down as the Seaview crew did and so far with 12 bodies to show for it." Nelson was prompted to say to Lee about the deaths.
"Okay, Sir. I will advise the crew." Captain Lee Crane needed to say.
"That's fine. Now I am going to let you talk to Lisa while I leave the center to let you talk in private." he intervened by his calling over Lisa to grab the intercom button to talk with her husband even though for a short period of time.
